The guys watch smirking and I stay standing, unmoved.

"You're really pushing it aren't you Beth?"

"You kidding? It's taking everything I got not to throw a punch right now." I chuckle nervously.

He isn't really gonna do it is he? He wouldn't, right? Right? He wouldn't go that far. But my nerves are sounding the red alarm. I have never had I guy I knew this close to kissing me. This has never happened before. My heart beats a little faster from nerves and I feel shaky but I keep my arms crossed and stand unmoved.

"This is record-breaking no one has ever stood this long without kissing. Especially Gray." L.J. says like he is announcing a fight.

"I am really surprised by your self-restraint not to kiss me yourself," Gray says.

His hot breath looms over my face.

"Yeah, it's a struggle," I say jokingly

"By the red covering your face, I can tell."

"You do realize this is not gonna break me right?"

He says nothing and continues to smile at me. The guys chuckle. Is he really gonna kiss me just to get me to throw a punch? What is wrong with these guys?

"I think this is the most convincing person Gray has ever faced lady and gentlemen." L.J continues to speak.

He quickly moves his face so close to mine that our bottom lips are almost touching. I flinch about to step back as he does and drop my arms. It only makes his smile grow.

"So I can get a reaction out of you."

His hot breath attacks my face making it almost hard to breathe. I raise an eyebrow at him. When I see his head move again knowing he has the nerve and will kiss me so I move to the side and kiss him on the cheek as I step beside him and cross my arms.

"Wow, did not think you were actually going to do it." I say chuckling knowing my face is red.

"You look like a strawberry," Mason says smiling.

"Probably because his breath smelled like Doritos."

"Honestly shocked you didn't punch him."

"Same."

"Your not the only one," I say.

"Why not just the punching bag?"

"I'm...hold on I need to think of an excuse."

Mason tosses me some wraps. They won't give this up, will they?

"Why do you guys care so much?"

"Wanna see how well you can actually fight."

"I can fight. Isn't that enough?"

"Nope."

"How about this? I'll let you guys finish that episode of walking dead if you let this go."

They look at each other.

"We are only letting this go for now," Mason says rushing downstairs with everyone but Gray following.

I look over to Gray as he smirks at me.

"Were you actually going to kiss me?"

"If you didn't step off to the side, you would know."

With that, he walks downstairs. I watch him leave. He turns back to me and shakes his head at me before leaving. I stand there. What just happened?

They finish the episode and we all play Risk, board to death. See what I did there? In the end, I own the purple territory while the guys are scattered but Trever and A both own the next smallest territories.

I look over at the clock, board, and see it say 1:27 am in blue across its black frame. I look back and see L.J. look over as well, making Mason look as well.

"We should pause the game and go to bed,"  Mason says putting down the troop in his hand.

"Alright," Gray says moving a horse to another spot.

"Still sleeping in your room Beth?"

"Nope, you can all sleep in the gym room upstairs."

"You trust us to not be within your sight in your house?"

"Nevermind," I say getting up.

I yawn as I go over to grab more blankets from a closet. I go to my room and set out a bunch of blankets on the floor and put down a few pillows with some more blankets over it. As I finish the guys head in. I jump on my bed signifying it's mine.

"Not gonna share?" Gray asks me.

"Absolutely not," I say as I go under the covers.

We all lay down, tired and bored without a word. I turn off the lamp next to me and close my eyes. I reflect on everything keeping me awake a minute more till I finally fall asleep.

oOoOoNext MorningoOoOo

I slowly start to wake up and become instantly uncomfortable. Why is it so hot in here?! Did the heater freak? I go to pull off the covers but something stops me. I look over and see Gray sleeping next to me with our faces only an inch apart. From the instant shock and things running through my head, I let out a scream that sounds a lot like a shriek and fall off the side of the bed onto my back. I watch all the guys shoot up to their feet.

"What the f^&*?!"

My eyes are wide open and my heart is going a million times a minute and my breath is quick. The guys not including Gray look at the situation then smirk at me. I sit up. My chest is heaving up and down from shock.

"I thought that would work."

"How-how long were you there?!" I say sitting up.

"Few hours."

"What is wrong with you?!"

The guys laugh at my face of pure fear and anger. I fall back down on my back.

"You good?"

"NO! I almost died of a heart attack!"

"Over me?" Gray says smiling as he comes off the bed over to me.

I close my eyes and my alarm starts ringing.

"Kill me now," I say with my eyes still closed.

"C'mon, get up."

I open my eyes and see L.J. reach a hand out to me. I take it and he pulls me to my feet as Trever turns off my alarm. I let out a shaky breath.

"He had that much effect on you?"

"I wake up to see a guy sleeping in the same bed as me. Yeah, I kinda freaked."

"You weren't against-" I cut him off doing the one thing that I thought I wasn't gonna do.

