Eve's pov

Groaning, I turn on to my back, feeling as if I was hit by a truck with trucks on.

"I think she's waking up" a voice whispers. Peaking my eyes open very slowly, I see Kade, Jax, and burgundy.

"Guys?..." I'm quietly hush, and a small growl. I look at burgundy, and whisper "you're... Here?" He stiffly nods.

"I thought you... Guys hated each other?" He nods, then Jax spoke "we do, we just needed his help to get you back".

"Your a fucking idiot for letting her out of your site in the first place. She was safer with me" they both snarl at each other.

"Guys..." They look at me, and I whisper "it was my fault... I left the bedroom, even though I was sick and should have staid".

"Mate, sick?" That was burgundy's voice. "I don't think I am now... My body was still fighting if I should be wolf or not".

"Speaking of, why did I transform?" Jax spoke up "because, it was just enough to turn you for a moment, but some cells kept fighting back" I nod.

"I can't smell the wolf scent" he growls. I was confused. Jax sniffed the air, and looked confused too. Burgundy came, and sat beside me.

He nuzzled his head in the crook of my neck, purring. "Divine" he mumbles.

"Werewolves have different scents to humans. You smell human" burgundy says, making the guys nod. My eyes widen.

I'm human gain?!

"How?" Kade asks in total shock. "They drained my blood, and started putting human blood in me. He said that the blood would go back to being my own cause of my gene, so how it tasted will stay the same".

I cringe, that sounds nasty.

"That's not it... That has been tried, no one turns human again. Not even if they do that with a newly turned" Jax states.

"Maybe I was just lucky?" I question, and he nods. "Oh yeah, burgundy, I forgot to ask what's your name?".

He kept his face in the crook of my neck, and kisses it softly, before leaving it there "Calex, my love" I smile "that's a nice name".

He purrs, and keeps an arm around me. "When do you want to leave?" He questions in the link, and Jax growls.

"Leave?" He nods "but... My friends?" He growls lowly "you can see them again".

"Can't I just stay for another day or two? Please?" I try to give the puppy dog eyes, but I can't do them, but it's worth a shot.

He raises a brow, and grumbles, eyes swirling with gold still "a week" I smile, and do something I thought I wouldn't do.

I hugged him. He stiffened immensely, and didn't do anything. I go to pull away, but he wrapped his tree trunk like arms around me.

I smile, and sniff, but I couldn't smell smell his scent properly. It was faint, and what I could smell was nice. But I miss really smelling it. The same for Jax too.

I pout, and look down "what's up, beautiful?" Jax questions coming over.

"Your scents, I smell them so faintly. They smell nice, but I miss really smelling them. They were amazing".

He softly smiles "it's ok, you will one day" I smile, and nod. Calex growled "We will just have to stay close enough to you then". He placed his hand on my thigh.

"Maybe not that close" I smile. He growls lowly, "why not?" His chest rising, and falling.

"I don't want to do it with an animal" he raised a brow, a dark smile crossing his features. "You haven't seen an animal yet".

I blush furiously, and he chuckles. "Easy. She's still new to all this. And if I'm guessing, she's still pure in all the ways they come".

"If you're suggesting the virginity, definitely" he growls, and Jax shakes his head "not just that! Her heart".

Calex smirked, then nodded. "Thank you guys... For saving me. I don't know how to repay you enough".

"Play computer games with me when your better" Kade grins, and I nod with a smile.

"Just keep smiling" Jax whispered. I smile at him, making him mirror it.

"Be happy, and stay by my side" he whispers in the link. Everyone look as if they were waiting for him to say something.

He didn't want them in the link at the moment. I look into his golden green orbs, they were hard, but soften a fraction. I nod, and he tightens his arms around me.

"I have to go for a moment, I'll be back when you wake" I look at him in confusion.

"What's wrong?" I ask softly, gripping his arm. He stiffened, and clenched his jaw "nothing, rest, mate"

He removes my hands, surprisingly gently, and set them down, stroking my hair. Then he left.

"Can you see if he's ok? Please?" Jax nodded, and I say thank you. He smiles, and leaves.

Kaden came over, sitting beside me. He lets me rest my head on his lap, and strokes my hair.

"Thanks..." I whisper "anytime munchkin" I giggle.

"Kaden..." I trail off. He hums "yeah?" I was quiet for a moment, feeling tired.

"Thanks, for everything..." He kisses the top of my head "anytime" he repeats.

I smile, and hug his leg as I drift off to sleep....

Calex's pov

I was downstairs, and in the sitting room. I moved my shirt, so I could see my arm. It was slightly red, like a rash.

Two little puncture wounds on the shoulder, then another set a little lower.

It was a black shade now, my veins now black. It was now a small fiery sensation in the area, slowly spreading through my veins.

I cough, and my wolf was resting, trying to lend me strength, cause mine is slowly fading by the hour.

"You alright?" Why does the bitch follow me around?! "Fine" I growl. I adjust my sleeve, a d he grips me.

I snarl in warning, but he just pulls the sleeve up "you got bitten" he states, eyes lingering on the wounds.

"It's nothing" I snarl agitated. I move it once more, and he looks at me "she needs to know".

I shake my head, standing tall, mean face on "no one tells her anything. She doesn't need to know".

"It's in your hands... But tell her... She won't be able to handle it" I nod "that's why she can't know".

"When the time comes, tell her I have gone to my home, and will never bother her again".

Just saying this made me, and my wolf angry, and actually a bit sad. I never want to leave her.

But this time... I can't stop it...
