*Evie’s POV*

I woke up the next morning and the first thing I did was check my phone to see if Liv has replied to my messages...but she hadn’t.

I wrapped my dressing gown around me and went downstairs to make some breakfast. I put a put a fry up in for the boys and made myself, beans on toast.

“Luke I’ve made you breakfast .” I say waking him up.

“Urm...thank you baby. But you didn’t have to. You shouldn’t be doing things.” He smiled opening his eyes, then rubbing my growing bump.

“Luke I’m pregnant not dying.” I giggle leaning in to kiss him

“Yea I know. I just want to protect you. I couldnt cope if anything happened to either of you.”

“Baby nothing’s going to happen to us.” I smile moving closer to him.

"I know, it’s just so scary how everything seems to be going perfect for us and everything has crumbled for Liv and Dan. I'm worried something’s going to happen."

I stroked his cheek gently making him look at me.

"Just because it wasn't our relationship doesn't mean we haven't been affected by it. I can feel the pain they’re going through just as much as you can. They're family. Their pain is ours."

He nodded slowly pulling me into a hug. "I love you." He whispers down my ear causing goosebumps to appear over my body.

"I love you too."

I kissed him gently before getting off the bed. "Foods downstairs, I'm gona go tell Dan."

I walk into his room only to find it empty. I walk down the stairs and slowly open Liv’s bedroom door to see Dan curled up asleep under her quilt with her monkey teddy bear. He had what looked like a scrap book open on the bed. I decided to leave him sleep, I’d put his food in the oven so he could heat it up later.

I closed the door and made my way downstairs before snuggling up on the sofa with Luke after he had finished his breakfast.

“What you doing today then baby?” Luke asked, running his fingers through my hair

“Me and the girls have our last dress fittings before the wedding.” I smile

“Is Liv going?”

I shrugged my shoulders before looking up at him, “I hope so. I need her there.”

“She won’t miss it, you know she won’t”

“I know, but we’ve hurt her.”

“I know, I know. But she won’t hurt you like that, she can’t take back not coming to our wedding.”

“I miss her already.”

“I miss her too.” He sighed stroking my bump

I cuddled up to Luke for a little while longer before walking up to our bedroom. 

“Fancy some company in the shower?" Luke cheekily grinned at me

"I'd love some." I smiled, walking into our en suite removing my clothes on the way in, quickly followed by Luke.  

We eventually made our way out of the bathroom before getting dressed. I dried and straightened my hair before applying my make-up. 

"What you doing today?" I ask Luke looking at him lay on our bed through the mirror

"Just gona chill here with Dan I think. Sort out my stag night on Saturday."

"I dread to think of the things he's gona get you up to."

"He’ll be tame."

"Whenever has Dan been tame?" I laugh

"True. But he won't be mean, because then he knows I’ll just get him back when he gets married."

"I like your thinking there." I smile walking over to my wardrobe, picking something out for me to wear.

I slip on my underwear then a pair of leggings, my denim skirt, a vest then a jacket. I popped my uggs on before putting everything I needed into my handbag.

"You good to go?" Luke asked slipping on his grey joggers. 

"Yea, make sure Dan's okay yea?" I smile putting my coat on

"Course baby, now go." He grins leaning in for a kiss

"Speak to you later." I smile kissing him once more before walking out the house.

I drove into the city, parking up then making my way over to the wedding shop. I stopped off at Mcdonalds on the way, fancied a cheese burger. I finished it off just as I got to the shop. 

As I walked through the door, it chimed causing the same elderly woman as last time to appear from the back of the store. 

"Good afternoon my darling." She smiled

"Hey." I smiled walking over to her

"Are you here for your dress fitting?"

"Yea, the last one now before we collect them." I smile

"Okay no problem." She smiled

"Williams the name is am I correct?" 

"That's right." 

The door chimed again and Ruby walked in with Megan, Paige and Erin. No sign of Liv though.

"Hey girls." I smiled walking over to hug them

"Where's Liv?" Megan asked

"Long story?" I sighed walking further into the store

"This have something to do with her texting me the other night asking to stay at mine?" Meg asked and I nodded

"What's happened?" Paige asked concerned

"We've had an argument."

