Guys were getting close to the end! I don't know whether I'm excited or sad lol :) Above is Ray looking all smexy and troublesome~

Danny panted, her chest heaving and her eyes squeezing shut as Ray moved. He was deep inside her now and even though this was their what, fourth or fifth time today? -she couldn't deny the pleasure coursing through her or the excitement Ray fueled simply by looking her in her eyes.

Whimpering, she gripped onto Ray's shoulders and fell into him, moaning loudly as he lifted her thighs for leverage and thrusted upwards just as she bounced down. She cried out for a second time and Ray seemed to respond, his speed slowing as he pulled her closer and hit a spot deep inside her that nearly made her tear up.

"Ohmygodohmygodohmygod."

"Ha....you always call out the wrong fucking name."

Completely disregarding his slow and deep movements, Ray grabbed Danny roughly by her thighs and flipped their position in the constricted space. In a moments time his lips were pressed roughly against hers and he forced her thighs apart, moving at a speed that had Danny's head fuzzing and her heart palpating. Every noise she made Ray swallowed, every scratch she drug down his back Ray took pleasure in, every arch of her back Ray traced the curve of, every single inch of her Ray devoured.

Before she even realized what was happening she felt like she was flying and Ray was groaning into the crook of her neck as his body went taught.  Danny moaned, her breath coming out in mostly a pant, as her body sank back and fell limp against the seat.

"Shit," she panted, her chest still heaving as she practically clung to Ray; Ray who was peppering kisses across her collar bone as he hummed softly. A sweet, manly sound that brought her heart warmth. He'd been like this all day.

Incredibly sweet, intoxicatingly sexy, and completely insatiable.

"I can't believe we just did that."

"Had sex in a car?"

"Had sex for the fifth time today, in a car, in a mall parking lot. That. I can't believe we just did that."

"Would this be a bad time to mention I stole the car?"

"Ray!"

Chuckling, Ray finally pulled out of her only to sit up on his knees and shimmy his way back into his jeans, tying the now soiled condom up to dispose of which Danny wasn't going to question where because -ew.

Pulling her own clothes back on, she looked up and met Ray's eyes across their tight space and she couldn't fathom what exactly it was she was looking at. Like all his other new traits, something else Ray had been doing all day was giving her this look- this look that she had yet to decipher. It was filled with happiness and just like every other time he looked at her she could see the love, but there was something else there. Something like a sad secret that only he knew and wasn't yet willing to share. She knew it was troubling him, it had been ever since he came home drunk and crying, but how could she confront such pain in his eyes when there was also such a special love?

You couldn't confront one without ruining the other.

A knocking against the window startled Danny out of her thoughts and she shrieked. Spinning around, she was expecting the worst -like some super angry soccer mom who had somehow seen them or something-but instead she came face to face with Gage and, to her absolute delight and horror, Aubree.

"Aubree?" Danny asked, shoving Ray away from her and stumbling out of the car. Her best friend looked gorgeous in a pair of leather pants with knee high boots and creme long-sleeved t-shirt under a fur vest. As usual, she was a sight for sore eyes and the confident scowl she wore made her even more fierce. "Aubree what are you doing here?"

"Gage brought me. You know, right after he told me all the shit thats been going on! What the hell is wrong with you getting involved with the effing mob Danny?! And you, Mr. I'm-named-after-a-fricking-cartoon-character-and-somehow-that-lame-ass-shit-instills-fear-in-people, who the hell do you think you are?!" As if lecturing them all with a sternness that made them feel like misbehaved children wasn't enough, the feisty woman went even further by lashing her hand out and slapping Ray hard across his face.

"Aubree!"

"This is your fault! If it weren't for you Danny would have never been involved!"

"Aubre stop!" Danny screamed, cupping Ray's now reddening face in her hands. Danny was shocked and felt terrible, but Ray didn't seem to care. If anything, Danny could have sworn he was smirking. "Thats not even true, my family had a necklace Sammy wanted so I would have been involved either way!"

