I set my plate on the counter and grab his jacket and shirt.

"You do realize those have my blood on them right?"

"Catch."

I throw them at him as I walk back over. He catches them and looks back at me puzzled.

I grab my plate and quickly finish the last piece before heading back to him as he inspects the shoulder of it. He quickly smiles at me when he notices that it's cleaned and stitched.

"What did she do?" L.J. asks.

I go to the stairs, about to go get ready for today.

"She cleaned and sewed it," Gray says chuckling in disbelief.

I quickly change into a pair of leggings, a pair of running shoes with a big hoodie to cover my stomach. You know, the usual. I walk out the front door before the guys can stop me and go out to the field.

I start to run as it's noon and I don't plan on going to school today. Already sleeping in class and ditching school. Why can't things just go back to how they were?

I continue to run until I see Gray at the fence after about a mile or two.

"Beth!"

As I come closer to him I slow down and he walks over to me on the other side.

"Could we talk?"

"What's there to talk about?"

"Us?"

"Going straight to the elephant in the room?"

"It's a pretty annoying one," he says leaning over the wood.

"Alright, what about us?"

"Beth I know you like me. And I think it's pretty clear I like you-"

"Gray-"

"Hold on, let me finish. I know we both made mistakes, me a lot more than you but I want to know what I can do to make it up to you. I'm not saying we get back together if you don't want to. But what can I do to make it up to you?"

I think my heart just melted. This boy is gonna kill me. What is wrong with me? I run my hand back through my hair and sigh.

"That's the most emotion you have showed in weeks," he says chuckling.

"Gray, do you remember that night I first said that I really like you?"

"I was sitting closer to the foot of the bed, we had our hands interlaced when you shared your story you had looked down the whole time, your hair was covering your face while you had tears running down your face. You kissed me and when I went to apologize you said it was your fault so I kissed you. And your dream came true of getting me in your bed," he says chuckling.

I can't help the smile that crosses my face. The first real one I have had cross my face in over two weeks.

"So your face isn't broken, you can smile," he says smiling.

I look at him.

"You can take your time if you're not sure yet, I mean I can-"

"Just don't walk out on me, have a little faith that I am not that awful and just stay around," I say looking at him.

"Princess you couldn't get rid of me even if you wanted to. That's just a given. You didn't need to ask."

But you said that before. And you lied right back to me. I plaster a small smile on my face anyway.

"I take that look as I'm in the cool?"

"Yeah, sure," I say chuckling at him.

"Alright, next big question," he says looking at me.

"Okay."

"When you're ready," he pauses "if you ever want to get back together, text me. I'll wait for you. If not, just let me know now."

I say nothing.

"You're not saying no," he says chuckling.

I look down and back at him.

"You gotta say something," he says smiling.

"Eventually Grayson."

It's not like I don't want to be with him. I want to be with him more than anything, but I can't just jump into a relationship with him because he apologized. I'm not gonna look desperate like that. Cause I'm stubborn. Don't question it.

"Come inside, it's freezing out here you weirdo."

"I'm just fine, your just a pansy."

"Did you just call me a delicate flower? I don't know if I should be offended or laughing at you."

I sigh at him and walk to the gate, heading out to follow him inside.

"You gonna get back on the wrestling team?"

"Wrestling was never my thing, you know that."

"You were good at it."

I shrug my shoulders.

"You're gonna go back to being silent, right? Your voice was getting to me and we had just started talking again yesterday," he says jokingly.

"Oh, like your voice is all that great," I say looking to him.

"Did you hear that? It was like a garbage disposal was right next to me!"

I elbow him and he chuckles.

"Butt hole," I say laughing at him.

"Beautiful," he says smiling at me.

"You are already getting on my nerves," I say sending him a glare.

"You're already annoying."

I roll my eyes at him.

"Thanks for my jacket by the way," he says glancing at me.

"Thanks for being the best butt hole friend I got."

He laughs at me.

"You don't curse all the often, am I that bad of an influence?" He raises his eyebrow at me.

"No just being around you brought out that side of me," I say smirking.

"So any of the other guys apologize yet?"

"No, Willow did, I should probably start that conversation myself and apologize."

"You already said you were sorry before, plus your strong-headed, you wouldn't apologize now anyway."

"You need to stop understanding me so well," I say annoyed.

"You know you don't blush anymore around me? Kinda miss it."

"I don't, every time I did you would flirt with me to make it worse," I say smiling.

He chuckles at me as we reach the door and my smile drops a considerable amount as all of them look at me when we walk in. The room becomes quiet and their faces are as just as much stoned in as mine.

I mentally sigh, Gray is right. I'm not gonna be the one to start the conversation.

I walk off and away from them to the stairs and go to my room. I soon hear my phone vibrate. I look over and pick it up.

Gray: I thought you were gonna start the conversation C;

Me: Shush it

Gray: It's gonna happen eventually, just get it over with and move on

Gray: Hello?

Gray: Beth?

