"Axel?" I whispered into the cold air only to have silence follow.

Axel sat with his head up against the cold tile of his cell, his eyes were devoid of emotion. There was no excitement, sadness, resentment or hope in his eyes. The small light that trickled in from the very narrow window cast a light on his sickly face. His face was alarmingly pale and his normally soft lips were chapped do to dehydration. He couldn't seem to stop shaking and his breathing was labored. Sehun and his goons retreated once they took in Axel sickly appearance.

"Axel we have to get out of here." I whispered not even sure he could hear me over his harsh breathing.

"I got a plan." He grunted out as a response.

"Are you going to include me in this plan or are you going to escape by yourself," I replied as I gripped the cold bars. "You know with all your injuries."

"Don't worry you're included in this plan." He sighed.

"Can I know the plan, so I can help you?" I retorted as I took the space buns out of my hair so it could be fully committed to a knotted up bun. I can't wait to get out of here so I can take a nice long shower and deep condition my unruly hair.

"If you listen closely you can hear them talking just outside the door, when the talking cease it means they are changing shift. The shift change typically take a minute in a half, that'll be your window to evacuate." He grunted again as he pulled himself up so he was resting up against the wall.

"Ok just one minor problem, How do we get out of these cells?" I peered down the hallway, the limited amount of light that was streaking in allowed me to look at the dark and empty door.

"Just wait for one of the guards to come in here for their checkup then nab the keys from him."

"Just like that?" I frowned.

"Yeah it'll be easy." He said with a nonchalant tone.

"The last time I pick pocketed someone was when I was ten, I tried to take Bash candy bar. I was not successful and a candy bar barely makes noise, keys will surely make plenty of noise."

"Reign."

"I'll try but we're going to need a plan B." I replied as I slid down the cell bars to get adjusted on the cold floor my back was now facing him.

"You'll be fine." He replied with another grunt causing me to turn around.

With the small amount of light streaming in from the narrow window I was finally able to get a clear view of Axel. His face was sickly pale his blond hair which was normally in one of his buns was running free along his face. Wet strands remained touching his sickly skin. Signs of dehydration was evident on his lips, his tongue darted out of his mouth in an attempt to make his lips moist.

My heart clenched in my chest, he needs attention immediately. "I'll get us out of here."

He just remained silent, it seemed as if hours passed when truthfully it could've been a couple minutes before someone trickled in. I had been pacing back and forth trying to decide how I was going to snatch keys off whoever came in to check on us. The guy that graced us with his presence couldn't have been more than six foot six, he was extremely bulky and he walked with a sense of danger.

His unflinching dark eyes swept over Axel bruised body before heading in my direction. Slowly I began backing away from the metal bars, fear was coursing through my veins as he unlocked my cell gate.

Ok Reign, you got this. Just swipe the keys off of him.

Just swipe the keys off a man quadrupled your size, with big meaty arms that can squeeze the life out of you in a second. I really wish I would have taken more of Axel defense classes.

Focus Reign. Focus.

My eyes zeroed in on the keychain on his side, it looked as if it was clipped onto his side. I could approach this obstacle in many ways. I could bump into him and try to unlock the keys from his belt loop. I could also attempt to use my feminine charm on him or attack him from the back.

There is absolutely no way I could unhook the keys from his side without him knowing, I'm not advanced in the art of pickpocketing. I can't use my charm because no doubt my hair looks like a bird nest, my face is smudged with dirt and I probably smell like death. The only option was to attack the big stack of meat. He carefully eyed me as he walked pass to gather my piss bucket out the corner of the cell. It would've been so easy for me to dash out of my open cell door and head through the black door.

Logically it made sense, but it was also foolish. I have no idea what'll greet me on the other side of the door. For all I know he could've left the door open, hoping I would try to run so they could shoot me as soon as I pushed the black door open. No thank you! I stick to the plan. He was in the process of bending down to grab my bucket when I put my plan of action into use.

With as much force as possible I charged at him, he barely moved an inch that didn't stop me from unhooking his keys and tossing them in the direction of Axel cell. I didn't give myself time to see if the keys made it to him before I jumped onto his back and latched my nails into the skin on his face. My filthy nails dug into his skin. A gasp slipped out of throat as he slammed my back up against the cell wall. Immediately I dropped from his body, my hair was being tugged upward.

"You stupid bitch!" His sinister voice enveloped my ears like grapevines capturing its victims.

