Liam Knight was coming back from inspecting a location . The place was a dump.Liam Thought he had found a diamond in the rough but he sensed wrong . Liam was angry with himself , last week his brother had closed a very important deal . That could have been his success . If he was not busy planning Axel's career's early demise , he would have been the one to close the deal .

He was so engrossed in his thoughts , he missed the turn . He kept driving around to ease his frustration . He pulled over his car to check the GPS . He was about to turn when he noticed a beautiful girl standing behind the counter of a cafe . She was talking to an elderly man . He sat on his car watching her . When the man left , there were a few people left inside . That was his turn . He walked inside , The girl gave him a smile ,he was sure she gave to every customer . But her smile dropped when she saw him ,Liam smirked . She was nervous , and he liked that . He was a bully and he wanted his prey to submit to him .

Liam kept checking her out. Hoping for her lash out or cry . But She stood her ground . He enjoyed that. When She asked for his name . He gave the one he always used in situations like this, 'AXel Knight .' This trick always worked . From calling a girl slut , When she refused to dance with him in the club or breaking a man's jaw when they tried to save the girl's honor . Gossip columns loved these news , Not even caring to double check the story and Axel's name made the news next day.

After he was satisfied checking her out, he asked for a coffee so she would turn around . He knew she was aware of his gaze on her ass . But she still stood the ground, fascinating, he thought. He loved breaking those who thought they were strong . But they always break , Sooner or later.

He left taking a sip of the coffee , It was one of the best he ever had. He threw the pastries out of the window of his car and made a call.

"James, I want full details on this girl . She works in a cafe downtown, Arianna. Do it fast ." This wasn't the first time Liam called a private investigator . Mostly the calls were made to find out about the girls Axel hangs out with . This one time the girl he hooked up and dumped after, turned out be chief of police's daughter . He was lucky she didn't say anything to his father . He started being more careful from there on , Better safe than sorry.

Two months went by and Liam nearly forgot that he had asked his PI to do a job , when he called him .

"Sir, I gathered complete information on the girl."

" Ohhh . You were still looking . Damn.... And here I thought you came under a bus and died ." His PI , James ,ignored his jab.

"File is ready. But, I need my payment tripled up ."

" You called me , 2 months later and ask for thrice the amount . How about this , You role up that file and shove it up your ass." Liam shouted.

"I have no interest shoving up anything that has your birth father's name on it ." Liam paled . Never has he ever even thought about finding his birth father. His mother never mentioned his name and Liam had no interest finding the man who abandoned his mother .

" 10 pm , You know where to meet ."

James, narrated everything to Liam . Yet he read the file 4 times . James was right to ask for that much money. Brandon Bell did a job hiding his trail to Arianna's parents. Liam wanted to hurt the girl before, But now he wanted to destroy her and the Bells . The man Julian, his birth father, was already in jail . Marion Bell's father did nothing to save his nephew .

Liam came up with a plan . And to do that , first he needed to set up a meeting with Brandon Bell.

The PI James, again found out about Brandon's daily schedule. Liam can't take a chance meeting Brandon officially and risk Matthew finding out .Today, Brandon's meeting was canceled. He was about to leave when Liam got to him.

"Five minuets of your time , Mr. Bell." He asked haughtily.

" If you need an appointment call my Secretary ." Brandon said in a clipped tone and turned to leave.

" Brianna would happy to see you become such a successful man ." That stopped him . Liam pulled a chair and sat . The restaurant staff came to take Liam out of the private room . But Brandon waved them off.

"I don't know .What you are talking about ." Brandon ,glowered at Liam.

" Age does that you , Mr. Bell. Come on take a seat . I'll refresh your memories ." Brandon sat ,his face red with anger.

"Brianna Morris , daughter of..." Liam began to say nonchalantly.

" Just come to the point . What do you want . Did Matthew send you , You're his son . Liam , right ..???."

" In the flesh .But I don't have time for introduction. I want to marry your daughter. Merge our companies for manufacturing of the Samson deal , That we will get, IF we merge and many more in the future . And we will live happily ever after ." He said. Like It were this simple .

" Bell corp. would never tie hands with you ." Liam released a frustrated sigh . Did the man really thought he were in any position to refuse his proposal .

" And why is that . There is a deal coming 4 months from now . Chances are 50/50 for both of us , If we merge in we can kill the competition . I am not even going to ask you to think about it . It's right there You are blin,d if you can't see it ."

" Your father would never agree. He hates my guts." He said . At least he is not refusing ,that's a progress.

" Leave that to me ."

