You've been warned...

"Wake up." Donovan said coldly as he dumped a bucket of water on her. Muriel gasps loudly as the cold liquid had woken her up. The older woman slowly looks up at Donovan. Her shocked expression turns into a cold one.

"You..." She spat. "I'm back." He smirked. "You little fucker. Why don't you just do the job and kill me already?" Muriel glared at him. "What's the rush?" Donovan chuckled.

"Before I kill you for good, I have a few questions I want to ask you." He spoke calmly. "Depends what type of questions you're going to be asking me." Muriel answered. Her glare amuses Donovan even more.

"I want to know about Y/N's past." Donovan pulled a cigarette from the box. "Why can't you ask her yourself?" She hissed at the male. Donovan rolled his eyes, only to sigh in annoyance. "I doubt she'll tell me a word about it, that's why." Donovan responded coldly.

The tall man lit the cigarette, taking a drag from it. "It wouldn't hurt to ask you know..." She growled while pulling on the restraints. Donovan ignored her comment. "Well start talking hag." He demanded strictly. Muriel remained quiet while glaring at Donovan with full hatred.

Her nasty glare turned into a smug look. "You're wasting your time. Y/N has never once opened up about her past." Donovan takes another drag from the cigarette, not believing her response. "Is that so?" He hummed quietly.

"I'm being serious about it Monroe. Y/N was never comfortable to speak a word of it. All she said to me was witnessing the death of her parents and her kidnapping. That's it. When I would ask her about it, she would dodge my question. Not to mention she was young. She always had a hard time talking about it." The old woman quietly trailed off.

"I'm certain that grandfather of hers, Mickey, knows more than I do. However, I doubt that Winter will even talk. If you want to know every single tiny detail, then ask her about it. If you think about asking Luke or Leon, you'll be wasting your time."

Donovan was puzzled. 'Interesting...' He thought. "So Marshall and West know more than you? Including the old man?" Donovan questions as his curiosity takes over him. "Of course. Y/N, Luke, and Leon were kidnapped victims of Brett Martinez. All three of them were raised in hell...absolute hell, chaos. Those poor kids..." She whimpered.

"That's all I know. I really don't know the rest of their history together." She stopped speaking. "I see..." He muttered before throwing then stepping on the cigarette. Donovan reached into his pocket, pulling out his black leather gloves. Muriel's eyes widen in horror. She instantly knew what was about to happen next.

Muriel shook off the fear and put on a brave face. "Wait...before you kill me, tell me something..." Donovan turned. He looks at her with a bored expression. "What is it?" He questioned, slipping on the gloves. She clenched her jaw, glaring at him.

"What did you do to Lauren?" Muriel demanded. Donovan's bored expression turned into a dark smirk. "Oh...her?" He chuckled darkly. "I killed her." Donovan then said nonchalantly.

Muriel's expression changed into a shocked one. "You...You didn't." She mumbled. Her lips quivering violently. Her body began trembling uncontrollably. Donovan chuckled at her reaction. Her sudden change of tone amused him even more.

"In fact I did. I shot her then pushed her off the balcony. She fell over ten stories to her death." Donovan explained the events that happened that night. Explaining every detail of his mother's death. Muriel was beyond horrified.

"It was quite easy if you ask me..." He glanced at her with his cold clouded eyes. "I should have done the job a long time ago." He scoffed.

"I almost forgot." He reached into his jacket. Don pulled out a folded piece of paper which made Muriel finch. "What...What is it?" Her shaky voice becoming silent. He unfolded the paper. "Do you happen to recognize this man?"

Muriel slowly glanced at the image of the man. Her eyes widen. Studying and looking at the male's features. 'He looks just like him...It can't possible though...' She silently thought. "I don't know who that man is." She answered.

"Enough with the lies." Donovan clenched his jaw. That made Muriel's nerves calm down a bit. She began laughing. "What? You show me a picture of a good looking man. I can't admire his looks before I go?" She continued laughing. "It caught me off guard Monroe." She confessed, annoying Donovan.

He puts the folded piece of paper back into his pocket. Muriel stopped laughing once she saw Donovan pull his gun out. He was serious now. Muriel glared. "You know she'll never forgive you for this Monroe."

"I'm not expecting for her forgiveness. I already have all of this planned out. You'll end up with a bullet in your head, get rid of your body, and make up some bullshit story of your sudden 'disappearance' and move on." Donovan smirked.

"My men already got rid of your things so my doll won't suspect a thing." She began trembling again. Oh how she wanted him dead. "Anything else you want to say?" He asked in a mocking manner.

"Y/N will never love someone like you...a cold, ruthless monster." Her voice laced with venom. Donovan glared. He have had enough. "Yes she will. Whether she likes it or not. She will be mine Hollis." He points the gun directly to her forehead.

