I head out the back doors and try to run instead. But I am quickly pulled to the ground anyway. They don't bag my head or tie my hands but instead of pulling a knife at me, they punch me and kick me instead like they used to do. Which makes me hopeful that they won't hurt the guys.

I take this opportunity and act like I'm in real pain, letting it affect me. Before they said doing this didn't affect me anymore and that's why beating up the others is how they got to me. Maybe if I show that this does get to me they will leave the guys alone.

I practically force tears to come out and they soon stop as I say on the ground and walk away. I wait till they are gone and hear the guys from the other side of the trees. I quickly get rid of any trace of crying and walk out. They quickly turn to me.

"Where are they?" Gray says coming closer to me.

"What did they do?" Mason says coming over to me.

"They left. You guys alright?"

"Yeah, what about you though?"

"I'm good."

"The bruise on your jaw says otherwise," Trever says.

"I'm fine. I got to get to work on a project though. See you guys later?"

"Sure."

I quickly make my way home in the spring cool air. I hide out in my room and work on some homework. So glad they forgot today was my sixteenth birthday.

I stay in bed for a few hours and it starts to get dark till I hear knocking at my door. I sigh and get up going to the door. I open the door and a pillowcase is quickly pulled over my head and I am picked up and put over someone shoulders. I let out a small scream and I am quickly brought downstairs and out the front door as I struggle away from them.

I am quickly shoved into a car and two people sit next to me as I take the bag from my head. The guys are all there smiling at me. Gray in the front seat with L.J. beside him. A and Trever sit beside me.

"The the flipping heck you guys!?!?!"

"Calm down. You really thought we forgot your birthday?" Gray says with a smile.

"I was hoping so," I say exasperated.

Gray starts the car and starts to drive.

"Where are we going?"

They stay silent.

"Of course your not going to tell me," I say crossing my arms.

They all smile at me as Gray drives.

"So when are you gonna get your drivers license?" L.J. says.

"Tomorrow, did you guys have to make it seem like you were kidnapping me?"

"Well, you wouldn't have come quietly otherwise." A says.

"I didn't come quietly anyways," I say.

"Maybe but what fun would it have been to try and convince you?" Trever says.

I shrug my shoulders and L.J. turns on music that we listen to for the rest of the ride. That is till I see the Ferris wheel. I lean forward a bit and look back to them. L.J. turns down the music.

"Figure it out yet?" A says.

"Yeah, I think the four hundred foot tall, glowing Ferris wheel gave you away," I say as I continue to stare at it.

We go into the full parking lot with the rest of the guys following behind us and end up finding two empty spots after five minutes of searching. We pull in and a smile crosses my face as we get out.

"You act like you have never been to a carnival before," Leo says smiling at me as we all walk towards the front gate.

"Yeah, that's probably because I haven't," I say still looking at the Ferris wheel and the rides that surround and loop around it.

"Are you serious? You have to be messing with us right now," Gray says looking to me.

"Nope, never been before," I say looking to them

They sigh at me and Mason puts his arm around my shoulders.

"You are a sheltered child." He says in a monotone voice.

I shrug off his arm and we walk in.

"Tonight's the last night so entry is free," Trever says smiling.

"Still gotta pay for tickets," Leo says walking to the ticket booth.

We all walk up and I just follow the guys.

"Did any of you happen to grab my bag when you kidnapped me?" I say looking over to Alan.

"It's alright we were already planning on paying for you." A says with a smirk as they hand some money over to Leo.

"Eight blue bracelets." Leo says handing over the wad of money.

She hands him eight bright blue bracelets and we walk off to the side as we each take one and put it on.

"These get you an all-access pass to every ride, booth and food place all you have to do is show them your bracelet. Although it has a twenty dollar limit on for buying stuff, not including food," Leo explains as I move it over the sleeve of my hoodie.

"Where do we go first?" L.J. says looking around.

"Depends, Beth, how many rides have you been on?" Gray says looking to me.

"Yeah...none."

"Haunted house first then Ferris wheel, we can go from there," Gray says as he starts over to a two-story house.

"You guys hear about the guy who died from a heart attack last year? Now anyone over thirty can't go in and you have to appear in perfect health to get in," Trever says looking to me from the corner of his eye.

"I was surprised they brought it back after the girl who committed suicide in there, to still bring it back after all that is like asking for a lawsuit," A says looking over to all of us.

"What about that group of friends who went in and didn't come out till they were all found covered in cuts and had to be dragged out. I bet they had to have paid a lot to get that off their backs," Mason adds.

"Or the little girl who they later found claiming she saw a monster," Gray says still looking forward.

