Chapter 24: Passed by

Taehyung is now currently inside Hoseok's company. He already texted him that he arrived. Waiting for the elevator to open, Taehyung focused on his phone and keep in contact with Hoseok.

Meanwhile

Jungkook meeting with Hoseok ended. He is inside the elevator waiting to go to the first floor. He's alone inside because Jimin was still with Hoseok.

The elevator opened and saw someone's head because the person is typing on his phone. Jungkook can't properly see who the person was, but he felt something with him.

The person went inside the elevator, still typing on his phone, while Jungkook went out since he already arrived on the first floor. He moves 5 steps away from the elevator.

“Sure, Hoseok hyung, I'm going there now.”

Jungkook stopped walking for a moment when he heard that familiar voice. It sounded similar to Taehyung's voice. He can't be wrong, he knows how deep and sound Taehyung's voice was.

He turned around to look behind him, but he only saw the small gap in the elevator closing.

“Mr. Jeon, are we going now?”

He heard his driver speaks beside him. He sighed and decided to ignore his thoughts about Taehyung.

“Yes” He responded while looking at the elevator.

He shook his head and followed his driver outside the company.

“Taehyung, finally you're here, I've been waiting for you.” Hoseok smiled, seeing Taehyung coming inside his office.

“I missed you too, Hyung.” Taehyung smiled back and hugged him tightly.

“Are you hungry? Should we go eat outside?” Hoseok asked, pulling away from the hug.

“Yes, I haven't eaten yet.” Taehyung responded.

“Good, I have something to tell you, though.” Hoseok giggled, pulling Taehyung's right arm, and going outside his office.

“What is it, then? You can tell me right now.” Taehyung said.

He is curious about what Hoseok wanted to tell him.

“I will tell you once we are in the restaurant. I'm hungry.” Hoseok replied and they went inside the elevator.

“Fine” Taehyung sighed, knowing that he won't be able to find out about it until Hoseok tell him.

They later arrived at the restaurant and currently eating the food they ordered.

“So what is it, Hyung?” Taehyung started to ask a question.

“Are you still interested to go on a blind date?” Hoseok responded by asking a question.

“Kind of, why?” Taehyung looked at him.

“I know a friend of mine that is also looking for a date. And I can tell that you two will be matched.” Hoseok smiled.

“Really? What is his name then?” Taehyung asked.

“I won't tell you about that, it will be a surprise.” Hoseok chuckled.

“What do you mean surprised, Hyung? Won't it be better if I know his name, so I could search for his identity?” Taehyung uttered.

“Don't worry, he doesn't have any criminal records. I also know him well, and I can tell that you can trust him. He is handsome and got a muscular body. I'm sure you will like him.” Hoseok told him about Jungkook.

“Why don't you just tell me his name?” Taehyung sighed.

“Well, his name is widely known. If you search for his identity, you will surely find out a lot about him. So, that's the thing I want to avoid.” Hoseok stated.

“He must be popular” Taehyung muttered while eating his dessert.

“He came from a wealthy family in a business, so he's popular too. I promise you, you will like him. Just wait for the blind date, okay?” Hoseok explained.

“Fine” Taehyung uttered, shaking his head.

Hoseok softly laugh, succeeding in his plans of setting them to date. He wanted to try if the two will work because he can feel they are the perfect couple.

“Hyung, I'll just go to the restroom. Can you wait for me, please?” Taehyung told Hoseok when they were outside the restaurant after eating.

“Sure, just speed it up.” Hoseok replied.

“Okay” Taehyung went inside the restaurant to go pee.

Hoseok waits outside his car to arrange the food they bought to eat later.

“Hyung!”

Hoseok looked to his right side and saw Jungkook coming out of his car.

“Jungkook, what are you doing here?” Hoseok asked, looking at him.

“I'm here to eat, Namjoon and Jin Hyung invited me to join them. How about you?” Jungkook retorted.

“I'm here with a friend, I already ate with him. I don't know that Jin Hyung and Namjoon are here.” Hoseok uttered.

“Ah, I came first, they will come later. Where's your friend?” Jungkook inquired.

“He went to the restroom, if you want you can wait for him, I'm sure he's coming.” Hoseok said.

“I would love to, Hyung, but I can't do that. I have to order for Jin Hyung. Maybe next time?” Jungkook uttered, rubbing the back of his neck.

“It's okay, I'm sure you two will meet next time.” Hoseok smiled and patted his shoulder.

“Thank you, Hyung, I'll go now. See you again.” Jungkook said, walking away from him.

“Yeah, see you again.” Hoseok watched him leave and continued scrolling on his phone.

Meanwhile

Taehyung just finished using the restroom and currently walking out of the restaurant. While Jungkook didn't even notice Taehyung almost near the door.

He stopped for a moment when he heard his phone ringing. He looked down and searched his pocket, not remembering where he hid his phone.

Likewise, he received a text from Jin, he kept tree scrolling while walking near the entrance of the restaurant with his head low. Taehyung saw someone coming, he opened the door and the man walked past him while their arms brushed against each other.

The person didn't thank him, he shrugged it off and went back to Hoseok. Jungkook was about to thank the person who opened the door for him, but when he glanced behind him, he saw the person walking away. He just sighed and hid his phone in his pocket.

“Are you done?” Hoseok asked, seeing him coming near.

“Yes, let's go now.” Taehyung smiled.

They both went inside the car and left the restaurant, while Jin and Namjoon arrived.
