The week of the Kim Foundation campout was an interesting affair. You had all the regular activities that come with families and campouts. There were hikes, river tubing, tree climbing, scavenger hunts, races, capture-the-flag, geocaching, and lots of other games.

Through most of it, the animals took part. I learned that the kids only knew the family story of the animals with special eyes. They would only learn the truth once they got older.

It was fun to watch the eagle play hide and seek, although 8-year-old Kim Min Jun kept complaining that it wasn't fair that he was found so easily.

Jungkook had to be careful around the toddlers who wanted to love on the bunny but didn't know enough yet to be careful not to pull on the bunny's ears. Lots of long-suffering for him and the golden retriever.

The kids also loved the tiger and wolf. They pretty much just laid there let the kids climb all over them. Even Yoongi let a few love on him although he wasn't as patient about it. He tended to hang out with the older adults and away from the kids. Hobi fulfilled every child's secret dream of having an owl and going to Hogwarts. I heard more than one child pretending to be Harry Potter while playing with him.

While the kids played, the elders and leaders of the Foundation toured the center, took a look at current projects, and sat in meetings about future plans for the forest, Center, and what business opportunities could be opened up.

The conservationist in me struggled a bit in these meetings. I wanted to protect all that this forest was. Keep it as natural as possible, but also knew that we needed to generate an income for the center. What I wasn't prepared for were all the ways that Bangtan was involved. And only a small portion of it had anything to do with the forest they lived in. Most of their business was outside the Center. They had smart ideas and were always looking forward. They knew the trends and stayed ahead of them. Anticipating markets and needs kept them in a place where they could take advantage of changes quickly and capitalize on them. I learned that between them and the Foundation, not much was taking them by surprise and they were amassing a fortune in the process. Being 500 years older than everyone else allowed them to be patient and to take advantage of human predictability. They didn't get swayed by petty politics and small global trends. They were masters in more than just the forest.

I had wondered why the Kim Foundation listened to seven cursed guys stuck in a forest. I learned fast that they were seven extremely rich cursed guys stuck in a forest, and they had made their families rich. I couldn't help but think that if the witch wanted the power and prestige that came with marrying into the Kim family, she'd want the power and money that came with the Kim Foundation even more. I was starting to see why this woman was so obsessed with these guys. They were formidable and if she was as greedy as described, she coveted all that they were.

I was grateful for the family being here, though. I was getting to see my guys in normal mode. I was making new memories to replace the gore and horror of the wolf attack. I was seeing the goofy side of Hobi and Taehyung. I was getting to see the sweetness that was Jimin and Yoongi. I was getting to see the adventurous side of Jungkook. And over them all, they were watched over lovingly by Jin and Namjoon.

One night we were around a campfire long after little kids had gone to bed and I was snuggled in the arms of Namjoon while everyone was making smores with the other adults and the teenagers old enough to know the truth. I was enjoying the peace of the forest at night with the fire crackling while people laughed and joked around the fire. Hobi handed me a s'more that he had made for me and I happily ate it while he passed another to Namjoon.

"Uncle Namjoon?" A boy of about 17 came over to us.

"Yes, Soobin?" he looked up at the tall teenager.

"Want to play hide and seek in the woods with us?" He motioned to his cousins, Yeonjun, Taehyun, and Boemgyu.

Namjoon chuckled. "You guys will have the advantage of being able to see our eyes."

The youth grinned, "But you guys are faster and harder to catch."

Namjoon laughed and got up and we joined them. We were joined by Jungkook, the siblings' Kai, Lea, and Bahiyyih, Taehyung, and a few others.

"Your it Uncle V," Soobin yelled after hitting Taehyung in the shoulder and everyone scattered. We all ran and hid while Taehyung counted to ten. Let me tell you, hide and seek in the dark woods by guys that look like vampires is exciting and terrifying all at once. The teenagers loved it. Soobin just about jumped out of his skin when Taehyung lunged at him from around a tree with a growl. Boemgyu screamed the loudest when Namjoon caught him hiding in a tree. It wasn't that he was found in a tree that scared Boemgyu, it was that Namjoon came down the tree on top of him instead of from below. Thankfully, Namjoon kept him from falling out of the tree when he screamed.

The brother and sisters' trio was easily caught by Jungkook but in turn, they were able to find their red-eyed uncles just as easily.

As for my experience playing hide and seek in the dark with my men, we're gonna have to try this again once we know if I'm safe from the poison or not. Each of my men easily found me by scent but they would spend a few minutes pinning me against the tree with their hot eyes burning holes into me.

When Jungkook had me pinned, his hot breath scored up and down my neck while his hands roamed over me. "I want you so much." he'd whisper into my ear before breaking away to chase after the kids.

Taehyung caught me in a bush and I could see the excitement of the catch in his eyes. The triumph of having me pinned against him while his lips ghosted over my skin. He never kissed me, but the feel of him lightly brushing my skin while he firmly held me against his hard body was enough to drive me while and it was all I could do to not whimper. He chuckled as he heard my heartbeat and then in a flash, he was gone. All I could do was try to steady my erratic heartbeat and breathing.

Namjoon however, found me under a pile of dead trees and his red eyes lit up with the glory of his catch. He threw me over his shoulder and carried me over to a copse of trees that hid us from view. There he indulged the heightened excitement of catching his mate by actually kissing my neck leaving his claim for all to see. Then he left in just as much of a frenzy before we could get too carried away.

I'm in so much trouble. I hope that doctor gets his tests done soon. I can't take much more of this. I'm loving every minute of it, but I can't take much more.

Hobi finds me as I leave the trees and scoops me up to steal me away. He's soon joined by Yoongi and I lean into the hold and enjoy being close to my guys.

"Namjoon left his mark, I see," Hobi chuckles.

"At least Jungkook and Taehyung kept their lips to themselves," Yoongi laughs ruefully.

"I'm going to spontaneously combust, I'm telling you," I comment.

"You and us both," Hobi agreed. "We could feel what they were doing to you, that's why I pulled you out of there. We were all getting riled up."

"Her scent is still going to drive us crazy," Yoongi confirmed.

I nod into his chest as he holds me walking back to the campfire. I was going to need a change of underwear because of how much they had excited me. I try not to think about them being able to smell my excitement on me but what can you do when your dating supernaturals?

They both set me down on a lounger and snuggle into me from each side. Sandwiched between them, I couldn't move much and really didn't want to. I snuggled into my SOPE sandwich and just enjoyed letting our hands lightly hold each other. Occasionally they would caress my arm or my hip but they kept it under control, letting my heartbeat slow and my hormones calm down. I felt Yoongi leave the occasional kiss on the back of my neck and Hobi would nuzzle into the side of my head. I felt wanted, cherished, and loved. I honestly never thought I'd get to have so much fun with them.

I look at the ring that is sitting on my ring finger. Eight stones that represent the eight of us joined together. My soulmates. My life. My Loves.

I love family campouts.

A/N   Short but sweet.   I love camping.  Do you?
