Everything around Natsu have to of  seemed to changed. The smells were stronger and he everything seemed to be more intense. His emotions were everywhere.
   The guild was noisy as always. The full roar had quieted down since the departure of fairy tails #1 team: Erza, grey, Lucy, Wendy, Carla and happy. A quiet chuckle made its way to his throat ,'anywhere Carla goes Happy is bound to follow' he thought to himself.
A feeling suddenly struck Natsu, the feeling that someone was watching him. No doubt in his mind he was being watched by Gajeel. He knew that sooner or later the iron prick would come back to annoy him with lectures.
He relaxed his back onto the wall and closed his eyes. 
      He needed to get the numbing itch that had implanted itself within him. It would bug him at all hours of the day wanting for something he knew he couldn't have. To feel her would be impossible and to have her.... mind, body, and soul would be more than impossible. No matter how much fate demanded it.

Then the aroma hit him like a ton of bricks to the back of the head.  The light touch that sparked the burning heat of a thousand suns raced through his blood.
      "Hey Natsu-" he turned his head to meet his gaze with her "I couldn't do it- as weird as it sounds I couldn't leave you behind - something doesn't feel right" she turned her face to the side as she spoke with her face turning pink.
With her luggage in hand she sat there waiting for an answer or response.

Something.

"Luce" he called out in almost a whisper " don't you need this job-". She brought her finger up to his lips and shushed him. "It's fine I've been saving up so I'll be okay - you need me here and don't try to tell me that your fine because I know you Salamander and you've been acting strange" she purposefully called him by this name reminiscing of the time when they first met.
In all honesty it was then in that very moment he laid eyes on her that he knew that she was the one.
Although he wasn't of age at the time.

She pouted up her lips and slowly moved her finger off her lips. "Now if you help me take all of this stuff home I'll cook for you with no complaints" she said with the most cheerful smile. But to her it was only and second and to Natsu it was an eternity.

The words that were brought to life by the Dragon that laid dormant until only a few weeks ago. And unnoticed flash of red in his eyes signaled him losing control but he wasn't quiet at that point yet. All the slayer wanted to do was sink his fangs into her as he fucked Her senseless.
    He wanted to hear every harmonic noise that she would make as he light up her world with the intense passion of his beast.
  All it would take it just one touch and he was certain he could have her pleading for more

"Deal" was all that was heard from him before taking suitcase in hand and walking out of the guild.

On the way back to Lucy's apartment the walk was moderately awkward. Neither of them knew what to say. There was no doubt that they both had complicated feelings towards one another and it was painfully apparent by the awkward stairs that they would do towards one another.
The sun was setting on Magnolia with an array of colors that couldn't be described through mere words. "Isn't it beauty" the blond rang out" she  closed her eyes and felt the wind through her hair and on her face.
  'Too fucking beautiful' he thought to himself not daring to utter a single word as he starred at her. He didn't know how much longer he could hold on to his sanity at this point.
When they finally reached the front of her house Lucy's hips that were tightly wrapped underneath a conspicuously short sundress swayed in front of him. 'Oh the things that I would do to those hips' his thoughts rang out. He could only try to stop the onslaught of thoughts that would rush through his head. She walked up the stairs before him with him not to far behind.

Just a foot away.

The sight of her ass round up right in front of his face was his breaking point 'Fuck it'. He grabbed on to hand and with an assertive yet gentle he pulled her right into his arms. "NATSU-" she gasped out in fear not expecting what he done.
"What are you doing- " she was to embarrassed to finish her sentence seeing as the scandals position that they were in. Her face all 50 shades of red tried to look him in the eyes but his were closed. 'Take her noooowww' the dragon whispered to him.
After a moment or two of fighting with himself he finally spoke "Luce I need to know something right now" he said with the most stern voice.

"Sure..what is it?" She nervously choked out the words. Terrified of what he would say next. She did ponder whether to Lucy kick him but she couldn't lie to herself and say she wasn't loving the feeling that he's giving her. "I need you... NO I need you to promise me something" he said with closed eyes and placed his forehead onto hers.
"Nats-" she began but was interrupted "I need you to promise me that no matter what I become you'll never be scared of me" he almost whispered that last part. "Please-"

"I promise" was all that she could say

"Are you sure ??!?" The bluenette squeaked as the news got to her ears. "Yes I'm sure - I could smell it all over him" Gajeel gritted his teeth at the thought of what he knew was to happen

"WELL ?!!! we have to help Lulu" she gasped "what If she doesn't want him or WORSE.... WHAT IF HE HURTS HER" The small girl couldn't contain herself at the thoughts that were rushing through her head. " you realize it's not completely is that chooses our mate but our inner dragon" he huffed out. "We chose who we are meant to be with and you know as well as I do the way they look at one another"

"Let's just hope he doesn't hold everything back until he snaps"

       He knew he was gonna lose control sooner or later. But he couldn't pull himself away from her, nor could he stand to be away from her.
"Hey Natsu can you hand me the pepper over there" Lucy was happily humming along to some songs as she cooked in her Little kitchen. There was no doubt that she loved her apartment, she loved everything about it. But what many didn't know was that she loved to cook.
"Which one is it again ?" He said confused as he searched through the endless bottles of God knows what. "With your nose I would of thought you'd be able to sniff it out" she laughed and continued on "it's the red bottle next to the white and blue one" she said as she stirred the sauce on the pan. "FOUND IT" he bursted out happily and handed her the bottle. 'I don't know what smells better her or the food' —— 'Definitely her'

"What are you making anyway" he leaned over her and subconsciously placed a hand on her waist as he did. She turned pink when she realized what he had done. The thought of them together made her heart bubble but she doubted that it would ever happen. 'Dense idiot' she thought. "I'm making pasta" she said smiling.

Dinner was a complete success that night. Natsu as always gobbler down his food like an animal. The entire time Lucy just smiled and watched him eat. She loved the fact that he loved her cooking. It brought her joy to see him happy, she would always want to see him happy.
As it got later the night grew colder without the suns bright rays. Lucy was preparing for bed as the cold started to seep through the walls and into her. She hated the cold. Then a thought raced through her head that would solve her problems but she was afraid to even suggest it.
"Hey Natsu- ummm- don't take this the wrong way but you can sleep in the bed tonight" she awkwardly tried to put an explication together the best that she could "it's cold out and I need a heater" she laughed a little at the last part knowing that there was no doubt that Natsu was literally a walking heater.
"Are you sure ? " he asked. There was no way that he would argue with it but he had to make sure nonetheless. "Yes I'm sure - hurry before I change my mind"
They both climbed into bed and soon they drifted off to sleep.
