This is the next day and since everyone saw Freak Show kill Ace they couldn't keep a low profile about it.

They are having the funeral in Florida and they are also building a giant statue of an A in his honor.

So please enjoy this new chapter :)

"Uh..." I groaned whilst letting out a sigh. I sat there on the edge of the mountain side far from anywhere the team could find me. I didn't want to be seen nor heard from.

Alejandro died and there is nothing I could do to bring him back. It's all Freak Show's fault, he killed him and I don't even know how.

"Damn it!" I yelled as I picked up a rock and threw it towards the sky.

"What's wrong?"

I heard a familiar voice ask as it flew towards me. At first it was a shadow cause of the sun's blinding rays, but then I got a better look at it.

"Alejandro..." I mumbled as I saw him get closer.

"Hey Robert," Alejandro said as he hovered in front of me.

"How is this possible?" I asked whilst I stood up to meet him eye to eye. "I saw you vanish when you got zapped by Freak Show's lazier gun."

"I'm not sure myself but who knows the world is a strange place," He answered.

"When did you get all spiritual?" I questioned as I wrapped my arms around his waist.

"I'm not sure?" He replied with a smile whilst wrapping his arms around my neck.

I leaned in to kiss him but he put his index finger on my lips, "Not so fast lover boy. You have to catch me first."

He slipped away from my hold and took off into the air. I smiled as I took off after him, "I'll get you."

I flew as fast as I could and I was about to grab him, but he dived down before I could catch him.

"Cheater!" I yelled as I dove after him.

"I didn't plan on making it easy on you," Alejandro replied as he gave out a laugh.

I flew over him and decided to cut him off. I flew downward and as he was about to pass I wrapped my arms around his back and we both started to fall.

We fell into a lake and I let go of him to swim back to he surface. I came out of the water and started to laugh. Alejandro came out and he was laughing as well.

"You got me,' Alejandro stated as he splashed water in my face.

"Yeah looks like your not that fast after all," I replied splashing water back at him.

Alejandro wrapped his arms around me and flew us out of the water, "You know I could have flown out myself."

'Yeah but then it wouldn't be as romantic now would it," He replied as he looked at me with a sweet smile.

"True," I replied as he stood still.

We were surrounded by clouds as the sunlight peeked through small openings.

"I love you," Alejandro said as he looked straight into my eyes.

"I love you too," I replied as we both started to lean in close.

I closed my eyes waiting for our lips to touch but it never did. I opened my eyes and Alejandro was no longer holding me. The clouds started to turn dark and the sunlight started to fade. I turned around looking for him but he was no where to be found.

"Alejandro!" I called out.

"Ah!" I screamed as I started to fall from the sky. I tried to fly up but I couldn't.

I was falling fast and I didn't know what else to do.

"Robert it's ok just open your eyes."

I looked down and saw Alejandro telling me to open my eyes.

"My eyes are open!" I cried out to him.

"Just open your eyes Robert," He replied again as he started to vanish.

"No wait come back!" I yelled.

I was close to the ground and I was bout to crash into it.

"Ah!" I yelled as I sat up.

I looked around and saw Felix standing next to me, "Are you ok?"

"I'm fine it was just a dream," I answered.

"Well it's time to go. The funeral is going to start soon," Felix said as I forgot about Alejandro's or should I say Ace's funeral.

"Alright I'll be there just let me change," I replied as I looked down at my hands.

"Ok I'll leave you to it then," Felix stated as he started to walk out my room.

I threw myself back into my bed with a big sigh, "Why did you have to push me out of the way..."

I flew down into the building and saw tons of people waiting outside.

"Aero, Aero can you tell us about The Elite?" I ignored the questions as I walked right into the church.

Tons of people we're there but they just came to pay respects to their hero. I walked to the front of the church and sat down as Flash was about to start speaking.

"Though we gather today in sorrow and loss we are all privileged to live a life touched by Ace. Even though it's only been a few months since he started to become a hero. He has tried to make a difference in changing the world for the better. He's shown this time and time again no matter what the personal costs. So we gather here today to pay tribute to Ace who should us all how to be heroes."

Flash finished his speech and walked off the podium. The funeral lasted another hour with random citizens going up and giving thanks to him. I didn't want to talk cause I wouldn't have been able to keep myself together.

We all carried Ace's coffin, well all except Shadow. He didn't show up to the funeral; I guess he doesn't handle loss well. We carried his empty coffin til we made our way to a giant A statue in the center of a park.

It was the same A shape that Ace had on his costume and on the front of the coffin. What makes this more sad is that nobody knows who Ace really was. They will never know who Alejandro was, but I guess it's for the best they didn't know his identity.

We lowered the coffin into the ground and than covered it up. I stayed there til everyone was gone.

I looked up at the A statue and placed my hand on it, "Damn it Alejandro how are we supposed to continue without you?" Tears forced their way to my eyes ad I was powerless to stop them.

"It was supposed to be me, not you. Why did you push me out of the way?" I questioned as I fell to my knees.

"It's ok Aero."

I quickly turned to see a little kid standing next to me.

"Alejandro is probably in a better place," The girl stated.

My eyes widened as he said Ace's real name. "Don't tell anyone that name," I pleaded.

"Don't worry Aero I wont tell nobody, I promise. Can you keep a secret?" The little girl asked.

"Yes," I replied as I wiped the tears out of my eyes.

"I also have powers," The little girl said as she moved her hands around and water started to appear out of nowhere.

"That's amazing," I replied as I looked in amazement. "You need to be careful though. Bad people are out there that will take you away cause you have this power."

"Oh... ok," The little girl responded. "Can I join your team?"

"No, I'm sorry you're to little to join, maybe when you're older. What's you're name?" I asked.

"My name is Claire," she answered in a sweet voice.

I smiled as she cheered me up from my sadness.

"Claire where are you?" I heard a woman say as she came out of the restrooms. "There you are don't bother him. I'm so sorry."

"It's alright ma'am she was cheering me up," I told the lady as I stood up.

"Oh well I'm glade to hear that usually she can be a handful," The lady replied. "Well we have to go see you around Aero."

"Bye Aero," Claire said as her mom tool her hand and began to walk away.

"Bye Claire," I replied whilst waving.

I let out a sigh and looked back at the giant A statue, "You've inspired a little girl to wanna join the good side. You have made a difference; especially to me."

"Aero are you there?" Shadow asked as he talked through the small headset.

"Yeah I'm here," I replied.

"We have a situation down in..."

"I'm taking a short break from this hero business," I said cutting him off.

"What?" Shadow asked with a puzzling tone.

"I'm taking a break, I'm not quiting though. I'll be back when I feel ready," I assured him.

"Alright then; see yah then," Shadow replied as I turned off my headset.

I placed my hand on the statue, "Sorry I have somethings to figure out before I can save people again."

I started to walk away but I turned to give the statue one last look. I let out a sigh and took of into the night sky.
