The next morning Haisley and Balake woke up in the bed alone. Bear had left her a note on his pillow telling her he would be in his office is she needed him.

She sighs before sitting up. Balake had finally gone back to sleep after waking back up around 4 in the morning. She used that time he was awake to give him both the medicines the doc gave her since it has been more than 4 hours since he took the Benadryl.

Half an hour later he had calmed down just enough to fall back asleep. She knew his sleep schedule would be a pain in the ass to get back on track but his health was worth getting up any hours of the day to make him feel better.

Bear had wanted to stay with Balake and Haisley but he needed to keep the club up and going.

Haisley slides out of bed and goes to the bathroom. Her stomach started to feel icky and achy like it was going to start cramping. She knew her period was going to start soon. She did her business in the bathroom and headed back out.

She had to wake Balake up soon to try and give him some food, knowing that wasn't going to as easy. Haisley pulled on some shorts before heading downstairs to the kitchen to find him some light to eat. She figured she could try yogurt. He loved it and plus it is easy for him to eat.

Haisley grabbed a little container of peach yogurt. This was his favorite out of all of them. She also grabbed one of his baby spoons, along with a sippy cup with water. He needed to stay hydrated especially if he continues to throw up.

Just as she was about to walk up the stairs, Bear had opened the door of his office. She turned around and waited as he walked over to her.

"What are you doing up, baby? I know you didn't get much sleep" he asks while brushing away a curl from her face and tucking it behind her ear.

"Balake needs to eat. I know he's not going to be able to hold down anything heavy so I'm going to try feeding him some yogurt." She tells Bear, closing her eyes as his finger brushed against her cheek when he tucked her hair behind her ear.

"Do you want me to help? Just in case things get messy? I needed a break from all that paperwork and since it feels like forever since we've really been together I figured I would take my break and hand with my two favorite people" he smiles down at her sweetly.

Haisley giggles and nods. She would never deny spending time with Bear, though she still felt the tension about the last few days.

She held out her hand and pulled him along with her to the room. They stopped midway up the stairs when they heard one of Bear's brothers yell. "Use a condom"

Bear just flicked him off then continued his way up to his room. He hated that Balake was sick. It hurt to see him crying and Haisley draining herself. He could see the bags under her eyes from staying up with Balake most of the night.

When they entered the room, Balake was starting to shift around in the bed. Haisley was glad he was waking up on his own, she didn't want to wake him from the peaceful slumber.

"Hello, bubba." She speaks softly as she moves over the side of the bed, laying his food and cup on the nightstand. Balake instantly crawled over to Haisley and snuggled into her.

"I know you're sleepy but you have to try and eat something." She rubs his back soothingly. Bear had sat on his side of the bed watching with a soft smile on his face. He loved the connection Balake and Haisley had. Though she wasn't his real mom, that had that type of connection with each other.

"Let me hold him in my lap and you can try and feed him" he offers with his hands out. When Haisley had pulled Balake away from her he had started to pout and whine until he felt Bear holding him close.

Bear sat Balake in his lap, so the baby could rest against his stomach. Haisley turned to the nightstand and opened the container of yogurt. She made her self comfortable in front of Bear with the sippy cup in between he crossed legs.

"Okay, Balake. Let's try it. It's your favorite." She puts a little bit of the yogurt on the spoon and held it close to his mouth. At first, he turned his head away but once he realized exactly what it was he turned his head back towards the spoon and ate it.

Haisley took her time feeding him. She didn't want him to eat too much to the point it would irritate his stomach. When it came down to the sippy cup it took a little bit more time before he actually attempted to drink any.

She sighed relieved that he had something in his stomach. He seemed a bit better once the food had time to settle. Being sick and not having anything in your stomach made the body feels worse.

Balake had finished a little over half of the yogurt and drank most of the water. She knew his diaper was going to be full very soon.

Haisley covered the yogurt and sat both the container and sippy cup back on the nightstand. "Don't move. Let me give him his medicine" she tells Bear and she gets out of bed and grabs the medicine off the dresser. She used the two liquid medicine syringes and filled them up to the proper amount before heading back over to Balake.

"Alright, big guy. Once you take this then you can watch some TV" she sticks the end of the syringe in his mouth and slowly pushed the medication out of it.

Once she had finished that she went to the bathroom and cleaned both of the syringes. When she walked back into the bedroom. Bear had laid down on his side with his arm resting on the pillow they used to elevate Balake when he slept. Balake was resting his head against Bear's outstretched arm while watching a cartoon show.

Bear hadn't fallen asleep, he just laid there and adored the little boy in his arms. He never thought he would have this. A little family, of course, he wanted to have more children but that would be after Balake was a little older and the issues with the rival MC resolved.

"You know that kid adores you, right?" She asks as she lays the syringes back over with the medicine. Bear hadn't realized she had left the bathroom so he jumped a bit.

"He May adore me but he worships everything you do or say. I can't blame him, you know. For worshiping you. You'd go to hell and back six million times for this boy." Haisley smiles as his words before sliding into bed next to both of them.

"He's my little man. Of course, I would. I don't know what I would be without him. He has definitely been my rock through everything" she reaches up and moves the hair ways from Balakes face gently. Balake was so into the show she wasn't even sure he knew she had done it.

"Haisley about the last few days....you know, with me being distant and coming home late." He cleared his throat nervously. "It's nothing against you or Balake. One of our rivals had been threatening something very valuable to me. It's been stressing me out. Wanting to keep the both of you guys safe" he sighs feeling the frustration starting to build back up

"It's okay, Bane. I understand, to an extent. I just wish you would talk to me more often about your problems. I'm your old lady remember" she chuckles at the words. It would take a little time to adjust to the title but she likes the meaning behind it.

"I definitely haven't forgotten, babygirl. You've just already have so much on your plate with taking care of Balake, working on your health, and Boyd. I don't want to stress you out" he admits while using his free hand to soothingly rub Balakes stomach.

"You remember what you told me that day in the office about my problems being your problems, well that isn't a one-way street. Your problems are also my problems" she knew Bear did things for their benefit but she didn't want to watch him suffer because he felt he needed to bottle everything up so she wouldn't get stressed out.

"I'll work on it, baby. I promise" he knew he needed to work on opening up since that is what he expected out of Haisley. It was only fair for him to put in the same amount of effort.

"I love you," she says in a sweet while looking over at him.

Bear smiled " I love you too baby girl."
