Charleen kept taking glances at Dean, worried and...scared. Looking back to the road, she gave a slow long sigh. She gripped the wheel tighter, thinking what could be wrong with him. He sat on the passenger seat, looking out the window, seeming to be deep in thought. Charleen at first thought it was the fact she was driving them to school, but she could sense it was something more than that. The way he was looking out the window...it was depressing. Charleen kept taking her glances at him before looking back at the road to figure out more.

"Stop that, Charleen. You have nothing to worry about."

Charleen raised her eyes as she glanced at him. He was still looking out the window...very quiet. It was creeping her out. She deaf did have something to worry about, whether he thinks so or not.

"What's wrong?" She asked. She knew that if he was at this state, she would probably never get answers from him. It seemed personal, which meant she would have make him be comfortable to talk about it with her.

"Two answers. School and Olivia." He answered without hesitation.

Charleen blinked. That was easy. So he was having problems with Olivia and school, okay she could work with that. But wait-

"You called her Olivia." She commented.

Shock shone over his gaze. "I did?" He sighed, "Shit."

"What happened?"

Dean sighed as he kept looking out of the window. Okay, Charleen was really becoming worried. The last time they talked was when-

"You know you got Olivia upset the other day and you told me to go talk to her?"

How Charleen not forget, she felt bad that day. She couldn't shake the fact Olivia thought Charleen had feelings for Dean. She was wrong in so many ways, she couldn't see herself liking Dean. It was a deaf no. The next day though, they made up. It was...relieving.

"Yeah, something bad happened?" Although, Charleen knew something bad couldn't have happened cause they made up, so....

Anyway, while she asked that question, she finally arrived at the school's parking lot and parked where it was closest to the school. Taking her keys out of the ignition, she turned her body to completely face Dean. Giving him her full attention, waiting for an answer.

"We didn't talk." He said finally taking his eyes off the window and stared at Charleen. Charleen took a small breathe once he did, finally having his eyes. Now she could see his expression. His eyes were filled with...nothing. They were blank. Charleen frowned and looked more closely. He was sweating. She could see it on his forehead, although it was faint. Also, almost disturbingly...she could smell it. She could hear his heart starting to pound faster than usual. She could also hear how his breathing quicken every five seconds before returning back to normal.

He was nervous, and he's trying to conceal it. His eyes may not show it, but his body does. Charleen could tell that he's trying to control it, it would work for any human being, but not her.

"You can sense it, can you?" Dean asked as he leaned back in his chair. Charleen nodded at him and he sighed.

"Its because of her." He explained. What the freak? Since when did Olivia get to him. The hell?

"What the hell happened?" Charleen asked, anxiously.

"All we did was- "

The passenger door flew open, and Charleen raised her eyebrows. She was expecting that. She then looked at Dean to see if he was shocked.

He wasn't.

His head was down, deep in thought. And very quiet. Charleen was really starting to get crept out. But to ignore him for the moment, she leaned forward to look out the passenger door where Dean was sitting, and first saw for what looked like beautiful blue eyes.

"Sup, Olivia." Charleen greeted.

Olivia smiled a wicked smile at Charleen, but then when she looked at Dean, she frowned.

"What's wrong with him?" She asked.

"School." Charleen replied, easily. She purposely missed the Olivia part, seeming how its Olivia they were talking about.

"Well, he'll just have to deal." Olivia stated.

Charleen expected Dean to look up at Olivia and glare, but apparently he didn't. He still looked down.

"Olivia, that wasn't nice, and who's he?"

Charleen looked behind Olivia, to see the lovely Quince behind her. Charleen hasn't seen or spoke to her much. To greet her properly, Charleen got out her car and walked around it to hug Quince. Quinc hugged her back, and when they pulled away, she smiled.

"Hey Charleen. Long time. No talk."

"I know." Charleen replied.

"So, who's he? Is it Ricks in there?"

Charleen frowned. Why would she think Ricks in there? From the corner of her eye, she saw Olivia eyes widened, beaming as her lips curved forming the hugest smile Charleen ever saw from her.

Confused, Charleen answered, "No its someone you've never met."

Quince eyes beamed with excitement. "He's new? And you two know him?"

