I leaned up and placed my leg over Dan so I was straddling him. I slowly ran my hands through his hair and round the back of his neck. Dan’s arms slid very slowly around my waist and were now stroking my hips gently. His eyes watching me intently...waiting on my answer. I smiled at him before lightly kissing his perfect pink lips “I’d love to.”

The biggest smile appeared on his face before he crushed his lips against mine. He pulled away before placing a light kiss on my forehead.

“So we really doing this then?” he beamed, his fingers still lightly stroking my hips

“Yea, if you still want to?” I giggle stroking behind his ear just the way he likes it

“Of course. I can’t wait to live with you.”

“Dan we live together now.” I laugh at him

“Yes I know...but just us two. I can’t wait to have you to myself.”

“Yea I know, I can’t wait either.”

“Shall we get looking later then?”

“Why can’t we start looking now?” I asked curious.

“Because I said we werent leaving this room until we were hungry...”

“Soooo?” I reply

“Well I’m not hungry yet and I know another way to spend my morning off with my girl” he grinned, “House hunting can be after lunch”

“And what would this other way of spending your morning be?”

“Well...let’s see.” He smirked tugging my top over my head very quickly making my laugh “It involves you being naked.”

“‘Oh really?” I ask tugging at his boxers

“‘Yea and would you believe I have to be naked as well?” he laughs sliding down my knickers

“Oh right.” I grin throwing his boxers onto the floor “So like this then?”

“Yea...”

“What happens next?” I ask as he begins kissing down my neck

“This...” he grins looking up at me before flipping me over so he was leaning on top of me under our quilt.

“Oh I like this.” I smile wrapping my arms around his neck pulling him close to me.

“Yea...me too.” He smirked before pushing his lips onto mine as his hand slips in between my legs.

“Fuck Dan.” I moaned arching my back as he continued, his lips attacking my neck with kisses as I attempted to grab the bedding underneath me. My eyes shutting and my arms pulling him closer to me as I felt myself reaching closer to climax. My heart beat was pounding so hard against my ribcage, and I could feel beads of sweat sliding down my neck and down my chest. As Dan’s lips began to descend down my body my breathing became more erratic. His mouth soon replaced where his hand was and my moaning got louder.

“Sh , they’ll hear us.” Dan laughed looking up at me

“Don’t fucking stop.” I gasped looking at him.

Not long later Dan began kissing up my body and “ crushed my lips onto his. “Thank you.” I cheekily grin at him and he just winks at me before kissing me passionately. We roll over so im lay on top of him and begin kissing down his body to return the favour. I glance up to see Dan’s eyes closed and him biting down on his bottom lip. I began pleasuring him and his fingers began running though my hair.

*knock knock*

“Guys...” I heard Luke shout

“Fuck off Luke we’re busy.” Dan gasped

“We know...we can hear you.” I heard him laugh causing me to giggle. I pulled away slightly laughing at Dan.

“Ah ah, you’re not stopping either.” He winked at me, I rolled my eyes grinning at him before returning to what I was doing.

“Fuck yes .” Dan moaned

“Shut the fuck up guys.” Luke shouted whilst laughing before I heard music being played downstairs. Soon enough I was kissing back up his body before quickly getting rolled over.

“Think we should compete against the music?” I giggled as Dan attacked my neck and chest with kisses

“Fuck yes.” He grinned re-positing himself before pushing himself into me.

“FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK.” I moaned very loudly causing us to giggle. Before long we were too involved in one another to even think of anyone else.

“I love you so much .” Dan whispered against my lips

“I love you more Dan.” I smiled before pulling him closer to me and kissing him.

A while later I climbed off Dan and collapsed on the bed next to him. I re-positioned myself so that I was now cuddled up into his side as his arms wrapped around me.

It was silent for a couple of minutes, all you could hear was our heavy breathing and our heartbeats pounding against our chests.

“I can’t wait to do this is every room of our new place.” Dan laughed

I looked up at him and smiled, “I like the sound of that.”

“And no interruptions or people telling us to be quiet.”

“Ahh yes, that as well. Unless we get shit neighbours.”

