"Cause I got people to back me up if things go too far south."

"So we are the reason you fight back?" Gray says with a smug look.

"I mean if you want to look at it like that, yeah."

They smirk at me as we walk to our bikes. I quickly make my way over to mine first while Leo goes to his car.

"You act as if your excited or something," Alan says grinning at me.

"I haven't been able to drive this thing for months now. I'm pretty excited." I say pulling out my helmet.

"Hey Beth, here," Mason says tossing something over to me.

I catch it and look at it, it's a communicator for my helmet.

I smile at them and put it on my helmet before putting it on and turning it on. It beeps a few times before connecting.

"You hear us alright?"

"Yep, can you guys hear me alright?"

"Yeah, your good."

I buckle up the bottom of my helmet and slide on my gloves as I swing my leg over the back and pull up the kickstand. My bike is pretty small for a sports bike and I still have to wear Romeos to help me be able to reach the ground enough to ride making it a bit harder to walk but I manage.

"So why a sports bike?" Mason says through the communicator.

"Cause it's fast and loud."

I soon start it and sure enough, it booms loudly.

"Add that to the haunted house, that'll scare plenty of people," Alan says.

I smile and drop my visor halfway as the guys all start their bikes.

"You can keep up Beth?" Mason asks.

"I should be asking all of you that," I say as I lean forward.

They all take off and I follow after them. The ride is silent till we make our way to a dead end neighborhood street filled with two-story houses and big backyards. We all pull up to a house on the very end and we pass by a lot of other kids playing basketball or skateboarding. We all park at the very end and turn off our bikes.

I bring my leg over as I drop the kickstand and take off my helmet. I turn off the communicator and put my gloves inside.

"You can bring your stuff inside if you want," L.J. says to me as we all take off your helmets.

I nod my head and we all walk up with helmets in hand.

L.J. walks in first and we all follow.

"Lewis?" I'm guessing his mom calls out.

"It's me, mom."

A woman in yoga pants and a black long sleeve shirt walks out from around the corner with a smile.

"Oh, who's your new friend?" She says smiling.

"Mom, this is Beth, Beth this is my mom."

"Nice to meet you," I say holding out my hand.

"Nice to meet you too." She says shaking my hand and her smile grows.

"You guys want anything to eat?"

"We're good," L.J. says starting up the stairs behind the door.

"Hold it right there, how long have you two know each other?"

"We're just friends," he says starting up the stairs again.

"Mmm-hmm," she says crossing her arms with a smile as I follow the guys upstairs.

The guys smirk at me as we head to the second room. It has a bit of a slanted roof but is a huge room nonetheless. In the back is a mat with a punching bag to the side while in front of that is a couch facing the other way to a t.v. and coffee table with controllers on it. Next to is is a bunch of other random stuff including a dresser and some board games.

The guys quickly rush over to the couch and jump the back so that they sit end up sitting in front of the t.v. I follow after them and end up sitting between L.J. and Alan.

"Alright, Beth what video games can you play?" L.J. says as Mason turns on the t.v. before sitting down.

"I don't know, depends on the game."

L.J., Gray, Mason, and Trever each grab a controller and flip through different games. That is till shouting sounds.

"L.J. where is my phone?!" A girl says from down the hall.

"Why would I know where your phone is?" He shouts back still focusing on the t.v.

"Well have you seen it?" She says coming around the corner of the room.

We all turn to her.

"Oh, hey guys." She says sheepishly.

"Have you seen it anywhere?"

"Nope, bye." He says turning back to the t.v.

"Who's your girlfriend then?" She says with a grin.

The guys all smirk to me.

"She's just a friend."

"Yeah, uh-huh." She says nodding and biting her lip.

"I'm Josie, you?"

"Beth."

"Josie, what's taking so long?!" Another girl's voice shouts up.

"Finding a phone is not that hard." Someone else says.

"You brought your friends?" L.J. says annoyed.

The three other girls come up and stand in the doorway.

"Oh, hi guys." One of them says.

They all wave at them.

"Who's your girlfriend L.J.?" One of them says smiling at me.

The guys all snicker except for L.J.

"We're just friends," I say as I look at them.

"Yeah, okay, sure." Another says.

"So what are you guys doing?" One of them says.

"Playing video games."

"Alright, fine. Well, I'm Harmony, this is Paris and June. And of course Josie. You?"

"Beth."

"Cool, so what game are you guys playing?" They say all coming in.

I watch the L.J. roll his eyes.

"Nothing you'd be interested in." He says.

The girls all stand between the guys and watch the t.v. over their shoulders.

"So how long have you known the guys?"

"Since December."

"How do you remember that?" Alan says.

"Cause they came over to my house at one point and got snowed in and it only snows that much in December."

"Hah, yeah that was a fun next day," Gray says chuckling.

The rest of the guys chuckle and nudge me.

"Oh, shush."

"What happened?" June asks looking between us.

"I slept with her." He says grinning at me.

"Did not. He slept on the other side of the bed so that when I woke up I would punch him for it." I say throwing a pillow at him.

