Thank you for the support! I hope you enjoy!

Okay... let's get introductions out of the way and back to the story,

I am the author of the book Behind Classroom Doors, That book was solely mine and no one else's. Non of the characters are real people. The same goes for the events happening.

This book is the sequel, which means if you haven't read the first one you won't understand it so I suggest you go read that one :)

This book has the same characters and even some new ones so the same rules apply.

I revised and re-uploaded so if you've read this before and it doesn't match up-that's why.

Also no hate, It's very simple if you don't like my book then don't read it.

I hope you really enjoy my book and I thank you for sticking with me through the sequel. I love you all and you've helped me fulfill my dreams of being a writer!

So, without further a-due enjoy the sequel...

August 14th

If someone would've told me a year ago that I was going to fall out of love with Dean, and into love with my-now professor, I would've thought they were crazy. Yet here I am, on my way to Mr. Morgan's apartment so we can talk.

He messaged me shortly after his class with his address, and told me to be there at six. I spent the rest of my first day thinking about Shawn. Thinking about how he's actually here, in New York with me. I feel so stupid, asking him not to tell me. We could've spent these past two weeks together but I just didn't want to know.

The taxi pulls into the building Dianne and my parents designed last spring. "No way." I say out loud.

Dianne must've given him the apartment she had made for herself. "That'll be $16.22." The man informs me. I get my card out and swipe it, quickly getting out to see Shawn.

He's sitting on the steps, waiting for me. When he notices me, he stands up and smiles. I've missed his smile more than I'd like to admit. I can't help but run up to him and jump into his arms. Shawn lifts me up and twirls me around, just like in the movies. "I still can't believe you're here." I say once he puts me down.

"You have no idea how many times I wanted to tell you. Spring break, Prom, I almost did it on the airplane." He chuckles. "Come on, we can talk inside."

He holds out his arm for me to take. I let him guide me inside the building I've been inside many times before. It seems to be up and running fairly well, "Your mom's business is doing good." I mention.

Shawn nods. "Yeah and she does most of it from Colorado." We walk around back to the elevator and make our way up to his apartment.

Back in March, this apartment was absolutely perfect. It had all of the features I've always wanted in a place. Shawn opens the door and gestures for me to go inside before him. Shawn's pictures from his uncle's house are now hanging on the walls. The couch in the living room has throw pillows and a blanket, his coffee table consists of books he's been reading and coasters.

Shawn comes up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist. I lean into him, "I'm glad you're here with me now."

I take in a deep breath and turn around, placing my hand on his chest. "Except we still have the same problem...you're my teacher again."

His thumb reaches up to touch my lips, "I don't want to think about that right now. Let's just be here together for tonight."

"Well then what did you want to talk about?"

He smiles, pulling away and walking over to the kitchen. "I was hoping I could make you dinner and we could talk about anything."

"Woah there." I joke as I walk over to the island and sit down. "We might turn into a real couple if we do real couple things."

I watch him pull things out of the fridge with a happy look on his face. "Would that really be so bad?"

Actually it's everything I've ever wanted for us. "No, it wouldn't."

While he cooks dinner I talk about Jenny and how Noelle is doing. He asks for pictures so I happily oblige. Then we talk about my roommate, Katie. Afterwards Shawn tells me about how he's been settling in and adjusting to living in New York. He talks about the classes he had today and how awesome it feels to be a professor. I listen intently, not missing everytime he glances at me like I'm the only other person on this earth.

In all honesty, everything feels so surreal. Like I'm dreaming and will wake up at any moment. "You're staring." Shawn tells me.

"I was just realizing that it's been a year since we met." I've never been big on anniversaries. Especially considering I was proposed to on my last one.

I'm willing to make an exception for Shawn. "You're right, I'm glad I invited you over then." Shawn leans over the island counter to kiss me. It's quick and swift but I already feel like melting.

"You hated me a year ago." I mention.

Shawn washes his hands and drys them as he says, "I never hated you, Livia. I just didn't like seeing you and Dean all over each other."

"Ah yes, I remember the detention." It's now that I realize he never gave Dean and I detention together. "Did you like me, even from the start?"

He hesitates at an attempt to gather his thoughts. "I think something drew me to you. Like seeing you and Dean together particularly bothered me over the other couples in that school. I think subconsciously, I liked you. Of course I never would've admitted it to myself then."

I can understand that. I felt the pull too. "While the chicken cooks, what do you want to do?" Shawn asks.

"I have a few ideas."

I ended up staying the night, enjoying every bit of our time together. Now I'm brushing my teeth and attempting to put my hair up at the same time. "It's still so early...are you sure you have to leave?" Shawn asks, walking in the bathroom and looking at me through the mirror.

