Every morning my dad is on this bullshit. Like nigga, its the first day of my senior year. If I wanna be late I can be late. Hell what's a few hours, shit.

Waking me up at five thirty am for what. This is why I wish I knew my mom's. I'm sure she would understand. She died giving birth to me, needless to say I'm glad I don't have siblings.

I went to the kitchen to find something to eat before I shower and start getting ready for school which starts at eight.

"Aye dad I'm so speechless how we got all this money and yet we never have no food to eat!" I smiled at him

"Well because your skinny self eats everything insight, and so does your little friends" he shot back

"Father I am so hocked by your behavior this morning, as a child in your care I demand food to eat"

"Kailin, I'm going to knock them braces and tattoos off your body if you keep talking" he drunk his coffee

"Gosh dad you don't have to be so aggressive, to your favorite child" I hugged him

"Your the favorite because you are the only one kailin, now get something and get ready"  he got up

"Okay, I was thinking about finally giving me another car" I poured me some cereal and milk

"Kailin, you crash two cars last year no I will not get you another car" he walked out the kitchen

"Jerk ass" I ate my food

"And don't get no more got damn tattoos this year" he yelled

"And don't get no more tattoos blah blah blah" I repeat

"I swear I'm going to send you to your grandma in Atlanta" he yelled

"Anything but her dad I'm sorry" I went upstairs laughing

I ran my shower water, and tied my faux dreads up in a nice bun. I went to my walk in closet and found my Fila shirt and sweats.

I brushed my teeth, washed my face. I stood in the mirror thinking I don't even know what my dad does for a living. Like how we so rich, all I know is half the year he is gone on business trips. I'm usually here myself, me and my best friends Gypsy and Nina

Yes her name is really Gypsy her parents are fucking weirdos.

But I love me some Gypsy, she I bomb as fuck. Nina is pretty cool too.

I finally stepped into the shower, to wash my body up. Something about a shower early in the morning that makes me feel better.

I finally got out the shower, dried off put my make up on. Yup I said make up, sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. Either way zaddy is fione.

"I'm my biggest fan" I said as I put on my shoes

"KAILIN IT SEVEN TWENTY SIX, LETS GO" my dad yelled from the stairs

"Okay, Zeus" I laughed

"I swear little girl" he was rubbing his temples as I came down the stairs

Me - y'all if I don't make it to school, just know my dad killed me

I had to let someone know.

Nina - Kai you know your dad would die with out your annoying self

Gy - she's right, Kai, maybe if you leave him alone 😁😁😁😁

"Dad come on" I said

"Listen to me this year will be some changes with you and your attitude" he said as the driver pulled up to the school

" Dad I know....." He interrupted me

"No you don't. I will be gone even more this year. I don't mean to be but you have to eat. I don't need you getting kicked out, fighting, partying, or drinking when you shouldn't be" he said handing me my phone

"I promise"

"I don't trust you. In a few days my old friend his daughter will be moving in, to make sure you stay on track, and cut all that bullshit out"

"A live in babysitter, I don't need that I'll be 18 in five months dad, come on" I pleaded

"No, you had your chance last year" he stated

"Fine, it's your house and your rules" I said getting out

"There are alot more rules, to come I'm not joking with you" he said as I closed the door

A babysitter, I'm damn near grown. The fuck I need a babysitter for. Ain't my fault he's always fucking gone anyways. He really don't give a shit about me, what parents be gone for about ninety percent of the year anyways.

He don't like how I dress, my hair my tattoos, I'm sure he hates that I like women.

School 7: 56 am

I walk into my first class annoyed as fuck. About this shit with my dad. How he really gone get me a babysitter, that shit is stupid as hell.

"Hi, kailin" Asia spoke as I sat down

"Wassup" I smiled

"How was your summer?" She asked

"It was lit as fuck, party's all summer, I did invite you but you never showed" I stated

"Yeah, you and my boyfriend don't necessarily get along" she smiled

"He is the only that believes I want you" I laughed because I don't want her

Don't get me wrong she is very beautiful, but not my type by a long shot, plus she's one of those girls who found out that she's has a pussy and went buck wild. If you get my drift.

"I don't know why he thinks that,. We've been together for two years, and he just hates you" she smiled

"Well, I don't care" i smiled

She kept talking and I wasn't paying attention, I was trying to sleep which didn't work for shit.

