This is a classic and if you've been under a rock for the last few days then let me get you caught up. *wink* 

I was a young mom when Coldplay released their first album. I admit I wasn't a fan at first because I like fast upbeat dance music, hence why I love kpop,  and they were slower-paced feeling-wise and very poetic, which I didn't want at the time. I had just become a wedding dj and was learning how to read a crowd and give them what they want to keep them on the dancefloor and make a wedding fun.  Yes, I played quite a bit of Coldplay at these early weddings cause they were so popular.  Clocks just pissed me off at the time, if I remember right, I used to think Chris was a total snob, but over time, they grew on me.  Sometimes, you're just not in the right headspace to like something or see it for what it really is and it takes time.  

I think that is something you always have to keep in mind about music.  Sometimes, something has to grow on you or you have to wait till you get in the right headspace.  I couldn't write for months following the events of January 2021 because I was so angry and it took the last 3 months of just living in BTS's slower ballads, something I don't listen to a lot,  for me to calm down enough to listen to my stories again.  To start writing again.  To feel connected again.  I now have a playlist of just their slower ballads that help me get into my writing zone. 

The world right now is very fractious and full of anger and fear.  People are turning to authoritarianism in their fear of the unknown instead of embracing love, they are embracing hate. "Men's hearts would fail them" is so accurate it's not even funny.  I do not consider it a coincidence that the top band in the world is a group promoting love, acceptance, tolerance, and loving yourself so you can love others.  I think God gets his messages out in the way that people will listen and for me, BTS is his messenger to a world struggling through a pandemic and fear.  BTS is so genuinely good and pure we are lucky to have them with us. 

We are all hurt and hiding from our individual traumas when in reality we should be shouldering each other's burdens and not hiding them.  We are not to be afraid.  We are not to give in to fear.  We are to remember that we are together even if we are on different sides. 

I'll be collecting all the different versions here.   I really needed this.   I also want to thank each of you who read my stories.  You are my universe and make the journey of writing a joy with your company, fun comments, and your votes of encouragement.  I hope that we can keep traveling this universe together.

Finally, the mini-movie MV was released.  I love this so much.  I can't say how good this is.  I crack up so much at how so many ARMY freaked out that they allowed Hobi and JK to share screen space with females.  They aren't babies anymore, if you can read fanfiction where they are boinking some girl, then they can dance and sing with other females.  lol