"Yes, Q. I hate it, though."

Quince turned to her bestfriend. "Why?"

"Cause I found him, stranded. He practically begged me to help him."

This time, Dean did look up to glare at Olivia and she raised her eyebrows in satisfaction. "Finally."

Quince squeezed through Olivia and the car to finally at Dean, smiling the whole way. When she saw his face, her smile vanished.

"He doesn't look happy." She commented.

Charleen looked too, and almost felt bad for him. It was highly awkward, he never done this. It was Olivia. "Its his first day here, remember?"

Quince frowned, but after Charleen's words must've kicked in, she gave a face in recognition and smiled at Dean again. "Everybody hates the first day of school. Understandable."

Olivia rolled her eyes as she stared at Dean. "You might want to get out of that car, so that way you won't be late."

Dean slowly snarled at her, but then turned his attention to Quince. Looking at her up and down, he grabbed his bag -weapon bag- and got out the car, slamming the door shut behind him.

Looking at Quince, he said, "Dean."

Quince blinked as if lost, but then smiled in delight as she stared at Dean. "That's your name. Hi, I'm Quince."

"Well Quince, can you show me my classes? I don't want to get...lost." His expression was blank, he spoke with no emotion. Charleen was shocked and uncomfortable to say it, but this was hot right now.

Quince seemed dazed for a second, but then nodded. Her beaming bright. "Of course."

"Let's go." Dean said before walking away.

Quince's mouth widened and she looked at Olivia and Charleen, mouthing, "He's amazing." With that she rushed past them to catch up with Dean.

Charleen was about to laugh hysterically when she saw Olivia's face. She didn't look happy at all, she glared at Quince and Dean the whole way till she couldn't see them anymore.

Fed up, Charleen asked, "Okay. What the fuck is up with you and Dean?"

Olivia looked at Charleen and smiled as if nothing was wrong. "Nothing."

"Lies. What happened when Dean came to cheer you up the other day?" Charleen prompt as she crossed her arms. She's not going to wait anymore. She wasnt patient, and Olivia and Dean are nerving her.

"We didn't talk." Olivia answered simply.

"And?" Charleen pried. No bullshit.

"That's just the thing. No talking. Which means no arguing."

Charleen was done, just done. She swiftly wrapped her arm around Olivia's shoulder before she could blink. Olivia gasped, and Charleen wrapped it tighter around her neck.

Charleen whispered in Olivia's ear, "I want to choke you so bad right now, but I can't. So here's what's going to happen. You and Dean aren't going to tell me any more of your problems. You guys expect me to ask, but guess what? No more. No more stressing over this."

With that Charleen let go and walked away from Olivia. She tries to help, but apparently it's a no. So there's no point of trying anymore.

By lunch time, Quince waited by the front door as always to head to the usual lunch place to get Chinese food with Olivia. Dean stood by her side, all menacing and tall, he glared most of the time. Quince thought that was utterly terrifying and amazing.

Earlier, Quince walked with him to the office to get his schedule. With that she showed him his classes before going to her own. They had two classes together, and when they were in those two classes, Dean glared at everyone.

Popular stupid guys who always try to bully a newbie, got scared today when they saw Dean's face, him glaring. After class they tried to get him to hang with them, but he passed. Ignoring them, he walked away with Quince following him.

The teachers actually underestimated his intelligence and wanted to take it easy on him, but he refused and demanded for the teachers to teach him like they do to every student. They did, and he was excellent. Quince was fascinated.

On the way to the front door for lunch, they ran into Ricks and his jocks of buddies. Wearing their red jock jackets, as always. Ricks eyed them intently as they walked by. Quince could feel her heart beating rapidly as they came closer to each other. Passing by each other, her shoulder brushed his, and Quince felt something electrified once they came in contact. Quince tried not to look back, but she did and saw Ricks did too. He wasn't smiling his usual doofus smile, he frowned and looked away. Quince looked back around, and frowned as she thought to herself of what just happened.

Honestly, she still couldn't shake that electrifying feeling she had between them. She didn't know if Ricks felt it, but if he did, she sure as hell want him to say something.

"Boyfriend?"