" I'll see you and your father in hell..."

BANG!

Muriel's body went limp. He stares with a dark yet blank expression that can frighten any living soul. A sudden thought came across his mind.

Donovan stepped out the abandoned warehouse. Walking towards his car, he pops open the trunk. Gallons of gasoline displayed in his trunk. His blank expression turning into a devilish smirk. 'This isn't perfect...' he wondered.

'But it will do...'
.................................................................

The next day...

Tap, tap, tap.

You flutter your eyes open to see none other than Theo lightly tapping your cheek. He looked annoyed yet irritated. "Finally, you're awake..." Theo sighed. "Jeez, good morning to you too..." You sarcastically responded.

"C'mon kid, get up." "No." You quickly reply. You face away from the sunlight hitting your face. Theo's eye twitched as you hide your face in between your pillows. Out of nowhere, you flinch at a sudden pain in your neck.

The memories from last night began appearing in your mind. 'That motherfucker...When I see that bastard, I'll slap the soul out of him.' You thought, promising yourself once you see him.

"Y/N...Get up." He demanded. His tone sounding deadlier by the second. You ignored Theo and shut your eyes. You didn't bother listening to him. "Fine." He mumbled quietly, leaving the room. Sighing in relief, you try getting comfortable until you heard heavy footsteps approaching you. You yawn.

"What the hell do you want? I'm trying to-" A loud gasp escapes your lips. Theo had filled a cup with cold water, dumping the liquid directly to your face. "You son of a bitch." Glaring, in return, he smirked back at you.

Your eyes widen as your whole body is suddenly dragged out of bed. Theo lets go of your ankle. "It's time to get up kid." He chuckles then walks away. He paused last second at the door.

"Oh and the boss wants to speak to us. Get up and get ready." He informs. "Great, just what I wanted to do today." Sarcasm laced in your voice.

"Listen if you get up now and be ready in fifteen minutes, I'll buy you breakfast." He offered.

You couldn't help but smile and nod excitedly at him.

"Deal!"
................................................................

"Where's Jen and Eden?" You ask Theo as you brush your hair. "Eden took Jen to her mother's place. I'm not sure if he's going to stay with her but they won't be back for a while. After all, Jen was still shaken up about last night." You nod at his reply. You felt horrible for Jen. She didn't deserve any of that.

"When did they leave?" You curiously ask. "An hour before you woke up." He pulled a cigarette from the box. Just as he was about the light it, you immediately throw your hairbrush right at him. He catches the hairbrush easily. "The hell is your problem?" He glared.

"Listen, I have no problem with you smoking, but you do that shit outside!" You strictly demanded. Theo rolled his eyes. He walks out the living room into the balcony. You shook your head in annoyance.

'Jackass...'
.................................................................

"Where the hell do you think you're going?" You froze at the sound of Theo's voice. He had caught you trying to leave the apartment. "I'm going to check if I got anything in the mail." Quickly making up an excuse. Theo remained silent. His eyebrow raised.

"Who the fuck would be mailing you shit?" His cold sentence had offended you. 'Well damn bitch.' Sighing in defeat. "Stop with the lies, you're no good at it. I know where you're actually going kid." Your eye twitched. 'Call me kid one more time...' You thought dangerously.

"I can't allow you to do so. The boss instructed me not to let you go anywhere out of my sight." Theo explained. "I don't care what the boss says. He's not here to say anything and you know better than to snitch on my ass." You crossed your arms.

"Will you just listen for once?" Theo sighed, running his hand through his hair. "No." You instantly reply. Theo becomes more irated than before. "Are you done?" He asked, clearly annoyed by your childish behavior. "Yeah so I'll back in a bit."

Just as you were about to take your exit. Theo grabs your arm. His hold preventing you to move. "What?!" You shouted. "You're not going anywhere on my watch." He began dragging you out of the apartment.

"Let go of me! I'm sick of your shit!" You continuing to shout and squirm in his grasp.

"So am I." He snapped back.
..................................................

The car ride was completely silent. 'Well this is awkward...' You both thought silently. Tilting your head to the side, you rest it on the window as you watch the buildings go by. Theo glances to your side. A sudden thought popped in his head.

Theo reaches towards the radio and turns it on. Glancing at the radio, you watch as Theo turned the volume up. You ignored it and continued watching the buildings go by. You didn't bother paying attention to what the radio host was talking about.

Until...

Is this the real llife?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide
No escape from reality

Listening to the lyrics made you freeze on the spot. It sent shivers down your spine. Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. One of your favorite songs from your childhood.

