Eve's pov

I was racing Kaden to the kitchen, but he beat me cause he used his wolf speed.

I see Jax enter the kitchen the same time as Calex. "What cakes do you want to make?" Jax asks.

"Muffins" yells Kaden, the same time I yell "cupcakes!".

We look at each other and pout. "I have an idea!" I call out. The boys look at me with wonder.

"Let's make muffin cupcakes!" Kaden nods his head like a bobble head.

"How?" Jax asks. I grin "well, I just though of this on the spot, but why done we make muffins, cut a small bit out, so we can sit the cupcake in?".

"Smart and beautiful, very lucky aren't we" Jax nods his head.

"I'm not... Wait, you spoke! You said you don't cause it's like an animal! I knew I wasn't hearing things yesterday!".

He stalked towards me, hands on my waist, "you will hear more of it" his green eyes, going to gold.

"I will moan your name in the crook of your neck, when I plunge-" I shake my head, and push at his chest.

"You dirty dog! I don't want to hear that, that's nasty! Guys!" I heard a little growl from Jax.

"Easy there, let Calex have control back" he growled, and nuzzled his head in the crook of my neck.

"I will see you very soon, my little  one"" he kisses my neck, and pulls away.

I look at everyone, shocked. Calex growled, and held me in his arms "let's make cake" Jax suggests.

I wriggle free, and slide over to Kade who wiggles his eyebrows at me.

I hit his chest making him laugh. We use the materials, and crack the eggs, whisk, flour and all that mambo jumbo.

I mainly let Kade do all that, he let me whisk. When done, we made the batches for the cupcakes and the muffins.

We made normal one, and chocolate ones of each. Kade and I both had the mix, but I was nice enough to share with Calex and Jax.

"Can I sit on the couch while they cook?" They nod, and say I don't need to ask.

I smile, and at thanks, and head to the sitting room. After a minute, I heard feet heading my way.

Looking up, I see Calex standing calmly. I smile, and pat the deer. He sits beside me, making the seat dip a tiny bit.

"Eve..." I look at him, and smile. "What's up?" He had a straight face, and took a deep breath.

I put a hand on his knee, and he looks at it "whatever it is, you can tell me".

"I wanted to say, I'm sorry. The way my wolf acted earlier wasn't the right time. He just wanted to see you, and when he did, he just said the first thing that came to mind".

I blush, and say that it's ok. He takes my hand in his, and I add "there's nothing to apologize for, it's understandable. Also, what do you mean, wolf?".

He chuckles "werewolves are human, and wolf. The wolf is the wolf's form, half his both, and human is me. In our heads, there is a voice, and that is your wolf talking to you. You both share the body".

"That sounds really interesting" he smiles, slightly, but it's gone before I could tell.

"But a pain in the ass, sometimes" he chuckles "my wolf is having a go at me" I giggle, and he smirks.

He strokes my cheek, and slowly leans in, and Kade calls, staying the cakes are done.

"Let's go!" I cheer, shooting up, and running to the kitchen. O see the cakes have been put out, and the icing was made.

There was blue, red, purple, and black. I test one, and it tasted good.

Everyone grabbed a colour, I grabbed purple, Kade got blue, Jax had black while Calex chose red.

Kade and I looked at each other and snuck a cupcake each with icing on. We grin at each other.

"What happened to waiting till they were finished?" Jax questions.

I giggle "these two were" Kade nodded "what she said".

Jax took my hand, and tugged me to him with a smile. I was confused, and nervous.

I look down, and he tilts my chin up. He leaned down, and pressed his lips to the corner of mine, slightly touching them.

He pulled back, and smiled adoringly at me shocked state. "You had icing".

I heard a small growl, and then felt arms wrap around me. I felt lips on mine, and gasp.

He purrs, and kisses me once more, before pulling me away. "What was that for?!" I squeal.

He chuckles, touching my lip with his thumb "I wanted some sugar".

I couldn't help but make a goldfish face. Whaa?

He lets out another deep chuckle, and I turn around. Oh, my god, what is it with these boys?...
