Haisleys first pregnancy was going quite well. The 1st trimester is always the scariest one since it still very early into the pregnancy but she's been going to her doc as scheduled and everything seemed to be well.

She had started taking prenatal vitamins and a few other things to keep her well during that time since she was still having issues with her eating, even being pregnant.

Her craving had really started to work in her daily life. She had some odd ones as well. Bear would always look at her like she was crazy when she asked him to get her something. It only made her laugh because it was his baby that wanted that weird stuff.

Bear was handling the pregnancy well. He is new to the whole beginning of parenthood since he was in Balakes life when was almost one. He had a lot to learn and experience. All the late nights and diaper blowouts. Helping with bottom feeding and how to handle a newborn.

He was going crazy about how he was scared of dropping the baby or messing up. She did her best to comfort him and tell him that being a good parent doesn't mean you don't make mistakes, of course not dropping the baby would definitely be best.

Every ultrasound appointment they went to Bear would make funny comments about the shape and size of the baby. She even slapped his arm when he said it looked like an alien. He was saying sorry for the next three days.

Balake was handling it very well and every night before he would go to bed he would go to Bear and Haisleys room. He would hop on the bed beside her and rest his head next to her little bump. Every night he would have a new question about the baby. 'When were they baby going to be here? Or what is the baby going to be?' It just went on and on.

She found it cute how adored he was with the baby. He was very protective of both Haisley and his sibling. Now it was harder to get him to go to school because he wanted to protect his mama. He even gave the brothers a lesson on watching her which made Bear and Haisley rolling over laughing.

"Come on, bubba. It's time for school" Haisley sits on the side of Balakes bed and gently shakes him awake. She always got him up, dressed, and feed before Bear took him to school.

It didn't take long for Balake to roll over and snuggle into Haisleys side. She runs his fingers through her soft curls. "Come on, baby. We have to get you dressed and fed" she moves from his grip and walks over to his closet to grab him some clean clothes to put on. He was a simple dresser. Balake liked graphic tees, joggers, and sneakers.

After a few minutes, he sat up and used his tiny fist to rub the sleep out of his eyes. His hair was all over the place but in a cute way.

"Here are your clothes. You know the routine." She helped him off the bed and handed him the neatly folded stack of clothes. Haisley ushered him to his bathroom before leaving to go downstairs and fix him breakfast.

She made something simple which was usually oatmeal, cereal, or eggs with grits. He wasn't much of an eater so she never fixed much of anything especially when she made his lunch box.

Haisley quickly scrambled up some eggs and mixed some grits, placing them on a plate for home. She then moves on to fixing his luck box. It consisted of a Ham and Cheese sandwich with a small number of potato chips and baby carrots. His favorite lunch to take.

By the time she had finished up, she could hear him basically running down the stairs which she repeatedly told him not to. "Balake!" She yells loud enough for him to hear her.

"Sorry, mama," he says when he gets to the bottom of the stairs. Balake makes his ways over to the counter and climbs onto the still side he could eat his breakfasts

"You know better" she scolds him lightly before leaning down to kiss his forehead.

"Eat up, you have to leave soon," Haisley says as she sets a glass of orange juice next to his plate.

"Where is dad?" He asks as he takes a bit of egg, his legs swinging back and forth with energy. She didn't know where he got all that energy, Sam definitely wasn't the energetic type of person.

"He's getting ready to take you to school. You know your dad, bubba. " they both laugh as they thought about Bear being late one morning. He freaked out and thought he was going to get Balake into trouble. It wasn't funny to them at the time but they laughed about it now. Bear learned to never hit the snooze button after that.

When Balake had finished his breakfast his hopped off the stool and walked over to the sink to place his dirty plate there. It was about 7:00 which meant the brothers would be waking up soon and Bear needed to be downstairs.

Haisley was gathering the books and papers Balake left out on the table and neatly placed them in his book bag. "Run upstairs and get your dad, you're gonna be late again"

Just before Balake was even halfway up the stairs Bear came out of the bedroom fully dressed a ready to go. "I thought you were gonna be late again" she chuckles at the face he made at her for bringing it up again.

"No, my love. Stop bringing it up" he groans as he walks over to her a place a big kiss on her lips while resting his hand on her tiny bump. Bear loves seeing and rubbing her pregnant belly. She didn't mind it either, it was soothing especially when she had cramps.

"I'm sorry, babe." She peaks his cheek with a grin on her face before handing him the book bag. "Come here, bubba" Haisley holds her arms open for Balake to run into a give her a hug.

"Be safe, mama." He warns her as he squeezes her tightly.

"I will be baby, don't worry. You just have fun at school" she shakes her head his protectiveness. As soon as she let go of Balake he grabbed onto Bear's hand and started to drag him out of the house.

"I'll be back soon, baby" Bear blows her a kiss before being dragged out of the compound.
