"Your turn?" I squeak out.

Killian chuckles lowly, pressing his lips slightly above my Claiming spot, making me shiver. "Bite for a bite. Seems fair to me, darling."

"You're going to Mark me?" I ask breathlessly.

"Yes."

I squeeze my eyes shut tightly, waiting for the pain of the bite.

A few moments go by, and nothing happens as Killian's mouth hovers over my neck.

"Well?" I prompt.

"Well, what?" Killian sounds amused.

"What are you waiting for?" I ask, annoyed.

"Beg."

"What?"

"I want you to beg for it."

My eyes snap open to meet Killian's, which are completely black and filled with mischief.

"You're kidding," I say as I narrow my eyes at him.

"Absolutely not," Killian says, ruffling my hair, the corners of his mouth tugging upwards. "You teased me for months, denied your feelings for me, bit my claiming spot and then still denied your feelings for me, and just a few minutes ago, declined to be my Luna. I want to hear you beg."

"That's ridiculous," I huff.

He doesn't respond with words, instead, kissing around my Claiming spot. It was almost more infuriating than if he kissed on it, like a scratch that just barely missed the itch.

I bite my lip to stop from making any sounds, refusing to give into the maddening Alpha I'm still not sure if I hate or love.

"You know," Killian says, his voice husky, in between soft kisses, and I fight back a shudder. "I was insanely close to Marking you that one day in the training center."

Of course I know that. It was our first blowout fight.

Finally, Killian kisses my Claiming spot, and I squirm underneath him, but he easily pins my wrists with one of his hands, using the other to hold down my shoulder.

"Had to stay away from you for days because I was constantly on the verge of Marking you," he continues lowly.

"And of course, I tried making you jealous with the vampire to get you to admit your feelings," He chuckles slightly, not done with his assault on my neck. "But imagine my shock when instead of admitting her true feelings, my little Seer bit me."

Suddenly, he opens his mouth slightly on my skin and sucks my Claiming spot, and I gasp, my back arching towards him out of reflex.

"You have no idea how hard it was not to claim you then and there," He snarls, and begins a combination attack of kisses, licks, and hickeys on my neck. I squirm as much as I can underneath him, breathing shallowly as I squeeze my eyes shut.

"Or how hard it was not to claim you every since morning I woke up next to you," He continues. "You make me fucking angry, Katrina."

His touches get rougher, but it only heightens my arousal, nature dictating that she-wolves are attracted to strength, and Killian is pure power. I can't help a moan that slips out.

"Beg," he orders lowly.

"Please," I gasp, wrapping my arms around his neck and tugging his hair.

"Please, what?" He taunts, and I feel his smirk in between his kisses.

"Please Mark me," I whimper, not caring how pathetic I sound. Since rejecting Leo, my wolf has been furious with me, not bothering to surface much, but now, I couldn't control it as my claws sink into Killian's back.

"Such good manners," Killian coos. "Maybe you'll remember them in the future, though I doubt it."

I snarl in frustration, and Killian chuckles.

"I love you," he whispers, placing a gently kiss on my Claiming spot.

And his teeth sink into my throat.

I scream, but it's cut off as his teeth go deeper, cutting off my windpipe. Pain floods my neck and tears immediately fill my eyes, and I thrash underneath Killian, who keeps me pinned.

Finally, the pain is replaced with a more pleasurable feeling, and my cries of pain cease.

After a few more moments, Killian pulls his canines out of my throat, leaving me panting.

"I'm sorry, darling," Killian says softly, pulling me into his arms and wiping my tears. "I promise, that's the only time I'll ever hurt you."

Suddenly, everything hits me at once.

I can feel all of the wolves in the pack connected to me, and most of all, Killian. Not only from the mating bond, but because he is technically my Alpha.

I could sense his power, his strength, his love.

"All of it is yours," He whispers, kissing my forehead. "All for you, Katrina."

His kiss sent a shock through my skin, so intense I flinch.

"Mating bond," He confirms. "Tomorrow, you can Mark me."

"Now," I mumble, but I'm so tired, my eyes start fluttering closed.

Killian chuckles. "Afraid not, my dear. Sleep tight, I'll see you in a few days."

I want to ask what he's talking about, but once his hand starts stroking my hair, I instantly fall asleep.

****

When I blink my eyes open, I instantly groan, my hand going to my stiff neck.

