Chapter 3: Art book

Taehyung was kind of in a good mood the next day since nothing happened to him last night. However, he was aware of the bullying will he experience today. He was currently in the cafeteria, of course, in the place where he won't be able to get noticed.

He barely gets bullied in the cafeteria since most of the students mind their own business and surely, they want to eat after their tiring classes.

He was munching a burger while reading a history book since he will have a quiz in history. He flinched when a bag slammed on the table in front of him. He looked up and saw Jungkook, as expected because the bag was familiar.

"Wuh-what is it this time?" Taehyung mumbled, stopping himself from munching.

"I told you, I'll get revenge, you tricked me yesterday, remember?" Jungkook responded.

"Buh-but I didn't mean to do that, I don't know that you're not going that way. Besides, how come you forget the way to your house? You should know that." Taehyung uttered.

"And now you're blaming it on me?" Jungkook glared at him.

"That's not what I mean, I was just..." Taehyung stopped himself from talking.

He sighed and looked down at his lap knowing his opinions weren't counted anyway.

"Tell me, what do you want?" Taehyung muttered.

"Buy me lunch." Jungkook said sitting on the bench in front of him.

"But I don't have money." Taehyung looked at him hoping that Jungkook would let him pass.

"That's not my problem anymore." Jungkook mocked.

"Seriously, I don't have any money, I have to save them for my Art books. Just do something else, please. You can buy for yourself." Taehyung begged.

"I have nothing on my mind right now. I left my wallet at my house. I'm hungry and I only want food. Or else, do you want me to ruin your already ugly face?" Jungkook warned him.

"I-I understand, I'll buy for you." Taehyung sighed in defeat.

He stood up from his seat and went to the line even though he only have a small amount of money that can barely buy the book he wanted. He came back with the tray of food for Jungkook. He set it down on the table and sat down on his seat.

"Here, you can leave me alone." Taehyung said kind of upset because he already used the money for his Art book just to buy Jungkook's food.

"No, I'll stay here." Jungkook retorted.

"But why? I already bought the food you want what else do you need?" Taehyung frowned.

"Don't you see? There's no space available for me." Jungkook replied, rolling his eyes.

"But..."

"Shut the fuck up, okay? I want to eat in silence." Jungkook cut him off.

Taehyung understand that Jungkook wasn't lying but he was sure that Jungkook can go and take someone's seat easily (forcefully). He just shooked his eat and awkwardly eat his lunch.

"Geez, why my bag is heavy?"

He heard Jungkook rambling, he glanced at him and saw Jungkook rummaging in his own bag. His eyes widened seeing Jungkook pulling out the Art books, the specific ones he needed.

"Why I even brought this? This is useless." Jungkook uttered looking for a trash can.

He stood up to throw the Art book in the trash can.

"Wuh-what are you going to do with that?" Taehyung immediately stopped him.

"Throwing it, obviously. I don't need it anyway." Jungkook replied mockingly.

"No! Can I have it instead? I-I badly need that one." Taehyung pleaded.

"What makes you think I will give this one for free? Don't you know how much this cost was?" Jungkook taunted.

"I-I know it was pricey, and I-I'm willing to do anything you want just to have that." Taehyung sounded desperate since he literally doesn't have money left.

"I'm just kidding tho, here, have it." Jungkook throw him the book and he caught it.

Jungkook sat down on his seat once again and looked at the nerd fat boy.

"Thank you so much, Jungkook." Taehyung smiled hugging the Art book.

"Yeah, yeah, I appreciate that but stop smiling, it's annoying." Jungkook rolled his eyes and eat the waffle on his tray.

Taehyung attempt not to smile but he can't help it. He was so glad that he finally got what he wanted without wasting his money.

Let's say, Jungkook may or may not intentionally have that specific Art book in his bag.

-----

Luckily, it seems today was his kind of lucky day. He barely gets in trouble except with Mr. Han who seems to be annoyed by his presence. And class ended quickly so he was now currently walking to go to his home.

"Hey, fatty!"

Suddenly, he knew it was Jungkook because that nickname was given to him by Jungkook.

"What?" Taehyung stopped walking and turned around to look at him.

"I'm going with you today again." Jungkook sighed.

"What? Why? I don't want to get in trouble with you." Taehyung muttered.

"Fortunately, I have a reason to go the same route as you today because I have to go to the store near your place." Jungkook explained.

"But there's no store near my place, Jungkook." Taehyung retorted.

Yeah, Taehyung was sure that there was no store near his place because he had to go to the mall or other streets to buy his needs.

"What? Do you think I'm lying? My uncle was living there and he owned the store I'm talking about. It's not like I want to go with you tho." Jungkook mocked.

"I didn't say something like that." Taehyung mumbled.

"Now, let's go, you make me keep waiting." Jungkook said and walked first.

"But where's your car? Was it still confiscated? And your friends? Where are they?" Taehyung asked, following him.

"Yeah, it's one month confiscated and they left me because they have to do their task." Jungkook simply replied, putting his hands in his pocket.

"But promise me that you won't blame me again, okay?" Taehyung was making sure that he won't get in trouble with Jungkook again.

"Yeah, sure." Jungkook responded without even glancing at him.

Taehyung was relieved, at least he has assurance that he will be okay after this.
