I quickly mouth out as dramatically as possible.

'NO ONE.'

"You know you make this getting you a date thing very hard, but I'm willing to put up with Alan, for the sake of you look adorable together," Willow says smiling and leaning back in her chair.

My fingers work quickly across the keyboard on my phone before handing it to Leo.

"Oh, so now I'm your translator? Alright. She says, 'I am not going out with Alan. Or anyone. If you want an interesting love story go get a boyfriend.'" Leo says smiling as he hands me back my phone.

"But your love life is so much more interesting!" She wines at me while sticking out her bottom lip.

I shake my head no and she gives me a grumpy face. I roll my eyes at her and take a bite out of my apple, instantly regretting it.

I hold my jaw and cheeks as my mouth is sore from not chewing and eating. The juice from it slides down my scratchy throat but the bite itself stays in my mouth as I close my eyes and wince at just how sore it is.

"You alright?" Leo asks.

I nod my head.

"Well your never gonna get a boyfriend with that face!" Willow says as I open my eyes.

"Mouth sore from not eating I'm guessing?" L.J. asks.

I nod my head as I try to bite down again.

"Might not be the best idea to eat an apple when you just woke up," Alan says.

oOoOo Two weeks later oOoOo

It's officially been two weeks since I woke up. The guys come over to the hospital every day to hang out.

I have been going to therapy and physical therapy so they can make sure I'm okay mentally and so I can gain back some of my strength. I am able to walk now and be fine but I can't run or jump much. Buttttttttt, I''m finally getting out of here today!!!

Now, don't get me wrong, love the free food in bed and room service but all this therapy and check-ups and flowers are giving me head-akes. I really appreciate it but after two months and weeks, you think they would stop. Nope!

The others...Henry and his posse got out a week ago. They were all under close surveillance for a few days but are now free. All found, not guilty in the courtroom. Thanks to Britneys, Courtney's, Davids and Henrys rich daddy's they were able to pay off a lot of people.

So they are free to roam and do whatever. Even go to the same school as me. And I can't get a restraining order as I have 'no proof' that they did anything to me. Yeah, you can guess how mad I was cause I can't explain it myself.

I pack my bag as I slide into some clothes from home. A pair of sweatpants and a tank top with a hoodie over it. I still can't talk as to be expected and my parents had to start work again so Leo is driving me home to meet Rain and Asher there.

I pick up my bag full of stuff that they had brought here for me and they give me my meds to help stop any extreme pain and infection as we go out the door.

It's just me and Leo today since the guys all had stuff that their parents wanted them to do since they have been away from their own homes so often.

As we look out the doors before going out. Lines full of people string on both sides of the doors. All with cameras and microphones along with other people out there. They all look to me and so does Leo.

"We can do an interview later, let's just go home, we'll lose them along the way. And put your hood up dufus."

I look at him and he smirks at me. I grab the edge of my hood and fling it over my face. He opens up the first door for me and I walk through holding the second one for him as cameras are pushed towards my face and people shout random questions at me.

Leo tries to shoo the cameras from my face but it's no use as they shout at me.

"What made you think to do that?"

"How do you know to fight?"

"Why did you choose to do that?"

"Why did you save them all before going to the shooting?"

"Would you be able to do that again?"

"Are you going to continue fighting?"

"Is it true the shooters bullied you?"

"Is it true that you can no longer talk?"

"Is it true that you were at the time dating one of the shooters?"

"Is it true that you were abused by your parent before this happened?"

I keep my head down as it reminds me of walking down that rumor-filled hallway. Except they are all directed at me. Their questions that get more personal makes me tense. As one of them had asked if one of them had raped me.

My heart beats out of my chest. Who would ask that sort of question? Real or fake. I feel Leo tense beside me as well, and I realize he had heard that one as well.

We walk to the car and they all follow us shouting more questions.

I realize he had brought his extremely tall truck. Good thinking Leo.

I put my foot up and grab onto the handles, pulling myself up and jumping up with force. I struggle a little but make it up regardless. I shut my door and Leo looks to me.

"Cover your ears."

I do what he says and he sets off the alarm making them all back off. He quickly stops it and turns on the car, backing out and driving away.

I take off my hood as he turns on some music and they all follow us in their cars. We drive by our house causing all the people there to leave and follow us.

We drive for at least an hour before losing them and going home. Leo parks behind the house so no one could recognize this car and get out. As I do, Rain and Asher come running out.

"Beth!"

They quickly jump onto me and I have to hold onto the car to keep my balance. I hug them back.

"Can you talk yet?" Asher says excitedly.

I shake my head no with a half smile as I grab my bag and close the door. We walk to the front of the house and on the side of the porch is piles and piles of flowers in vases with Get Well Soon balloons.

"We had to give a bunch away as gifts only to have near that hundred that you see there. I even sold a bunch of them at special occasions that I wasn't invited to," Leo says sighing.

I smile and pat his back.

"Just wait till you see your room," Rain says leading me inside.

