Love is made up of three unconditional properties in equal measure:
1. Acceptance
2. Understanding
3. Appreciation
Remove any one of the three and the triangle falls apart. Which, by the way, is something highly inadvisable. Think about it — do you really want to live in a world of only two dimensions? So, for the love of a triangle, please keep love whole. - Vera Nazarian, The Perpetual Calendar of Inspiration

Bricks...

"Hop up in the Rari and change your life
Looking at my diamonds, you see the ice
When I'm in the Phantom I swerve to the right
Money on me every day and every night
Baby girl you're fine, you look so fly
Hop up in my Lambo and take a ride
When we on an island you look so right
We can do this like all night." Zee sings, pulling the phone back and forth from her face. I straight face her, as she pops a pretzel in her mouth. She's on set of a photoshoot/video shoot, chilling in the dressing room with her robe on.

"Turn that shit off, who is that any way?" I question annoyed.

"Soulja Boy- So Cold." She laughs, still singing along to it. I smack my lips, fixing the pillow behind my head.

"Nigga is ass. He ain't have a hit since Crank Dat." I confirm.

"But baby he be getting money! He just signed a $400 million deal, true story." She sings to the beat as Piper dab's in the background. They both burst into laughter as I roll my eyes and shake my head.

"But that nigga still corny." I mumble.

"I mean music not the same no more to be honest. The rapper can be corny, with a good trap beat, says 'pipe up' or any other good ad-libs and he got a track on his hands." Piper butts in.

"Like Migos." This irrelevant female says.

"What?!" Zee, Piper and I say in unison.

"I mean like the beats are nice, but they don't be talking about shit. It's always 'remember when I was in the bando trapping' and shit like that." She shrugs.

"What rapper or singer doesn't repeat their self though. The radio plays songs that are mostly related to money, drugs and sex because let's be honest, that's what everyone wants to hear. But Migos be talking about real shit though, y'all be—" Zee fakes a nap with a snore while closing her eyes.

"Sleep! Like fuck outta here. " She chuckles as Piper and I burst into laughter. You can't argue about Migos with Zee yo, that's her favorite group. She'll put your ass in your place in a minute about them. She wanna be the fourth member of the group so bad.

"I mean I can't understand a word they saying. Maybe it's because I'm not from here or the south." She shrugs.

"Ok my husband is from New York honey and he understands every word, so what is your excuse moe?" Zee shrugs, looking over in the girl's direction.

"Yo you really geeked Zee calm down." Piper laughs, from afar.

"I'm just saying." She shrugs.

"Chill out yo." I chuckle, pulling the covers up to my neck. She stands up from her chair, making her way to the bathroom. I close my eyes, sitting my phone up on the lamp for support. My arm started to get tired holding that phone up.

"Baby." Zee whines.

"Hmm." I'm respond half sleep.

"Are you sleep?" She chuckles.

"No."

"You ain't got to lie Bricks, you ain't got to lie!" She says in her Joi voice from Friday. I laugh shaking my head.

"I'm tired baby. And I'm ready to come home, tomorrow can't get here fast enough." I pout causing her to laugh.

"You ain't lying the kids and I miss you. Especially me." She smirks. I laugh shaking my head.

"I ain't even know it's been a month since you healed. We barely have sex now, so that's  probably why it slipped my mind." I shrug.

"That's good because we communicate more now and I like that. But we've been celibate for four months, so I think I'm ready." I nod. Zee and I had vowed to go four months without sex, to work on communication in our marriage.

She explained to me how, we were doing the same exact shit from before while just being married. It was a rough three months. We argued, stopped speaking to one another for a bit but when we apologized, we left it at that. We learned that not every argument is resolved with make up sex. It actually just complicates things.

"We not just gone get into it first. I'm taking you out to dinner." I tell her.

"Oo! Forreal! Can we pretend it's our first? We never had our first date." I furrow my eyebrows.

"Damn, we sure didn't did we?" She shakes her head no, with a saddened face.

"I'm fucking up." I sigh.

