I start to wake up and automatically know I won't be able to go back to bed, so I get up. The sunlight makes my bed warm and even comfier while I step on the carpet that I blessed with.

I look over to my alarm. Six am. So, I have time before it goes off. I take a discreet and quiet shower without waking anyone up. I change into a pair of jeans and a gray Adidas shirt with black shoes. I then put my hair into a ponytail and slide on Gray's leather jacket as it turns seven and the alarm goes off. I quickly turn it off as the hallway comes alive with ringing. I grab my backpack and stick my phone in it.

I slide it over one shoulder and go downstairs to see no one down there. I quickly grab a few bagels and put them in the toaster. Leo told me a little bit about the morning routine but mostly that they have to quickly eat in the car when they are getting out. Don't see why don't just wake up earlier but okay. I grab some cream cheese and quickly take out the bagels, putting a few more in. I soon finish as they all come rushing down the stairs.

They rush over to the kitchen when they notice me. I grab a paper towel with a bagel on it and hold it out for them.

"Yayy!!!" Asher says taking it from me.

I grab another and hand it to Rain as I have a little of mine left in my hand. Leo walks over to me and grabs one leaning against the counter like I am.

"Nice job." He says before taking a huge bite of his bagel.

"Thank you," I say finishing mine.

"Come on guys, gotta go." He says motioning for us to follow him.

We all do and he grabs his bag on his way out and we all go to the black ford, leaving the limo behind. I sit in the front with Leo while the other two sit in the back. We drop them off at their school and make our way to ours in a comfortable silence as we listen to music.

We pull in and pass by the guys parking only two empty spots from them. We both get out and when I look over I see the guys watching me with puzzled looks. I close the door and he walks to the school while I walk over to the guys.

"What you doing riding with the rich boy?"

"Getting a ride to school."

"Good to see ya, princess," Gray says giving me a side hug.

"Glad to have you back," L.J. says nodding his head.

"So what's with the ride?"

"And how are you back?"

"Got taken in by none other than his family."

"Oh, so now you really are a princess," Gray says raising an eyebrow.

"Considering I help cook the meals, and help out around the house, I am going to say no."

"So this means you will be at the party he's throwing this weekend?" Mason asks crossing his arms.

"Yeah...." I trail off.

They all look at me and smile with a sort of smile that I know they're waiting for me to notice.

"Okay, I'll bite, what are you all smiling about?"

"Nice jacket," Trever says.

"Yeah, he's not getting it back either."

"You're never giving me back my jacket? You're like a girlfriend." Gray says nudging me.

"In that case, you can have the jacket back."

"I was kidding, I got others."

"Other jackets or girlfriends?"

"Both."

"You won't have many jackets left if that's the case."

"Cause Beth will burn them all." A says with a smirk.

"Yeah, yeah."

"Beth!" Someone screams at me before I am almost tackled to the ground.

The guys all quickly look to me as I realize who almost tackled me.

"Willow, your choking me."

"Sorry." She says backing off.

"Where's Cherry?"

"Yeah...she's in juvie."

"WHAT?"

"Who's in juvie?" L.J. asks looking at me.

"Yeah, she kind of almost killed a few people after hijacking a car."

I sigh. Every time she gets out, I swear. Alan soon appears by her side before he comes and gives me a side hug.

"Am I missing something?" Gray asks looking between me and Alan.

"Yep-" Alan says putting his arm around my shoulders.

"Nope," I say take it off.

"Excuse me and Beth for a moment," Willow says pulling me to the side as we are coming to the hall.

The guys all stand away from us.

"What is wrong with you? You are surrounded by six incredibly hot and cute guys!" She says pointing to them.

"I don't know what you're talking about," I say crossing my arms.

"Are you running a fever? Are you delusional?" She asks as she puts her hand on my forehead.

I quickly take it off.

"Will you stop? You go ask them out."

"No way. I got my eye on someone else already."

I drop my head into my hand.

"Glad you're moving on, but choosing that quickly is what gets you into a mess like the last one."

"I'm not looking for long term for me, it's high school. I'm looking long term for you. And I'm telling you, they are long-term!" She says pointing to them.

I look over to them and see them all smirking at me. I look back to her and cross my arms while she puts her hands on her hips.

"Ohhh, I get you." She says.

"Huh?"

"You're afraid of getting hurt. Don't worry, if they hurt you I'll cut their-" I quickly put my hand over her mouth."

She pushes me off.

"Come on, it can be a game."

"My love life is not a game."

"You don't have a love life!" She says way too loudly making a few people look to us.

"It's not gonna happen," I say walking back to the guys and she follows with a pouty face.

When we get back she puts her hands on my shoulders. She is about to say something she will regret.

"We are gonna talk about this later." She says looking to me.

"You act as if they don't know that you want me to go out with one of them," I say right in front of the guys.

She elbows me in the gut making me almost double over. I hold my stomach as pain shoots through my stomach and all the air I had is gone. I put one hand on her shoulder.

"Ow," I say pushing her to the side as I stand up straighter.

"You alright?" Mason asks.

"Yeah. I'm good." I say dropping my hand that holds my stomach.