“Na we won’t.” I smile placing my head down on his chest and drawing invisible shapes on it. A while later we got dressed and made our way down to the kitchen, at the same time both our stomach growled whilst we were cuddled up in bed. So we thought perfect time for food and then continue our lazy day off upstairs in bed and possibly another cheeky session afterwards.

“What you fancy for dinner ?” Dan asked as he opened up the cupboards looking at what we had in.

“Erm...I could make us an omelette if you fancy one?”

“Na, that’s not filling enough.” He replied rummaging through the food

“Nandos then?” I ask and his head whipped round with a grin on it

“Oh yes.”

“You order, I’ll go ask Evie and Luke if they want anything as well.” I reply before making my way out of the kitchen

“You guys want Nandos? Dan’s about to order for us.”

“Ooo yea please , I’m starving.” Evie smiled and Luke nodded as well.

“Dan order there’s as well.” I shout though as he replied okay.

Friends was on the TV, so I grabbed my blanket from the back of the sofa and wrapped it round me snuggling up waiting for Dan to come through. I glanced over to Evie who I noticed was watching me.

“What?” I laugh nervously at her

“You don’t realise how loud you were before.” She laughed and I dropped my head blushing terribly

“Sorry.” I laugh

“Good job my mum and dad had left hey.” Luke laughed

“What?” I gasp at him

“Yea they popped round this morning. They literally left five minutes before you two started.”

“Oh my god.” I laugh “I’d never be able to look at them again if they had heard us.”

“Who heard us?” Dan laughed walking in with a tray full of drinks placing them on the table before sitting down next to me and pulling me in close.

“My mum and dad.” Luke laughed

“Shut up...they heard us before?” Dan asked

“Na, luckily.” I laughed. “They left just before though. Close call.”

“You don’t care that we heard it all then?” Evie asked

“Na, we’ve heard you two enough times.” Dan replied and I nodded

“Suppose.” They both laughed.

We chilled together just chatting away about everything before our food came.

“Oh my god, I almost forgot to tell you.” I smiled placing my knife and fork down

“What?” Evie asked popping another chip in her mouth

“Me and Dan are moving in together.”

“Huh? You already live together.” Luke laughed drinking his drink

“Yea we know, but like our own place.” Dan continued. “You’ve got the baby on the way and we don’t want to intrude on you being a family. So I asked Liv this morning if she wanted us to get our own place together and she said yes.”

“Oh wow guys. That’s great.” Evie grinned at us, “You’s realise you don’t have to move out though yea?”

“Yea we know. But we want a new fresh start for us.”

“Okay .” Evie smiled, “It’s going to be so weird not living with you. We have done all our lives.”

“I know...but we’ll be close by.”

“You’d better. I need you with me when I go into labour.” She laughed

“Ahh true.” I grinned before taking another bite out of my chicken breast in pitta bread.

As expected, after we ate me and Dan went back up to my room and chilled watching a movie. To be fair it had been the perfect day off, just what I needed. Work had been so stressful lately so it was nice to just spend some time with my boy and relax.

I woke up the next morning in a bad mood. I really didn’t want to go into work, it was so cold out and my bed was too warm...I just didn’t want to leave it. This is one of the reasons I dislike winter...the fucking cold. Takes the piss.

Eventually I got out of bed and jumped in the nice hot shower. Doing what I needed to do before getting out and wrapping a towel around me. I got changed into my uniform before going up to Dan’s room to dry my hair in there, didn’t want to wake Dan up doing it in my room.

I came back down, before doing my make-up and tying up my hair into a high ponytail and a quiff at the front. I made my way over to Dan who was still sleeping.

“Baby im off to work now.” I whispered in his ear causing him to stir and wake up.

His eyes groggily opened before adjusting to the light and me in front of him. He yawned and stretched making me laugh, he looked like such a kid when he did this.

“Ahh okay, what time you home?”

“About five-ish but don’t hold me to it. My boss is being a right bitch at the moment.”

“Okay , well I’ll have a surprise waiting for you when you get home.”

“Oooo I can’t wait.” I smile kissing his lips softly before getting up off the bed and slipping my heels on by the door.

