Chapter 13: Little bit

Taehyung was a little bit fine, thanks to the help of massage, he can move his body. He was in front of his locker to get his books, once he was done, he hid them in his bag and closed the locker. He didn't even realize that there was a person beside him.

He looked—stared at the person who was Jimin. Their lockers are just beside each other. Let's say, Taehyung likes Jimin a LiTtLe BiT. Even though he knew Jimin won't like him back.

Why won't he like Jimin? Jimin is everything. It's easy to like him compared to others. Jimin doesn't bother or bully him, unlike the others. He knew Jimin doesn't care about him but he can't help but like him.

That's the reason why he felt uncomfortable with him because he wasn't sure how to control his feelings if he see Jimin. Besides, Jimin is the only person who literally defends him. If Jimin will bully him, it was rare to happen.

"What?"

He came back to his senses when he heard Jimin's voice. He swallowed hard and bit his bottom lip not realizing he was staring for so long.

"H-huh? What?" He acted dumb and looked down at the ground.

"You're staring at me, do you need something?" Jimin asked.

"It's nothing, I-I just spaced out a bit." Taehyung replied and looked at him.

His cheeks were redder and more obvious.

"Okay" Jimin just walked away after that.

Taehyung cupped his heating cheeks and shooked his head. He slapped himself to stop thinking about what just happened. He took a deep breath and went to his class.

Meanwhile, he failed to notice Jungkook who arrived before the conversation started. Jungkook was literally watching and listening to them. Watching Taehyung staring at Jimin makes him realize why Taehyung can't look at him like that.

He hates the fact that he's no better than Jimin. But he can't help to feel this odd feeling. He wasn't sure if it was hate, disgust, or maybe..... Jealousy.

No way, there's no way its jealousy. He doesn't like Taehyung, he just dislikes the fact that Taehyung's eyes don't shine when he's with him. He can totally see the difference between him and Jimin. He shooked his head and rolled his eyes.

Jungkook was currently in a club, drinking with a circle of friends and Jimin. After the class ended, he immediately went to the club to ease his mood. He felt like his day was ruined because of what happened earlier. He is so wasted but still acts as if he wasn't. He kept his cool demeanor.

"What's the matter, dude? It seems you're not in the mood today, hah." Jimin grinned looking at him and sitting in front of him.

"None of your business" Jungkook positively replied and drink the beer.

He didn't bother to look at him and just roamed his eyes.

"Don't tell me your date was ruined?" Jimin snickered.

"It's not like that" Jungkook sighed and rolled his eyes.

"His date surely must be messed up. There's no way he will act like this if nothing happened to his date." Kyle chuckled.

"You're being obvious, Jungkook." Jimin smirked.

"I told you, you should date Myles instead. She's best at everything, you will like her, mostly in bed. She's pretty wild." Kyle suggested him.

"Oh, isn't that Taehyung? What he's doing here?"

Jungkook was fast to turn his head around to check if it was Taehyung but he see no one. Jimin tricked him.

"Such a fool, Jungkook, tell me what did Taehyung do to you this time? And why are you so active every time I mentioned his name?" Jimin giggled.

"You're no fun, I'm going now." Jungkook stood up from his seat and walked away as if nothing happened.

He didn't use his car so his father won't find out about his habit. While walking, he suddenly saw a familiar figure coming out of the convenience store. He was sure it was Taehyung.

For some reason, he had the urge to follow him. He just walk, following Taehyung who was silently eating ice cream. When they went inside the alley, Jungkook saw the same gang members who were bullying Taehyung.

Taehyung swallowed hard, he didn't expect they will be in the alley. They weren't there earlier, he took out his phone and scrolled down through his screen to ignore them. He didn't bother to look at them when he passed by them. He wished they won't hurt him after what happened to their leader.

He felt nervous because they were laughing before they saw him and suddenly, an awkward and creepy silence engulfed the alley. He walked faster to go to the other end of the alley. He sighed in relief when he was out of the alley, safe. He turned around to look at them but he flinched when he saw Jungkook.

"What?" Jungkook spoke, looking at him.

"How long have you been doing behind me?" Taehyung asked confusedly.

Was he the reason why those gangsters didn't bother to bully him? Are they scared of Jungkook? But why?

He understands that Jungkook can be scary but compared to their number, Jungkook seems to be nothing to them. They could easily beat up Jungkook, right? They are a total of 8 vs Jungkook himself, so why they are scared of him? Do they really think that he has a connection with Jungkook?

"Quite a while now, why?" Jungkook responded.

Taehyung glanced behind Jungkook and now those gangsters were gone.

"Are you following me?" He asked and looked back at Jungkook.

For some reason, he felt like something was wrong with Jungkook. The tone of his voice sounds sketchy and his acts seem to be weird.

"What makes you think I am following y—"

Before Jungkook can even finish his sentence, he suddenly got unconscious and Taehyung's instinct was fast to catch him.

"Jungkook!"

He called the boy worriedly and shooked his body.

"Jung—"

Taehyung rolled his eyes and grumbled under his breath when he heard Jungkook snoring.

"This jerk is stupid" He mumbled.

He realized that Jungkook was drunk when he smelled the stinky reek of alcohol coming from Jungkook.
