Reign POV

"What is her problem? If anything I should be going off on her not the other way around!" I vented to Bash as he dragged me pass our section towards a door that said Authorized Access Only. "Where are we going?"

"Charlie want—"

"Bash you're not suppose to be talking to her, Do you think dad was playing when he said he would kill her?" I removed my arm from his grasp and placed my hands on each side of my velvet dress.

"I know I just, Reign I have to see her." His sharp teal eyes pleaded with me to understand.

"We don't know who we can trust, no doubt dad has one of the guards he sent with us watching our every move." I sighed as swept my eyes across the backstage area.

The cooks and caters were moving at a fast pace as they scattered across the kitchen to hurry and grab what they needed.

"Reign it'll only be for a minute."

"Look If you want to risk her life that's up to you."

"Sebastian?" Charlie questioned. Bash turned around giving me a view of Charlie.

She was wearing a black dress that was split between her chest and stopped just above her belly button. There was lace on the leg part of her dress giving the beautiful night dress a sensational look. Her chocolate colored hair was slicked back. The dark lipstick on her face turned upward as she smiled at Bash.

It was like the both of them were stuck in a trance, they were no longer aware of the presence of others around them as Charlie gripped both sides of her dress. She strutted across the tile floor and into Bash awaiting arms. They acted as if they hadn't seen each other in months when in reality it has been merely four days. Charlie had left four days ago, Bash wouldn't tell dad and I where she went.

This contributed to dad growing frustration and raging anger. I on the other hand just observed his body language and clearly was lying to dad but I remained silent wanting to not add to dad growing suspicion. They pulled away from each other and kissed which had me scrunching my face and looking anywhere but at them.

After they got done sucking faces, Charlie grabbed a hold of his hand and started pulling him to an unknown destination. I debated on whether or not to follow them for all I know she could be trying to have sex and that is something I'm not interested in hearing or seeing.

"Are you coming?" Bash said as soon as they were halfway across the crowded kitchen. Charlie face scrunched up as he halted them so he could converse with me. Why do women seem to have a problem with me? First Hope now Charlie you would think I was the two faced traitor instead of the other way around.

I grabbed a hold of my velvet dress so it wouldn't land in the recently dropped water so I could follow behind them as they proceeded on their journey.

"Wait right here." Charlie said as she went to open a door after we got out of the kitchen and walked down a long hallway.

I scowled at her, I'll wait outside doesn't mean I won't eavesdrop on their conversation. I gave them a sarcastic smile before pretending like the walls in the hallway was interesting. Once they disappeared into the room I waited for a couple minutes before slowly opening the door so I could eavesdrop.

"We have to go Seb it's the only way." Charlie voice travel through the room and the creek in the doorway and right into my awaiting ear.

"I wouldn't put it pass my father to put a hit out on us if we decided to run away," My eyebrows dropped in a frown at Bash words. "He'd never stop looking for us until we're dead. Not to mention from what I heard of Sehun he wouldn't even blink if killing us meant keeping his secrets, secret."

"I can talk to Seh—"

"How are you going to explain Jensen death to Sehun? I killed him there is no way he'll let me live happily ever after."

"We'll just tell him Gunnar killed Jensen that way he'll be too focus on trying to take down Dark Howlers. He'll leave the Sons alone, Reign will be safe think about it Seb." Charlie pleaded.

I don't know what to think, my brain is spinning in circles I was getting ready to reveal myself when a hand clamped over my mouth.

"Don't say anything, don't do anything ." A deep voice growled into my ear.

I was completely frozen, my fear was blocking my other senses the only sense I was aware of in that moment is touch. My eyes widen and I could only imagine my pupils dilating. My heart was racing and my brain felt as if it was on fire. As soon as my brain was willing to cooperate I sprung into action. I slammed my head into his and jammed my elbow towards his rib cage. Once I was free I turned around and positioned myself in a defensive stance.

Upon turning around I stared at Axel F—ing Taylor. He was holding his now bloody nose, it's a good thing he was wearing all black.

"Damn girl." Axel said as he pulled a white cloth out his suit pocket.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" I whispered as I headed toward the room Bash and Charlie was in and quietly shut the door.

"Why are you whispering?" He said in his normal enticing voice.

"Why are you following me?" I retorted as I assessed him.

