*Rebel's pov*
Sweat was bedding up on my forehead as I continuously beat the punching bag in front of me.

It was 5 am and my training had already started, by now I was use to the early mornings and late nights spent training. They promised me if I progressed through out the week I'd get to have my first solo mission, so training became an essential for me.

I knew I was ready for a solo mission, I had been for awhile now. Hydra thought because I was just a "kid" I needed more practice. This week was the time to prove to them I wasn't just a kid, I'm a kid that can throw people across rooms with just a thought, take down three men twice my size and scare the living shit out of adults. Within my few short weeks at Hydra I had already been given a nickname, The Viper. Now they didn't call me 13590 or Rebel, now I was the viper, and I made sure I lived up to it.

Over the past few weeks I had managed to make one friend. The Black Spade, formerly know as Luna Walker.

*Flash back*

" Alright ladies I want a clean fight, no ability use, just hand to hand." The guard reminded

I stared at my opponent, she was obviously older than me, the older the easier in my opinion. She didn't even look like a threat at all to be honest.

The whistle blew, which meant we could start.

We circled around each other a few times, I got bored of just circling so I threw the first punch. To my surprise she blocked it and swung her foot out behind me and knocked me on the ground. I quickly recover and stood back up. Now I was pissed, I tried to kick her in the stomach and she blocked the blew again, then punching me in the jaw. I managed to fake her out with a punch and keened her in the stomach. As she hunched over I flipped her onto the ground, I had pinned her down for two seconds before she pushed me off and pinned me down for good.

" Not so bad for someone so little" She mocked while still holding me down.

When the whistle blew again for us to stop she got off me and offered her hand up. I ignored her gesture and got up my own, storming out of the arena. Luna was the first opponent I wasn't able to beat since my "procedure".

From then on whenever we fought we brought our A game, trying to out do the other. We would keep a mentally tally of who won the most fights. We bonded over how competitive we both were, and what most people thought was a rivalry was actually a start of a friendship.

Luna was seventeen almost eighteen, she has been at Hydra since she was four years old. She was one of the best fighter Hydra had created, besides me of course.

Because Luna and were are so feared we are also kind of the outcasts. We sit at the dinning table alone, everyone is  way to terrified to sit with us.  At this point we just kind of accepted it, the only good thing is no one ever messes with us.

Luna was like my older sister and my best friend all in one which is great, what she is to me now is what Jax use to be, my older brother and my best friend. Luna is a highly skilled assassin, Hydra also provide her with pyrokinesis, or the ability to control fire.

As I was training when Luna walked into the arena to observe, I watched as she talked to one of the agents above who was suppose to be watching me.

" With  her abilities and  my bad ass fighting, we could take down the world" I heard Luna joke to the agent.

That's when the agent's face lit up and called out for me to stop my training.

" Alright, so I've made a change in the agreement" He said

I look over to Luna who was beaming, what could the change be and why was Luna so happy about it?

" So instead of you have your own solo mission I've decided it would be better if both you and The Black spade took on the mission together" he announced

I heart sank, this was suppose to be my mission, my solo mission. Not that I didn't love Luna, but she always seemed to seal my spotlight. This was my chance to prove I wasn't someone's side kick anymore, that I was the best of the best. My face must have gave away what I was thinking because Luna made a questionable face at me.

" Of course if Luna here is okay with it?" the agent asked, as if he needed her permission.

" DUH! why wouldn't I want to team up with this twig" she said jokingly and elbowed me in the arm

Before I got the chance to voice my opinion the agent walked off, looking very proud of his stupid decision.

After the agent had left I stormed out of the arena, not looking back to Luna who was chasing after me and calling for me.
