U.A. holds special classes a few times a year during the weekends for those who want extra training opportunities.

Today, the students attending were Todoroki, Midoriya, Iida, Uraraka, Himura and Bakugo.

"In this class, you will fight and capture a hypothetical villain." explained Aizawa. "This should be obvious, but villains commit many different types of crimes. Your job will be to go to the scene of the crime and determine what happened, whether or not it was caused by a villain, and whether or not you should fight. This way you will train your ability to assess and deal with these types of situations. Your special instructors will be--"

Before Aizawa could finish, All Might burst through the door in his usual overly dramatic manner "I am here coming through the back door!"

He was followed by Midnight, Cementoss and Present Mic.

"Now, let us all meet at Ground Beta to begin training." said Aizawa.

---

Once at the arena, the students gathered around Aizawa to hear the premise of the task.

"A villain has entered a jewelry store, and he has taken the employees and customers hostage. Everyone has been barricaded inside, and the police is on standby." he explained. "The number of villains and hostages is unknown. You have all been asked to come and resolve the incident."

"Professor!" Iida put his arm up passionately. "The teachers inside the store playing the roles of hostages and villai--"

"I will not be answering any questions. Verify the situation and figure it our for yourselves. Let the training begin!"

An alarm sounded off signalling the beginning of the task.

Aizawa left the training grounds and the students were left alone.

"Alright, what should we do..." said Midoriya "I'm thinking we need to know how many hostages and villains are present first."

"Uraraka, you go." said Katsuki.

"Alone?" the girl asked, surprised.

"If we all stream in the villains will notice. You can float to that window and look inside."

"O-okay. I can do that."

"Isn't it dangerous?" asked Iida.

"We can distract the villains while she goes." said Shiori, pulling up her phone and dialling the store's number.

A raspy, deep voice answered.

"It's All Might, he's playing the villain." Shiori covered the phone to tell the others.

"Uraraka, go. You can use your hands to signal how many people you see." Midoriya rushed her on.

She floated up to the window, and looked back at the group, holding up a one and a three.

"One villain, three hostages." whispered Midoriya.

"Okay, what now?" asked Todoroki.

"I have some ideas." growled Bakugo, impatiently.

"Should we go around the back of the store?" added Iida, ignoring him.

"No, it's barred as well." said Shiori.

"We could go off some of Bakugou's ideas." shrugged Midoriya.

"Those aren't ideas as much as they are random acts of violence." Shiori said, interjecting.

"What if we try to reach the store through the roof?" suggested Todoroki.

Midoriya put his hand on his chin. "Well, we actually--"

"This is stupid !" Katsuki interrupted. "I can go in and while I'm firing explosions at the villain you guys can save the hostages or something!"

"Do you always have to be so impetuous?" Shiori rolled her eyes.

"What are you saying? He's by the window!" Before anyone could stop him, Bakugo jumped into action. "This is our chance!"

He blew up the store's entrance, leaving shards of glass everywhere.

When the others caught up to him, they noticed the villain on the ground, with blood running down his body.

"The villain... is dead." Midoriya whispered.

Shiori made her way over to All Might and tickled his nose, making him giggle.

"He's not actually dead, but it looks like he's supposed to be." she said.

"You killed him?!" asked Uraraka, coming down from the window.

"It wasn't that strong of an explosion!" Katsuki rebutted. "Weren't you watching from up there anyway?"

"I couldn't see anything with all the smoke!"

"The murder weapon is over there." Todoroki pointed to a knife on the ground. "The place is surrounded, so whoever did has to be in here still!"

"Let's listen to what the hostages have to say." Midoriya headed towards the three hostages, untying them.

"I am an employee of this jewelry store" said Cementoss. "This villain suddenly appeared, and after I gave him the jewels, he tied me up with a rope."

"I came to buy some accessories, but when I came in the villain was already here." said Midnight. "He caught me when I was still too surprised to do anything."

"Yo, I came to buy an engagement ring, yo, for my girl!" added Present Mic. "Then the villain appeared and hit me with a lariat and I was knocked out, yo!"

"The damn villain was killed." growled Bakugo. "The culprit is one of them!"

"What do we do about it?" asked Todoroki.

"I can deal with them." Katsuki held up his hands, baking small explosions go off on his palms.

"You're not beating the answers out of them, Katsuki." said Shiori.

"Damn." he growled.

"Besides, what would their motive be to kill him?"

"The stolen jewelry of course!"

"The jewelry is still here, dingus. No one took them."

"Maybe some sort of internal conflict?" asked Uraraka.

"You three are sure the villain was alone?" asked Todoroki.

"Yes!" replied the hostages.

"Wouldn't it be best to let the police handle this?" Uraraka wondered.

"That's so frustrating, since we know the killer is here with us..." Midoriya added.

"Once again, LET'S JUST BEAT IT OUT OF THEM!" Bakugo yelled.

"Bakugo!" Todoroki complained.

"I swear I will hand you over to the police myself !" Shiori pushed his arm down to keep him from blowing the hostages up.