"Oh, haha. I know you guys are trying to scare me," I say crossing my arms.

"You think we're kidding? This might be the last time they open this because of whatever will happen this year," L.J. says looking to me.

"Just because I've never been to a haunted house it doesn't make me dumb," I say with a smirk.

"Sure, Twinkle Toes," Alan says with a smirk.

I turn to glare at him. "You're bringing back the nicknames?"

"Yeah, why not? We can all have our very own nickname for you."

"I'm not a pet," I say crossing my arms.

"Sure you aren't Kitten," A says with a smirk.

"So I can have nicknames for you guys?" I say raising an eyebrow at them.

"Absolutely not," Gray says with a chuckle.

We soon reach the front of the line. Screams of the people inside come from the house and I see the guys smile at me.

"Oh, will you guys knock it off, you're not scaring me," I say turning to them.

"You should be scared, we had to have an ambulance on site this year." The guy taking the tickets says.

"Doesn't seem all that scary to me."

"Well lucky for you the last group just left, go ahead and check it out for yourself. I can only let one in at a time so you'll have to wait for your friends if you want. Another thing put this on. It'll let us see where you are and your heart rate on the screen just in case." He says handing me a bracelet.

I put it on and walk up the patio steps and to the front door, looking back and sticking my tongue out at the guys before walking in. As I do the door slams shut behind me.

I walk through the dark hallway and choose the left hall that splits off of it and go to the first room. Something quickly runs across the doorway. The room is pitch black with a small dangling light in the middle over a sign that reads,

'Find the fake wall to get out.'

I walk in the door and the wall quickly expands over the door and keeps me from walking back out. I smirk. Nice try guys, your gonna have to do better than that. I look around not seeing a fake wall but then again it is really dark. I trace my hand across the walls as I walk around till I feel something more like the side of a person body.

I quickly retract my hand and back up as the walls come alive. People dressed in black bodysuits come out of the walls with long fingers and where the eyes are supposed to be light up. They make moaning and groaning sounds as if in pain as they stumble towards me. Okay, I'll admit, this is pretty good. I look around and soon see a body shape in one wall which leads to a new room. I walk past them as they reach for me trying to grab at me.

I walk through the body shape and see one of them quickly take the spot. I look around in the disco-like room things are floating around. People dressed up as dolls all stand in a perfect statue like positions that look extremely real looking. Some look to be crying while others laugh or sit down. I take a step forward and they all turn their heads to me as creepy doll music plays. Okay, this is scary.

I walk along the wall as they slowly move like robots over to me and begin to whisper.

"We can make you beautiful too."

"Stay with us."

"You can be just like us."

"Don't you want to be beautiful?!"

They all begin to shout at me and my heart rate increases a little till I run through the door they were blocking and into the next room.

It is completely black till a floor light turns on revealing a bunch of people sitting on the floor with cut nooses around their necks. Their faces are pale and their expressions are scary, to say the least. Okay, I like this a lot. They all turn to me and speak in unison.

"Join us. Join us." They say as their jaws seem to be broken and they all stay in their places.

I walk past them about to go to the stairs but they soon jump at me and start grabbing at my legs. I quickly freak out and they trip me as I claw my way away from them till they let go of me and I make it to the stairs. Okay, this is a lot scarier then I thought it would be.

I look up the stairs and see two kids standing hand in hand at the top. Glitching as they talk.

"Come play with us." They say in cute voices.

I begin to walk up and they soon stop glitching and seem to become solid as their voices go deeper and more demanding. I quickly rush past them and go upstairs anyway as they shout after me and begin to calm down. The people with the nooses are the only thing that really got to me and made my heart rate rise.

I make it upstairs and turn the corner but as I do I am quickly tackled to the ground as someone slightly screams at me making me scream as I fall to the ground and they fall on top of me.

I quickly push away from them as they hang on to me and laughter fills the room as I see it's Gray who tackled me.

"Get off of my you a$$&*^%!" I say pushing him off me.

"Nah, I'm good here." He says as he lays on top of me.

I push him off of me and slide out from under him as they laugh at me. Alan helps me to my feet as they laugh. Gray stands up and laughs at me as well as I cross my arms. Alan wraps his arm around my shoulders as I stand with my arms crossed.

"You guys done yet?" I say in a monotone voice.

"That was priceless!" Alan says laughing at me.

"You're not scared huh?" Gray says laughing at me.

"Oh haha. I'll be getting you all back for this, just you wait." I say walking off.

"Princess."

"You are all dead," I say looking back to them as I head to the next room.
