Leah

"So, either one of you want to tell me why I was kidnapped?" I asked the two handsome guys sitting in front of me as my eyes shifted between them curiously. I picked a fry off my plate and took a bite.

"Isn't it obvious?" Ian questioned as he took a sip of Coke from his glass and rested his back against the booth. I narrowed my eyes towards him. I absolutely hate it when someone answers a question with another question.

After our successful escape from a furious Jace, we were all starving from our adventure and decided to stop a one of the local diners in the area. The guys said to order anything I wanted that it was their treat. Hey, who am I to pass up a free meal. So, of course I ordered a burger with fries, a milkshake and dessert and maybe another burger, but I'll take that one to go.

Okay, don't judge.

After that workout I need to to refuel.

"No, not really." I answered popping a few more of the hot fries into my mouth. I've never once spoke to Ian or Luke in the eighteen years of my life, so the fact that the two are sitting in front of me is just odd as odd can be.

"We just want to hang out with you." Luke spoke up stirring the straw in his drink slowly. "You ditched us the last time, not cool, by the way."

"But why?" I questioned again. "I didn't ditch you, that something you will have to take up with your friend." I told them referring to Jace.

Ian took a fry off his plate and flicked it at my forehead causing a grease stain to be left behind. I cut him a deadly glare and took a napkin to wipe it off. "Because you are the first girl Jace as ever consistently spoken to for more than a week. You know his reputation with girls. There has to be something special about you and we're here to find out how you were able to keep him locked down."

Locked down? They made it sound like I had Jace locked away in a cage. Which is not a bad thing for the female population.

"And we all know those are just a one night stands." Luke added.

I scrunched my face in disgust at the thought of Jace's conquests. " You guys aren't any better." Jace may be a pro at playing the field, but so were his best friends. "It's honestly not what you guys think."

Crumpling the napkin I tossed it at Ian's head, small payback for the fry. In return it caused a smirk to fill his lips.

"But I do think it's cute that you guys are looking out for your best friend." I cooed causing the boys to now scrunch their faces in disgust.

"We are not doing that." Luke said.

"We are not 'cute'." Ian said at the same time.

I couldn't help but laugh at their protest. "Then how would you describe yourselves?"

"Hot." Luke spoke up.

"Sexy." Ian added.

"Mind blowing." Luke said sending a wink my way. I choked on the sip of the milkshake I had in my mouth as I hold in my laughter. Wow.

"You boys are really full of yourselves, aren't you?" I asked and they just shrugged their shoulders.

"I would like to say we're confident." Ian answered. "Some people find that intimidating. Others find it attractive."

"Confidence is great to have, but some might think you all are cocky." I told them as I took another sip of my milkshake.

Their gazes looked curiously at me. "And do you think we're cocky?" It was Luke who asked.

I studied the two guys in front of me. "I don't feed into the rumor mill, so I guess I have to form my own opinion after today, right?"

Smiles grace their handsome faces. How can they be that good looking?

I having one meal wouldn't hurt after all.

We sat in the diner for what I assume was hours talking, laughing, joking around and telling stories. Luke was currently telling a story about a very young Jace and Ian. The story included how Jace bet Ian his dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets if Ian went up to the girl in his class that he had a crush on at the time and tug on her ponytail and squish her cheeks. A little cliché, but what do you expect from seven year old.  He did and the girl ended up pantsing Ian in front of the whole class showing his dinosaur underwear.

"You're kidding!" I squeezed out between my laughter.

Luke shook his head as he was also dying from laughter. "No way! Ian turned so red I thought he was going to explode like a volcano. He didn't come to school for one week after that."

Ian had his arms crossed over his chest with a pout on his lips as he sunk further down in his seat. "I really wanted those nuggets." He muttered in defeat.

"Do you still have those dinosaur undies? I teased.

A devious smile landed on his lips. "I can show you if you want. Just don't tell Jace."

I took a handful of cold fries and toss it at his face. He caught three in his mouth.

"Score!" He cheered and I just shook my head at him.

I'm not going to lie, these guys don't seem as bad as I thought they were. In school, the trio is know as cold, heartbreaking bad boys. But it turns out that they're just sweet and funny guys who love to flirt by the way, well two out of the three at least.

Leaving the diner after spending hours in there, we headed to the car. As we exited the diner, I glanced up to the sky to see it filled with hues of orange, yellow and red signaling the sun setting. I always love a beautiful sunset.

"Wanna do something you've never done before?" Ian asked as he entered the driver's seat and started the car.

I shrugged my shoulders. "This whole day is filled with things I've never done before."

"But this is something I'm sure you haven't done before." Luke added turning around for the passenger seat to face me. "Expanding your horizons."

"I've expand my horizons" I snapped as I sat back into my seat.

"Easy, tiger." Ian sooth as he pulled onto the main road heading to the downtown area. Why are we going downtown?

Luke turned back to face me from his seat once more. "Because you're all good and innocent. I wouldn't be surprised if you never snuck out of your house."

Damn him.

"Whatever." I muttered slumping back in my seat.

"Aww, don't be mad. I'll buy you those chocolate chip cookies you like so much from your favorite bakery." Luke offered with a smile.

I perked up at the sound of that. I should have never told them my weakness.