"Let her go!" Axel yelled to no avail.

His hand slammed across my face, snapping it back with the full blow of his brutal force. Black dots invaded my line of sight, I can feel the fresh cut from the ring he wore. He grabbed a hold of my neck and hoisted me up. I could hear Axel pleading my case but I couldn't focus on the words coming out of his mouth because I was losing consciousness. My hands tried to loosen his grip on my deprived of air neck to no avail. Before I could lose complete function on my limbs I stuck my thumbs into his angry eyes.

A growl slipped out of his throat as he released me to cradle his eyes.

"I'm going to kill you whore, but not before I take what's rightfully any mans." He growled as he stood with anger laced in his blood shedding eyes.

The big guy eyes immediately bugged out of his head as a tattooed arm wrapped around his fat throat. A strangled cry slithered out his throat as his fought to gather air into his lungs. His big meaty hands were trying to pull Axel arms off of his throat. This only caused Axel to apply more pressured. There was a far away look illuminated on Axel face it's almost as if Axel, my Axel was no longer there something else was taking over Axel.

The big guy face was turning a bright shade of green. In a matter of seconds the guy would pass out or die. This wasn't part of the plan they'll notice if one of their men is gone. They'll come looking for him, who knows what they'll do if they find him pass out or heaven forbid dead.

"Axel," I said as I cautiously approached him. His green eyes flickered towards me for a millisecond before returning to his task. "This isn't part of the plan."

"He has to die he wanted to ra—" He growled at the term that sat on his tongue with distate. This caused him to tighten his grip.

"I'm fine." I lightly touched his arm causing him to look at me.

When he turned to face me I got a full look into his eyes, the anger that was laced in them was slowly evaporating and turning back into his beautiful greens. His greens had pushed pass the cloud of darkness, he dropped his victim who was currently passed out—well—I hope he is passed out. He reached out for me and engulfed me into a hug. Somehow in his embrace the world around us seemed to fade out.

In its place was warmth, protection and a hint of reassurance. My body sagged against his as I wrapped my arms around his torso and clung onto him it felt as if we were making sure the other was still alive. I was about to bury my head in his chest when he pulled back. His arms were wrapped around my shoulders and my arms were wrapped around his waist. I looked up at him while he looked down at me. He connected our foreheads.

His fingers were playing with loose strands of my hair, I wanted to shut my eyes and bask in the feeling of gentleness he poured into me but the look in his eyes was enticing. It bore into like sun rays on a hot summer day. The gaze in his eyes had my stomach in a flutter as he leaned down and brushed his lips against my awaiting ones. A whimpered slipped out of my mouth as I begged him with my eyes for more.

"You have to go baby." I frowned at the statement his whispered upon my lips.

"What do you mean I have to leave? We have to leave, I'm not leaving without you." I retorted as I unfolded my arms from around his waist just so I could grab the sides of his shirt.

"You are and you will," He responded as he dropped his arms from my shoulders to covers my hands which were in a death grip. "I'll slow you down."

"I can just find us a car, I know how to hot wire a car."

"Reign," He spoke with an indifferent tone as he peeled my fingers off his shirt and opened my palm to hand me the set of keys I stole off the big man. "I'll distract them you go get help."

"You're not listening to me," I replied with a frustrated sigh. "I'm not leaving without you I love you!"

He frowned. "You love me?"

I slid my bottom lip into my mouth.

"Reign?"

"Yes I love you." I replied. "I know I'm not suppose to love you, we're not even suppose to be having this discussion while we're god knows where. But I love you and I'm not leaving without you.

"You're not leaving at all and neither is he," Sehun retorted as the sound of his crocodile shoes made his presence known. "Your families have been waiting to see you and I'm going to give them a livestream of your death."

Confession I kind of been holding this chapter hostage for a couple days because I rewritten this chapter THREE times and every time it seemed to get worst.

My deepest apologies for making you all wait a whole month for this chapter. January was crazy hectic for me I'm currently trying to process in the Army. I went to MEPS on the 30 and 31st of January and they found a lump on my breast so I couldn't sign my contract. I had to go to the Breast Care Center they said it's a high probability that it's Benign which is non cancerous but they recommended I come back in six months which is the problem. Now my recruiter has to figure out the next step so I can continue processing. I'm so ready to start my Army career

Anyways

Sorry for the EXTREMELY late update and I hope you enjoyed the chapter.
