I grip the gold necklace between my fingers. It's the perfect addition to my yellow dress. "Your carriage my lady..." Seth gestures to his passenger seat as he holds the door open for me.

"What no motorcycle?" I joke.

Hunter gets out of the back seat and walks up to me with a corsage in his hand. I take it gratefully and put it on. They both look extremely good in their tuxes. I didn't expect them to collaborate the way they did either. Hunter has on a white collar shirt with a pastel yellow bow tie. One that has gold embroidery on it and matches my dress perfectly. Meanwhile, Seth has on the matching yellow vest with a white bow tie. They're the best prom dates I could ask for. Well...almost perfect. I know Shawn will be there but it will be as a chaperone. It's definitely not the same.

I pick up my dress and let Hunter guide me to the car.

Hunter gets in the back seat and it's not long after that we're headed to our prom. I used to dream of this day, looking at Pinterest for hours at a time for dress ideas. I never thought Jenny would be the one designing mine. Then again, I never thought I wouldn't be going with Dean. If there's anything this year has taught me, it's that things change.

Once we arrive, Jenny and Becca greet us immediately. Jenny might be seven months pregnant but her dress covers it extremely well. "You both look gorgeous." I say as I hug them, careful not to mess anyone's hair or makeup. When we first walk in, we're greeted with professional photographers who ask us if they can take our pictures. The seven of us squeeze in as close together as we can and say cheese. They take a few more pictures, each with different poses and faces. I can't wait to frame them all in my dorm next year.

We move on from the photo area so others can get a chance. Then we make our way to one of the tables. "Hey look, isn't that Mr. Morgan?" Seth points across the room to our teacher.

I whip my head around and watch as he walks in. The photographer is trying to get pictures of him. "He's taking pictures by himself?" Jenny questions.

Hunter looks at me, "One of us should go take some with him."

"I vote you Livia, you're his TA." I turn to my friends who are egging me on.

It doesn't take long for me to give in, knowing that I want to be close to him. I make my way over to him and the photographer, "Would you like some company?" I ask, walking completely up to him now.

He looks down at me, admiring my dress and lifting his hand up to touch my necklace. "I can't believe you're still wearing this." He says so softly only I can hear him.

The photographer speaks up, "This is perfect you two are matching. Lean in a little closer and smile." I do as I'm told, wrapping my arm around Shawn's back and waiting for his arm to snake around my waist and pull me in closer.

The man tells us to smile, we do so while the camera clicks and flashes multiple times. "That's good guys, alright who's next?"

Shawn and I move out of the way. "You really are matching me." I laugh, noticing his tie.

He smirks, "This old thing? It just so happens, I wore this tie to my prom."

"You did?" I ask, not being able to believe the coincidence.

Shawn nods and then looks up to the table where my friends are at. "They're staring at us." He tells me.

I follow his gaze to see that they are, "They're the ones who told me to take pictures with you." I begin to walk away, he grabs my wrist lightly.

"You look beautiful." Shawn whispers in my ear before letting me go.

I walk away with a smile on my face. "Mr. Morgan cleans up really nicely." Becca mentions.

I ignore her, trying to seem disinterested in my teacher. The truth is I have no idea how someone as attractive as Shawn could find me as beautiful as he does. Maybe he's broken.

"Come on, let's dance." Seth grabs my hand and leads me to where my entire class is dancing.

Seth wraps one arm around my waist, holding my hand up with the other. We've never really been this close before, it's a strange feeling. Not a bad one...just strange. Maybe if I never met Shawn, Seth and I would've had a chance. Then again, I might still be with Dean. "I can't believe we're graduating in a month." I say, making conversation.

He looks around to our peers, "I never thought I'd say this but, I'm actually going to miss this place." Even though he's only been here a little while, our group has had an impact on him. He always said that in New York he didn't have many friends. Now he has six. I turn my head and see Jenny lay her head on Jake's shoulder. They sway to the slow song playing, completely and utterly in love. On the other side of the room is Luke and Becca, laughing at the dessert table as they stuff cake in each other's faces.

Everyone seems so happy, "I know exactly what you mean."

Seth meets my eyes, "At least you'll have me in New York. I'll show you all the ropes." His eyes are filled with kindness and I know he's looking forward to it. Then he becomes serious for a moment. "I don't know what happened to you exactly, but the way everyone acts around you I can tell it's not good. Are you still trying to decide whether or not you should go to the wedding?" After Jenny told me I had two months to think about it, I tried to clear it from my mind.

