He almost forgot how to have sex.

No, there wasn't a specific way to do it, nor was there a rule book for the act. But it had been so long since he had done anything. By the way he acted, you would never know. The man was just too busy to be worrying about having sex, pulling out, and dealing with some broad in his bed the morning after.

His professional life had been hectic these past couple weeks. When his connect was arrested, he ran into a problem. The money would soon dry up. Though he had some time before that happened, he didn't like the feeling of being unstable; it reminded him of his childhood.

He needed more product, quickly. That's why he was here tonight. With the connect sitting in jail, his affairs were out of order. Titus could potentially put him down with someone else who could make him more money in a shorter amount of time. Braxton needed to be careful because he was dealing with the enemy.

The extravagance of this party was just a distraction from what really needed to be done. And Nadine was contributing to the effectiveness of that distraction.

Braxton wasn't paying attention to anything other than the intercourse they were having at this very moment. He didn't have to say anything because she already knew what to do. It was her job to please men for money, and this man was very important. She did what she had to.

Nadine had been taking charge for most of the night, but Braxton was ready to change that.

He flipped her over on all fours and slowly entered her. Her back arched as his pace quickened.

The sound of their skin clapping definitely couldn't be heard over the blaring music, so they were free to make as much noise as they wanted. Despite this, Nadine but her lip to stop from moaning.

She hadn't felt this much pleasure in a long time. She had sex for a living, but none of it was ever good sex. It was alright; she often faked her orgasm to get her check. Tonight, she wouldn't have to fake anything.

Behind her, Braxton tugged on her hair and deepened his stokes. She couldn't help but yell out. The feeling was pure bliss. He used her moans as motivation, it was turning him on.

He released her hair and flipped her over on her back. He spread and pushed her legs open, giving him space to enter. Her breathing hitched with his quick pace. One hand groped her chest while the other toyed with her clit.

Nadine was about to cum, and he could feel her tightening around him. She tried to scoot away from him. He used one of his hands to grab her neck. After the several climaxes she had reached tonight, he wanted to be sure this was the most powerful one. Her legs started to twitch and she could barely breathe, but that was the least of her worries.

Braxton leaned down and whispered in her ear, "Take that shit."

He placed both of his hands on either side of her and began to slow down. With each thrust he went deeper and deeper inside of her. She closed her eyes and let him have his way with her, enjoying every second of it.

Titus downed the Grey Goose and shook his leg with annoyance. It was 3 am and Nadine didn't even seem to be here. He knew she hadn't left because he had eyes on the room she was in. Whatever she was doing was taking too long and it made him anxious.

"You said this chick worked fast so where she at?" Green asked. He was Titus' partner in all of this scheming.

Titus slammed his glass down and stood up from the office chair. "I'on know man. She should be done by now."

"Aye, I'on have a good feeling about this. You strapped?" Titus scrunched his face up at Green. What kind of question was that? "Of course."

Their connect had an issue with Braxton's connect, which is why they tipped off the police to get him arrested. Neither Green nor Titus were involved in the one-sided feud. In reality, they were just underlings in a rivaling business.

Braxton worked with the Mendoza family, transporting their drugs from Honduras to anywhere necessary in the contiguous United States. Not only did he have roots in LA, but he was also in Dallas, Chicago, the DMV, Miami, and too many other cities and territories to count. Lately he and the head of the Mendozas, Diego Mendoza, were increasing in wealth and power. Between their business and rival Carti, there was a lot of competition.

On Carti part, however, there was more animosity. He wanted Diego out of the picture so he could stop being second to some lowlife family like the Mendoza's. Diego wasn't worried about Carti, which made it even easier for him to tip off the DEA and get him arrested. Had Diego paid Carti attention as a threat to his business, things would be different and he wouldn't be sitting in jail.

Now, the only thing standing in Cartier's way and the top was Braxton. There was info circulating that Braxton was in charge while Diego was away. He didn't know whether or not it was true, but eliminating Braxton would make Cartier the front runner in this game.

Rumor or not, it had to be done.

The two men suspected that the phone contained drop off locations, passwords, and important names and dates on it. Once it was in their hands, Braxton would be dead. There was no use keeping him for interrogation. When you've been doing it as long as he had, snitching was never an option.

Nadine looked behind her and made sure he was asleep. Her whole body felt like lead and her toes tingled. Braxton had tired her out, and by the way he was sleeping he had tired himself out as well.

She made no noise when rolling off the bed. This reminded of her of when she used to take married clients. On several occasions, Nadine has had to sneak out of a married man's bed. The pay was good, but cheating husbands always had angry wives.

Her bra lay on the floor below the bed. Nadine reached down and grabbed it, noticing Braxton's jacket sitting next to it. The right pocket was empty except for a couple receipts and his wallet. She knew he was rich. If he lost a couple bucks, what was he gonna do? Nadine snatched three hundred dollar bills from his wallet and tried to put it back exactly the way she found it.

The left pocket held his phone. She didn't want to waste any time fooling around on it. As soon as it grazed her fingertips she stood from the floor. Nadine searched quietly for her dress. It wasn't near the door, next to the bed, or anywhere that she could see in the dim light. She didn't want to risk turning the light on and waking him. Her phone had a flashlight, but she most likely left it downstairs with her clutch. She placed the phone down on what felt like a table, and tiptoed into the bathroom.

