I had a little feeling that Oliver knows I was going to reject him because he wanted to talk about anything apart from his confession and I was going restless. I was so curious and want to question about so many things. I want to explain to him why we wouldn't work out. I just want to let all the feelings out, but I couldn't. Not when he looked at me with those doe-like-eyes and asked me out for dinner.

I declined, but he insisted and pouted saying, "Are you still mad at me and Grayson from last time?"

He is very good at convincing people and I shouldn't be surprised by that. We somehow ended up in some random restaurant and he was looking at me with a smile and I raised one of my eye brow.

"Did I tell you how beautiful you are?" He said.

I almost choked at my drink.

"You are so beautiful." He repeated. I was getting really self conscious because he keep staring at me with his grey eyes.

"I think your eyes are just blurry." I said shaking my head. He is the handsome one here and he doesn't even have to try it.

"You don't see it, but we all do." He shook his head and give me a shy smile. That smile I have never seen before and he looks cute, younger than usual. Still handsome.

"About earlier" I started.

"If the answer is a No, I get it, don't reject me now. Take your time to think this through. We are having a good time now and if you reject me now it won't be nice." He frowned.

I stayed silent and he sighed. "So, you were going to reject me?"

I stayed silent.

"Fine. We can talk about this now, so that I know how you feel, but if this conversation takes a turn, can we stop ? Because I want to spend as much happy time with you as possible."

"We won't be able to work this through." I started.

"We didn't even start our relationship and you are thinking about this?" He said leaning forward.

"You are my boss, I am your employee. You are Oliver Lee, while I am just me. It will definitely not work."

"For starter, it really doesn't matter about this boss thing because we don't work in the same office.. I thought you took me as just Oliver ? Why are you bringing in my background into this. What do you mean by just you?" He sounded almost pissed at the last sentence, but I ignored his tone.

Just then our food was served and Oliver was not really interested in the food because he looked at me and said, "Say something. I want you to say something so that I know what's wrong and make this work. I have never did this before and I want to try this with you and you staying silent is not helping in this situation."

I sighed. "People will talk." I said, which is true because people already started talking in front of me and recalling the two women in the elevator made me shiver.

"If that is the problem, I already came up with solution. Mia told Grayson that you wanted to work from home. I will grant that." He said and I scowled.

"I would have liked that offer if you would have told me before, but not now. People will think that I am working from home because we are in a relationship."

"People will always talk, they do that all the time. They like minding other's business rather than their own damn businesses. You should focus on how you feel and not others. Do what makes you happy and not what others will think." He said looking distant like he is recalling something.

"It's harder than you think. No one will say much to you because you are the boss, but I am an employee." I said.

"Which is why I said I will be giving you permission to work from home."

"I want to experience an office life. What Mia said was true. I actually wanted a job where I can stay home and be in my own comfort zone, but for sometime I feel that it is better I am outside and experience things." I said.

"Just give us a chance. Give me a chance." He pleaded desperately. "I want to work this out with you, please. Think it through, apart from your worries, can you at least focus on your feelings for me? Unless you don't have any for me I will take your rejection." He said looking at me with a serious look.

"I will think about it." I sighed and he looked relieved for a moment and we started eating. It was awkward at first, but he tried to lighten up the mood and spoke about random things. I have realized that Oliver does not joke around much. He is serious most of the time. He do smile and laugh here and there and that's it.

By the time we were on our way home I was way too tired and yawned.

"You seemed extra tired today." He laughed a little.

"Uh huh." I said and yawned again and rest my head on the window and closed my eyes

I assume he thought I fell asleep because the next moment I hear him say, "I wish you will believe me when I say how beautiful you are to me." It was almost a whisper, but the car was too silent and with that I fell asleep.
