In this chapter Jason frees Alejandro the real one this time no tricks or anything I promise.

Well here's a new chapter enjoy :)

~Jason~

I found the building and it was swarming with guards from left to right. I have to find a way in if I'm gonna save Alejandro.

"Whose there?" I heard a guard call out.

My heart dropped as I thought they have discovered my location.

"It's just a bird. You're starting to get paranoid," Another of the guards answered.

I let out a sign and leaned against the tree. That was a close one, I gotta be fast and careful.

I ran around the building to find the entrance and stopped when I saw part of the building start to open up.

"Wow," I said in awe. "Seems that he replaced the doors now."

I waited for the guards to clear out and before it closed i quickly ran in. I hid behind the many machines and tried to contact Alejandro again but I didn't get any response.

"Guess I gotta do this the old fashioned way," I whispered to myself as I checked to see if the close was clear.

I started to run through the entire building as fast as I could and everything around me moved in slow motion. I ran through each room trying to find him. It worked last time when we first escaped this place so I guessed it would work again.

I kept this up and I was getting no where. It seemed as if this building had one to many rooms.

"Take the stairs to your right when you get to the next corner."

I heard a voice tell me, but it didn't sound like Alejandro's voice. I did as the voice said and took the stairs to my right and headed down stairs.

"Go all the way down the stairs and head through the double doors at the end of the hall. Two guards are in there so be prepared."

"Alright thanks," I replied mentally to her. Which I'm assuming since it sounded like a girls voice.

I ran through the double doors and saw two guards standing near a bunch of monitors and buttons. I knocked them out and stood still to look around the room as it went back to normal speed.

I looked at a large circular tank filled with water and a person was floating inside with tubes attached to his body.

"Alejandro..." I mumbled to myself.

I turned to the monitor and pushed the release button. The water started to get sucked out of the tank and the tubes detached themselves from his body.

I kicked the glass and caught Alejandro as he started to fall towards me.

"Alejandro," I called out softly as I held him in my arms.

"Ja..son," Alejandro spoke as his voice shook whilst saying my name.

"Yeah it's me," I replied as a smile made its way to my lips.

Alejandro started to move around and his eyes slowly started to open, "Jason you came."

"Why wouldn't I come?" I questioned. "I'll always be here for you." I wrapped my arms around him as I said the last part.

Alejandro hugged me back, "Thanks."

I pulled away and I got both of us on our feet. "Can you stand?" I asked as I let him go.

"Whoa..." Alejandro said stumbling down.

I quickly caught him before he fell and our eyes met as I did so. I swallowed and threw his arm over my shoulder and placed my arm on his waist, "I gotcha."

"Thanks. I haven't been mobile in a long time and my muscles still need to adjust," Alejandro replied as he gave me a comforting smile. "You've gotten taller."

"Yeah well its been awhile since you last saw me," I told him and felt my white cheeks turn red as he noticed I've grown.

I'm now 5'8 so I grew a couple of inches.

"Don't move or we'll fry you!" One of the guards yelled as a whole bunch of them swarmed in the room.

The guards started to move aside as somebody started to come through. I narrowed my eyebrows as I saw him walk in. I knew I was going to run into him but I would have wanted it to be later rather than sooner.

"Doesn't this look familiar," Dr. Hartman said as he made his way to the front of the guards. "You didn't think I was just gonna let you get away did you?"

"Probably not but I was kind of hoping we'd meet so I can finally end this," I told him as I gave him a furious look.

"Really and how do you expect to get out alive?" Dr. Hartman questioned as he looked at Alejandro. "He's too weak to help you and you can't take on everyone. This is payback."

I looked at Alejandro and he gave me a sad look, "Not today." He whispered in my ear so only I heard him.

I nodded and turned my attention back to Dr. Hartman, "You're right this does look familiar and you wont get your payback today,"

"Quick get..." Is all we heard from Dr. Hartman as I teleported us out of the building and back to the tree from earlier.

"I will never get used to that," Alejandro said as he gave out a slight chuckle.

I laughed a little bit as he looked so cute when he laughed. It was great to see his smiling face again, even though his lips and cheeks looked colorless.