She leads me to my room and on my desk are envelopes tied together with string that are at least a foot to two feet tall. Leo soon walks in as well.

"Why don't we leave Beth alone for a while?" He asks as I stare at the stacks of envelopes.

They all walk out and I start reading them. Somewhere in there, tears started to surface after three hours of going through them. I finally finish and stow away all of them in my suitcases.

I change into a pair of yoga pants and actual athletic shoes. Like I'm gonna stop fighting or stop trying to get stronger, pshhh!!!

I grab a water bottle from the fridge and go outside with my earbuds and phone. I plug in my earbuds and turn on some music and put the phone in my waistband as I put one earbud in and put my water off to the side. Around the main backyard is a field surrounded by a fence made of wood and wire, about a mile around once, maybe.

I go along the gate and stretch just a little and run in a slow jog. It takes me awhile but I finish a few miles and my legs are at the point where they are just numb, so nothing really hurts anymore. Which, you know, is always nice.

I try to pick up speed to a faster jog and my legs begin to really hurt as well as my sides and lungs. I do my best to ignore it till I just feel numb and tired. It works but I already know I am gonna regret this tomorrow.

Beads of sweat roll down my face and I try to keep my breath under some sort of control.

The sun is going down a little making it late afternoon and as I loop around back to the closest side of the backyard to the house I see the guys start walking around to the back, quickly spotting me.

I see them all grin at me as I begin to walk over to them as they stand at the gate to the larger part of the yard.

"You get out of the hospital and this is what you're doing?" A says raising an eyebrow.

I smile at them as I lean over the gate that has a wooden top.

"This is how your gonna spend your summer? What about us?" Mason says crossing his arms.

I shrug my shoulders and pull out my phone, quickly typing and showing it to them, on it said, 'why are you guys here, don't you have better stuff to be doing?'

"Well, for your information we were gonna see how you were doing, but by the looks of it, your doing fine," L.J. says.

I raise an eyebrow at them before opening the gate and stepping out. I quickly type, 'okay, why are you all really here?'

"She caught us, it's fight night, wanna know if you wanted to come with," Gray says looking at me.

I quickly type on my screen getting really annoyed that they don't know a bunch of sign language so that I can just do that. I show it to them while on it said, 'sure, I just gotta go change.'

"What you're wearing fine," Alan says.

I stifle a laugh at him and shake my head as I begin to walk to the house. They all follow beside me.

"Race you there!" Trever shouts.

We all take off but as to be expected I come in last since I haven't run sprints in a while.

"You were just jogging and you still lost."

I roll my eyes at them as we go in the back door and I race upstairs, quickly changing into a pair of jeans, converse and the used-to-be covered in blood hoodie Mason gave to me over a t-shirt, putting my phone and earbuds in my pocket and quickly make my way back out all within two minutes. And that is something useful that school teaches you to do.

I rush down and they look at me with smirks as I do.

"Nice hoodie," Mason says as we head to the front door with Leo.

I mouth, 'I know, right?' as we go outside and a babysitter shows up.

I ride with A on his motorcycle since I have my own gear and I can and ridding with any of the other guys feels awkward at this point. But this causes Gray to give me a pouting face as we drive off. Mason quickly sees what he does and does the same face.

As we pull into the parking lot and I see that area where it happened, memories flood me making me feel uneasy as if I would see him here. No, if I saw him here and he came within ten feet of me I would end up killing him right then and there. No questions asked.

We all get off the bikes and leave our things in the bags as we walk over to the ally. I tense a little and I know the guys noticed. L.J. puts his arm around my shoulders and pulls me closer to him by a little as we walk.

I leave his arm where it is and still don't relax. My muscles are so tense and tight that it almost hurts and will become exhausting. We walk over to the crowd and I see people glance to me and their buddy and whisper only making my nerves worse.

"Calm down, you've been here a million times and you're not even fighting tonight," Gray whispers over to me.

We walk through the crowd, closer to the fight and L.J keeps me close to him as we walk to the center ring. Two girls are fighting, both with bloody noses and one with a busted lip and the other with a black eye.

I watch them, wishing I could still be able to be and that ring and be able to fight. I see Liam on one corner, completely uninterested in what's going on and looking through the crowd. I turn my attention back to the fight and shift uneasily from one foot to another. But I see him looking at me from the corner of my eye and try to focus back on the fight.

L.J. takes his arm off of me and quickly cheers for one of the girls, obviously wanting the fight to be over.

"Hey, I'll be right back," Gray says patting me on the shoulder before walking back through the crowd.

I look back at him and the others all smirk at me. Oh, shoot. I know that smirk. They are all up to something. And I have no clue what it is. I turn back to the fight and watch the black girl with cornrows obliterate the other girl, knocking her to the ground and her feet are too unsteady to stand on.

The girl stays down and corn rows win, both coming to the center after a moment and announcing the winner. But as they split off I see them both glance to me and turn away with almost a look of fear which scares me.

I feel a hand on my shoulder as the next fight is about to begin and I turn back to see who it is.