"It can't be that bad." Ruby smiled rubbing my arm

"It’s worse, much much worse." I mumble almost crying

"What happened?" Erin asked just as the old woman appeared from the back carrying my dress.

"Oh good the rest are here. I’ll pop your dress in the changing room , then go get the others." She smiled tottering off

"Evie?" Ruby says touching my arm gently

"She found out something that I don't think she'll ever forgive me for."

"Like what? You's don't have secrets."

"I’ll explain later. Can we just get these dresses sorted first?" I smile at them wiping away the couple of tears that had fallen.

"Sure." They say in unison as we make our way into the changing room.

I slipped into my dress, with one of the store assistance help.

"You look beautiful." She gushed as I stood in front of the mirror

"Thank you." I beamed, running my hands over my dress

"Come out Evie we want to see you." Meg shouts so I open the curtain and walk out

"Oh wow." The gasp making me blush

"You look stunning ." Erin smiles hugging me in her bridesmaid dress

"Thank you girls." I smile, but tears falling down my cheeks

"Aww , what's wrong." Paige asks coming over and hugging me

"I need Liv here with me."

"I can't believe she's missed this. It’s so selfish of her. It’s your wedding for god’s sake." Ruby says angrily

"I don't blame her for not being here and neither would you’s if you knew the truth.” I reply, wiping my tears away with a tissue.

"What you talking about ?" Ruby asks looking concerned

"I slept with Dan." I reply quietly

"You what?" Meg gasped stepping back slightly

"It’s not as bad as it sounds..." I begin

"No, it's worse...how could you do that to Luke? ...to Liv?" Meg interrupted, shouting at me

I sigh and look at them. I could see the horror and disappointment in their eyes.

"It happened..." I begin when Mrs Jones, the little old lady comes tottering around the corner.

"Oh wow darling, you look beautiful. Does it fit okay?"

"Yea it’s perfect." I smile wiping the few tears that were falling. "And there's still room in case my bump grows as well."

"Ahh lovely...how about you ladies?" She asks the girls.

"This is a little big around the bust." Meg says running her finger under the top of her dress, showing Mrs Jones the gap.

"I'll go get my tape measure and I'll take your new measurements." She smiled. 

"The rest of you okay?"

"Yea." 

"Oh Paige, can you put on Liv's dress? You're both the same size and because she’s not here I need to just to check that it still fits."

"Yea. Fine." Paige replies bluntly

"Oh sorry to interrupt." Mrs Jones says gently touching my arm. "Are you on about Miss Williams, the maid of honour?"

"Yes, my twin sister." I reply looking at her confused.

"I've got the measurements for her dress, so don't worry." She smiles

"I don't understand. How?" I ask, glancing at the girls who all seemed to look as confused as me.

"She came in this morning. She had a prior engaErinent this afternoon and was unable to attend." She nods at us

"Oh wow, okay." I smile "Thank you."

I reply as she leaves us alone.

"So she's still coming to your wedding then?" Erin says to me and I shrug.

"I hope so."

I walk back into the changing room and get out of my wedding dress. I should be feeling happy and excited right now, it’s my final dress fitting before the wedding but instead I was anxious and worried that my sister, my best friend wasn't going to be there. 

As I come back out all the girls are sat there waiting for me.

"We need to talk." Megan says to me and I nod.

"Let me just sort out the dresses yea."

I walk to the front of the shop where Mrs Jones was.

"Okay darling, you all set?" She smiles at me.

"Yes thank you so much. So will they be ready by next Wednesday?"

"Of course darling. I'll be finishing them off tonight and tomorrow. They'll be here waiting whenever you're ready to collect them."

"Okay thank you." I smile before walking out the shop followed by the girls.

"Lunch?" I ask the girls and they nod.

We end up at the slug and lettuce having a pub lunch.

After we'd ordered our food and drinks, the girls just sat there looking at me.

"Explain." Ruby sighs and I nod feeling the tears build up in my eyes.

"Okay, well first of all Dan hasn't cheated on Liv and I haven't cheated on Luke." I say to them and they all looked at each other

"Then when did you sleep with Dan?" Meg asked

"When we were sixteen."

"What?" Erin gasped, mimicking the other girls facial expressions.

