Late at night, Shiori was waiting in the front of the hospital with Kirishima and Todoroki.

She was pacing back and forth anxiously, while Kirishima watched with a concerned look on his face.

"Uh, you okay there, Shi?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." she replied, clearly not fine.

"We'll get him back, you know?"

Shiori stopped and took a deep breath. "Yeah, I know. I just... I can't wait until he's here again."

Kirishima walked towards her and put a hand on her shoulder. "You guys had a fight, didn't you?"

"Huh?"

"Before the courage test. You guys fought."

"We... yes. And I never got the chance to make it better." Shiori looked down to the floor. "And now if anything happens to him, and I-"

"Hey, nothing is gonna happen to him. It's Bakugo, remember? He's probably making those villains regret ever thinking about taking him. Even if it's just by annoying them to oblivion."

Shiori smiled. While she knew Bakugo was strong, but she also knew he must be scared - even if he would never ever admit it.

Suddenly, the hospital doors opened.

"Midoriya!" said Todoroki.

"Izuku, you've decided to come?" asked Shiori.

"Well, I-"

But before Midoriya could speak, Iida appeared, waking towards them from the street.

"Wait!" he said, angrily.

"Iida..." Midoriya whispered.

"Why... Why did it have to be you guys of all people? The ones who stopped me when I acted recklessly for personal reasons... you two, who received amnesty with me... Why are you trying to make the same mistake I did?!"

"What are you talking about?" asked Kirshima, but Todoroki put a hand on his shoulders, signalling for him to stop.

"We are still minors." continued Iida. "U.A. is in a bad enough position as it is. Who will take responsibility for your actions? Do you understand?!"

"Iida, it is not like that." said Midoriya, walking towards his friend. "We don't think its okay to break the rules either--"

Then, Iida stopped him by punching him in the face.

"I'm frustrated too!" he screamed. "And worried! It's only natural! I'm the class president, I'm worried about all my classmates!"

Shiori used her Quirk and moved with a flash to stand between Midoriya and Iida.

"Iida, that's enough." she said, quietly. "If you want to take it out on anyone, do it to me."

"What?" asked Kirshima. "Shiori-"

But she stopped him from speaking by sticking out her hand.

"Listen, Iida. They are not only doing this because they are worried about Bakugo. I did my best to convince them to do it with me, because I can't live with myself knowing Bakugo isn't safe."

"Himura, understand, I am also worried-"

"No, Iida. You don't understand." Shiori looked up at his eyes. "I know this is wrong. And I feel horrible for putting everyone in this mess with me. But I can't not do anything, because..." she took a deep breath and clenched her fists. "...because I love him."

Everyone instantly froze. To Midoriya and Kirishima, who knew Shiori and Bakugo best out of everyone, it wasn't exactly a surprise. But it didn't make the situation any less unexpected.

Shiori had never said those words to anyone, but if it meant Iida would let them go, she was ready to admit it to herself.

"Shiori-chan..." whispered Midoriya, looking at her with concerned eyes.

Iida seemed the most shocked of all, mainly because he had no response. "Himura, you-"

"Iida, listen." said Todoroki, stepping in. "We don't plan on facing the villains head-on and win either. We'll extricate him without fighting."

"In other words, covert action!" added Kirishima. "That's the way we students can fight while toeing the line on the rules."

"Iida, I also want to rescue Kacchan." said Midoriya. "After my doctor said I could still reach, I can't help but think it is my duty to help."

Iida closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "We can't come to an agreement, can we? Well, then take me with you! That way, I can stop you if things go too far."

"But-" Kirishima began to say.

"Alright." said Shiori, taking out her tracker receiver. "But we have no time to waste. Let's go."

---

The group was riding the train while discussing their strategy.

"We need disguises." said Midoriya. "We are too easily recognized after the sports festival, and the villains already know all of us."

"Midoriya is right." said Iida. "We should go to the shopping district."

"Just so that we're clear..." said Todoroki. "You all know that what we're doing is selfish and that no one wants us to do it, right?"

"Yes, but I am not hesitating." said Kirishima. "Bakugo is not someone who would let the villains do whatever they want with him."

"I started this whole thing." said Shiori. "I'm not giving up until we get him back."