"No you're not baby. I mean the way we started out was never like a regular couples. You know when you're complete strangers, and you have conversations and become as one. We known one another since we're 10, had relations at 17 and parted for a while. Then we got back together when you came back from NYU at 21 and we just began where we left off. I mean we went out here and there, but it was never a date you know? Just two friends, who had sex and ate out from time to time." I nod in understanding, still not satisfied. She's my wife that I fought hard to marry, yet I haven't showed her how much I love her like I always tell her.

"Zee, Kid needs you on set." Piper says from afar.

"Aight baby, I'll see you when you get home tonight some time. I love you." She blows me a kiss and I catch it, stamping it on my heart.

"I love you too baby, give my babies my love when you pick them up." She nods, and we exchange a couple words, hanging up afterward. I put my phone on the charger, turning the tv off as I turned over. I got a flight to catch in eight hours, and I know if I stay up I'll miss that flight. I miss my family.

Back in DC...

I hop out the i8, throwing the brush back in the car when done. I grab the bouquet of white roses, closing the door. I walk up to the door of the house, knocking once I got there.

"Zee!" I hear Zara's voice call. Just then the door opens revealing Scrapp and Knight, with crossed arms. I swallow nervously, furrowing my brows.

"Can we help you?" Knight questions with a raised brow. I could of swore this was my house. I clear my throat.

"I'm here to pick up Zee, I'm her date for the evening." I smile awkwardly. Knight looked at me funny.

"Zee! Your date is here!"

"Just let him in! I'm having a wardrobe malfunction!" She whines. Knight and Scrapp, grab me by my shoulders pulling me in the house. I hiss, adjusting my shoulders. Niggas built for no reason.

"That's right nephew we don't love these hoes. No." Cornelius coos to Imer. I frown, about to follow him, but get cut off when Zara takes the flowers out my hand. Connor hands me Imani. I cradle her as she smiles with her hands in her mouth.

"Hey princess." I coo. She kicks her little feet with her cheeky grin. I missed her little face. Hers and Imer's.

"She just had some happy juice." Sidney chuckles, taking her from me. She walks away and I turn around to Knight and Scrapp again. They both raise a brow crossing their arms.

"You a virgin?" Knight questions.

"Daddy!" Zee yells from upstairs.

"I just wanna know."

"I don't think that's any of your business honestly. But I have two kids so your question is basically answered." I say in an unsure tone.

"Hol' pop he talking back. He talking back what do we do?" Scrapp questions.

"Magnum?" Knight questions, scrolling out a pack of condoms. I laugh as we all day, talking amongst ourselves. That's when we heard a throat clear. We all turned out attention to Zade, Zee and Sidney looking like the cover of The Writing on the Wall by Destiny Child. If looks could kill.

"Hey baby."

"Don't hey baby me. Y'all are the worst actors I ever hired. Daddy and Scrapp, you can forget that two for twenty at Applebee's. Bricks let's go." She says pulling my hand towards the door. I couldn't help but laugh as I said bye to everyone.

"Bring her back here by midnight! No later or I'm coming after that ass!" Knight hollers behind us, I chuckle, opening the door for Zee.

"Nope! See you in the morning!" Zee responds causing us all to laugh.

"I tried." Knight chuckles.

"I know Daddy, I love you."

"I love you too." I close the door, getting in and buckling up. I crank the car up, turning the radio off as I pull off out the driveway.

"You look beautiful." I compliment, switching the tooth pick to other side of my mouth. She smiles, combing her fingers through my beard. I side eye her in that black tight dress, smirking.

"Thank you. You look handsome yourself. You got a shape up?" She questions. I nod taking her hand in mine, intertwining our fingers.

"Yea. Simi hooked me up." I tell her.

"Well he did a good job. How was Trinidad though? I know you were cutting up."

"Hennessy every night, relaxation and the festival! Asses for days." I sing, laughing afterward. Zee raises a brow, rolling her eyes as she looks forward.

"Chill you know I look but I'm only checking for you. I'm a man, I'm blessed to see to I'm going to look."

