"Athena, this was just a one-week trip. Not an entire month." Tobias chuckled at the bags being loaded onto the plane.

"It's Paris, Tobias. Plus, this is our first time being seen in public after the ball. I have to look my best. I'm being torn apart for anything now." I sighed.

"This is a business trip."

"Tobias, you can't go to Paris for business. You have to explore the city for what it is. Have you ever been?"

"No." He said while walking up the stairs.

I rolled my eyes before carefully walking up and into the jet. We sat down in the black leather seats.

"No? You've never been to Paris?" I scoffed while sitting across from him. He shook his head. "Tobias, why haven't you?"

"I never found it interesting." He shrugged while taking out his phone.

"It's the city of love."

"Exactly."

"Well, now I've deemed myself as your official tour guide."

We finally arrived in the beautiful city. Tobias held my purse as we walked to the front desk of the hotel.

"Bonjour, Vous enregistrer ?" The woman questioned.

"What did she say?" Tobias whispered in my ear.

"She asked if we were checking in. Is it under your name?" I questioned. He nodded. "Oui, c'est sous Tobias Landon."

"Suite présidentielle. Voici la clé."

"Merci. Presidential suite huh?" I smiled while holding up the gold card.

"Only the best." He said while walking us towards the elevator. "What would I have done with you? I would've been lost at Bonjour."

"I'm sure she speaks English, but it's fun testing out my French."

"You're a master."

"Never forget it." We both got onto the elevator. Tobias pressed the top floor and I sighed. "After we get settled, it should be night. Meaning the Eiffel tower will be lit."

"I've seen pictures before."

"Oh come on. It's better in person."

We arrived on the top floor and walked into our suite. It was beautiful. The ceiling was a huge mirror with a golden chandelier hanging from it.

I smiled while placing down my purse next to the bags that were already carried up. I took a tour of the beautiful place starting with the living room.

The couch had pillows that were beautifully arranged. The decor accented every detail on the walls.

I walked towards the kitchen. The sinks were gold along with the handles on every drawer. I finished my tour and went to the master bedroom.

"Woah."

"I've seen nice things in my life, but Paris does it better," Tobias said while walking in.

"Where's the second bedroom?" I questioned.

"Shit." Tobias huffed. "I forgot to change the reservation. It's fine, I'll just sleep on the couch."

"For an entire week? That'll hurt your back. We can just build a barricade or something." I shrugged. "Or see if there's another suite available."

I took the clip and shook out my hair.

"Worry later, it's tour time."

Tobias and I spent our day riding tandem bikes and trying any food staple of the beautiful city. We were both bundled up in coats with hot coffee in our hands waiting for the lights on the tower to turn on.

"Amazing. The second best coffee I've ever had." Tobias smiled while taking a sip out of the thermo cup.

"Nothing can beat this."

"Have you tried coffee from Columbia?"

"Ah, you're right."

"Who made you fall in love with the city of love?" Tobias questioned while sitting down on a random bench.

I sat down next to him. "My father did. When my mom left, he took me here and showed me everything. The tower, the museums. We ate the best beignets and that was the first time I tried coffee."

"Really?"

"Yeah. He use to be a good guy, once upon a time ago. We use to stare at the Eiffel Tower and ironically, la vie en rose use to play." I smiled to myself.

"Louis Armstrong?"

"Edith." I nodded. "I like it here. I feel like a real human. No one knows who I am but a few people. I can be myself without judgment. Surely it'll get back to American media, but living in the moment is nice."

"I've always enjoyed going out of the states. I can relax like I'm normal."

"Well then let's act normal." I stood up. "Look."

I pointed towards the Eiffel Tower that soon lit up. Tobias smiled while staring at the beautiful attraction.

"Much better in person?"

"Way better."

"What's got you so tense over there? It's just a luncheon, nothing serious." I questioned while staring out the car window.

"I know, but this is my first time doing something that's not related to my parents. I'm passionate about this winery, and making connections here will help me get a branch here."

"Right. Quiz me so I won't seem clueless on who you're meeting."

"Pierre Fleur. He owns Fleur winery."

"Pierre? You didn't tell me this was Pierre, I fucking love his wine. That's literally what Kaleb pours me for my daily glass."

"So basically you know everything."

"Yes." I nodded. "Tobias, this is huge. I mean really huge."

"Mr. And Mrs. Landon, we have arrived."

"Solana." I correct while the driver opened the door. Tobias stepped out and then held his hand out to assist me. "Thank you."

Tobias nodded.

"Tuileries garden? This is where the luncheon is at?" I questioned while looking over towards Tobias.

"I guess so."

"Right this way Mr. and Mrs. Landon." The man with a thick French accent said while opening the door. I sighed before grabbing Tobias' hand.

"They're gonna address you as Mrs. Landon all night."He mumbled.

We walked into the gardens. A long table was set up with beautiful flowers decorating it. There were candles lit on the tables.

"Tobias Landon!" Pierre exclaimed, with his accent.

"Bonjour." Tobias stuck out his hand. Pierre happily shook it.

I glanced at the people sitting at the table. They all watched the interaction in amazement.