Asia and her boyfriend hates me, so I don't get my she keeps talking I invited her to my parties just to piss them off. Knowing they live next door and across the street from me. The louder the better.

Lunch 12:30 pm

I looked all around the cafeteria for Nina and Gypsy and didn't see they ass any where. I got some cheese fries and just went and sat down at my usual table. To day has been really annoying.

"Hey bestie" I looked up from my phone to see Gypsy

"I was looking for yall. Where is Nina?" I asked pulling out my blunt

"She was in the line talking to Mike. You know your ass gone be in big trouble" she said

"Fuck em" I laughed and lit it anyways

"Waddup homie" Mike came over

Mike was cool as hell. He was a tall black ass nigga who played on our basketball team. He had all kinds of bitches wrapped around his finger with his long curly jet black hair and his grey eyes, looking like a all black sexy husky dog.

The only girl he can't get is Nina, she smart.

"Wassup blackberry" I said

"You got jokes, miss I got all the hoes but never had pussy popped" he shot back as I passes him the blunt

"I am highly taken back by your mouth, young man. Just because I am not popping my pussy, does not mean one is incapable of getting theeeeeeeee hoes" I said in my old white lady voice, they all started laughing at me

"You are something else my nigga...shit I'm about to bounce here comes ranger Rick" Mike said and took off

I looked back and the principal is walking right up to me.

"I am glad to see your back, and having fun" he pointed to my blunt

"Oh, hey Mr Jones" I said

"Let's go" he said

"Why?" I asked

"One your smoking pot on campus, which is illegal" he took it out my hand

"I'm sure your father would love to hear this so soon" he said

He is about to be pissed off. I just needed a little bit, shit I was already annoyed because of him in the first damn place. He makes me fucking crazy.

I sat there in the office looking dumb as fuck. Knowing he about to kill me when he picks me up from school.

"Kailin, I'm confused as to why you act out like this" Mr Jones said

"I'm not acting out"

"Your our top honor student, but you smoke weed, your drinking, and your fighting and you miss class" he added

"That was last year" I smiled

"And if you don't straighten up this year, I'm going to have to let Texas know to withdraw you from their scholarship list. You got a full ride"

"I can buy the University, and still pay for it myself I don't care" I replied

"And if we put everything on your academic list half the schools in this country alone wouldn't even think twice about letting you in including Texas"

"Now why you gotta go there?" I sat up

"You are doing this, not me. I still have to tell your Father." I nodded as he made the phone call

I wanted after school for my dad in the courtyard. The car pulled up and the driver got out and let me in. Here we go.

It was so slient when I got in he wasn't even in the car. I was truly suprised.

Home 2:45 pm

I got in the house, and he was in the kitchen filling out some papers, not even paying attention to me at all.

"Hey Dad" I said

"Go to your room" was all he said

He could have yelled or anything but he did nothing. That is what I was really worried Bout. Shit I started my homework, i was scared to even blink.

Sunday Pov

Colorado State Penitentiary 3:30 pm

I stood there putting on my clothes, regular clothes. After four years I am finally out of here. Most of my time was in max anyways, i damn sure isn't missing anything.

In thirty minutes I will be walking out of here and never looking back.

When I first got here, there wasn't shit you could tell me. Everyday I was doing some stupid shit. Three years straight I was in maximum security. But I needed to get out cause my father was sick. I changed within this last year. My father passed during this time, but I still wanted to get out.

I just wanna stay out.

"I'm going to miss you Sunday" officer Brown said handing me my mail, and the money and things I came in with

"Well i hope I never see you again" I smiled

"Same " she joked

"Come on, the buses  should be pulling up anytime" she stated walking me outside

I opened my mail, it was a letter from my pops. Stating how he heard how I was doing better in here, and how his treatments was not going as planned.

Then in another letter was a bus ticket to Texas,  Houston. Who the fuck lives there.

The note with the ticket said that I would be going to live with a man named Zeus and his daughter This nigga named Zeus. What kind of niggas did my pops know.

Well i will have some where to sleep everyday. But the ticket wasn't until in the morning at one am. It also had a phone in the bag  of things.

"Brown who phone?" I asked showing her the brand new phone

"Yours we was asked to hold it this morning. Take care now Sunday, i dont want to see you" she walked back in

I checked my pocket, and the money that I had gotten back was 200 dollars. I guess I can get a room for tonight.