Open your eyes
Look up to the sky and see
I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy

Because I'm easy come, easy go
Little high, little low
Anyway the wind blows doesn't really matter to me
To me

The sound of the piano plays. Theo began humming along with the song. Childhood memories started flooding your mind. You remember your mother hum and sing along to this song.

Mama, just killed a man
Put a gun against his head
Pull my trigger now he's dead.

Mama, life has just begun
But now I've gone and thrown it all away

Theo glances over to you again.  Your attention was now towards the radio. He began to chuckle lightly at the change of your behavior.

Mama, ooh

Didn't mean to make you cry
If I'm not back again, this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters

"You...You also listen to Queen?" You ask which he nodded. "Of course. I've been listening to their music ever since I was a kid. It calms my nerves whenever I listen to them." You nod.

"Besides, who doesn't love Queen?" You nodded once again in agreement.

Too late, my time has come
Send Shivers down my spine
Body's aching all the time
Goodbye everybody, I've got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth

You began humming along with Theo. The awkward silence now gone. You then sway along with the song.

Mama, ooh I don't wanna die
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all

"My mother would constantly sing songs from Queen." Theo said calmly. 'Odd.' You froze. You brushed the thought off. 'It could just be a strange coincidence.'

"She would sing to my father and I. Oh...and her unborn child." He muttered out the last part. A small smile displayed on his face. You couldn't help but smile as well. Now that you think of it, you've never seen him smile. "Thats...sweet." he nodded in agreement.

I see a little silhouette of a man
Scaramouch, Scaramouch, will you do the Fandango!
Thunderbolt and lightening
Very, very frightening

Galileo, Galileo
Galileo, Galileo
Galileo, Figaro- magnifico

Im just a poor boy nobody loves me
He's just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

Easy come, easy go, will you let me go?
Bismillah! No, we will not let you go

(Let him go!)
Bismillah! We will not let you go
(Let him go!)
Bismillah! We will not let you go

'Fuck it.' You didn't hesitate to sing along. Theo chuckles, deciding to sing along as well not just as loud as you.

(Let me go) will not let you go
(Let me go) will no let you go
(Let me go) (Never) Never let you go
(Let me go)
Oh, oh, oh, oh
No, no, no, no, no, no, no

Oh mama mia, mama mia, mama mia let me go
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for mee

Not caring, you began rocking your head with the music. You turn over to see Theo holding in his laughter.

"Well don't just watch and laugh at me, join me!" You shouted at him then playfully smacking his shoulder. He rolls his eyes. "Okay weirdo." Completely ignoring what he said, you see him lightly rocking his head along, not just as aggressive as you. You continue singing with Freddie.

So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye?
So you think you can love me and leave me to die?
Oh baby, can't do this to me baby
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right out of here

The music had slowed down a bit. The sound of the piano playing once again. You stopped then started swaying along.

Nothing really matters
Anyone can see
Nothing really matter,
Nothing really matters to me

Anyway the wind blows

"Don't tell the others about this." You playfully warn him. He shook his head, chuckling. "Can't make any promises on that kid."

"..."

'Can't make any promises kid.' That sentence repeated over and over in your head. 'Why does that so familiar?' Your mind began wondering. Memories slowly appearing but sadly it's still a blur.

Your thoughts were interupted as the car came to a complete stop. Looking out the window was an old fashioned diner.

"Well what perfect timing, we're here."
.................................................................

Donovan sits in his office chair, sitting impatiently. His foot tapping the ground constantly. Running his hand through his hair, he looks over to his phone then the paperwork scattered all over his desk. Donovan sighed.

Angel looks up at Donovan, scoffing. "You've been looking at your phone ever since we got here. Why don't you give the girl a call? Do you not trust the trio with her?" James asked. "Not to mention you're not getting any shit done." Angel added to the conversation while sharpening his knife.

"She's not with the trio at the moment. Jen left to her mother's place. Eden left with her and Theo stayed with Y/N."

"So?" James questioned. "I've been suspicious of Theo's behavior towards Y/N." Donovan groans. The annoyance clearly showing. "Besides, I doubt she'll pick up the phone."

"Yeah, you're probably right." James carelessly responded. Donovan glared but brushes it off. "You've been suspicious?" Lorenzo asked.

Donovan nodded. "Ever since I took Y/N in the clan. He's been getting way too close to Y/N. There are times where I catch him glaring at those who speak with my doll including myself." He points out to the other three males.

"So...you're jealous?" James stated. Donovan ignored James. Angel was a bit skeptical about the whole thing but decided to remain silent.

"Just speak to Theo. Letting your jealousy get in the way will only make you look weak. It can ruin your reputation and your status. You'll become a target around Scarlet. You know the clans around here won't hesitate to target you immediately." Lorenzo pointed out.

"I know. I won't allow it to happen."