Alejandro let out a sigh as he took my hand off of his waist. He started to walk passed to a beam of sunlight shining through the trees. I watched whilst the sunlight covered his whole body.

I saw him tighten his fists and heard his knuckles crack. Alejandro smiled whilst he walked back towards me.

"Did you get your strength back?" I asked a little sad now that I couldn't hold him anymore.

"I'm not at full strength but I'll be absorbing sunlight along the way there," Alejandro answered.

I frowned a little bit and I guess he noticed as he put his hand on my shoulder. "Just like old times," Alejandro said giving me a smile whilst he picked me up bridle style.

He flew us up into the noon sky and flew higher and higher til we could almost touch the clouds. This is the second time I've been flying and it was just as great as the first time. Without knowing I leaned my head against Alejandro's shoulder and smiled.

"Just like old times," I mumbled to myself.

Thanks to Jason I was now out of Dr. Hartman's grasp. I looked at him with a smile whilst we headed towards the others. Memories from the past surfaced and I remembered them as if it was just yesterday.

Another smile appeared on my lips.

Wait what am I thinking? I'm with Robert and Jason and I are just friends.

"Are you alright?" Jason asked as he saw my frowning face.

"Yeah I'm fine Jason, uh Flash," I told him correcting the name since he was in uniform. "How far are we?"

"Just one more town and we're there," Flash answered whilst giving me a comforting smile.

I picked up speed and we arrived to the site in no time.

I landed both Jason and I were Brave Heart was.

"Ale...Ace it's you," She said giving me a hug as she corrected herself from revealing my real name.

"Yeah It's me but there's no time for talk. Where's Aero and the clone?" I asked as I noticed Flash flinch when I mentioned Aero.

"Aero, Artemus, Torch, and Multi-man are trying to hold back Ace; I mean your clone while Shadow comes back with his back up plan to stop the clone. The rest of the team is almost here. They're fighting him further up town but they're not doing so good," She answered whilst she let go of me.

"What there's more team members?" I asked her in surprise.

"Yeah but we can't talk about that now," Brave Heart said to me with wide eyes.

"Alright then I'll go help. You two try to get a hold of Shadow and tell him to hurry with his back up plan," I ordered them whilst I started to float away.

I quickly flew as fast as I could to go help the others and I stopped as I saw Torch flying at me whilst on fire.

"I'll get you clone!" He yelled as he tried to punch me.

I grabbed his fist and held him tight so he wouldn't get loose, "Torch it's me."

"You can't fool me!" He yelled as he struggled to get out of my grip.

"Felix it's me Alejandro..." I whispered silently so nobody else could hear whilst I let go of his hands.

"It is you how did..."

Torch got cut off as we heard a loud boom come from behind him, "It will have to wait till later." Torch nodded and we both flew towards the sound as fast as we could.

I saw my clone standing over Aero who was laying on the ground with a hurt expression on his face. Rage filled me up and I flew towards him and punched the clone away from him.

"Is that you?" I heard Aero ask with a shaky voice.

I turned to look at him and gave him a sweet smile, "Yeah it's me."

"Awe isn't that sweet," Artemus said as she looked at us but then her face got serious. "But save it for later we got to take care of this impostor."

I stretched out my hand and Aero took it freely, "We'll talk later."

Aero was about to speak but he was interrupted by my clone. "You don't belong here," he said as he glared at me.

"This is your last chance to come quietly and take responsibility for your crimes," I told him with a calm tone.

"Sorry but I wont give up so easily," The clone replied. "Your way wasn't working and now I'll be taking over your duties."

"He said he was taking over your duties," Multi-man said whilst he busted out laughing.

"Whatever you all will kneel before me and by the way my new name is Superior," He added as he came at us.

I flew towards him but since I wasn't at full strength he grabbed me and smashed me through a nearby skyscraper. I let out a gasp as he punched me in the stomach. He then gripped his fist and punched me in the face.

I grabbed his fist before he could punch me again and kicked him away from me. Aero came up from behind and grabbed Superior tightly. I took advantage of that and quickly punched the clone twice before he could get out of Aero's hold.