"Huh?" Quince asked as she looked up at him, away from her thoughts.

"That guy you walked by, is that your boyfriend?"

Quince blushed a little, she would've looked away, but sometimes in his eyes told her not to. "No."

Dean said nothing and looked straight ahead, his expression blank. Honestly, if he wasn't a student here, Quince would've thought he was her bodyguard.

"Why?" She asked, out of curiosity.

"Seems like it, you both looked back."

Quince blinked as she looked at him closely. "How did you know, I looked back?"

"Easy. From the corner of my eyes." Dean replied, still looking ahead.

"Oh, so...you think he likes me?"

"Why don't you ask him to find out?"

Quince looked at him solemnly. Ask Ricks. Quince started to laugh. It was a hysterical laugh, one that wasn't true or natural. She kept laughing until she saw Dean tense, he was good hiding it, but since Quince was close she could tell.

Looking ahead to where he was staring, she saw Olivia's face. Walking over here, she was glaring at Dean and Quince. She mostly kept her eyes locked with Dean's. Quince looked back at Dean and realized something she never thought she'd realize.

Leaning over to whisper in his ear, Quince whispered, "Maybe you should take your own advice."

Dean whipped his head so fast to look at Quince, and she giggled. For the first time today, she saw his eyes had the slightest amount hope, and Quince smiled.

Once Olivia came in front of them, she looked at Quince. "Why is he here?"

Quince gave a weak slap on his Olivia's shoulder. "Beautiful! That wasn't nice, and guess what? He's joining us for lunch, today."

"No."

Quince scrunched her eyebrows together. "What?"

"No." Olivia repeated.

Dean scoffed, and looked uncomfortable. He was very quiet, huh?

"There's no problem for him to come."

"With me, there is." Olivia retorted.

Dean growled at Olivia, making Quince jump a little. It was kinda scary. Olivia looked at Dean, with determination. Uh oh.

"What's the matter, Dean? What's with the quietness all of a sudden?"

"None of your business, demon eyes." Dean replied, bitterly.

Quince jerked her head back, completely and utterly shocked. Not once has anyone ever called Olivia that. At all. Her eyes are beautiful.

Olivia slowly turned her attention from Dean and looked at Quince once again. "After Charleen joined us, you said it was just going to be me and you afterward, but now you went and invited him."

"Hey Beautiful."

Quince, Dean, and Olivia glanced their ways to see a group of girls passing by. Their leader was a prima donna, and Olivia always hated her.

Just as Olivia would've made a smart comment, Charleen came by and Quince saw Dean look in so much relief he could fall onto his knees. Olivia was glaring at Charleen, and Quince figured they probably had an incident.

"Thank goodness." Dean whispered so low as he brushed past Quince and Olivia and walked up to Charleen. Draping his arm Charleen's shoulders, he said, "You guys have your lunch while we have ours." With that, he dragged him and Charleen away. Charleen looked confused, before her face was out of sight.

Quince was confused too. Was it Olivia or Charleen? Quince turned her gaze to see Olivia glaring at them the whole way, and Quince became worried.

"Maybe they're not together." Quince tried reassuringly.

Olivias slowly glared at her. "What are you talking about?"

"Come on, Beautiful. I saw you and him, the way you two react to each other. It was blatant."

"What does that mean?"

Quince groaned. "Obvious. It was obvious."

"Well, I don't like him." Olivia said as she crossed her arms, looking forward.

Quince laughed. Like she was going to believe that crap. "C'mon, let's talk about it over lunch."

After lunch, Ricks went to football practice. Sadly, once again he was benched. That fight last week with Hamilton really got him.

Sitting down, watching the rest of them play was a bummer. And Coach was a sour ass that couldn't help, but punish them for no reason. Three months ago, he even kicked Joey -Ricks' right hand man- out of the whole game for pulling a small prank on the other football players, including him.

As a quarterback and a friend, Ricks tried to defend him, reason with Coach, but Coach didn't accept 'bullcrap' so he didn't listen and Ricks almost got kicked out to for it. Now that's a bunch of 'bullcrap.'