I sighed and took a swig out of my glass of coke.

"You know Liv slept with James on prom night yea?" I say and they nod their heads 

"And I told you's I slept with Ryan"

"Yea." Ruby replied, eager for me to continue

"Well I never, I slept with Dan." I mumble

"After prom you slept with Dan?" Paige says repeating what I had just said.

"Yea. It was a huge mistake."

"You slept with your twin sister’s prom date." Ruby snidely says to me and I drop my head in shame and nod. 

"It wasn't meant to happen. We were really drunk and I'd seen Ryan cheating on me."

"That's not an excuse." Meg replies

"I'm not making excuses. But that's what happened. Dan was really upset over Liv and got really drunk after seeing her and James go off together. So I asked him what was wrong and well he told me how he had really strong feelings for Liv but didn't want to ruin their friendship by saying something. But when they went to prom together he was going to admit them to her, but Shanice got in the way so Liv thought Dan had gone off with her so she accepted James’ offer to dance and well we know what happened next."

"Wow!" Paige gasped

"Okay, so I get how it happened. Drunken mistakes happen, hell we've had plenty of them. But what I don't get is why Liv's upset about it now if you told her."

"We never did." 

“You never told her?” Erin replied

“No, she’s just found out now. That’s why she’s not here and is so upset.”

“I don’t blame her to be honest Evie.” Ruby sighed

“Me neither.” I replied. “But I don’t think it’s the fact that me and Dan slept together that’s hurting her.”

“What do you mean?” Megan asked

“Well she said that we should have told her back then because she wasn’t with Dan then, she never had these feelings for him then, where as now they’re together its completely different. But it’s the fact that we kept it from her for five years that hurts the most.”

“I understand why she’s upset, her three best mates kept something huge from her for five years. She’s not had the best of times lately so this coming out now is shit timing to say the least.”

“Yea I know, it wasn’t meant to...but it has.” I sigh just as our food is brought over.

We finish eating before we go our seperate ways home.

“Everything will work out fine , she’ll forgive you and be at your wedding.” Paige whispered to me as we left.

“‘Thank you”

I walked back to where I parked my car and drove home to find Dan and Luke lying across the sofa’s playing fifa.

*Dan’s POV*

I walked up the stairs, pausing at Liv's door before going in. I got under her quilt, and tucked her teddy monkey thing under my arm and snuggled down. I lifted the quilt so that it was pretty much covering my head, I could smell her. 

But it just made me miss her so much more. I leant down over the side of her bed and pulled out the white box covered in gold and red hearts.

I gently took out her family scrap book and opening it up to when we were at Glastonbury. That was a great trip...minus the argument but I got my girl after it. I carried on flicking through it, looking at the silly little things that she’d kept putting them into here.

I turned over and my heart stopped. Right on this page was the letter I had left with her in the hospital. She’d cut it out and stuck it in the book, why? 

But now I understood as to why she smiled when I said the sparkle was back in her eyes. It was here in the letter.

I turned over again and there was a page for just me and her with Tink and Romeo forever stuck on the page. There seemed to be hundreds of photo’s on here, even from times I don’t even remember. Ahhhhhh I miss her so much.

I lay my head down on her pillow, curling up and looking at each of the pictures...eventually crying myself to sleep.

I woke up later on and gently placed Liv’s scrap book back into the box and under her bed. I just lay in her bed for a while, just wishing that she was here with me. That she was curled up in front of me and I could run my fingers through her hair. That I could lean down and kiss up her neck and along her jaw bone till she’d turn her head so I could reach her lips.

But she wasn’t.

I got out of her bed and made my way downstairs where Luke was sat playing fifa.

“You alright” he asked as i took another control and lay across the other sofa

“Nope. Let’s play.” I replied as we started a new game.

*Evie’s POV*

“You want a brew?” I ask walking into the kitchen leaving them to play fifa.

“Na .” Luke replied

“No thanks.” Dan shouted

I flicked on the kettle before sitting down at the table.

“How did today go?” Luke asked coming through followed by Dan sitting down at the table with me.

“Fine, dresses are all done.” I smile slightly

“Did Liv turn up?” Dan asked but I shook my head

“‘She went to the shop this morning and got fitted so that she wouldn’t have to see me this afternoon.” I sighed

“She’s still mad but her getting the dress sorted is good.” Luke smiles kissing the side of my head.

