*Bailey Wolf*

"Girl I love your house," Katie said and I chuckled holding Zita close to my chest as I stared at all the bikers standing in the living room but only one caught my attention. Deke or Butch as Uncle Blake told me he goes by now, was standing beside the couch staring at me. "Bails?"

"What...Oh, yeah," I said looking away from him and smiling at Katie. "It was my grandparent's house."

"There's my little Puppy," Uncle Blake said and I squealed when arms wrapped around me spinning me in a circle.

"Put me down before I drop Zita," I yelped tightening my arms around my daughter scared she was going to fall.

"Sorry," Uncle chuckled and placed me back on my feet and I huffed. "Can I hold her?"

"I..." I started to say but got cut off when he quickly pulled her out of my arms. "HEY!"

"Oh shush," he glared and I groaned before glancing at Katie and Diego's shocked faces but a second later they both started laughing when my baby Zita started screaming.

"Shush baby," I cooed taking my daughter back and rocking her trying to calm her down. "Mama's got you."

Zita's crying quieted down to soft whimpers and reach down into the diaper bag that was sitting at my feet and pulled out the wolf-themed paci and rested it against her lips before she latched onto it.

"She doesn't really like other people holding her," I said giving my uncle a small smile. "Has been like that since she was born."

"You were the same way after...Nevermind," Uncle smiled and I leaned up kissing his cheek. "I have to head to the compound but be sure to stop by tomorrow to see your aunts and cousins."

"I will," I chuckled watching him leave before turning on my heel and walking towards the stairs. "I'll be back in a moment."

"Mmh," Zita whined when I pushed the nursery door open and entered the room my Aunt Lily decorated.

"I know baby," I sighed laying her on the changing table and quickly changed her diaper and dressed her back in her onesie. "Its a change for the both of us, but it'll get better."

"Bailey," a voice said and I tensed recognizing the voice.

"Deke," I said offhandedly as I left Zita on the table to pull Zita's baby blanket out of the diaper bag and fix the crib so I could leave her in here for a little while. "What do you want?"

"I wanted to apologize for the death of your husband," he said.

"Deke," I sighed. "It happened and I don't want to think about it."

"Right," he said quietly and I turned around to walk back over to the table only to squeak when I saw that Zita was about to roll off the side. I went to run over but Deke beat me to her and he held her to his chest. "Easy little cub, you almost had a good tumbled."

I watched him hold her and couldn't help but think that it looked natural like it should have always been that way.