"That'll hurt for a little longer," Killian says from underneath me, and puts his hand on my chin and tilts it up, looking at my neck. His chest rumbles, pleased with his Mark, and his eyes darken.

I wonder how long I was sleeping for.

Killian says, "Six days. An Alpha's Mark affects unranked wolves more severely."

I look at him in confusion. "How did you-"

My eyes narrow, and I block him out of my head, my Sight finally being helpful for once and showing me how.

"Dammit, I knew I shouldn't have made it obvious I could read your mind," Killian laughs, unbothered by the lockout.

"That's not funny." I roll my eyes.

"Is too," He retorts.

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

Sick of arguing with him, I just sink my teeth into his Claiming spot without warning, drinking some of his blood in the process.

When I pull away, I'm pleased to see that Killian is panting slightly, his eyes dark.

"Any chance you'll pass out for a week?" I ask hopefully.

"No dice, little mate, but I appreciate your eagerness to get away from me so soon after Marking me," Killian rolls his eyes, but smiles, and I can feel his happiness through the bond.

Our bond.

Because I can, I kiss Killian.

Things begin to heat up, but before they can go further, Killian pulls away, and I scowl.

"Don't scowl at your Alpha," Killian says, flicking my nose, which makes me scowl more, and makes him laugh in turn.

"I think our circulus will stage a coup if I keep you to myself any longer," Killian says bemusedly. "They miss their Luna."

I cringe at the word. "Should I be worried about someone challenging me?" I didn't See anyone with plans to do that, but my Sight was much more controlled than it used to be.

Killian's jaw clenches. "Nobody is going to challenge you because they know I would slaughter them."

I roll my eyes again. "That's against Pack Laws."

Killian's chuckle is dark, dangerous, and if my wolf didn't recognize him as my mate now, I probably would have submitted involuntarily.

"I've told you a million times," he says, his rage ebbing slightly as he kisses my forehead. "I have no morals when it comes to you. Besides, even if I did break Pack Laws, nobody can kill me."

I roll my eyes again. "Such an immoral Alpha."

"Your immoral Alpha," He says, his eyes lightening slightly. "Now, let's go take our first shower together as mates."

****

"I'm just saying, we could have saved water," Killian pouts as I put on my shoes.

"You're immoral, you don't care about the environment," I tease.

"No, but I would like seeing you naked," he says, teleporting in front of me and nipping at my ear, making me laugh and shove him away.

Killian's arm suddenly sweeps under my knees, and I yelp as I fall backwards, where his other arm is waiting, and he pulls me towards his chest.

I scowl, hitting his shoulder. "Set me down."

"One," Killian begins, and I sigh, already know he's going to go off on an annoying tangent. "You can't give me orders, I outrank you."

I snort at this, but Killian just smiles in amusement and flicks my nose again.

"Two," he continues. "Stop scowling so much, you're mated to the hottest guy on the continent. You have nothing to be annoyed about."

This, of course, makes me scowl.

"Finally," Killian closes his argument, "I rather like carrying you like this, and so does my wolf. The Blood Alpha may be on to something after all."

At that remark, I can't help but laugh, Knowing that Ares and Cain still have arguments over the carrying thing occasionally.

My laughter cuts off when my Sight begins.

"My phone is about to ring," I mutter, struggling out of Killian's arms until he sets me on the ground begrudgingly.

I go to the nightstand drawer, pulling out my phone, and wait for it to ring.

"Who is it going to be?" Killian asks curiously, and I suppress a smile when I can feel traces of jealousy through the bond.

"My other boyfriend," I tease, and he rolls his eyes. "I don't know, actually." I frown, concerned. I had to get used to this new Sight, which was much more tame and less intense.

I definitely have to read the rest of the book.

I jump when my phone rings, even though I knew it was coming, but exhale in relief when I read the Caller ID.

"Hey, Gwen," I say, and Killian relaxes slightly.

I smoothed things over with her a week ago, when I thought I had to before I died. She called me, frantic because Killian had teleported into Blue Moon trying to find me, and was worried something happened. I just told her that I'm fine and not to worry about it, and she backed off, apologizing profusely for our last phone call, and we ended on a good note.

Gwen now cries hysterically, and I can't figure out what she's saying.

"Gwen, I can't understand you," I say calmly. "What's wrong?"

She takes a shaky breath.

"Leo is missing."