"I am not turning back either." said Midoriya.

"I see." nodded Todoroki. "Alright."

---

When they got to the shopping district, they entered a store called 'Dirt-Cheap Donki Oote.'

There, they bought what Shiori thought were the most ridiculous looking disguises ever.

Midoriya put on a cheap-looking suit and a fake goatee, which in the end made him look like a second grade gangster.

Todoroki wore a wig that looked like an emo octopus, and his outfit was a mix of cocktail waiter with Italian mafioso jewelry.

Iida was dressed like what Shiori deemed to be a blend of modern hipster with a dash of Lumière.

All Kirishima did was sleek his hair down and put on fake horns. Shiori thought he just looked like a soft boy version of himself, but that that point, she had already given up on those disguises actually doing anything for them.

Finally, Shiori put on a ridiculously girly long-sleeved red dress and sunglasses, and she tied her hair up.

They stepped out into the streets looking like the most suspicious group ever, but they just ran along with it.

Suddenly, they heard a voice shout. "Hey, look, it's U.A!"

'What? They recognized us already?' Shiori thought.

But when she looked up, she saw a giant screen on a building was displaying the news.

"Is that... Mr. Aizawa?" asked Kirshima.

"And Principal Nezu too." said Midoriya.

"We deeply apologize for the incident that allowed for harm to come to 27 first years of the hero course because of our unpreparedness." said Aizawa. "We apologize for causing unease in society due to out negligence in properly defending ourselves as a place of learning."

"Mr. Aizawa, who hates being on TV, is..." whispered Kirishima.

"Since the beginning of the year, the U.A. students have had many encounters with villains." said a reporter. "This time, there were even students injured. How did you explain this to the families, and what are some specific countermeasures you are taking?"

"I can't believe they are treating them like the bad guys." said Shiori, frowning. "Mr. Aizawa almost died for us."

"We will increase policing in the surrounding area and review security within the school, ensuring the student's safety with a strong position." said Principal Nezu.

As he said that, Shiori watched as the other onlookers complained and bashed the name of U.A.

"This is so unfair..." said Midoriya. "They are being pulled in a bad direction."

"What about the kidnapped student Bakugo?" asked another reporter. "He enrolled at U.A. High with excellent marks and won the sports festival. On the other hand, the violence he showed in the finals and his attitude at the award ceremony shows that he is not always very stable mentally. What if the villains kidnapped him because they had an eye on that? Kidnapping him with deceitful words, and dyeing him with the path of evil?"

A chill ran down Shiori's spine. The idea of them trying to convince Bakugo to join them make her sick to her stomach.

"As an educator, I take full responsibility for Katsuki Bakugo's violent behaviour." said Aizawa, bowing. "However, his actions at the sports festival originate in what he considers to be 'ideal strength.' He is trying harder than anyone in his pursuit of becoming the top hero. If the villains saw that and thought they had an opening, then I believe they are bing short-sighted."

Shiori looked up at her teacher, with her heart filled with emotions. It was no surprise to her that he cared about his students, but she was impressed at how well Mr. Aizawa had been paying attention.

"Thank you..." she found herself whispering.

"Yo, guys." said Kirshima. "We have to go."

"Right." said Midoriya. "Shiori, where to next?"

The girl took out her tracker and activated it.

"We're headed to the--" Shiori suddenly froze.

"What? What's wrong?" asked Todoroki.

"The tracker suddenly disappeared, and reappeared somewhere else." she said, frowning.

"That can only mean one thing." said Midoriya. "Warp gate."

"So where is Bakugo now?" asked Iida.

"Camino Ward." replied Shiori.

"That's not far from here." said Kirishima.

"Yeah, but if they moved, that means something happened." said Shiori. "We have to run."

---

A short train ride later, the group arrived at the location indicated by the tracker.

But what they saw when they arrived was absolutely horrifying.

Hiding behind a wall, they watched as a man in a suit stood surrounded by fallen heroes. And not just any heroes, some of the best heroes in Japan.

"What the-" said Iida, shaking.

"Who- who is that?" Shiori asked.

They also saw Bakugo. He was standing amongst the villains who attacked the camp, and he looked just as terrified as his friends were in that moment.