"Something has been bothering me..." said Midoriya. "Why did the villain barricade himself at the store?"

"While I was putting the jewelry in a bag, the police arrived!" Cementoss explained. "He asked me to lock the store then."

"So you didn't call the police?" wondered Iida. "That means someone from the outside saw what was happening and made the call."

"Indeed... which means the one who called the police was..." Midoriya turned to face the hostages. "Midnight, wasn't it?"

"M-Me?" she asked, nervously.

"You were the only one who came in after the villain."

"Don't make it worse, you idiot!" Katsuki objected. "Why would the person who called the police come in to get caught on purpose?"

"That's because - because I think she's the reason the villain barricaded himself in here. Midnight, you knew him before this incident, didn't you?" Midoriya asked. "On top of that, you knew he committed crimes. Knowing he would rob the store, you called the police and attempted to stop him yourself before they arrived."

"What the--" Shiori whispered.

"He must have been surprised to see you, but he also understood your real intentions - even so, the villain continued the robbery, and when the police arrived he barricaded himself in."

"W-why would I do something like that--?" Midnight gathered her hands before her chest, in indignation.

"No matter how many times you tried to convince him to stop, he wouldn't, would he?" Midoriya added.

"But then why would she kill him?" Iida interjected.

"She didn't." Shiori whispered.

"...suicide?" Todoroki wondered.

"Probably." Midoriya continued. "The villain probably realized that if he got caught his relationship with Midnight might be exposed, and he didn't want to cast such a dark shadow over her life.... which is why he sealed his mouth with his own hands. Midnight didn't tell us the truth because she must have realized what he was thinking before he gave up his life for her."

Midnight fell to her knees in tears.

"Deku... were Midnight and the villain...?" asked Urarka.

He nodded quietly in response.

"She was trying to save the villain because she loved him, and he gave up his life because he loved her..." Iida added with melancholia.

"For that to end up this way..." Todoroki lowered his head. "How ironic..."

"Oh wow, this is so.... dramatic." Shiori raised an eyebrow.

"What the HELL IS THIS JOKE?!" Bakugo complained.

In that instant, Aizawa made his way into the store.

"Okay, that's it!" he said. "Midoriya, you got the story right."

"Good job, Deku!" cheered Uraraka.

"But you guys overlooked one major thing." continued Aizawa. "Therefore, your score on the task is zero."

"WHAT?!" the students asked, in unison.

"Look-" he pointed to the spot the villain's body once was, but it was empty.

"Where is the body?!" Iida despaired.

The students ran outside to find All Might charging down the streets.

"HE'S ALIVE?!"

"You were all under the assumption the villain was a corpse and failed to tie him up, so you lose." Aizawa walked outside to join them.

"Is that allowed?" Uraraka wondered, feeling cheated.

"He gave you bunch a hint when he giggled while Himura tickled him. Corpses don't move. He was alive."

Aizawa walked away, leaving the group dumbfounded.

"WHAT A JOKE!" Katsuki yelled in frustration.

"Wait a minute..." Iida wondered. "if the villain is alive, then he pretended to kill himself in order to escape, right?"

"Midnight misunderstood and thought he did it for her, didn't she?" Shiori shook her head.

"What about their love?!" cried Uraraka.

"Their love!" added Midoriya

"...their love...?" whispered Todoroki.

"THERE WAS NO LOVE!" Bakugo yelled.

---

As always, Shiori and Katsuki walked home together.

When they were almost at Katsuki's place, she decided to stop ignoring the fact that he has been murmuring under his breath the whole way home.

"What's with you?" Shiori asked, humorously.

"What are you talking about, Stitch?!" he asked angrily.

"You've been mumbling to yourself, what's bothering you?"

"I don't mumble!" he yelled. "I'm just angry at that stupid school for wasting my time with such a stupid lesson."

"I don't think it was stupid! It was quite insightful if you paid attention to what they were trying to say."

"Pffft, just some stupid crap about love - ridiculous! Heroes don't need love, heroes WIN!"

He looked down at the floor with furrowed brows.

"You don't think heroes need love?" Shiori asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Love makes people weak." he stated. "Heroes can't be weak."

'He really doesn't learn...' she thought, shaking her head.

"Katsuki, I'm sad to hear that you think love is a weakness." Shiori turned her head and smiled. "I think love makes people more willing to make sacrifices for the right cause. Heroes who understand that are stronger and better at what they do."

The boy looked at her with intrigue.

Before he could say anything, they arrived at the front yard of Katsuki's place.

"Hey kids! How was school?" asked Mitsuki, who was cutting the weeds.

"Don't be nosey, old hag." Katsuki muttered, headed for the front door.

"HAVE SOME RESPECT BOY!" she threw a small shovel at his head.

Waving, Shiori began to walk away. However, she could still hear the ruckus inside the Bakugo household.

"Why is it so damn hot in this house!" Katsuki complained.

"It's still summer you brat!" Mitsuki yelled back. "And you better start behaving, cause it's a lot hotter in hell!"

She couldn't help but giggle - these two would never change.