“See you later.” I whisper

“Yea, you too . Love you.” Dan replied

“Love you too.”

I shut my door before walking downstairs and grabbing an apple and a bottle of water out the kitchen.

“Liv you got post.” Evie says to me as I head for the door.

“Ahh cheers. See ya later.” I smile grabbing a couple of letters off her before walking out the house and out to my car.

I opened the first...bank statement...boring. Then the next, phone bill...boring. The next one was from my doctor.

I wrote you a letter approximately five to six weeks ago about you needing to book an appointment immediately for you contraceptive injection. As I haven’t heard from you and you haven’t booked an appointment as of yet so I have wrote to you again.

I read the letter sat in my car gobsmacked. I haven’t been protected for about six weeks...and me and Dan never use condoms.

I threw my letter into my bag before starting up my car. The last thing I needed was being late for work and giving my boss another reason to have a go at me. Eventually making my way through traffic I arrive at work, my mind completely off task. All I could think about was that letter my nurse had sent me. All day I was distracted and my boss noticed, just giving her another opportunity to shit on me and give me even more work to do.

Today had to be my worst day in work, I just wanted it to be over but it just dragged, every time I glanced at the clock it didnt seem to move.

Lunch came but I never left my office, I just wasn’t hungry.

“Liv you getting food?” Jen my colleague asked me

“Na, I’m not hungry.”

“You need to get some food.”

“Ahh okay.” I sigh getting up and grabbing my bag, following her out of the office and down to the shop.

“I just need to pop into boots.” I shout at Jen as she crosses the road to grab a sandwich.

“Okay, i’ll get you your usual yea?” she replied

“Thanks.”

I had no intention of eating, my stomach was in knots. I needed to know if I was pregnant or not. I didn’t have any symptoms but then again I wouldn’t know considering I wasn’t following my period.

I stood for ages just aimlessly staring at row upon row of pregnancy tests. Picking up a few and reading what they had to say.

“Can I help you?” a female staff asked me

I looked at her and nodded. She must have seen the panic look on my face as she placed a hand on my shoulder supportively.

“Okay darling, what are you looking for?”

“I think I might be pregnant, but I don’t know.”

“Is you period late?” she asked me in a quieter tone

“I don’t know. I’m usually on the contraceptive jab you know but I missed my last appointment so me and my boyfriend have been unprotected for about six, seven weeks.”

“Okay then , have you have any other symptoms? Food cravings? Stomach cramps? Feeling sick or tired?”

“Erm, I err I duno. Sorry I’m not much use. This is just a big shock.”

“Okay don’t worry. I think just to be on the safe side and put your mind at ease you should take a test.”

“Okay...but which one?” I ask looking back at what seemed like thousands of different makes and brands staring at me.

“I recommend this one.” She smiled passing me a clear blue pregnancy test. “It’s a little more expensive that a couple of the other brands but it will give you a very accurate result.”

“Okay thank you.” I smile picking up another one

“I’ll take two just in case.”

“Good idea.” She smiled and took them over to the till. I paid her before placing them into my hand bag. “Thank you.” I smile

“No problem. Hope you get the result you’re hoping for.”

“Yea...cheers.” I reply walking out of the shop.

What was the result I wanted? Me and Dan had just got sorted, we were good. I’d finally gotten over losing our baby and now with the possibility of pregnant again...I don’t know if I could cope.

I wandered out of the shop in a daze.

“There you are. I wondered what was taking you so long.”

“Huh? Oh yea sorry...erm big queue.” I say walking back towards our office. We get to our canteen and Jen passes me my ham, turkey, bacon and melted cheese baguette. Just the smell of it made me gag. I ran to the toilets in time to throw my guts up a couple of times.

“ are you okay?” I heard Jen ask knocking on the cubical door.

“Yea im fine. Just not feeling very well.” I reply flushing the chain and opening the door.

“These have something to do with it?” she asks holding up the two pregnancy tests.

“I was looking for your water to bring to you and I found these. Is everything okay?”