For a week, Brandon didn't respond. Liam's patience was running low. The plan was simple , Merge the company together , Become the poster boy for the company. There is no way it will go wrong . Investors will come to them . The rising competition will die down . His father would see him as his potential heir . Liam knew , Matthew would take the right decision and will choose the most eligible one. But Blood is blood , Liam still felt insecure. His initial plan was to frame Axel for fraud in the books. Matthew will see Axel can't be trusted for big operations and when he will merge the companies. There will be no room for doubts , Knight Corp. would be his .

He will make Arianna's life hell. And ruin the Bell corp. from the inside . That would complete his revenge . Elizabeth, his mother is living a good life now. But he still remembers the pain he suffered in school and the jibes her mother received from other women before Matthew came in to their life.

Another week later, Brandon called but he had his own plans. Liam went to meet him in a private room of the restaurant. He didn't expect Marion and Jessica to accompany him .

Jessica gave him a sultry smile, that always makes her look weird and desperate. He has seen and heard many guys turn down her advances in clubs. That girl was an embarrassment, No guy wanted to give her a single night of their life, the ones who did ,lived to witness her stage five clingy behavior for months.

But now that he knows she is his second cousin. Since, Marion , her mother and Julian, his birth father were cousins too. It made him want to puke.

"Here is what going to happen. You will marry my daughter, Jessica not Arianna and we'll merge the company. Only then , 'We will live happily ever after '." Said Marion Bell, dealing with Brandon is easier, he can make good business deals but when it comes to showing courage that man lacks the necessary skills.

"I asked for Arianna's hand in marriage ." Liam said. He was Immoral, but not this low to marry his cousin to take his revenge.

" No , You asked for my daughter 's hand . Who is Jessica , and Since you already know about Brianna. I'm sure you know Arianna is not my daughter."

"What's the problem. We merging the company, right. Why are you so eager ." Liam was agitated now.

"And why are you so eager on marriage. We live in 21st century we don't need a marriage proposal to declare truce. We have lawyers." Liam was quiet , he should have seen it coming. After all , Marion married Brandon so she could use his expertise for the company and have an excuse of a husband.

" I tell you why , Liam. You want the position too. Which you will definitely get. So tell me why I would want to see Arianna stand beside you , when you sit on your father's place and take over the company." Marion said.

" Give me some time ." Liam said quietly.

" It's now or never , Liam . The only reason I agreed to come here is because Jessica has taken interest in you." Jessica Bell takes interest in every man that moves .

"I need the time to talk to my father." Liam finally said . He needs time to think things over .

"So is that a yes." Jessica squealed. Marion gave her a death stare. Brandon was sitting there as a statue. His ringmaster, Marion ,must have told him to stay quite and let her do the business .

Another vase hit the wall and shattered. There was nothing else left for Liam ,to break. Tables were turned upside down. All the lamps and vases were broken. Now Liam sat on the balcony with his hand holding his head pulling out his hair.

He planned everything. This was not supposed to happen. He saw all the possibilities. Who would have thought they want to marry their own daughter to him. He told them he was doing it to take down, Axel ,from his position. Who would marry off their own daughter to a shrewd man like him.

He had to think fast , If Matthew found out that he asked for a girl's hand in marriage then refused to marry her then he would... That's perfect .!

" You have 5 minutes ." This time Liam directly went to Marion. Brandon is just a face. It's Marion, who runs the show.

"I wanted this merge to benefit me and secure my position in the company . I can still do that."

" I'm listening ." Good.

"Ask Brandon to setup a meeting with my father to ask for Axel's hand in marriage with Arianna and of course the merger for that deal .The reason I'm not taking Jessica's name, is because she is older than Axel and Dad might refuse merely of the age difference. Also, word travels fast , It won't look good on Jessica that she was asked for Axel, then married me . But.... before you do that , tell Arianna that the deal is done and she has to marry Axel . When Axel will refuse he'll become a villain and I'll jump in and ask for Jessica's hand . Dad won't take it nicely ...." Marion knew it from experience. She won't let the history repeat for Jessica. Her daughter will not have a history of failed marriages or engagements. Liam hit the nerve on that one.

" One problem here. Arianna will not agree ."

" Make her. You sure know how to bait her." She does ,she will promise her the ownership for the cafe .

" What about my daughter.?" That again.

"I will marry her. After, I gain the position. Isn't that what you want. I know about your past Mrs. Bell. You're not gonna hand your daughter ,until I get that position ,right." The Bells wouldn't even know what hit them. Marion's stubbornness to sell Jessica to the highest bidder will be her downfall. He would reveal his true nature without even being engaged to her.