"Come on, show me where my classes are," Willow says putting an arm around my shoulders and walking off with me.

I quickly turn around though.

"I'll see you guys later!" I say waving 'bye'.

I quickly turn back and walk with her as she smiles at me.

"They are kinda cute," I whisper over to her.

I am not blind. I have eyes. They are pretty cute guys. Not gonna give them the chance of knowing that.

She squeals at me and I pinch her arm making her quickly stop but smile at me.

School carries on until the end. I head out the back door with a smile on my face and jacket in hand since it's getting warmer out. Until I am pulled to the side by my hair and my mouth is covered.

I am yanked to the ground and my backpack and jacket are ripped from me. It all happened so quickly but I know who it is.

"You thought you could just disappear b*&^$?" One of them says as I am pulled up by my arm.

A fist quickly makes contact with my face and they let go of me making me drop. I soon feel a sharp pain in my gut and slid back a bit more. My hair soon picks up and I am pulled up as I am punched till blood comes from my nose and I feel blood pool in my mouth.

They laugh as they see me curl into a ball when they drop me. I am kicked a few more times before they throw my things at me and walk off laughing.

I sit there for a moment before I get up and look around. I straighten out my messy hair and spit out the blood in my mouth. I wipe the blood from my nose and let the grass wipe it off as I stand up. My left eye hurts and I feel pain shoot through my head. I carefully touch it. It's swollen.

I slide on my jacket to cover the bruises they left on my arms and my backpack over that. I sigh and go to the office. I tell them I got a door slammed into my face and their jaws drop. They give me a bag of ice and I race out to the parking lot.

Tears threaten to erupt from the pain but I won't let them see they affected me. I won't give them the satisfaction.

Leo had said he is gonna go home on his own since I am hanging out with the guys after school. I make it outside, holding the ice bag to my swollen eye. A knot in my throat becomes tighter and I can't swallow it down. Meaning if I talk, my voice will break.

I force my lips to curve up into a smile when the guys come into view. Trever spots me first and points me out to the others as I walk over.

"Beth, what happened?" A says worriedly.

"Your eye looks awful," Gray says coming over to me.

He moves my hand and the ice from my eye which is close to swollen shut. He touches around it and I wince, making him quickly back off.

"Jeez."

I put the ice back to my eye and try to breathe through the knot in my throat which sadly makes the tears in my eyes close to showing.

"Hey, you alright?" Mason says as he walks over.

I nod my head instead of talking and reform my smile.

"What happened?" Trever asks.

"Was it those guys again?" Gray says with a deadly look in his eyes that I have never seen before.

And so do the others. The same deadly look. One that kinda scares me but the deadly look goes past me and is not aimed at me.

"I'm fine. You are all a bunch of girls." I say playfully elbowing Gray. Trying to change the mood.

"Your one to talk," L.J. says crossing his arms.

I roll my eyes but pain shoots in my left eye. I try to ignore it. Their deadly look slowly melts away which makes me calm down a bit more.

"So where are we going?"

"Queen Kone," Trever says with a smirk.

"Don't worry, we are not competing this time," Gray assures me

"We are waiting for someone right now though." A says crossing his arms.

"Who?"

"There he is," Mason says.

I look at where their looking. It's Alan, walking over here.

"Aw, shoot."

"What's your problem?" Gray says smiling.

I quickly take out my hair and flip it to cover my swollen eye and put the ice in my back pocket.

"Not a word about this."

"Why are you hiding your black eye?" Mason asks looking at me.

"He's kinda one of my best friends. And he will freak. So not a word."

"Alright."

He walks over to us.

"Sorry, the teacher kept me after." He says walking over to a sixth bike.

"Beth, when you turning sixteen?" Gray asks turning to me.

"May twenty-sixth."

"You mean two weeks from now?"

"I guess," I say as I fiddle with my hair a little to better hide my eye.

"Did you plan to tell us?"

"Eventually."

"When do you plan to get your license?"

"May twenty-sixth but it won't do much good, I don't have a car or my motorcycle."

"Girl." A says in a sigh.

"Yeah, yeah, I know."

"Alright, so who are you riding with?" Gray asks me.

"I don't have any extra gear," L.J says.

"Same," Mason says.

"Same here."

"Outta luck."

"I never have extra gear," Alan says.

I look over to Gray.

"You so set that up."

"Did you ever think otherwise?" He says passing me a helmet with gloves.

I slide them on, careful of my eye and the guys do the same. I turn on my communicator and I see L.J. pass one to Alan for his helmet.

Gray picks up his bike and backs up.

"Come on princess," Gray says with a smirk.

I put my hands on his shoulders and stand on the peg, swinging my other leg over. He quickly takes off making my grip tighten a bit around him, he notices and I can tell he is smirking right now.

"So how long did you two know each other?" A asks referring to me and Alan.

"Since we were six." I say.

"Yeah, she threatened to put me in a coffin in the Gulf of Mexico if I messed with her or her friend," Alan adds.

"Wow," L.J. says.

"That's how you guys became friends?"

"Yep," Alan responds.

"So what exactly made you stop being a bad*$$?"