"You really know the way to a girl's heart, huh?" I told him.

"Always." He said with a wink before turning back.

"So, where are we going?" I asked as we passed through the downtown area. At this point the sun had set and it completely dark outside with hues of the street lights and lights from other buildings around.

"Somewhere." Ian answered vaguely making a turn down a street.

"As long as I don't end up in a random garbage can."

"Really, Lee? Do you think we would actually do that?" Luke asked incredulously and I shook my head.

"Not you Luke, maybe Ian." I said patting his shoulder softly.

"Hey! What's that suppose to mean?" Ian asked defensively as he took a glance at me through the rearview mirror.

"Nothing." I fiend innocence.

"You're so lucky I'm driving." He muttered before turning his attention back to the road.

"That's exactly what mean." I muttered causing Luke to laugh and Ian to grunt in disapproval.

A few minutes later we pulled up to an abandoned warehouse and Ian put the car in park. "We're here." Ian announced

"What's here? This scary building?" I pointed outside the window. No way was I going in there. Absolutely not!

"Come on, you'll see." Ian said as he and Luke exited the car.

It was either go into the dark scary building with these two who could possibly protect me or stay in the car alone with not a soul in sight. I'll take the first option.

I exited the car cautiously as Ian picked up a backpack from the trunk of the car.

"We're not going to kill someone are we? Cause I think I forgot the oven on at home." I didn't have the guts for this! I turning around to bolt in the other direction only to meet the hard chest of Luke who gave a warm smile.

Damn. There goes that plan.

"Just trust us." Ian said walking towards the building with the backpack slung over his shoulder.

I looked up at Luke giving him my best puppy dog eyes, pleading with him not to make me go in.

"Nice try, Leah. As cute as you are those are, they are not gonna work this time." He said as he spun me around and pushed me toward the building. As much as I tried to dig my heels into the ground, it was a failure. Luke was too strong for his own good.

As we entered, I wrapped my arms around myself as it was cold in this dark concrete building but it also gave me a sense of protection. "What are we doing here?"

"Has anyone ever told you that you ask too many questions?" Ian asked. I had to squint to see him as it was dark in this building.

"Maybe." I muttered.

"Wait for it." Luke whispered close to my ear and not even a second later the lights of the warehouse flickered on.  And right in front of me was a huge wall covered with graffiti art. Honestly, I would just call it Art.

I glanced around the room we were in and saw the same art all over the other walls. It was filled with all different kinds of graffiti, wording, drawings, and more. But the one in front of me was the most fascinating. It was an outline of the city at night with its sky rise buildings, illuminating lights, and midnight sky. It was beautiful, but only half done.

"Wow." I breathe out over taken by the sight in front of me. "It's beautiful."

"Glad you like it." Ian said with a small smile on his lips as he opened up the backpack and took out the different color spray paint cans. "Wanna help finish it?" He offered.

"Can I?" I asked, shocked that they would even let me touch this masterpiece. I was afraid that if I made one mistake it would ruin it.

"Of course." He handed me a spray can and I grabbed it hesitantly. Please don't let me ruin this.  "Help me finish the outline of the buildings"

I nodded and walked up to the wall and followed his smooth movement of spray painting. After outlining a few buildings I turned back to face Luke.

"Not gonna help?" I asked as I see him lounging on the floor with his phone in his hands.

"Nope, this more of an Ian and Jace thing then mine." He said not looking up from his phone. "I'm just here for moral support." He raised a fist in the air as a cheer.

"Jace?" I asked confused. No way he has an artistic bone in his body. "He does this too?"

"Most the pieces you see here are Jace's. I guess you can say he is a bit of an artist. Even the one you're helping with is his." Ian added with his focus still on wall.

No freaking way.

Wow, I didn't know Jace actually has an artistic bone in his body. I didn't know he had other bones then the one he uses on other girls.

I decided to take a break and walk around to get a closer look at the artwork on the walls and one particular piece caught my eye. It was one of what looked like a monster ripping through something. At first it looked like the monster was trying to rip through something but the closer I looked at it, it looked like the monster was trying to rip out of something, almost as if it was shedding its skin to reveal his real form.

Could this piece represent Jace trying to shed the exterior he puts on to show his really self in this piece?

I would have to ask the artist himself.

"So this is were you all disappeared to?" A deep familiar voice boomed through the building causing a cold chill to run down my back.

Oh shit.

I turned around to meet a calm Jace standing by the entrance his demeanor was screaming dominance and calmness, which was odd. Why isn't he fuming mad?

"Leah." Ian said catching my attention. "Run."

Before I could think twice Ian sprinted in the opposite direction of Jace , Luke who had jumped to his feet ran toward the back of the building. Without another thought I ran toward the direction Luke headed towards. The back of the build has an exited I'm sure and I was right. I sprinted towards the open door, my feet pounding the concrete floor.

Almost there.

Freedom, I can taste it.

Just as I was about to leap out the door, a strong hand grabbed my arm and pulled me back in. I collided with a hard chest. I looked up to meet the hazel eyes of my perpetrator.

"Didn't think I would let you go twice in one day, did you?" Jace said a devious smile played on his lips.

Shit, no escaping this one.

Damn you, Luke and Ian!