"I know what you had Danny. Sammy would have stolen that necklace just like he did only you would have never even known why or what for because you wouldn't be involved. Now," Aubree said, dusting her hands on her vest and fixing her posture as she took a breath in an exagerated attempt to calm down. "We're all in it now so we may as well stop bickering like children and make the best of it. Ray, you better hope for the sake of your balls, your son's balls, and your grandson's balls that this doesn't end up in bloodshed and you little miss I'm-gonna-lie-to-my-best-friend-of-forever-about-the-most-life-changing-experience-of-said-life, better hope we find a damn dress in this bloody overpopulated and entirely overrated mall because I swear to God a shopping spree is exactly what I need right now. And you all better hope Brandon fucks me to sleep because dick, really good fucking dick, is also what I need."

Gage, Danny, and Ray all watched with slightly parted mouths and wide eyes as Aubree stalked through them all and headed towards the mall, looking exactly like a model strutting a runway she owned.

"Are you okay?" Danny finally whispered to Ray once she was over the initial shock of what just happened. He gave her a soft smile and looped his arm around her waist, pulling her closer, but didn't respond and instead looked over her head to Gage.

"When I said look after her for a few days, I never mentioned telling her what was going on."

"The woman is a demon. She used her demon powers to figure out I was hiding something and from there I was pretty much a lost cause. What can I say? Her slaps are as harsh as her words."

Ray chuckled softly and shook his head and Danny pursed her lips, debating whether to defend her friend of not. Aubree wasn't a demon......she was just a force to be reckoned with.

After shopping for nearly three hours, Danny was completely and utterly beat by the time she returned with Ray to his parents house. Thankfully neither Ray's mother nor Cruz was home and so the two of them spent the evening cuddled up on the couch with blankets, hot chocolate, and old black and white movies that they really weren't paying much attention to.

"I can't believe Freddy and Aubree got along so well," Danny mumbled, remembering how the two of them basically took control of the shopping today and chatted like old friends. Freddy was probably the only one who didn't feel the wrath of Aubree's glare.

"I'm not surprised. Freddy is a fantastically gay twink in the body of a big and bad mob man. His true colors come out when he's around people he thinks are equally fabulous."

"Wow. I don't think I've ever heard you say the word fabulous."

"You like it?"

"It's weird."

"I think it's fabulous."

Smiling, Danny leaned forward and set her mug down before turning so that she could face Ray. She was already laying between his legs under the big blanket they wore and so she simply flipped over and crossed her arms over his chest, resting on chin on her hands and facing the man she loved. His face was finally healing from the fight with Vincent and the many fights before that he'd gotten into the past few month's but there were scars there that would never go away. It didn't take away from his good looks any though.

"I'm sorry Aubree slapped you."

"I'm not. I know Aubree's a good friend and I'm glad you have someone who's willing to stand up for you like that. I like her. And the fact that she found out what was going on and was brave enough to slap me in the first place makes me kind of like her even more."

"Aubree isn't afraid of anyone."

"No, but I think Gage is definitely afraid of her," Ray chuckled softly, making Danny smile once again as she laughed along with him.

"Do you think it will all go smoothly tomorrow?" Danny whispered after a while, index finger slowly tracing a healing scar just above Ray's eyebrows. As her fingers worked on his imperfections, Ray reached up and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, his thumb caressing her cheek in the process and marveling at the complete lack of imperfections.

"I think smoothly isn't really a word that can be used to describe our situation."

"Well do you think Vincent will stick to the plan? We don't really know much about him and he's a bit of a wild card. What if he ends up being worse than Sammy?"

Ray pursed his lips but hesitated in responding. The question Danny just asked was one that Ray had spent hours contemplating for a while now. The truth was he didn't trust Vincent as far as he could throw him and quite frankly, he honestly wouldn't bat an eyelash if he were told to kill Vincent, but the question wasn't so much were they willing to take the risk of Vincent being worse than Sammy, it was were they willing to take the risk of not doing anything at all and maybe he wasn't.