"Just as long as you don't touch, we'll be fine. Also no more going to clubs and shit without me. I might have to put some paws on a bitch before the night is over with." I burst into laughter, as she smiles with blushed cheeks.

"You're not fighting nobody, but I gotchu, no more clubs without you." I kiss the back of her hand, as the rest of the ride is silent. We pull up to the restaurant, and the valet helps Zee out, all up in her face. I was ready to beat his ass, but I'm trying to keep my cool for Zee. We enter the place, and the host walks us to our reserved table. It's a booth and I didn't want to sit apart from her, so I sat right next to her.

"So you're going to be up under me all night?" She laughs. I nod, giving her a couple kisses on her cheek as we look over the menus.

"How's Imeni Blessings and your modeling career going?" I question.

"Good. The gold bracelets with the 12 month birthstones on them will be released this spring. You can choose from the 12 month bracelet, to the one with just your personal birthstone. I have a feeling the singles will be sold the most. So for the 12 month bracelet, I'm only selling five of those. First come first serve." I nod.

"That's good. I'm glad you found something you like to do." I put my attention on her smiling for days making her laugh.

"What?" I chuckle.

"Nothing." She giggles, putting her hand on the side of my face. She looks from my eyes to my lips, leaning in. Her soft lips touch mine, slowly peeling back. She sucks on my bottom lip for entrance, I give it to her letting her have the throne.

"Ehkem." Someone says. Zee and I both laugh pulling back, putting our attention on the waiter.

"Good evening welcome to Bajiao's, my name is Tom and I'll be your server, can I start you off with your drinks?" Zee and I nod ordering both our food and drinks. Zee and I talk the rest of the night, feeding each other and cracking jokes. After eating Zee ordered desert. I couldn't eat nothing else. I'm drunk and my stomach is pass full. I got a pudge I ate so much.

"Babe." Zee calls. I laugh, sitting up.

"Yea."

"Come on. We're going home." She laughs, sliding out the booth. She pays for the food, and we leave out. The valet brings my car around and Zee opens the door for me. I stumble to the door, getting in. After closing the door, Zee gets in and drives off.

°°°°

"You sneaking me in yo daddy house. Ahhhhha! We finna fuck." I slur as Zee laughs closing the door.

"Bricks shut up." She chuckles standing in the foyer. I walk backwards towards the steps, tripping and falling on the step. Zee and I both laugh as she walks towards me.

"Ow." I whimper in laughter, holding onto my rib. That shit hurt like a bitch.

"You ok?" Zee questions, helping me up. I lick my lips, nodding as I stumble to my feet.

"We're— we're not fucking are we?" I hiccup with furrowed brows. Zee shakes her head no laughing.

"You're drunk baby." She giggles. I nod, stumbling to the stairs as Zee follows, supporting me so I won't fall. We go to the guest room, I flop on the bed face first laughing.

"You so silly." She chuckles, making her way to the rest room. I kick my timb's off, stripping down to my draws climbing in the bed, under the covers. I watch as Zee, takes her jewelry off, putting her hair in a bonnet after. She takes her dress off, making her way in the room while turning the light off. As soon as she climbs in the bed, I snatch the bonnet off her head laughing hysterically.

"Bricks stop playing!" She whines, reaching for it. I laugh, hissing as she bites me. I mush her head back.

"You don't bite that's nastyy." Zee burst into laughter, straddling my waist as I play around keeping it out her reach.

"Ooooooo. You almost had it you gotta be quicker t- Oh shit!" I laugh falling out the bed.

"You ok?" Zee questions, looking down at me from the bed. I shake my head no.

"No. My other half is a million miles away." I fake sob. Zee climbs off the bed, with the covers laying on top of me. I smile, wrapping my arms around her feeling her smooth skin against mine. She wraps her arms around me, laying her head in the crook of my neck.

"Better." She questions. I nod, gliding my hands down to her ass dozing off.

"I love you Jefe." She whispers, kissing my neck. I smile, catching her lips with mine.

"I love you too."