"What do we do?!" whispered Kirshima, voice shrouded in fear.

"We can't do anything against a person who can take all of those heroes down!" replied Todoroki.

The five of them stood in place for a few minutes, hiding behind a wall, frozen with fear.

Shiori wanted to cry of frustration. Bakugo was just a few feet away, but there was nothing she could do.

But suddenly, a voice boomed from the sky.

"YOU! YOU WILL HAVE TO RETURN EVERYTHING, ALL FOR ONE!"

"All Might!" whispered Midoriya.

The impact of All Might's attack sent a gush of wind through the area.

Shiori looked over through the cracks in the wall, and noticed that while All Might was distracted fighting All For One, the villains were trying to escape with Bakugo trough the Warp Gate.

"All Might can't fight properly because he is worried about Bakugo." said Todoroki, as he watched the number once hero get attacked every time he attempted to move towards Bakugo.

"The villains are going to escape with him if we don't do something." said Midoriya. "He can't fight six of them by himself."

"We are not joining the fight!" said Iida. "I told you I would stop you if things went too far."

"We need to get Katsuki out of there without engaging." Shiori said, nervously.

Midoriya's eyes suddenly widened. "Everyone!" he said. "There's a way! A way that won't involve fighting and that will let us leave this place, but still save Kacchan!"

"Let's hear it." said Todoroki.

"But this plan also depends on Kacchan..." continued Midoriya. "I don't think my plan will succeed if I do it. That's why is has to be you, Shiori."

Shiori blinked, confused.

"Give us more details, Midoriya." said Todoroki.

"Right. This is my plan."

---

While All Might fought All For One, the five friends put their plan to action.

Iida and Midoriya propped themselves against the back wall of the alley, holding Kirishima up.

Shiori was propped over Kirishima's back, holding on to his torso.

Using Midoriya's Full Cowling and Iida's boots, they shot out from behind concrete wall they were hiding behind, which was possible because of Kirishima's hardening.

Meanwhile, Todoroki created a path of ice for them to fly over, so they could cross the battlefield at a height the villains couldn't reach.

The next part was up to Shiori.

"This won't work if I do it, Shiori-chan." said Midoriya, when he explained the plan. "You're the only one who can call to him."

As they flew over the battle field, Shiori extended her hand down, as her eyes met Bakugo's.

"Come!" she shouted.

Instantly, Bakugo unleashed his explosion Quirk to propel himself up, gabbing onto Shiori's hand.

"Are you stupid or something?" he asked, looking at her. But despite his words, he has a smile on his face.

While all eyes were on them, Todoroki also took the opportunity to run without being noticed.

---

After they landed, Shiori, Bakugo, Midoriya, Iida and Kirishima met with Todoroki in front of the central station. They blended in with the crowd, to avoid being noticed by anyone.

Once Shiori's head stopped spinning from the adrenaline, she took a second to look at Bakugo. She was so glad to see that he looked unharmed.

When he noticed her staring, he clicked his tongue and snapped at her:

"What's your damn problem?"

But instead of replying, she just stepped forwards and hugged him.

"What the--" Katsuki was completely stiff.

Yet, Shiori just held on to him tightly, as if he would suddenly vanish at any second.

"You stupid moron." she whispered. "I'm so glad you're okay."

She then moved away and looked up to see him blushing for a second.

"Listen!" Bakugo said, looking away to hide his embarrassment. "You didn't rescue me, okay? You all just happened to be the best escape route."

"Yeah, Katsuki, we know." Shiori rolled her eyes.

"I didn't want to get in All Might's way."

"Yeah, you made the right choice." said Kirishima.

Suddenly, the TV above the station began to display breaking news. Helicopters were fighting above the battle between All Might and All For One, capturing it all on video.

They watched as the number one hero struggled to fight the villain, until suddenly, All Might shrunk into a skinny, sickly version of himself.

"What happened?!" asked Kirishima, confused.

"Did All Might just... deflate?" asked Shiori.

Midoriya watched on, looking terrified.

The crowd of onlookers was beginning to worry.

"If he can't win, who can?" wondered a man.

"Even if he looks different, All Might is still All Might, right?" asked another.

"All Might has always been able to save us!" screamed a woman. "Don't lose, All Might! You can do this!"

