{Namjoon's pov}
"Where did Ms l/n go?!" The gym teacher yells as he looks around for her. That's when I notice y/n had yet to come back.

"I saw her dip out with some random dude." I hear someone say and then from behind me one of the guys snickers, "Probably went to get fucked. Too bad I couldn't be the one to tap that. I bet she's a virgin too, to bad."

"Shut the fuck up, would you!" I snap, what he said throwing me over the edge.

None of them said anything after that, most of them looking at me shocked. I hadn't expected to snap at them but I wasn't going to let them continue to talk about y/n like that.

"That's enough. Let's just get back to class." The gym teacher says as he blows his whistle.

The guys walk away from me, leaving me to myself. I was angry. The only thing on my mind was where the hell y/n had gone with Hayden.

They left school together in the middle of the day, something I never figured y/n would do. In the back of my mind my thoughts were bad but at the same time, I couldn't imagine y/n would go hook up with some guy she had barely known for more then a week.

Y/n wasn't like that. She isn't Brittany.

Knowing there was nothing I could do, I followed the rest of the class out, hoping y/n would just randomly pop back up.

{y/n's pov}

"Where should we go?" I ask, not sure where to go next and we had only made it from the school to Hayden's car.

"Want to grab lunch? I'm starving." Hayden says, turning his key in the ignition then waiting for my answer.

"Sure. I could eat." I grin and he nods as we drive off.

We ended up at some little diner I had never heard of before.

"My parents use to take me here all the time when I was younger. It's got some pretty good food." Hayden says as he turns off the car, putting the keys in his pocket before opening the door.

"Well I'm excited to try it then." I say as I too get out of the car then follow him inside.

We get seated at a booth then begin to look over the menu. I ended up getting what I always did when I went out to eat and Hayden got the same thing.

As we waited for the food we talked about how Hayden had never ditched school before and how he was very on edge right now.

"Ive never skip either you know. At least if you get in trouble you won't get in trouble alone." I laugh as I lean back in the booth.

"Yeah that's true." Hayden laughs as he pulls out his phone to check the time. "Gym class is about over anyway. I'm sure you didn't miss much." He then says.

"Probably not. Besides maybe Brittney being a bitch to someone else." I say, still angry about what had happened.

"She'll get what she deserves some day. Just try not to let her get to you." Hayden says from across the table and I nod.

"You're right. I'm sure she only acts that way because she knows if she does it enough she'll get to me. I'll just try my best to ignore her." I say and Hayden smiles. "Good idea."

Once we got our food we made small talk as we ate. After we were done we decided to head back to Hayden's to just hang out for a little bit.

"What should we do now?" I ask as I sit down on his bed, propping myself up so my back was against the wall.

"Whatever you want to do." He laughs as he too sits down but beside me.

"I'm not sure. You don't have a tv in your room like a normal teenager so what is there to do?" I say and he shrugs.

"I've just never really cared for tv. As you can see I'm more of a reader." He says and I laugh, knowing he definitely wasn't your average teen.

"We could read together." I laugh even though I was serious. Hayden looked over at me, tilting his head. "The same book or different ones?"

"The same one. I want to choose it." I say as I stand up and dash to his shelf of many books.

I browse through them, stopping at a classic, The Great Gatsby. I turned to Hayden and smile as I wave the book in the air before making my way back over to the bed.

"Oh a good one." He grins as I sit down beside him and open up to the first chapter. He moves in closer to me so that he can see the book as well before we begin to read.

Chapter after chapter we read together in silence. I was glad that Hayden enjoyed reading just as I did. Of course he seemed to love it way more but still, it was nice.

Definitely wouldn't what you would expect two kids that just skipped school together to be doing but what could I say, we weren't normal.

As I was reading, I could see from my peripheral vision that Hayden had stopped reading and was glancing over at me.

"What is it?" I ask, not bothering to look up from the book. "Huh?" He asks, his brows furrowing. I lifted my head to look at him then.

"You're staring at me." I laugh, starting to feel a little self conscious with his eyes on me for so long.

"I'm sorry." He says, his cheeks turning pink but he didn't turn his head away.

"You don't have to apologize it's just a bit...strange." I laugh as I place my finger on my page so I don't lose my spot.

"Can I be honest with you?" Hayden then says, avoiding my eyes. "Of course. What is it?" I ask, my brows raised. I didn't expect what he said next to come out of his mouth.

"Actually, can I just show you?" He then asks, his eyes finally meeting mine. "Uh, sure." I say, feeling very confused.

I wasn't expecting what he did next.

He kissed me.