“I don’t know. My nurse sent me a letter this morning telling me I was six weeks late on getting my contraceptive jab, so all morning I’ve been worried. Me and Dan never use condoms as I’m protected, well I normally am. I’ve not had any symptoms of being pregnant but when I smelt that baguette then it just turned my stomach, but I don’t know if that’s mind over matter.” I sighed leaning against the radiator for warmth.

“Only one way to find out .” She replies passing me both tests.

I nodded and walked into the cubical doing what I needed to do. I came out minutes later placing them on the side unit by the sink.

“Do you want to be pregnant?” she asked me and I shrugged

“A lot has happened with me and Dan lately. We’ve just gotten over losing our other baby, I don’t know if I’m ready. I’m so scared.”

“ everything is going to be okay, okay.” Jen sighed pulling me into a supportive hug

“Thank you.” I replied

Five minutes had passed and I walked over to the sinks to see what mine and Dan’s fate was.

“What do they say ?” Jen asks as I pick them both up

“Erm...” I whisper

“?”

“Positive and negative.”

“What?”

“Yea.” I sigh and put them into my handbag.

“‘So are you or not?”

“I have no idea. I’m just going to leave it for now and speak to Dan later. Lisa will kill us if we’re late off lunch.”

“But you’ve not eaten.”

“I’ve lost my appetite.” I reply grabbing my bag and heading back to my desk.

Eventually finishing for the day, I switched off my computer, filed everything away and locked everything up. Lisa had noticed I wasn’t on full concentration mode today and used this to punish me with extra work.

“Oh Liv.” Lisa shouted as I was about to head towards the lifts.

“Yes Lisa.” I sighed heading into her office

“Don’t forget next weekend, I need you here.”

“But I can’t...my sister is getting married, I booked it off months ago.”

“Tough, I need you here.” She smirked

“Well I won’t be here.”

“Well I guess you should clean out your desk.”

“You can’t just fire me because I can’t come in next weekend. That’s unfair dismissal.”

“Of course I can, I’m your boss.” She shouted at me.

“And I’m your boss Lisa and I won’t be having you talk to your staff like that.” Jim bellowed walking into the office. He was the chief of the company.

“Thank you Mr Kemp.” I smile at him

“Enjoy your sisters wedding,”

“I will, thanks again.”

“Oh Liv, don’t forget about that report I need by Monday morning.”

I sighed and nodded before I walked out of the office block. That woman was grinding my bones into the dust. I hated her.

I got to my car and pulled out the letter again, re-reading it for what felt like the millionth time then pulling out my pregnancy tests.

Looking at them one by one, positive...negative. Trying to imagine how I would feel if I had only bought one test not two. Would I be pregnant or not?

I placed them back into my bag and drove home, heading down the back streets to avoid all the work traffic and home time rush.

I pulled up on the drive and got out the car heading for the front door. Once inside I took my shoes off, placing them on the rack and hanging my coat up.

“Baby that you?” I heard Dan shout

“Yea” I replied taking my bag over to the sofa with me where I collapsed.

“You have a good day ?” Dan asked sitting down in front of me stroking his hand over my cheek and through my hair.

“Not particularly. It’s been better.”

“What’s wrong?”

“Huh? Nothing.”

“Something is bothering you. I can tell.”

“Na, it’s nothing. Just work.” I lied and he nodded

“I know you’re lying...I’ll get it out of you later.” He laughed and I smiled slightly, “First your surprise.”

“Dan I’m not in the mood for surprises.” I say to him

“But you’ll like this...it’s for this tomorrow.”

“You’re kidding right?” I say sitting up and looking at him.

“Errr no.” He replied sitting down next to me, pulling out two tickets to watch The Lion King at the Westend and hotel tickets.

“Dan we can’t go.”

“Why not?”

“Because it’s Evie and Luke’s wedding on Saturday, we can’t just take the couple of days before it off.”

“I doubt your boss would mind. I just assumed you’d want to come with me...you know...you did last time.”

“Yea but I wasn’t in work then and of course she’d bloody mind.” I reply, my voice getting louder.

“Well I’ve booked them now. What the hell am I meant to do with them?”

“I don’t give a shit. Ahhh for fucks sake Dan, you can’t just assume all the fucking time.” I scream at him

“I never. I don’t all the time. Just now.”