Gray: If you don't respond I'm just gonna tell them that you want to talk them

Me: Okay, I'm here!

Gray: Will you just get it over with, it's even awkward when you're not around. It's getting annoying

I sigh. He's right.

Me: How much of a dirtbag move would it be to do it over text?

Gray: That'll only make it worse

Me: Fine

Gray: Wow, I didn't think you were actually going to do it

Me: I thought you guys came over to apologize to me

Gray: Yeah, well we are stubborn too. I'm turning off my phone now and if you don't get down here, I'm gonna bring all of them up there

Me: Okay! Give me like two minutes!

I sigh and get up, quickly doing some stuff on my phone, trying to stall but finally set my phone down and walk out of my room.

(Authors Note: I don't apologize often cause I'm often right so this is about to get awkward, corny, movie-type weird, and cringey. You have been warned.)

I walk down the stairs trying to think of how to best string some words together. What do you say to six guys all at once when you're trying to say sorry? Can I make a cake saying that instead? That might be easier than this! I have been thinking of how to apologize since that night.

The room was already silent making it slightly easier. None of them except Gray pays me any attention who just smirks at me.

Not a huge help here.

"Hey, could I talk to you guys for a second?"

They all look up from their phones at me and sit up.

I feel dizzy and nervous already. Anxiety is a curse.

"What's up?" Alan asks looking at me.

"I just wanted to say that I'm sorry. I should have told you guys sooner. I never saw it as a big deal to me so I never thought is was worth bringing up. I made a mistake and I'm sorry," I say in one breath.

"Okay," Mason says.

Okay? Okay?! That's it?!?! Today's the day. The day I kill a man.

"That's it? That's all your gonna say?"

"Yep."

"That took me two weeks to come up with!"

Their flat faces quickly tug upwards into smiles.

"Nerd!" Alan shout's throwing a pillow at me.

"You evil dirtbags," I mumbled loud enough for them to hear me.

They laugh at me.

"Hey, we're sorry too. We shouldn't have attacked you like that and ignored you," Alan says still smiling.

"Nerd!" I shout throwing the pillow at him.

"Fine! Forget apologizing to you ever again!" He retorts with a smile.

"Finally, your all gonna stop acting like someone died!" Gray shouts standing up.

The doorbell soon rings after he says that and they all look over, confused.

I rush over and open the door walking out slightly and paying as I am handed a steaming box of pizza.

"You ordered pizza?" Gray asks.

"Two hours ago, I knew they would take forever."

"Can we have some?" Willow says standing up.

"Hah, you're funny," I retort walking to the kitchen.

I know they are probably gonna steal it from me anyway.

"I thought we were cool now!" Alan shouts as I walk away.

"Pizza comes first," I say shrugging my shoulders as I go to the kitchen.

I hear them follow me so I quickly grab a slice and sit at the table, sitting carefully on the pizza box.

"Your not very clever," Gray says grinning at me.

They quickly come over to me and I grab onto the chair keeping the pizza piece hanging out of my mouth.

Gray quickly comes over and lifts me off the chair as I shriek and Willow grabs my pizza. He sets me back down and I take the pizza slice from my mouth.

"You all owe me a dollar for every slice you eat!"

They laugh at me as I eat my slice of heaven. They take forever because everything is homemade and fresh. From cheese to tomatoes, to the dough.

They all give me grins with every bite they take and I glare at them.

oOoOo Two Weeks Later oOoOo

Tomorrow is Halloween!

Me and the guys are good and we all made an agreement when it came to costumes. It's gonna be interesting. Willow is out of state with her parents to go trick or treating with distant family. So it's just me and the guys.

Night terrors have still been ongoing but I don't end up throwing up every morning and I have never breathed a bigger sigh of relief until then.

I go outside during lunch and sit down with all of them.

"About time you show up. C'mon, I wanna start pulling names!" Alan shouts.

L.J. holds a brown bag and we are all smiling. We decided to put all our names in a bag and each of us would pull out a name. Whoever you pull out, you get to choose their costume. We are all splitting up to go get a costume at different stores then bringing them to L.J.'s house. They also have to put on any make up you bought for them. So >:)

We will put the person's name on the bag then on Halloween we all head to his house to change and go to the Halloween party at some rich kid's house that is not mine.

"A, wanna start?"

"Yeah."

He reaches his hand in, looking away and quickly pulls out a slip of paper and reads it showing no reaction.

We go around and I am last. I pull out the last slip of paper and in messy hand writing I read, 'Mason'. This is gonna be fun.

The day goes on and we all split up in the end as I head to a small shop far from town. As I expected it's almost empty but has a ton of costumes.

I look through them all not finding anything super hilarious or anything...till I look in the girl's section.

I find the perfect costume and get a lot of weird looks when I go to the front to pay. I put it in a brown paper bag and label it, getting on my motorcycle and going to L.J.'s house.

I am the third one there between Trever and L.J. and knock on the door.