I punch him, hard, in the stomach. He holds his stomach and holds onto the bed.

"Oh, s^*$#"

"Well, it worked."

"She punches like one of us!" He smiles at me while holding his stomach.

I cover my mouth. I didn't actually mean to. I lost it. I-I don't know what to say.

"I-"

"You don't need to apologize, this is what I was going for. Just not expecting it to hit that hard. She knows how to fight guys." He says standing up straight.

"Top fifty list?"

"Top Ten. Man, that actually hurt."

"I-"

"It's good. Why don't you stick up for yourself? You obviously can."

"I never wanted to, I mean look how far you had to push me to punch you. Are you okay?"

"Yeah, might leave a bruise though."

I feel sooooo bad. I know I shouldn't and I should kill him for what he had done but I feel so bad.

"You guys wanna see if the snow cleared?"

I go over to my window that has the blinds closed and look out.

"Yeah. It's uh, it's gone. But that creates a new problem."

"What is it?"

They all come over to the window.

"Yeah. That's a problem."

The melted snow turned to water. Water turns to ice. My whole backyard is a skating rink. Wait a minute...:) I run past them and go to my closet. I pull out a pair of skates and start running to the front door and they follow.

"Are you guys coming or what?"

They quickly slide on their shoes and I make my way out after sliding on my skates. I step off the steps soon meeting ice. They all follow behind me. I push off the house and glide across the ice, stopping and looking back to them.

"Yeah, don't know how to skate."

"Try getting on the ice for starters."

I smile and go down the driveway. No way the roads will be open in this. I push off and slide down the ice giving me speed as I slide around the dead-end street. The guys slowly and clumsily make their way down, soon stopping at a tree. I continue to skate around with my arms behind my back.

"It's not that hard," I say starting to skate backward.

"Looks pretty hard."

I do a few jumps and spins. After I was adopted into this family we used to go ice skating. All the guys but L.J. soon come off the tree and begin to try and skate. I go over him.

"C'mon."

I grab his wrist and pull him from the tree making him go flying. I stop him as he tries to maintain his balance.

"See? Not that bad."

He grabs onto my shoulder and pulls on it trying to keep himself up.

"You're serious?"

I hear a door open and see one of the kids from the daycare come running out on skates. He's four. He comes speeding down the driveway and starts skating around and his mother follows. I look back to L.J. and he gives me that look not to say anything so I don't. Instead, I put off a little and guide him with me.

"Keep your feet together or close unless you are pushing off. To stop, use your shoe and build enough friction to stop."

He does what I say making it easier to guide him. The guys watch us trying to copy my movements. I watch as more people come out to skate and L.J. gives up. Soon only A is still out there, struggling to keep his balance and move. I come over to him.

"Need some help?"

"I got it."

I roll my eyes as he has trouble to move. I grab his wrist and he grabs mine as I push off a little.

"Keep your legs closer together, that's how you keep control over pretty much everything."

"How could anyone possibly do this?"

"By taking the time to learn. It's really easy once you know how."

I continue to pull him around. Till finally, I let go.

"What are you doing?!"

"Put one foot off to the side and push, then repeat with the other foot to move forward. To stop use the side of both feet."

I stay just out of his reach but next to him. He does what I say but goes over to the trees next to the other guys. I roll my eyes and continue to skate around doing twirls and jumps and building as much speed as I can. I see the little boy that I babysit watch me as I do and he soon comes over to me. He grabs my shirt and tugs and I stop completely looking over to him.

He begins to ask me if I can teach him how to do the stuff I was. I comply and go down to his hight on my knees as I stake backward. I grab his hand and twirl him myself to keep him from falling. I teach him how to jump but he goes with a bunny hop that I have to stop him from falling on.

I lead him to go back carefully then turn him around so that he can twirl again. He calls out for his mom to watch everytime he learns something new at least five times to show off. Soon his mom gets tired though and comes over. She thanks me for keeping him entertained as he has a huge smile on his face and takes him inside.

I skate a little longer soon realizing there is no chance these guys will get on the ice. I finally give up trying and come over to them.

"You guys really won't try again?"

"Nope. Keep doing your thing though." Gray says smirking at me

"Fine, let's go," I say going to the yard.

The yard has a slower increase making it easier to go up. Plus the grass helps you get a grip so you don't fall. They follow and we all struggle to get up. I make it up first. Gray is about to make it up buuuttt, considering what he has done to me...I decide that revenge is sweet and when he comes close I put my hand on his shoulder and push him back down. His face goes into shock and returns back to that smirk. That dumb smirk. I return the same look and the rest of the guys make it up and Gray now makes it back up.

"That is just the start of revenge,"I say going into the house.

They follow me and I take off my skates. They all follow and I see them all smiling at me.  Something is up, isn't it?