But honestly, that's not what upset him today, he was so happy. Walking with his buddies after class to head outside for lunch, play football, and then chill out or go to parties. But that killed his mood, once he saw someone with someone.

When he saw Quince walking with that tall, glaring dude. He was upset and a little shocked. He didn't know if they were together, but he sure as hell would love to find out. He didn't exactly know why he felt this way, but he did. Did he want to feel this way, he don't know.

When her shoulder brushed his, he tensed. He felt something...electrifying. Maybe. He didn't what that was about, but didn't want to know. One of his buddies noticed, and asked if he was okay. Ricks just shrugged, he didn't want to talk about feelings for a girl who hated him. Or so she claims.

"Troller!"

Ricks looked to the direction he had heard his last name. His pathetic last name, and saw that Coach was calling him over. Frowning, Ricks removed himself from the bench and ran over to Coach. Coach didn't look happy. He was glaring, forcing his wrinkles to crease on his forehead. Rumple is more the word actually.

"Your on the field for today, Troller."

Man, he hated it when people called him by his last name, but at this point Ricks didn't care. Coach was letting him off the bench!

"Today." Coach reminded, sternly.

"Whatever you say, Coach!" Ricks exclaimed excitedly as he wrapped his arms around Coach for a hug, expressing his gratitude. Coach tensed and started to shake for what seems like anger, Ricks honestly didn't care. He's off the damn bench, damn it!

"Get your hands off me, Troller!" He demanded after a short moment of awful tension that Coach seemed to face, Ricks was just glad to be back on the field. Also, by that way he doesn't have to focus on Quince with the tall angry guy. If Ricks sees Quince again, he would confront her about it.

Afraid that Coach was going to punch him in the gut, Ricks let go and ran to the field. Oh man, I love football.

Its free period and Charleen is...tired. She's tired of dealing with this Olivia and Dean thing. Something happened between them and she has yet to find out. When Dean took her away from Olivia and Quince, she was hoping to find out an answer but something would always seem to get in the way. So she gave up, just like she did with Olivia who was very moody since earlier.

You know what upset her more? She didn't see Mr. Wright today at English class, it was a different substitute teacher. She was wondering the class where he was and till now, she keeps thinking about him. Honestly, she would've never kissed him if she known it was drive him away.

That kiss. Charleen regrets it and she knew she would. He's a damn teacher. Shit. Next she would see him she would make amends in case he'd report it to the principal. Another thing, she didn't see the Latin guy at all since he made his escape out of those ropes. She still couldn't tell who he was, he was smart to tell or show any information for he to found out what he was. She still remembers he left out important information she had yet to find out.

Charleen then gave him a suspicious look. "What's your name?" She asked.

"What's yours?" The boy replied.

"Charleen." Charleen answered simply.

"None of your business." He answered as well and smiled. A very cold smile.

Charleen sighed and sat down in front of him. "I have a feeling you can get out of the ropes someway, but choose not to. Why?"

"Wow, you're smart. No wonder they call you special. Even though you're a regular werewolf." He said smirking at the last part.

Charleen gasped. He knows I hate that? Charleen frowned. What the hell?

"Lycan. And who's they? What do you mean by special? What are you?"

"That Charleen, is open for discussion later."

Charleen looked confused. "We're the only ones here right now."

"Apparently not." He said looking behind Charleen.

Charleen turned around to see that Olivia and Dean were walking towards them. Great. Just f-ing great. Charleen would've sensed them but she was too distracted.

"Done with your interrogation?" Olivia said as she stood in front of him and Charleen.

"Did he talk?" Dean asked as he too stood in front of them.

Charleen looked at the boy to see he was glaring at them, then she looked up back at them and said, "Nah, I'm starting to get tired of trying."

Okay, so she has mad things to find out. But first, she really wants to learn his name. On dogs, like real bad. Anyway, Charleen figured 'they' he was referring to was what he was and knew about her somehow. She needs to find him.

"Hey, Charleen."

Charleen felt an arm around her shoulders which happened for the second time today and looked to see who was the person was and smiled.

"Hey."

Ricks smiled his usual smile and Charleen noticed she hasn't spoken to him much lately. She had to make a mental note to make she does that. He was in his read jockey jacket as usual, but no cap