He was wearing black suit pants, a black button up shirt with suspenders. His rich blonde locks looks tousled and gave off a messy type of look. His eyebrows were clutched together as he looked at the door directly behind me. His deep and alluring eyes turned towards me a charming smirk slid across his marvelous face. Almost instantly his arm wrapped around my waist and quick as lighting he had me away from the door and placed on the wall.

His scent invaded my sense, the intriguing mix of peppermint and sage had me shutting my eyes in bliss. He angled his head towards my ear, a slight brush of his lips had my heart speeding up. A tiny gasp left my mouth at the mouth watering sensation coming from his mere touch. His warm lips touched my freshly bathe skin causing an instant amount of warmth to cater to my insides. When he pulled away it took me a moment to meet his beautiful eyes.

A bright smile had his lime green eyes crinkling at the ends. There was a crackling in the air that always seemed to grace us with it's presence whenever we are near one another.

"Axel." I whispered as I stared at him through my lashes.

A dark look lurked in his eyes, maybe it was the way I said his name or the way our bodies were touching. Whatever it was an intense look of lust flickered in his unwavering eyes. He leaned down and placed his forehead on mine. Our height difference wasn't extreme I'm about five foot eight so he has to be be at least six foot four. Immediately my hands moved to hold his head, a sizzling sensation flowed through me at the new scent on his tongue.

The smell of strawberry alcohol lingered on his tongue and I was craving a taste.

"VP we have a problem."

Slowly I dropped my hands from his face to grip his button up shirt.

"It can wait." Axel responded as he placed one hand in my curls.

"I'm afraid it can't, Hope passed out and a couple others at the party has passed out as well." One of Axel goons retorted causing Axel to immediately drop his hand from my hair. My heart dropped at the disconnection.

"What do you mean?" Axel replied as he released my hands from his shirt. Once my hands were disconnected from his shirt he intertwined our hands. I was unsure if I should be ecstatic that our hands fit so perfectly together or upset because our hands fit together. While I was having my inner debate Axel somehow managed to walk us out of the hallway, pass the kitchen staff, and into Mr. Li annual ball.

"Oh my god." I gasped at the sight in front of me.

An array of bodies were lying on the ground in distress. Broken glass lay by some peoples head with either red or green liquid slowly trailing next to their faces.

"Axel!" I exclaimed as he swayed on his feet. "Axel? What's wrong? What's going on?"

He rapidly dropped on one knee, his hand slipped out of my giving him better access to what I'm guessing is his pounding head. Frantically I went around him so I could drop down in front of him.

"What's going on I don't understand?" I repeated.

"My head." He replied through clenched teeth.

My vision was suddenly impaired as the lights shut off surrounding us in darkness.

"Ms. Morrow come on we have to go!" The guy who came and got Axel and me grabbed a hold of my arm.

"But Axel..." I trailed off at the invasive multiple blue lights flooding into the room.

I couldn't breathe, it felt as if someone was cutting off my oxygen with their hands. My brain was shutting down and my hands were becoming clammy. My brown eyes widen, adjusting to the lights turning back on. My eyes began to water as I felt hot breath on the back of my neck. The pounding of my heart couldn't compare to the fear taking over the rest of my body which was going at a substantially slower pace.

I tried to gather air into my lungs but I was too far along in panic mode. Axel and his goon was of no use, the goon had run away and Axel could no longer function on anything but the pounding in his head. I didn't want to turn, I don't want to know what—whose—behind me. The deeper I crawled into my fear the harder it made it to come out of this funk I found myself in.

A paralyzing grip on my neck caused me to fall backwards. Every thinkable action could lead to an immense amount of pain. I brought my hands up to try and loosen my assailant rough grasp but I was fighting a lost cause. A white cloth wrapped across my mouth and nose. I attempted to hold my breath so I wouldn't breathe in the toxic, but sense my fear kept me from being able to gather air before I was grabbed I summited to the intrusion.

Darkness a waited me with welcoming arms.

When I came to a bag was being ripped off my head and water was being thrown on my face. His face sparkled a deep fear at first I thought. How could this be possible he's dead? I watched him die. Then an inclining sizzled in my gut as I analyzed his face in it's entirety.

Pale skin, square head, unmistakably cold charcoal eyes that were inside narrow lids kneeled in front of me. His hands gripped my hair as he stood up he yanked my head backwards so we could meet eye to eye.

"Reign." His voice was masculine and icy as he spat out my name like he was peeling gum off the bottom of his shoe.

"Sehun." I stared up at him with liquid pouring out my eyes.