I turn the water on and spit the toothpaste into the sink. "I wish I could but I need to get fresh clothes before class."

"Maybe you should leave some here."

I turn the water off and turn around to him. "Shawn what is this? I know you wanted to wait before we talked but, last year you were scared to be together. Now you're what? Over it?"

He sighs, leaning against the wall. "The same consequences still apply. NYU has a strict no teacher and student relationship policy. For some reason, I just don't care. It's my career but I'm sick of fighting my feelings for you. It doesn't work and only hurts us in the end."

"So you want to be together?"

He nods. "I know I won't be able to give you a normal relationship but yes. Livia, I want to be your boyfriend."

I've never heard him even say that word before when referring to us. He's actually standing there telling me he wants us to be together. "If you're serious then...I want to be with you."

Shawn cups my face and pulls me to him in a passionate kiss. It doesn't take long for my fingers to find their way through his hair. Before I know it, he's lifting me up and moving back to set me on the sink. I pull him closer, needing to be with him. "Wait, stop." I say against my own will. His lips come to a stop. "I have to go back to my dorm." I remind him, jumping off the sink and kissing him really quickly. "To be continued." I promise before rushing out to get home.

Walking down the steps, I stop when I see a familiar face. "You're stalking me."

"Livia." Jack Briers looks back at the door that I just came out of. "I was just looking for Dianne Morgan."

I check my watch. "It's a little early for business isn't it?"

He sighs, rubbing the back of his neck. "You're here." He points out.

"Touche." I say at the same time the doors open and Shawn walks out, ready to head to the school. We both look at each other and then look at Jack.

"This place isn't open until 9am. You can come back then." Shawn tells him as he walks down the stairs to me.

Jack reaches out his hand. "My name is Jack Briers, I was actually hoping I could see Dianne Morgan."

They shake hands but I can't help but stare at the two of them. Side by side they actually look a lot alike. "She's in Colorado but I'm her son Shawn, can I take a message or-"

"You're Shawn Morgan, her son?" He nods. "Oh, I don't have a message. It was nice to meet you." Jack turns to me. "It was nice seeing you again, Livia."

"You too."

He walks away, getting into his very expensive car and driving off. "You've met him before?"

"Yeah, twice...weird huh?" I lift up and kiss his cheek, "I really have to go now."

His smirk is exhilarating, "I'll see you in class, Ms. Gardner."

I get through Shawn's class without thinking much about Jack and why I seem to continuously run into him. When I get to Criminal Justice and see Katie it becomes all I can think about. She sits beside me and leans in to tell me how hot she thinks our professor is.

Professor Samuel Wilkins introduced himself yesterday as Sam. He talked about how old Professor Wilkins made him feel and seems light hearted and funny. I agree that he's very attractive with thick black hair and honey-colored eyes.

Criminal Justice is Katie's major so I think she'll enjoy the class a lot more than I will. "Hello everyone, this is only our last class for the week so lets cover canvas and how you can access your assignments through it." I do what he says step by step and listen intently while he dives deep into our first unit.

It once again takes my mind off of Jack Briers for the class period. I chopped it down to just a coincidence and decided to leave it alone. New York is a big city, I'm sure it won't happen again.

I only have one more class today, my very first college writing class. Today is our first day so I make it a point not to be late. "I'll see you back at the dorms?" Katie asks me.

"Yeah, sorry about last night I just...had somewhere to be."

She shrugs, "Seth right? It's cool your boyfriend followed you from Colorado."

I stop and turn to her. I've mentioned Seth a few times but I guess I forgot to mention our relationship. "He is not my boyfriend. He's just a good friend."

Her arms come up in a mock surrender before we part our ways. Up until today I was technically single. The fact that Shawn wanted to put a label on our relationship is still a shock to me. We spent so much time in a confused state of mind, and after only a summer apart he's suddenly okay with it now? I don't want to question him or his feelings for me but, it's definitely something I'm going to have to get used to.

Shawn Morgan, part teacher, part boyfriend. I hope he's as serious about it as he seemed to be this morning. If not, I'm in for a long year.

I lean against the door frame with my arms crossed over my chest. "I can't believe you get your own office." I say in disbelief. It's connected to his classroom and very nicely furnished.

Shawn notices me, "It comes with the job." I push myself off the door frame and walk over to his desk. "Am I seeing you tonight?"

I shake my head. "I told my roommate I'd be home. She thinks I snuck off to Seth's last night."

He frowns, "What did you tell her?"

"I told her the truth. That Seth and I are just friends."

"What about your other friends, do you think you'll ever tell them about us?" I didn't think it was an option to tell my friends, or anyone for that matter.