The crowd then began to chant, in unison. "You can do it! You can do it! You can do it!"

Bakugo and Midoriya then joined them, screaming: "WIN, ALL MIGHT!"

Shiori looked over at them and remembered the times when they were kids. Those two only ever had one thing in common: their admiration for All Might.

Now, they stood side-by-side, eyes filled with tears, cheering their hero on.

And it was as if the number one hero could hear their cries, because he suddenly began to return to his muscly state.

Shiori's smile of hope didn't last long, though, because All For One also had a trick up his sleeve.

The villain's arm began to grow into a multi-Quirk mutant that looked like it could blow up a planet.

He then charged and attacked, meeting All Might's fist head on.

The crowd watched as the hero's arm folded and shattered like paper, sending blood flying everywhere.

And yet, somehow, he continued. Using his other arm, he punched All for One's face.

Then, in a split second before the villain could recover, All Might leaned back as if he was gathering every once of power within himself.

With one final blow, he shouted "UNITED STATES OF SMASH!"

The entire battlefield was destroyed with the power of his attack, and when the dust settled, they revealed an unconscious All For One.

With his last once of strength, All Might lifted his arm up and gave the camera's a thumbs up.

"The villain has stopped moving!" said the news reporter. "Victory for All Might!"

Shiori felt herself fall to her knees and cry, as emotions of pride and relief flooded out of her.

---

Two days later, it was announced that All Might had permanently retired.

After the rescue mission, Shiori and the others took Bakugo to the police station, and she hadn't heard from him since. She ultimately decided not to bother him until he decided to reach out, since he probably needed time to deal with everything that had happened.

In reality, she was just nervous. When they fought, Katsuki told her to stay away from him. He has never said that before, so she felt like she should keep her distance.

Shiori was now laying in bed, listening to music, when her mom opened the door.

"Hey sweetheart, you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm alright." Shiori said, sitting up.

"I was just on the phone with Mitsuki, to ask her how Katsuki is doing. Have you talked to him since he returned home?"

"No, I haven't actually. He's been quiet ever since, and I figured I should let him be."

"Alright, well, maybe you want to stop by and say hello when you have some time?" Aya said, leaning on the door frame. "His mom is worried since he hasn't left his room since he got back. And not like he usually does - Mistuki said something is different this time."

"I- Yeah, I will." Shiori frowned, pensively. She suddenly felt guilty for letting him have his space - maybe that was the last thing he needed right now.

---

After dinner, Shiori put on a jacket and left her house. She didn't bother texting Katsuki to let him know she was coming, because she knew he just wouldn't respond.

She knocked on the door of the Bakugo residence, and Masaru Bakugo opened the door.

"Oh, hello Shiori. Nice to see you back here!"

"Hi Mr. Bakugo. I came to see Katsuki, is it okay if I come in?"

Before the man could respond, Mitsuki popped her head to look at the door from the living room.

"Shiori, dear! You're here!" she said. "Please, come in!"

Shiori walked in smiling and removed her shoes.

"I'm so glad you're here." continued Mistuki. "I don't know what to do about Katsuki, he's been worse than usual."

"I- I didn't know, I'm sorry."

"No, please, I know he must be have been difficult to reach. He's upstairs, if you want to go up!"

"Yes, I will. Thank you!"

Shiori arrived at Katsuki's bedroom door, and she took a deep breath before knocking. She was never nervous to see him, but since she told 4 people she loved him, it felt like a big deal.

"Katsuki." she knocked. "It's me. Can I come in?"

A few moments of silence followed, and Shiori was beginning to worry, when the door suddenly swung open.

Bakugo was waring shorts and a black shirt, and he had dark bags under his eyes, making it obvious he hadn't slept well.

"Hey." Shiori said, smiling softly. "I hope it's okay that I came."

"Since when do you care about my permission, Stitch?" he asked.

The fact that he called her by her nickname made her instantly relax. It was just Bakugo - the same Bakugo he always was. The same one she always loved.

Shiori smiled and walked into the room. She sat on his desk chair and looked up at him.

"I was going to leave you be because I didn't think you wanted to talk to me, but your mom is worried about you." she said.

"That hag is always going on about something." he said,
