I LOOKED AT her as she danced around. I smiled, happy that she was finally enjoying herself.

But, it was weird.

She suddenly started getting out all the beer and drinks. She drank them like no tomorrow. When I asked her why she said she needed a little motivation for something.

For what would she need motivation for?

"I'm in love with the shape of you!" She sang, moving around, and twisted her hips along to the beat. She was an incredible dancer and I enjoyed seeing her dance. I loved the drunk version of her. She tumbled towards me and pulled on me to dance together with her.

"Come on!" She pulled me, giving me a bright smile and I narrowed my eyes at her. What was she preparing herself for? Was she going to do something? Was she going to tell me something hard for her to express?

Why does she need motivation?

I quickly bent down, circled my arm around the back of her knees and carried her over my shoulder. She squealed and dropped the glass of wine she was holding onto the sand. I chuckled. My eyes widened when I felt a hand slap over my butt.

"Ooh. Kinky." I teased, a grin stretching my lips. "Do you want one too?"

"No!" Her response was immediate and I was positive that her face was cherry red right now. "Don't you dare!" She shouted and I laughed, controlling the heavy urge to smack her perfectly shaped butt. "Put me down."

"Not unless you tell me what is going on," I said. She remained silent for a moment and it confirmed my doubts. Something was up and I had a feeling that I was not going to like it. "Kitkat, what is going on?" I asked, placing her down and she didn't move away. Her face looked down for a moment before a big smile took over it.

"Nothing." She cheered. "I just wanted to tell you something."

"You can tell me anything," I assured her, hugging her closer towards me and she seemed to relax immediately. I loved the fact that I affect her as much as she does to me.

"I think I can help your Mom." She voiced out her thoughts. I narrowed my eyes at her, confused. What does she mean? In health?

"Auden." She breathed out, looking down at her feet for a moment. I lifted her chin and kissed her forehead softly. I held her close, making sure to give her as much comfort as I can.

"I will be here. I won't go away. You can tell me." I whispered against her forehead and she held me tighter.

"You know my last name right?" She asked.

I shook my head. "No."

"Shira didn't tell you?"

"She said she knows. I asked her not to tell me. I wanted to hear it from you." I stroked her cheek softly and she smiled. I could see her drunken state fading away.

"My last name is De Beaut." She bit her lips as if waiting for a wild reaction from me. For a moment, I frowned, feeling like the name was familiar. I blinked at her rapidly and she tilted her head in confusion at my silence.

"Katherine De Beaut," I said and a blush appeared on her cheeks before she looked away in embarrassment. I smiled. "I am a fashion designer." She said and I raised my eyebrows in surprise before pride washed over me. I felt very proud of her. My girl is a fashion designer, just like my mother. "I run a designing company just like your mother."

I pulled her away for just a second to look at her eyes. Was she telling a joke?

"Auden, I am not joking." She read my thoughts.

"But—"

"I know."

"And—"

"I know."

"How?"

"Long story." She lifted her shoulders before dropping them down as she pursed her lips.

"You run a company? And you are here? Wouldn't they be searching for you?" I asked and she let out a sigh.

"I don't run the company." She said. "I mean—I do. I own the company. But, they—they take care of it."

I tilted my head in confusion.

"Who?" I asked.

"Them." She deadpanned and I nodded, understanding immediately that she didn't want to talk about it. Her shoulders dropped for a moment and she let out a breath for a moment. Something popped into my mind and my eyes widened.

"Wait! De Beauty Fashion Store!" I exclaimed as the name popped into mine. "You own it?" I asked.

"Yes."

"Katherine." I breathed out her name as realisation struck me hard. "It is your company that is trying to shut down my mother's." She blinked before her eyes widened into huge saucers.

"Oh my god, we have to go now." She started walking back and forth.

"Where?" I asked, bewildered and very extremely confused. "Why? Do you own the company? You can just give them a phone call."

"No, I can't."

"Why?"

"I just can't." She dropped her shoulders, looking immensely stressed out as she placed her hand on her forehead. What is she trying to hide?

"Where do we have to go?" I asked softly.

She looked up at me. "To my house." The way she said it sounded bitter. She hated that idea, I could tell.

"Kitkat." I pulled her towards me, releasing a sigh. "You don't have to do this."

"No, are you expecting me to keep quiet when I am trying to help you?" She asked, bewildered and I pulled her to me again.

"I don't want you to do something you hate for me," I said, meaning it.

"I would do anything for you, Auden." She blurted out and her eyes widened like she just saw a ghost when she realised what she had just said. Meanwhile, there was a beaming smile stretching my lips and my heart was hammering against my rib-cage like a high-school marching band. I felt like the happiest man alive and I crushed her to my body before smashing my lips on hers.

They moved fiercely against one another and her small soft hands ran through my hair, pulling me closer towards her. Every kiss after kiss, the ferocity was growing more and more. I clasped my hands on either side of her face and the sound of her moan made my heart flip. The world surrounding us was forgotten and my thumb caressed the spot under her ears, making her push herself against me.

She would not be this bold if she was sober. Drunk Kitkat had no chill and fear of expressing her thoughts and I loved it. She arched up into my chest, and I moaned in the contact of my body heat against her own. Warm spread throughout my body and I felt addicted. I couldn't help but smile throughout the kiss. It was the first time she said something romantic to me. Something about her feelings for me. I felt like I could conquer the world.

How can a few words from the love of your life change your mood in just a second?

I pulled away, grinning like a Cheshire cat. Her cat-like bright blue eyes looked shy. Her face was flushed and her soft lips were red and plump. Her blonde hair was messy and it was so hard for me to control myself when she looked like a goddess. Her chest was moving up and down and dirty thoughts started running through my mind. I felt all my blood run down to the south side of my body. I wanted to take her right there and then. "Would you?" I asked, almost teasingly with a huge smile.

"Yes." Her response was immediate. I grinned more as if it was possible.

"I will be there beside you the whole time love. The entire time. Then we can come back once everything is over. You can stay here with me and I will keep you safe Kitkat. I love you. I won't let you be alone." I said, looking straight into her eyes and she nodded, hugging me close as tears filled her eyes. I rested my forehead against hers, finally feeling at peace.

"Auden." Her voice sounded troubled.

"Yes, love?"

"There is a teeny tiny problem." She said. I frowned, stroking her cheek.

"What is it?"

"Remember when I said I told them that I was married to Auden Milson before I ran away from the wedding?" She asked.

"Yes?" A mischievous smile stretched my lips.

"How am I going to go back without Auden Milson?" She shrugged and I smiled like a Cheshire cat as she looked at me like I had grown two heads.