"To be honest, I haven't thought about it much." I need to talk to Shawn about it. He can help me decide what to do. As for the other thing... "I know you don't know much, no one is telling you anything and I'm sorry. You're right, it is bad and they're waiting for me to tell you on my own."

Seth hesitates but nods, "I understand, we'll have all of college to talk about that. For now let's finish this dance." He twirls me around and finishes off the song with a small dip.

I see Hunter walking up to us so I quickly kiss Seth on the cheek, "Thanks for being a good friend." I graze my finger across the lipstick I left on his face and turn to Hunter.

"Can I have the next dance?" He holds out his hand so I take it, waiting for Seth to cut in for someone else. "You know kissing him probably wasn't the best idea. I think he's in love with you."

I laugh lightly and shake my head, "He has a crush on me, there's a difference." Besides, I've made it abundantly clear that we're staying friends. I meet Hunter's eyes, "What about you? I see the way you look at him." It's not often that we're all in the same room together but days like last weekend make it clear Hunter likes him. At the very least, he finds him attractive.

"Seth?" He shakes his head, "Seth is straight as a board."

I shrug, "Maybe he's bi, you've never really bothered to ask." Seth never really talks about his sexuality. Maybe he's scared he'll be judged but, we're the last friend group to judge. "I could be your wingman." I suggest, even if it's pointless to stir something up. He's going back to New York after this year.

Hunter eyes me up and down, "In that dress, there's no way you're a man. Still, I can flirt by myself."

The song ends and another one plays while we continue to dance. "Fair enough." I leave it alone, knowing there's a possibility he's still not over Joseph.

The slow songs come to a pause while some more upbeat ones begin to play. The seven of us begin to dance with each other. I bump hips with Becca and Jenny while laughing playfully. Aside from graduation, this might be the last time we're all together. So I revel in the time spent with my friends, trying to seize the moment. We've never been popular in high school, but we always stuck together.

Before too long the prom king and queen are announced. They're both athletes for the school, very well liked and a very cute couple. Flowers aren't really involved but they do get sashes and crowns that the prom committee chipped in on. It's all pretty normal.

"Ahem." Shawn says from behind me. I look behind me to see him, "Meet me in my classroom, five minutes." A small smile reaches his lips, I wonder what he's planning.

Whatever it is, I'm sure it's worth sneaking away. "Okay." I agree, waiting for him to leave first.

Once he's out of sight I let my friends know that I'll be back. Seth and Hunter are dancing together and the rest are too busy with their dates to ask any real questions. It's an easy getaway.

I walk down the dark and empty halls, making my way to Shawn's classroom. I see candlelight in the classroom and open the door. There are a few candles on desks and flower petals on the ground. Soft music is even playing. Shawn looks up at me from lighting the last candle. "Who says I can't be romantic?"

I walk in fully, closing the door behind me. "Shawn this is-" He walks up to me and lifts my chin.

"Wait, there's something I want to say." He softly tells me. "I know this isn't exactly ideal, and I tried to fight myself over you for the longest time. What we've been doing isn't right but no matter what I do I can't seem to care. I guess I just wanted you to know that this isn't just a fling to me."

His eyes are brightened by the candlelight, such green intensity that I can't look away from. I intertwine my fingers through his, "This has always been so much more. I wish we didn't have to leave each other soon."

"I wanted to wait until the right time to tell you this but, I got the job I wanted. I won't be in Colorado anymore I'll be-"

I bring my hand up to his face to stop him. "Please don't tell me, unless you want me to follow you." I smile. I know that I'll be tempted to, that's why I didn't ask him about it when I read the email. It'll be better for the both of us if I don't know.

Shawn nods, seeming to understand where I'm coming from. "I love you, Livia. I'm always going to love you."

But we're almost at the end of our story, and we have to move on. "I love you too." He brings me in, pressing his lips against mine in a soft yet demanding way. I run my fingers through his thick hair, earning a groan from him. It's enticing and addicting in the same way. I want him to feel as good as he makes me feel.

Shawn wraps his arms around my waist, bringing me as close in as he can. My dress makes it difficult because I need more. Soon, his tongue finds its way in my mouth, massaging mine like it's meant to be there. My hands move to his broad shoulders, needing to feel them beneath the clothes. I waste no time in taking his suit jacket off, it falls to the ground easily. "Please." I beg, needing to feel his skin pressed against mine.