I grabbed my bag and hopped on the bus. They asked where I was going and i said just the nearest  hotel.  I took the phone out its box. It was a galaxy note 8 it said. I don't even need this shit. I put it back in the box and in my bag.

Random Hotel 5:00 pm

I walked into the hotel lobby, just knowing they about to be expensive  as shit. Especially with this white lady. 

"Hello, how can i help you" she sounded so fucking snooty

I could have just banged.......Sunni you just got out of prison for attempted murder

"I would like a room, only until one am" I stated

"Our regular room rates are 426" she smiled

"That's nice, how much for only until one am?"

"We don't do that, you would have to pay for the whole night" she grinned

"Look lady" I dropped my duffle bag on the ground

"I was just released from the prison, up the road, i just wanna fucking shower, and a get a couple hours of sleep, before I catch the fucking bus or another fucking case. You pick, cause either way I'm going to shower and sleep" I stared at her

"200 is fine with me" she smiled

As soon as I get in the room watch this bitch call the fucking cops on my ass.  Fuck

"Here" I sat the money on the counter and i wait for her to give me the room key

She took her sweet as time, also.

After her ugly ass took all day, i finally  made it to the room. I threw my things down, and went straight to shower.

This felt amazing, i washed my hair. I don't even know how long I was even in the damn shower.

I got out and turned the tv on and just laid there for couple of hours. Then that damn phone started ringing.

Ring ring

"Hello?" I picked it up

"Sunday?" A guy asked

"Yeah. Who this?"

"Zeus, the one who you will be staying with. I figured you would have called me by now"

"I haven't even bothered with this phone" I said

"Okay, I'm just making sure your okay. So your ticket is for one am, okay. See you tomorrow" he said hanging up

Yeah, this should be interesting.

I put the phone up and was hungry as fuck. I should  not have gave that lady all my damn money. She lucky I don't go down there and get my shit.

I put my shoes on and went in to the hall.

"Hello" the girl pushing a cart said

"Wassup ma" she was beautiful  but I don't not fuck with white bitches

Not my cup of tea.

She said room service and left the food outside the person's door. I ain't been in prison that fucking long to know that you just don't leave they food out.

So what did I do, i took that shit and went back to my room. They can just call and say they never got they food.

I got in my room and to my surprise it was burger me fries thanks. Okay I ain't gone do nothing else, i need to stay out of prison.

I swear  I'm going to be fucking fat, because prison food ain't shit to fuck with. I'm about to eat all that I can.

I laid there thinking, i just wish I could start over man. I did something some stupid and got my ass locked up. I been trouble all my life, but I guess prison is supposed to better your life right.

I couldn't even sleep, at all, I was tired as hell. But my mind wouldn't let me go to sleep. All I wanted was just a little bit of sleep.

I kinda wish I was able to say good bye to my pops. I hope this friend of his was actually a friend. I also wondered what's in it for him me coming to live with him and his daughter for what. What did my pops promise this nigga.

I closed my eyes, and not a second later I was woke up by the alarm I set on that damn phone.

I put all my things back, and headed out the door. I had no way of getting to the bus stop,so I had to do what I was taught in the Navy. Better march on. I made my way down to the hotel lobby and the lady was still there.

"Here's the key" I sat it on the counter

"Thank you" she said as I walked out

"Here we go" I started walking

The whole way there this damn phone was going off, all kinds of beeping and shit. I wanted to stomp that shit so bad.

I fucking barely made it to the bus station.

Bus Station 1:01 am

"Please, man it's one minute. I need to make it to Houston" I begged the man to let me on

"Your late" he stated

"Man, let this child on. The time you spend talking you could have been let her on" an older lady said

"Ma'am she is ......" The lady slapped him upside his head and he opened the door

"Punk ass" I asked walking past

"Whatever twig" he shot back

"You'll see for the next sixteen hours your mine fat boy" I said and sat down in my seat

This is about to be a long as ride. Sixteen hours, I hope I do get some sleep. I kind of want to just get off the bus. How do I know this isn't some kind of set up. How do I really know this Zeus was cool with my pops like that.

I need to clear my own head, and stop overthinking shit. But damn I can't help it, the Navy and being in prison will fuck a nigga head up.

I closed my eyes, and just laid my head back as the bus started to move.