Say Vincent did turn out to be a complete psychopath and this was all a ploy to help him win whatever scheme he was plotting. The fact of the matter was Ray didn't care. If Vincent turned out to be a problem then he would handle Vincent. But with Sammy there were no ifs

There were only facts

"I don't know. A lot is going to happen tomorrow. Sammy's father will be flying into town and we'll be crashing the welcome home party with not only the bad news that his son is trying to kill him, but the illegitimate son he's been trying to keep a secret for so long now tagging alone with us. It's gonna be one fucked up family reunion."

"And what about you?"

"What about me?"

"Well, a lots been going on so I haven't actually stopped to ask but.......you've been around these people and involved with these types of things since you were a kid. In a way, this is all you know. In a way, this is your family. So........how do you feel about killing your family?"

As the weight of Danny's words settled in, Ray felt his mouth dry and his mind wander. To say he'd never looked at it from that perspective would be to tell a lie. There was no 'in a way' this was the 'only way'. When Ray was a child his father was in the Chicago Outfit as well. He knew Daniel Vino before he even knew what the word death meant. These men who he was about to face the following morning had been in his life as far back as he could remember. They showed him many first and ordered him to kill many people.

And now, after all these years, he would be killing them.

It was a weird feeling really.

Imagine it like this.

You have that one relative who always shows up to family events and, because you're related you're forced to speak and act friendly, but you really don't like them all that much. Maybe they're too obnoxious or pinch your cheeks too much. Who knows, who cares. The fact of the matter is, they're someone who's always been there whether you wanted them to be or not. So imagine you come home one Thanksgiving and that person isn't there all of a sudden so you ask where they are, and someone tells you they're dead.

You won't break down and cry because it's not like you really loved or cared about that person anyway, but you'll still feel something. Something maybe words can't explain exactly.

Because where did that leave you now?

For someone else maybe it's just a distant relative and they can move on. For Ray though, it would literally be his life. There would be no more Chicago Outfit for him. No more orders, no more money, and no more killing.

Now he was just an everyday guy with no high school degree and no real work experience.

But then again, not even that was true.

Because even though Sammy would be gone people  would follow in his tracks. There would be hundreds more Sammy's after him. And Ray had made his name known throughout the underground crime world. He would have enemies out to get him now that he was no longer under the protection of the Outfit, and he would have others trying to force his hand or use him because he was so good at what he did.

So really, no matter who he killed, he was trapped in a cycle that would never truly end. Once you entered into a lifestyle like this, there was no real way out unless you were as dead as the people you killed.

"Ray?"

Snapping himself out of his thoughts, Ray looked down into Danny's concerned brown eyes and gave her a reassuring smile.

"If you want a good solid answer I can't give you one. No matter what I do Danny, someone is going to get hurt. No matter who's side I'm on or whether I'm fighting family or friends, someone I care about is going to die tomorrow. And I don't know how I feel about that."

"Is that why you keep making love to me? Because you're afraid of whats going to happen tomorrow and don't want to think about it?"

"No. I know that no matter what I'm gonna keep you safe and as long as I know that, then I'm not afraid of anything. I want a future with you Daniela. Everything you dream I want."

"But you said-"

"I've said a lot of stupid shit and in the future I'll probably say more stupid shit. But I love you and that means I'd jump off a bridge if you told me too. Being in your future is the easy part."

"You know, for someone who claims he's never been into the whole romance thing, you're pretty fucking romantic. Like goddamn."

"Way to ruin the mood Danny."

"Daniela."

"What?"

"Daniela. I've never told you because I like those little surprise moments when you slip up and say it, but I like it when you call me Daniela."

"Okay. Well then you can call me Raymond?"

"You real name is Raymond?"

"Fuck no. I said it as a joke but hearing it out loud just made me feel like fifty years older. God that was lame."

Laughing loudly, Danny smiled and leaned forward to kiss Ray's grinning lips. "You know, you still didn't answer my question as to why you're such a horn dog today?"

"I can't talk anymore, I'm too horny."

"Pervert," Danny giggled.

"Mmm, I love it when you talk dirty to me, baby girl."