I'm aware that they're no longer in the same school as us but Shawn is still my teacher. "I figured I would tell them by sending them the invitation to our wedding. You know, when I'm long out of school and it doesn't matter if you date me." Let alone marry me.

Shawn opens his mouth to say something but my phone starts ringing. I pull it out of my pocket and answer it. "Hey, Hunter." I greet, noticing Shawn has gone back to his computer.

"I have some awesome news!" He announces in excitement.

I laugh and move the phone to my other ear. "Oh yeah? What's that?"

"This is going to sound crazy but Seth asked me to move there and be roommates with him. I'm painfully bored here in Brookview so I said yes!"

I can't believe he actually agreed to what I suggested. "That's awesome, when are you coming down?" I ask my friend.

Shawn looks up, trying to hear our conversation. "Seth has an aunt who owns an apartment complex so she cut us one hell of a deal. My flight is next week." I have to admit I'm a little shocked.

This is happening extremely fast but I push that thought down. "I'm happy for you, send me the details and I'll be with Seth to pick you up from the airport."

"I'm so excited to have a life again, you have no idea." He seems so happy. "I have to go pack but I'll talk to you later." Just like that he hangs up.

Once my phone is back in my pocket, I turn to Shawn. "Apparently, Hunter and Seth are moving in together."

"Down here?" I nod. "Wow, I guess we should tell him I'm here then."

"Yeah, if Seth doesn't first." I told Seth about Mr. Morgan being my professor on our first day of school. He promised to sign up for his class next semester but didn't think much of it. Hunter is the only person who knows about us and I'll see him in a week.

There's a knock on the already opened door, bringing both of our attention to professor Sam in the doorway. "Am I interrupting something?" He questions, walking in.

Shawn shakes his head, "Of course not, this is just one of my students-"

"Livia Gardner, right?"

I nod. "Right."

"She's in my class too." He explains to Shawn. "Anyway, I was just coming to see how you were adjusting to this school."

I look between the both of them. "I should leave you two alone." I dismiss myself as I walk past Professor Sam and out of his office. The last thing we're going to need is another teacher getting suspicious of us.

When I make it back to my dorms, Seth is sitting outside my door. "How long have you been out here?"

He stands up, giving me a soft smile. "Not that long, have you talked to Hunter?"

"Yeah, he told me he was moving in with you."

I open my door and gesture for Seth to follow me inside. He plops on my bed, causing him to bounce. "Thanks for the advice. Now I won't have to deal with my creepy roommate anymore." He sits up on his elbows and watches me set my things down. "Speaking of my creepy roommate, he said there was a party this weekend."

"What kind of party?" I ask.

"The kind where you drink and have college experiences at. It could be fun, plus you can bring Katie." I'm not so sure I'm ready to go to college parties and have those experiences yet. Maybe if Shawn wasn't here, I wouldn't have thought twice about it. Now, everything has changed.

The question is should I let things change? "Let me get back to you on that." I decide. Seth moves over so that I can lay on the other half of the bed. We both stare at the ceiling in comfortable silence.

After a few minutes, Katie walks in mumbling angrily to herself. "Stupid assface thinks I need charity I-" She stops when she sees us on the bed. "I'm sorry, I didn't think anyone would be here."

Seth and I sit up to look at her. She's in her work clothes, "Did something happen at the diner?"

Katie scoffs and puts her hands on her hips. "Only the most embarrassing thing ever." She runs her hands through her hair in frustration. "The one guy that paid for us a couple of weeks ago came back and asked for me specifically."

"Jack?"

She snaps her fingers and points to me, "Yes! That's his name. Anyway he kept asking me questions about myself, clearly flirting with me. Then," She pulls out two hundred dollar bills from her pocket and shows it to us, "He tipped me two hundred dollars!"

Seth gets a confused look on his face. "Wait and that's a bad thing?"

"Yes, because I'm not a charity case. Mr. Richy handsome pants, doesn't get to feel bad for me. I do just fine." I push down the laugh at her nickname for Jack and stand up.

I grab her shoulders and move her to face me. "It's fine, I'm sure he doesn't think you're a charity case."

Katie sighs, "I hate men." She shoves the money back in her pocket. "I'm giving him the money back."

Seth stands up and walks to the door. "That's my cue to leave. Let me know about that party, Livia." He nods a goodbye to Katie before heading out.

I turn to my roommate, "What party?" She asks, completely switching from Mr. Richy handsome pants. "You're going to a party?"

I sit on my bed, "Well that depends, will you be coming with me?" I would feel so much better if another girl was with me.

"Considering I just got mad over two hundred dollars, I could use a night out." I nod in agreement.