Shawn reaches behind me, gripping the zipper on the back of my dress and sliding it all the way down. I let the dress fall to my feet and slide out of my heels. Now that the biggest barrier is gone, Shawn grabs me and lifts me up. I wrap my legs around his waist as we begin to move backwards toward the desk. Shawn uses one arm to hold me up and the other to clear everything off of the desk. Papers and pens mix with the flower pedals Shawn had placed on the ground. A soft moan escapes my lips once he sets me down on my back and hovers over me. I undo the buttons on his shirt, moving the fabric out of the way to reveal his hard chest.

I run my fingers down before reaching his belt. I need it off, I need him inside of me. Shawn lets me take the belt off and takes off the rest himself. It's not long before his fingers trace the hem of my panties, pulling them down ever so slowly. He's teasing me and he knows it. Within seconds, Shawn is hovering over me again, now centered perfectly between my thighs. I gasp as he moves inside of me slowly and grab his forearms to hold onto. Shawn kisses my neck, grazing his teeth against me sending goosebumps throughout my whole body. I never thought someone could make me feel this good and I don't think anyone other than Shawn could. Shawn picks up his pace and holds onto his desk so hard I can only imagine his knuckles are turning white. He feels so perfect inside me, so right. I can't help but moan at the pleasure, any harder and he'll send me over the edge in no time.

Shawn lovers his mouth all the way down to my breasts. The way he licks and sucks me while continuing to thrust is too much to handle. I feel the pressure building in my stomach, daring to explode. I close my eyes, feeling the intensity. Shawn stops his assault on my chest, "Look at me." He demands. I force myself to open my eyes and see those green irises staring back at me. He's not just fucking me, he's making love to me and he wants me to know it. I come undone almost immediately, unable to contain the pressure. My legs begin to shake before stilling completely. Shawn stops his movements, allowing me to catch my breath and come back to reality. Then he slips out of me and stands, still as hard as a rock. "Stand up and bend over." The way he talks to me is so appealing that I waste no time in doing what he says.

I've never done this position before, it's strange and I'm not really sure what to expect. My forearms press against the wood of the desk, cold at first but I get used to it. Shawn must sense my nervousness because he leans in to whisper in my ear, "Do you trust me?"

"Yes."

He presses his lips against my cheek before standing back up. I feel his fingers wrap through my hair, pulling gently. Then he moves my legs so that my feet are shoulder width apart. I feel his dick press against me making sure I'm ready. Then he's inside me, as far in as he can go. I hold onto the desk like he did before, needing the extra support. I've never felt anything like this, he feels deeper, so much deeper. "How does that feel?" He asks.

"So good." Is all I can manage. Shawn pulls at my hair every time he moves out, it forces me to stare at the white board. I don't know why, but I like it a lot. It's like he's taking complete control of my body, and he knows how to make me feel the most.

Shawn let's go of my hair after a few moments, his hands hold onto my hips and he goes so fast that it almost makes my knees buckle. I swear in euphoria and try to meet his thrusts. We move in rhythm with each other, like puzzle pieces that fit perfectly together. I know that no one will ever be able to make me feel this way.

The pressure builds again and I can't believe I'm going to come a second time but he's close too. I can feel his movements slowing down and getting sloppier. I cover my mouth, knowing I won't be able to hold in the scream from pure euphoria. He groans and fills inside of me, pressing himself completely against me.

We both catch our breaths before finally pulling apart. "I've been thinking about fucking you on that desk for months now." He admits as we put our clothes back on.

I turn so he can help me zip up my dress, "Oh yeah? Why haven't you?" Now that I know how good it is, I want to do it all of the time.

"Because it's always been too risky, but no one leaves the gymnasium during school dances." Making us totally and completely alone.

I walk up and help him fix his tie. He smiles at me, "Your hair is a little messed up." I try to fix it up the best I can. I had it down in long waves so it's probably just a little out of place. "We should probably get back." He says.

I nod, "We can't go back at the same time, it'll be too suspicious."

"You go first, I have to clean this up anyway." Shawn kisses my forehead before I sneak out of his classroom and make my way back to prom.

When I get back no one seems to have noticed I was gone all that long. "Hey girl, we're all going to go get some food. Do you want to come?" Jenny asks.

I check my phone for the time, "It's almost ten what's open?"

"Breakfast mostly, are you in?" I look up to see Shawn walking back in. Some students go up to take pictures with him but he keeps glancing back up at me.

I turn back to my friend. "Yeah...I'm in." Prom might be over now, but I'm not going to lie and say that I didn't have a wonderful night.
