I was woken up by my mother at 4'oclock in the morning,She had hung my ironed clothes on my door and had my make up all set up on my vanity table because she knows i'm not a morning person. She had bought me a cup of coffee up too so i could wake up a little bit. I got out of bed and took a shower and got ready.I walked into Angies room and gave her a light kiss on her forehead and left her a little note on her bedside table.I ran into my bedroom and got my heavy suitcase and pushed it down the stairs, I got smell my mother cooking some pancakes and bacon it smells so beautiful it was making my mouth water,I pushed my case over to the front door and make my way to to kitchen to have my breakfast.Mother made me a fresh cup of coffee as i left my old one upstairs in the bedroom. "Mama go back to bed it's way to early for you to be up" "no way Dorothy" "mama please you need the rest" she sighed and put my pancakes and bacon to the side "Dorothy promise me you'll be fine" she said as she grabbed me for a hug "Mama i said i'll call you every night everything will be just fine" "I can't believe my baby girl is growing up so fast before my eyes" she said as she was stroking my hair and then made her way back up to bed.I ate my breakfast and went into my living room and grabbed a few books as i don't know how long we would be on the road for.I heard a quite knock on my front door so i rushed over and opened it, There was Marcus the security man from when I visited Gladys.

"Come on in! I need help with my suitcase!" I said "Where ya going little lady! You're only going away for a few days not for two months" he laughed.

I could see a figure in the car but I'm not sure who it was. I grabbed my coat and hand bag which was placed by the door by my mother and headed out the door, I pulled the door shut and took a deep breath in. This trip could be the best decision of my life or the worst. I put my coat on, I heard the trunk of the car slam shut as Marcus put my case in the trunk.I turned to walk to the car and climbed in the car, the figure didn't say a word to me i don't know who it is because they've got a coat covering them.

We had been driving for roughly two hours, the sun was rising and no one has said a word. This is the most awkward situation I've ever been in. I pulled the curtains to block to sunlight in from the sunset, I've never been in a car with curtains. I took my coat off and used it as a pillow as i leaned my head against the window. I managed to fall asleep as I was so tired, it has felt like we've been driving for days, I woke up but kept my eyes shut, I'd rather pretend to be asleep than be in this awkward situation. Marcus was singing alone to the radio and this mystery person is snoring.

I felt the car come to an all of a sudden stop "she still not awake?" it was Elvis all along underneath that fucking jacket. I didn't open my eyes because i didn't want to seem too excited, elvis pulled me closer to him gently and put my coat over me like a blanket and warped his arm around me and started to run his fingers through my hair. This was so relaxing i was nearly falling back asleep. "Elvis do you want anything from the gas station? Cover your face up too, it's too early for people following us" "ahh yes please Marcus get me some juice and water for the lady" "alright el" i heard Marcus run on the rocky road into the gas station. Elvis started to sing 'I love you because' as he was playing with my hair I couldn't help but smile. "I saw that Dorothy" "Shhh elvis im asleep cant you see" "aw really now that's a shame" he said in a sarcastic tone. He grabbed my face and kissed me all over my face i tried to push his face off mine.