Superior kicked me away whilst he broke out of Aero's grasp. He was about to punch Aero but Artemus grabbed Superior by his cape and slammed him on the ground. She still held onto his cape and she swung him around and threw him towards me.

I gripped my fist and punched Superior in the face as hard as I could. A huge sound wave came out of the impact whilst it shattered some of the windows on the skyscrapers.

"Damn," I whispered as I shook my fist in a little pain. "Still not at full strength."

"Are you alright?" Aero asked. He probably heard me since his hearing is way better than mine.

"Yeah it's nothing really," I answered as I tightened my fist whilst giving him a reassuring smile.

"We told Shadow that you came back and he called off his back up plan. He's on his way back," Flash said as he appeared in front of me.

"Alright than," I told him him but then my face went a little puzzled. "How did you teleport here?"

"Oh I tagged you when we landed so I wouldn't lose you again," Flash said as he gave me a sweet and innocent smile.

I smiled back and was about to speak when Aero beat me to it, "A little help here guys."

Flash and I both turned to look at Aero and he was dogging Superior's attacks. We both ran to Aero's aid and I stopped Superior's fist before it impacted on Aero whilst Flash began to hit Superior with fast punches.

I clenched my fist and hit Superior in the gut. He let out a small gasp. I was about to punch him again but he grabbed my throat before I could.

"Let him go," Flash yelled as he used one of his knives to try an stab the clone on his arm.

Flash's knife broke as it touched his arm. Superior let out a small laugh as he noticed it. "Did you really think that would work?" He asked as he pushed Flash away before turning his attention back to me. "I know you're not at your full strength and so you wont be able to stop me."

The clone gripped my throat tighter as he grabbed the top of my head with his other hand, "So long Ace." I grabbed his hands trying to pry them off but I couldn't. He was right, I wasn't strong enough.

"I may not be strong enough but I got something you don't," I told him gasping when he tightened his grip.

"And what might that be?" He questioned with amusement.

"Friends," I replied whilst Aero came from his side and punched him square in the face.

Superior let me go as he began to stumble backwards. Before he could regain his balance Flash came out of nowhere and punched him. The amount of speed he was going improved his strength and he made Superior fall back on his butt.

I quickly reacted and kicked Superior down onto the pavement.

"Now!" I heard Artemus scream out.

I saw Multi-man well I saw a lot of Multi-man two dozen of them actually. They came running towards my direction with those staffs that he used when we had our little fight back in London. All of them were about to strike at once.

"Move Ace!" Artemus yelled out to me. I did as she ordered and quickly moved out of the way.

"Ah!" He let out a harsh yell as he started to get shocked by them. After a moment passed Multi-man stopped shocking him and all of his copies started to disappear.

Flash, Artemus, Aero, and I went over to him as he stood over my clone's body.

"Do you think that did it?" Multi-man asked poking Superior on the leg.

"Of course it worked," Artemus said confidently whilst putting one leg on the clones chest. "Not even the real Ace could have sustained that."

They all turned their stares at me and I gave them a confused look before I spoke, "Why are you all looking at me; I don't know if I could ok."

They gave me blank looks and then Artemus opened her mouth to speak. "Well no..." Artemus stopped as she screamed whilst Ace grabbed onto her leg and threw her off of him.

Superior let out a gasp as I kicked him down before he could get up. I jumped on him so he wouldn't escape.

"Multi-man try it again," I yelled as I pinned Ace's hands on to the ground.

"It wont work a second time," He yelled as his eyes started to glow red.

My eyes widened as I knew what was going to happen next. Two red beams shot out of his eyes and impacted on my chest. I flew off of him and smashed into the building three stories high.

I let out a gasp as I grabbed my chest as it burned. This was going to be harder than I thought. I can't believe I'm capable of that much power. "Now I know what it felt like when Freak Show took control of me and made me fight the team."

Sorry I ended it but I felt like it would take forever to read this so I cut it up into two parts. So I'm sorry for cutting it off again even though I said I was going to stop doing that. :(
