"We're spending the weekends with the bad boys!" Was the first thing I hear just as I opened my eyes, Aubree's voice booming into my room.

I turned my head to see Aubree already dressed in a cute, daisy mini dress with her blonde hair straightened and her full face, light makeup done.

"Aubree, I'm still tired," I whined, pulling the blankets over my head.

My mind wondered on how Aubree was still full of energy because last night, she was drunk as hell and needed Marco and I to bring her up to her own room since she couldn't even walk. Xavier had found Luke and I all alone outside the party and decided to join us even though he was quiet the whole time until Carl appeared and said he needed to get home.

"No, go to the bathroom and get ready!" Aubree shouted, pulling the blanket off the whole entire bed and pointed to the bathroom.

I tucked my upper lip behind my bottom one.

She shook her head.

"Fine," I gave in, getting off of my bed lazily and walked to the bathroom.

I did my usual morning routine and walked out of the bathroom after a few minutes as I could see Aubree sitting down on my bed innocently, her leg over the other and both of her hands on her lap.

"What did you do?" I asked, suspiciously.

"Nothing," Aubree answered sweetly. Too sweet.

"Okay, move aside," I ordered as she did as she was told.

My eyes widened at the clothes that were behind her. She had picked out a black cropped singlet and a pair of white short shorts. I shot a glare at her as she only shrugged and crossed her arms with a playful smirk.

"Hell no," I hissed, walking to my closet and threw on a pair of faded ripped shorts and a v-neck t-shirt.

"That could do," Aubree sighed, rolling her eyes as she exited my bedroom and down the stairs.

I tied my hair up into a messy bun, that clearly still looked good, and put on light makeup since it was the weekends and my original plan was to chill at home in my sweatpants, watching Netflix with ice-cream.

"Hi sweetheart!" Anastasia chirped once she saw me walk down the stairs and sat on a stool next to Aubree who was munching on her chocolate chip pancakes.

"Good morning," I replied as Anastasia gave me a huge smile and placed a plate of chocolate chip pancakes in front of me. I looked around, expecting to see a certain someone. "Where's dad?"

"There was an emergency at work but he'll be back soon," Anastasia answered. "Any plans for today, girls?"

"Hanging out with Marco and his boys," Aubree answered with a mouth-full which earned a glare from Anastasia.

"Aubree, I thought I told you Marco and his boys are bad news," Anastasia replied with a sigh as she leaned against the kitchen counter and folded her arms across her chest. "They have been suspended two times and nearly got expelled."

"But they still like you," Aubree pointed out with a cheeky smile.

"Maybe because I'm the mother of Marco's girlfriend," Anastasia frowned then sighed. "Just don't do stupid things, got it?"

Aubree nodded.

"Is Thea joining you?"

Aubree nodded again.

"Well, I'll see you girls later because I've got a meeting," Anastasia announced with a sigh as she picked up one of her handbags and a few binders before kissing Aubree's and I cheeks.

"See you Anastasia."

"Bye mom."

There was a minute of silence as Aubree and I munched on our pancakes. My mind whirled with questions like, is Xavier and his boys that dangerous? Are they even good at school? Do they even come to school?

"It gets lonely here sometimes," Aubree whispered, breaking the silence as she played with her pancakes with her fork.

"Keep going," I insisted, finishing off the last piece of my delicious pancake.

"Mom and dad are always working, even on weekends and so I would spend my lonely times here in this big house all by myself," Aubree sighed. "That is before I met Marco a year ago."

"Did Marco change all of that?" I asked, curiosity consuming me.

"Yes, he is the wild in my life and I loved it and I still do," Aubree answered with a distant look in her eyes as a smile appeared on her face. "He's just everything to me."

A smile tugged on my lips, truly happy that my step-sister has found someone like that and I envied her. I got up and placed my plate in the sink as Aubree did the same a few minutes later.

"I hope you find someone who makes your life so much more interesting," Aubree whispered with a smile, her eyes already telling me who it is. "Someone who makes you happy."

I let out a small smile, letting her believe that I agree.

A horn was honked outside as Aubree's eyes instantly lit up. She grabbed my hand, took my phone and hers that were sitting on the counter and bolted out the house as if she was trying to get the last shoe they had in stock.

"Baby!" Aubree squealed at the sight of Marco getting out the car and opening his arms wide for her whilst she ran and jumped onto him.

Suddenly, I could feel someone's eyes on me as my eyes shifted towards the car windows yet I couldn't see anything since they were tinted.

"Come on Thea, you're in the passenger seat," Marco said as he opened the passenger door for me.

Butterflies erupted in my stomach as I gave him a confused look but he only gave me a wink. I bit my lip and got into the passenger seat as Xavier was staring straight ahead with one arm on the wheel and his eyes, never moving.

God he looked so good.

"Hey Thea!" Carl exclaimed happily, patting me on the shoulder.

"Hi Carl," I replied with a smile, suddenly feeling his eyes on me.

I looked to Xavier and as our eyes met, a tingling sensation shivered through my skin and the butterflies in my stomach went wild.

I cleared my throat and smiled, his eyes widened by just an inch. "Hi Xavier."

Xavier rolled his eyes before he started the and began to back out of the driveway. "Hey."