"Yeah, and you almost had a heart attack too," L.J. says with a smirk while looking through games.

"She wakes up and screams at the top of her lungs and falls out of the bed," Mason says.

"How would you feel is a guy you knew for a few weeks was suddenly sleeping next to you?"

"I would question myself and what went wrong," He says smirking.

"I would be fine with it," Paris says casually.

"Why are you bringing all your friends in here?" L.J. says annoyed.

"What about Just Dance?" Harmony suggests.

"Nope." He says passing it.

"Aw, come on!" Josie says leaning over the back of the couch.

"I take it you boys can't dance?" I say taking the girls side to mess with them.

"And you can?" Alan says looking at me.

"I mean, I don't mean to brag or anything," I say flipping my hair.

"Alright, then go for it," L.J. says going back and clicking on it.

"Oh, I didn't think you were actually going to click it," I say running my hand back through my hair.

They all get up and Gray grabs a new controller, tossing it to me as L.J. moves the coffee table.

"So this is happening?" I say as they all smile at me.

I grab a hair tie out of my back pocket and quickly put my hair up. And Gray takes the controller from my hands.

"And we get to choose the song."

I sigh. I have doomed myself.

"One of you guys have to dance next," I say as Gray smiles at me.

"I'll be nice this time." He says grinning at me.

He clicks on 'Havannah.'

"Your the worst," I say taking the controller from him.

He smiles at me and backs up. I get into the sensors view and the music starts. I take the beginning pose and glare at the guys. I get perfect on almost the entire dance and end up getting five stars just barely but by the time its over and almost collapse.

I put my hand on my stomach and walk away.

"Haven't played this in so long,"

"You gonna go again?" Alan says smirking.

"Nope, Gray's turn," I say with a grin and scroll through the music.

"Alright, then you have to do it with me," He says crossing his arms.

"Psh, I'm not dancing again until I get my breath back. Get one of the other girls to dance with you." I say smirking at him and the girls beside me.

It's pretty obvious these girls are crushing on them. It's actually pretty funny.

"How did I get sucked into this?" He asks turning to the guys and they all smirk at him.

"Hips Don't Lie, how about that Gray?" I say smirking at him.

"I mean if that's what you wanna see." He retaliates back at me.

"You're ruining my joy of this."

"You'd be enjoying the show."

I roll my eyes at him and look through more songs till I just pick Millionaire by Bruno Mars. We all watch as he dances, not doing awful but not doing good in any way shape or form. He steps out of the circle as he finishes with four stars.

"Alright Beth, let's go," Alan says taking off his leather jacket and stepping into the middle, looking to me.

The guys whistle at him as he turns to me.

"Why am I always the target?" I mumbled loud enough for them to hear.

"Cause your reaction is hilarious," Mason says.

I walk into the center with him and he scrolls through the songs till finding Timber. He clicks on it and smiles at me.

"Why though?"

He smiles at me and I step off to the side. The music starts and I walk in and that's when the real dancing starts. Yeah, an interesting song to say the least.

He lets me go and I stand up, absolutely exhausted.

"How did you manage to get a higher score than me?" He says turning to me.

I look at the screen and smile.

"I was surprised you knew how to dance at all if it makes you feel any better."

He puts his arm around my shoulders and we walk out of the circle.

"It doesn't."

He takes his arm off my shoulder and the girls walk into the center.

"Oh, finally I don't have to dance, thank you," I say sighing in relief.

They smile at me and they scroll through the songs till finding Bang Bang. Girls...oh, this is gonna hurt to watch.

Yeah, I was not far off, that hurt to watch.

I look at the clock after the girls and guys do a few more songs. It's six. I gotta get home for the fight. As June and Josie finish up their song I walk over to m stuff.

"I gotta get going, I would rather not drive home in the dark."

"Alright, I'll walk you out," L.J. says as I grab my stuff.

"Same here."

"Let's go."

I follow all guys out.

"And where do you all think you're going?" L.J.'s mom says as she is setting up the table.

"We're walking Beth out," L.J. says.

"You sure you don't wanna stay for dinner sweetie?"

"I have to get home before dark," I say with an apologetic smile.

"That's alright, thank you for coming over."

"Thanks for having me."

"Anytime."

The guys soon head out and I follow after them.

"Nice family you got there," I say turning to L.J. as I walk over to my bike.

"Thanks."

"So you guys do realize how in love those girls are with you guys right?" I say looking to them as I reach my bike.

"Yeah..." Trever says.

"So why exactly do you resent them so much?" I say as I slide on my jacket.

"Just don't like them back," A says.

"Nothing wrong with em' or anything, they are just known for sleeping around...a lot," Gray says.

"Don't wanna be in the group of people they slept with so we stay out of it," L.J. adds.

"They could be doing it to get your guys' attention," I say sliding on my helmet and buckling the bottom.

"Sure," Trever says.

I slide on my gloves and pull out my keys.

"Later guys," I say giving them each a side hug before getting on my bike.

I quickly turn it on and pull up the kickstand, making my way home. And getting ready for the fight.
