Fantasy/Sleeping Beauty AU/I don't know/I need a coffee

Shu's POV

I have a crush on Free De La Hoya, the prince of the Golden Kingdom.  Whenever I'm around him my heartbeats accelerate, and I become a blushing mess. Thinking about him with me, makes me feel emotions I've never felt before. I want Free to be mine. 

But no, someone as poweful and amazing as him would never like me.  I was engaged to a princess my age named Kristina Kuroda. She was the princess of the Azure Kingdom, and cousin to my crush, Prince De La Hoya of the Golden Kingdom.  They both got along very well, and they were both fiercely protective of each other. 

Now Princess Kuroda was in my castle, along with Prince De La Hoya. There was a lot of awkward tension. My mother sensed this and tried to break the ice. Her efforts were in vain, though we all tried to keep up polite conversation. 

"Prince Kuerani, would you step outside with me for a moment?" Princess Kuroda asked. 

"Of course." I said, rather devoid of emotion. 

I felt Prince De La Hoya glaring at Kris and I as we exited the castle. 

"Prince Kuerani-"

"Please call me Shu."

"Alright Shu, I don't feel any romantic attraction to you, and I'm guessing you don't feel any romantic attraction to me. Why drag this out further?"

She was right, as usual. There was no point in dragging out what was only going to be a fake relationship. 

"Yes I agree. Let's end this Princess Kuroda."

"Call me Kris, please."

"Alright Kris."

We walked back inside with a mutual understanding. Kris sat down next to her cousin, and seemingly told him the news. He looked at me and nodded, a small smile on his face. 

They both exited the building. Suddenly I felt drowsy, and I didn't have the energy to stand. I looked up and saw a man with shiny white hair, and peculiar taste in clothing. 

"Haha yes! Next is Prince Aoi! Once I destroy you two legends, I can finally satisfy Lord Phoenix." He exclaimed. 

I summoned my axe, but I was unable to grip it. It fell to the ground with a loud thud. I had to save Valt. He was my best friend. 

"Sleep." He said, and the world faded to black.

Free's POV

Something wasn't right. I sent Kris to go home early when I felt dark magic being cast. As I was running to where Shu was, I heard a loud thud. 

Oh no, what if something happened. I love Shu ever since I first met him. No no no he can't be dead.

I finally found Shu. He was on the ground, and his eyes were closed. I cast a spell on him, and found out he was hit by a powerful spell. His heart was still beating, and he was breathing. It looked like he was sleeping. 

The kiss of the person you love had magical healing properties. Even more so if the person you love is a Prince or Princess. But I had no idea if Shu loved anyone at all. If so I had no idea who he would like. I cast a spell to try and purge the other spell from him, but it was no good. I managed to wake him up a little bit. 

"V-Valt." Shu said, somewhat smiling as he went back to the enchanted sleep. 

I was suddenly overcome with sadness, rage, and jealousy. Whoever this Valt person was more important to Shu than I am. Probably more than I'll ever be. I picked up Shu and held him bridal style. I teleported us to this Valt person. 

That Valt person was Prince Valt Aoi of Beigoma Kingdom, one of my few friends. He was strong, yet a nice and caring prince with many friends. 

"FREEEE! OH NO WHAT HAPPENED TO SHU?" 

There he was. Hyper as usual. 

"He got hit with a pretty powerful spell."

"Oh yeah just so you know, Shu like likes you!" Valt said in a weird tone of voice.

He teleported us both to Shu's room I think. I placed Shu on a chair. 

Wait so that means, I have to kiss him?! 

I was blushing madly. I leaned in and gave Shu a slight peck on the lip. Sure enough, the albino male woke up. 

"Eh how did I get here? Fr-"

I kissed him on the lips, unable to contain my joy. Shu leaned into the kiss. 

"Be mine." I said as emotionless as I could manage. 

"Always!" Shu said blushing. 

Shu was without a doubt adorable. And he was mine.  

"I love you!"