It was five minutes into the drive until I realised it was very quiet and that the radio was not turned on. I reached out towards the radio as I could feel everyone's eyes on my hand. I turned the radio on and the song Justin Bieber Love Yourself came on. Suddenly, Aubree started singing to it loudly as Xavier rolled his eyes, a smile tugging on my lips.

"Where are we going?" I asked, looking at Xavier.

"We're going to the mall," Xavier answered with a duh look.

We were at the crowded mall in just minutes as Xavier parked his car and Aubree already shooing Marco out of his seat since she was in the middle.

"Okay, so we will meet each other here in two hours," Aubree and Marco announced together as they both looked at each other and winked.

I gave them a confused look.

"I thought we were hanging out together," I pointed out.

"Well, decisions change so..." Aubree paused. "Oh, Carl, we are meeting Luke later so you're coming with us."

Poor Carl, he looked so confused.

"So who do I go with?" I asked, dumbfounded.

Aubree, Marco and Carl shot me a 'are you serious' look as my eyes widened and looked beside me to see Xavier staring somewhere else with his arms crossed over his chest.

I wanted to protest and say something about this plan but unfortunately, the three had already run off when I was looking at Xavier whom, may I might add, didn't look bothered by it at all.

As girls walked past us, they tried to add more hips into their walks and even flipped their hair behind their shoulders, adding a wink to Xavier who only dug his hands inside his pockets and stared straight ahead.

Some girls even gave me dirty looks for standing next to him.

"Umm, I'll meet you with the rest of the group later," I spoke up, breaking the awkward silence as I suddenly walked into Forever 21 without waiting for an answer from him.

I walked into the store quickly and began to walk to the back of the store where a rack of clothes caught my eye as I started rummaging through it until something caught my attention.

A few minutes later, I had gone through nearly all the racks as I entered the changing rooms, the worry of Xavier being alone had already been long gone. I threw on a pair of high waisted black jeans that went up to my belly button and a black crop top. I walked out on instinct, waiting for my mom's squeal to appear but remembered that she wasn't here.

"I like it," a deep, familiar voice spoke up as I turned around and almost had a heart-attack from the familiar figure who was holding a slurpee in one hand and his phone in the other.

I smirked. "Is it because it's all black?"

He lifted his slurpee in the air as if he was about to clink it with an invisible cup. "You already know me so well."

I rolled my eyes and stared into the mirror, turning side to side wondering if I should get it until a black, laced bra attacked my face. My eyes widened as I turned around to see Xavier holding his laugh in with his head down, but evident in his shaking shoulders.

"Xavier!" I exclaimed, throwing the black bra on his head before running back into the change room and slamming the door behind.

I ended up getting a few clothes with Xavier paying it all even though I insisted on paying it myself after the little incident we had in the change rooms. Instead of going to all the clothing stores, Xavier and I ended up sneaking around random stores to put on random costumes after he had convinced me it would be so much fun than shopping.

We had a blast.

Never thought I would say this but I had fun with Xavier who I thought was not capable of showing any emotions.

We had come out from the food court since Xavier's angry stomach was growling at him. Xavier was surprised that I actually ate a burger in front of him and I didn't ask why since I knew the answer already.

"Did you have fun today?" Xavier asked as he held onto his frozen coke and his other hand running through his hair.

"I think you know the answer to that," I answered with a genuine smile as he looked at me with a smirk.

"Xavier Walker with a lady?" a new masculine voice rung out as I only stared at Xavier in confused.

On the other hand, Xavier narrowed his eyes and his face went blank immediately, turning around quickly before a deadly look in his eyes appeared. I followed his movements and came face to face with a man taller than me but shorter than Xavier by an inch or two. His dark black hair combed to the back and his clothes were pretty much black with a leather brown jacket. He also had a friend next to him who was pretty much wearing the same thing as the mysterious person but had blonde hair.

"Derek Dickworth," Xavier pulled me by the arm closer to his side which made my cheeks flush.

"Correction, it's Hemsworth but whatever flows your boat," Derek commented with a playful smirk as his eyes moved towards me.

A shiver was sent down my spine as his eyes roamed around my figure as the smirk widened. Derek crossed his arms over his chest and sighed dramatically. "And, who might you be angel?"

"You're curious because?" I questioned back, feeling Xavier's grip on my arm tighten.

"Oh damn," Derek answered putting his hand over his heart. "This one's a keeper."

"What the fuck do you want?" Xavier spat without hesitation.

"Nothing, just wanted to introduce myself to the beautiful angel," Derek answered innocently, sending me a wink my way in which I returned with a cringe. "I'm surprised you're with a lady Xavier, seeing as this is the first time that someone isn't scared of you."

Xavier was now breathing heavily, his chest heaving in and out as I turned my head towards him and looked up to see his eyes shut. I used my free arm and gently squeezed his arm which had him snap his eyes open in an instant. He stared into my eyes as I could see them softening a bit, his breathing going back to normal as I tilted my head in confusion.

What the hell?

"Leave Dickworth," Xavier snapped, turning his head towards Derek who was watching us emotionlessly.

"I'll be back for the angel," Derek replied after a few seconds of silence, turning around and taking a few steps before looking back at me for a second and shrugged, continuing his walk with his blonde friend.

What the hell?