She left the door cracked slightly and turned the light on. The gold chained dress was right in the middle of the bathroom floor. She remembered how Braxton had thrown her dress down hurriedly in order to get her fully naked.

She switched on the faucet and washed her hands, letting some of the water splash on her hot face. In about five minutes she would have nothing more to be nervous about.

Back in the room, she could hear the loud buzz of Braxton's phone vibrating. She peaked out the crack, "Fuck," Nadine cursed. She should have silenced it, or brought it in with her. He started to stir in the bed.

Her heart was the only thing she could hear when the gunshots started. The only music in the air were those loud screams and the pop pop pop of the weapons she knew all too well. She snatched the dress up off the floor and ran out to the room. His phone was still where she left it.

Like she was racing, Nadine flew over to the device and grabbed it. Her hand twisted the door nob and she almost stepped out.

A strong forced yanked her by her hair. Her head jerked as she hit the ground with a large thud. The door slammed and locked shut.

Nadine had absolutely no clue as to what was going on. She was tasked with getting this phone to Titus in exchange for a reward. Nowhere did their agreement involved shooting and potentially dying. If she would have known her life would be put in this much danger, she would not have let Titus talk her into this.

The cold steel of a gun barrel was aimed at her neck, forcing her chin upward. Her eyes had well adjusted to the low light. In the darkness she could clearly see Braxton's face.

His jaw was clenched and his eyes were devoid of life.

Then she realized what this was: a set up. He was never going to leave here alive. This was about more than just his phone. What did they need with a piece of technology when they could have the actual person? Titus got him to this party without him even suspecting it was a trap.

Clearly, he had some idea of what was to come. He came with his gun.

"What the fuck is goin' on?"

He pressed the barrel further into her neck, making her choke. "I'on know. I swear to God, I don't-"

"Bullshit. Gimme' the truth this time or you might not make it."

Nadine turned it over in her mind. If she gave Titus up would she even make it out of this? She remained silent as he pressed the gun further into her neck. It was almost impossible to breathe with his weight on her, too.

Braxton hit her on the forehead with the butt of the gun. He needed time to think of a way to get out of this. He grabbed his phone and called Darius.

"I know man, we on the way." He hung up, leaving Braxton with an unconscious Nadine. He didn't really believe in taking hostages, but today he would make an exception.

Someone outside was banging on the door in an attempt to bust it down. Braxton left Nadine's body out on the ground and hid behind the restroom door while the guy outside successfully got the door down. He could hear the screaming and shooting going on downstairs.

The guy walked around the room as if he was looking for something or someone. He walked over to where her body lay in the middle of the floor across from the restroom. Braxton watched from the crack in the door.

A sharp kick to the gut made Nadine gasp for air. Her head throbbed and her vision was blurry. Looking up, she saw the man who had just dropped her off here hours earlier. He grabbed her arms and dragged her out of the room. Nadine turned around and tried to grab onto the bed post. She knew she would surely die if she went with him.

Braxton didn't care about what happened to her. However, it didn't feel right to hide in the shadows while she was getting snatched up like that. He stepped out and sent a shot to the stranger's chest. He slumped over onto Nadine's chest.

She wanted so badly to cry, but she knew now wasn't the time for that. She was lifted up from under the man and pulled away by Braxton. Nadine was unsure about what he would do with her. As soon as they left through the broken doorway, she ran.

His grip was too tight on her wrists for her to get very far.

"Fuck is you gon' do? Dodge all these bullets with no gun? You ain't even got no clothes on." She looked around at the bodies strewn across the floors, staining the ground in blood.

He yanked her in the direction of the stairs, despite her protests. While coming around the corner he had already shot two people, and his clip was emptying quickly. He just hoped Darius was out back, waiting for him.

It was quiet downstairs, except for a few voices. He listened and waited for any important info to come up. He held his hand over Nadine's mouth.

She had no plans on yelling out for help. It was cold, she was exhausted and scared for her life. The only thing Titus would do is shoot her dead and end it all.

"You see 'em leave?"

"Call..."

He couldn't make out what they were saying, and decided it best to make it out of there alive rather than get info. Besides, he could get that from Nadine.

Braxton eyed the back door. He would have to walk through the kitchen to get to it, but that would be impossible. Most of everyone left alive was gathered around the island. The front door was more likely to give them away, but there was no other choice. There was only one man standing between them and the exit. Braxton was going to try his best not to shoot since it was quieting down in the house.

He kept his grip on Nadine firm and lead her to the foyer in front of the door. The two crouched down behind a side table and waited for the guard to turn around. He must have heard or sensed them and began looking around.

The man turned and went toward the kitchen. The door behind him swiveled open, causing the guard to turn around. However, it was far too late for him to do anything. Darius had already sent two bullets to his chest.

Braxton mentally cursed at Darius for not killing him discreetly. The men in the kitchen flooded out to where they were. Nadine was pulled up by Braxton and ushered out the door. From inside, the three were being shot at. Braxton used Nadine as a shield; he was not dying tonight by any chance.