"You must be the beautiful Athena Solana." He pulled me close.

"Bonjour." I smiled before giving him three air kisses. "L'endroit est Magnifique."

"Merci. Vous parles Français?"

"Oui."

"I love her already! Have a seat."

Tobias held his hand out and escorted me to our seat. He pulled out the chair and allowed me to sit before pushing it in.

"Very beautiful couple." The older lady smiled.

"Bonjour, Mme Fleur." I nodded.

"Mme Fleur," Tobias repeated while sticking out his hand. She politely shook it.

"I was telling my beautiful wife about you taking over S&W." Pierre started while sipping his wine.

Uh oh.

Tobias shifted in his seat.

"I'm so excited to see what you do with it. I use to do business with them, but they are very stubborn people who don't like change." She shook her head.

"I know. But I've been working hard and I plan on bringing something new with the company."

"Well, please let me know when the fashion show is. Pierre and I would love to come. And don't forget, there is inspiration all over Paris for your designs."

"Merci. Of course." I nodded.

"Please tell us, how did you guys meet?"

"My father hosted a luncheon and he was there. It didn't take long for me to notice him, we just talked the night away and have been talking ever since." I gave him a warm smile.

Tobias' face flashed with happiness.

"You guys are truly beautiful together. When is the wedding?" Mme Fleur questioned.

"We don't have a date yet, but I'll make sure to send you all an invitation." I smiled.

They both nodded.

"Dinner should be out in a minute." The French girl smiled while filling the glasses with wine. "A personal toast from the gardens."

"Merci," Tobias said as she filled her up. He flashed her his dazzling eyes. He swirled the wine before taking a sip.

I rolled my eyes before picking up the glass. I took a sip and smiled. "Doux et délicat."

"I'm glad you like it, Athena." Pierre nodded.

The night went by smoothly. We ate dinner and Tobias and I found ourselves walking amongst the city of Paris.

"You really saved me. Maybe I should learn French."

"I can teach you. Do you know Spanish?"

"A little."

"The language is kind of similar so you can pick it up easily."

"Athena! Tobias! Faites-vous des affaires avec Pierre Fleur?"

"Rentrer à la maison les américains"

French paparazzi begin to swarm us. I felt myself being drifted away from Tobias.

"votre entreprise viticole échouera ici"

"Backup!" I can hear Tobias yell.

"Tobias!" I yelled as the paparazzi pushed me to get to him. "Get your hands off of me!"

I couldn't find Tobias. I was swarmed with strange men flashing cameras in my face. My heart began to beat like crazy and I became short of breath.

In a panicked frenzy, I tried shoving them out of my way, but they were too strong. I couldn't breathe, my head was racing, and my vision was blurry.

I broke down crying while continuing to push. I felt a strong arm around my waist and gasped. They held tight, I tried to wiggle out of their grasp, but they were too strong. They began to pull.

"No! Get off of me!" I yelled trying to remove it. "Let me go."

"It's me, love. It's me." I heard Tobias say.

He pulled me from the crowd and quickly rushed us over to a hidden bench. I held my chest trying to gain my sense back.

"Breathe, just breathe." Tobias mumbled.

But I couldn't. My body began to tremble as I stood up pacing.

"You're shaking." Tobias quickly took off his jacket and placed it over me. He sat me back down on the bench. "Look at me."

His words were being blocked from my head. I tried my best to gain a steady rhythm of my breathing. He grabbed my face and looked me deep in my eyes.

"You're going to be okay, love." He said. "I think you're having a panic attack, just breathe. Okay?"

I nodded.

"You're going to be okay."

~

I woke up to the sun shining in my eye. I groaned while sitting up straight. The bed was empty. I stood to my feet walked towards the bathroom.

I opened it and gasped. Tobias had a towel wrapped around his waist.

"I'm so sorry. I should have knocked." I quickly hurried out.

I wasn't mad at the sight I saw. I didn't know that Tobias had half a sleeve, it added to his attractiveness. I shook my head and sat on the bed waiting for him to come out.

A few minutes later, he exits the bathroom. This time he was clothed.

"Sorry." I said with my head down before going into the bathroom.

I quickly brushed my teeth and washed my face before meeting him in the kitchen.

"I understand if you want to stay in today." Tobias started while picking up the hotel phone.

"I'm so sorry about walking in on you."

"It's okay. I'm ordering breakfast, want anything?"

"Eggs Benedict."

"Coffee?"

I nodded.

"Can I do two egg Benedict's and two coffees please?" Tobias questioned. "He doesn't know what I'm saying."

I smiled and grabbed the phone. "Deux œufs Benedict et deux cafés, s'il vous plaît"

"Tout de suite."

"Merci." I said before hanging up the phone.

There was a knock on the door and Tobias furrowed his eyebrows. "That can't be the food, you literally just ordered it."

"I know."

He walked towards the door and opened. There say a bouquet of white roses.

"I'm assuming that this is for you." He picked it up and handed to me.

I pulled the notecard from it and opened it.

"My Greek goddess. I use to love Paris, I'd make sure to buy a Chanel purse every time I went. You could use one. Love, Zeus herself."