“I guess.” I reply, standing up as I hear the kettle boil. 

“I miss her.” Dan mumbled before walking out the room.

I sighed watching him leave the room before looking back at Luke who had the same sadden expression on his face.

“Do you ever think we’ll be the same again?” He asked

“What you mean?” I ask pouring the milk into my drink before walking over and sitting down next to him.

“Like us four, we’ve been the fab four since reception...”

“I duno...maybe.” I shrug sipping my tea “I hope so.”

“Movie and a cuddle on the sofa?” Luke smiled as I finished my cup of tea

“Sounds perfect.” I smile following him into the living room. He put on Finding Nemo before getting behind me and spooning me. His arm gently stroking my bump as we watched the movie.

*Dan POV*

I walked up to my room and collapsed onto my bed like a star fish. I hated this, hated not knowing where she was. I must have text her a million times but all my messages went unanswered.

I grabbed the tv remote, flicking through the channels till I found something decent to watch. Ended up on Corrie, good old corrie. 

After it had finished I wandered downstairs to see Luke and Evie fast asleep on the sofa whilst Nemo was on the TV. I rang Nandos ordering for three, I knew they’d appreciate it when it came.

Twenty minutes later there was a knocking at the front door which disturbed Luke.

“I’ll get it.” I reply coming out of the kitchen munching on a ketchup butty.

“Ahh cheers mate.” I smile handing over the money to the delivery boy as he handed me the bags of food.

“Who’s there?” Evie muttered

“Just the door .” Luke replied as I walked through the living room

“You got Nandos?”

“Yea, come and get yours.” I replied “I ordered for you and Evie.”

“Cheers mate, come on , food.”

“Mmmm chicken.” Evie laughed coming into the kitchen.

Plating out everyone’s food before munching away in silence.

“I’m going up guys.” I say putting my plate into the dish washer

“You not want to watch a movie with us mate?”

“Na, you’re okay.” I reply going upstairs and once again collapsing onto my bed.

I grabbed my phone in hope so see a message from her but there was nothing, just my background of us when we were in Manchester.

I clicked on a new message to Liv.

[I miss this, I miss you, I miss us. Love you Romeo xxx (picture)]

I added the picture of us in Manchester in some hope she’d see it. Hopefully reply. Hopefully come back to me.

*Liv's POV*

I didn't realise I'd fallen asleep until my eyes flickered open. I was curled up in the foetal position on my bed. I grabbed my phone from my bag, checking the time.

6.34pm. I got up and fixed my make-up before heading down to the hotel restaurant for some tea. I barely touched my dinner, my appetite just wasn't there. 

I made my way back up to my room and jumped into the shower. It made me feel so much better. I slipped on my underwear and moisturised my body with coco butter before putting on my PJ shorts and top. I sat in front of the mirror, drying my hair. My phone catching my eye every five minutes as it would light up then constantly flash blue. When would Dan realise I just needed space. I poured myself a large glass of wine as I began straightening my hair. I put on the music channels and it really made me want to go out.

I needed to drink, I wanted to get drunk.

I grabbed my glass filling it up with the remainder of my wine. I backcombed my hair before hair spraying it in place and applying my going out make-up, slightly more than normal. 

I got dressed up, putting on my new blue floaty dress teaming it with black heels and a matching black bag. I finished off my glass of wine then raided the mini bar for all the alcohol I could find. 

I rang a taxi and soon enough I was sat at the bar in Movida drinking more cocktails and shots. I wasn't too drunk just yet but I was getting there. Wouldn't take much more though.

"Can I buy you a drink?" 

I turned my head to see a familiar lad stood there. I knew him from somewhere, I just didn't know where. Plus he was hot. Tanned skin, dark hair and gorgeous eyes. The fact he dressed well just made him more attractive.

"Yea sure." I smile and he pulls up the stool next to me.

"What you drinking?" He asks

"A purple rain, I think it was called." I smile

Soon enough we were chatting away, it was nice to have some company, I missed Dan so much. 

I was feeling very drunk right now, all those cocktails and shots were going to my head.
