What the fuck?

"He has a girlfriend who's the fucking captain of our rival?" Parker whisper shouted into my ear. My fists were curled together and my eyes were frozen on Kaydon.

I don't know why I feel this sudden anger but I just feel like I need somewhat of an explanation. A girlfriend?? Cameron beside us shuffled nervously as Blake and Ty come near.

Cameron panicked and tried to hide behind me but she tripped on a rock and face planted. Great. Everyone turned and looked.

"What are you guys doing here?" I look up and see Holiday narrowing her eyes at us. Kaydon was standing next to her rather awkward and full of tension. Before I could say something, Parker was about to march up to her but Blake grabbed her arm.

She was contemplating on arguing with him but she stared straight at Holiday.

"We were just about to leave when you two decided to have a full on make-out session near our BUS." I helped Cameron up and she brushed the dirt off of her shorts. Her face was flushed and I know she's nervous. Ty was standing in the back not getting involved with the drama. Blake started to try and walk Parker back. "Let's not."

Holiday snorted and started laughing. "Fucking pathetic how you didn't have the nerve to go up to me."

Fight fight!

No fighting!

Blake freezes and Parker raised an eyebrow. Blake was walking slowly next to me in tons of fear as Parker is walking straight to Holiday. Ty ran in and pushed her back but Parker got a shove to Holiday. Kaydon, unfortunately, caught her but her eyes were full of fire to the back of Parker's head.

"Fucking thought you knew better Kaydon!" she yelled as she stands next to me. I can feel her anger rising as she stares at Ty and Kaydon with disappointment. I could see Ty looking back and forth at Parker and Holiday but Kaydon wasn't even showing any emotion whatsoever.

"You bitch!" Holiday shouted while checking her spandex for dirt.

Ohh, shit.

Shit indeed, conscience.

I charge in her direction with full anger and my body calm. Blake tried to grab my arm but I yanked it away. I'm right in front of her face as she just blinks rapidly like she's a fucking robot. I smiled sweetly and stared right back.

Say what you want about my friends, but if you dare to say their a bitch, you won't see the daylight again.

"Call her a bitch one more time," my voice low and clear.

She chuckled and stepped even CLOSER to me.

"Or what?"

She wants to play with fire? She'll get fire.

I shove her against the wall and was about to throw a punch when Kaydon grabbed my arm and walked me back. Ty grabbed on to Sarah and started going back to Blake too. Kaydon sighs and I couldn't believe the guys let that go.

"You're just gonna let her say that to Parker?" my voice raising in level as I stare at him in shock. "Parker is family-"

"Was," he let go of my arm and kept distance between us. "Was family." His eyes were avoiding contact and his hands were fidgeting.

My heart felt like it was being torn into tiny pieces and being shredded up. Was? We were the past for these boys. I get it. We weren't their best friends anymore, we weren't anything but just a small thought in the back of their minds.

"So you think that's still okay for your girlfriend to call my family a bitch," I scoff and stepped closer to the girls. "What the hell happened to you? What the hell happened to the THREE of you?"

The guys stare at us with shame and no words. None of them even stood up for her. For us. Even if we were mad at each other, if one of us gets called something, it's past the line. Ty rubs the back of his neck nervously, Blake was looking at me with sadness and regret in his eyes, and Kaydon only looks down onto the ground avoiding my almost teary eyed vision.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" I say in almost a whisper. My heart couldn't take standing there any longer. I take my things and went in the bus early to wait for the rest of the team who were cleaning up. I can see Parker and Cameron talking to Kaydon for a split second and then joining me.

"Such a douchebag," Cameron sighed. She turned to me and rubbed my left shoulder in concern. "You okay?"

I nodded and stared out the tiny bus window. Tears were flooding my vision and I didn't even know that the tears were already flowing down my cheeks.

"Sierra Ambrose Laurken!" my mom busted through my door and threw a stuff animal at my head.

Great. I slept in my alarm and it was now nearly 11 in the morning. I was suppose to wake up at 9 for my mom's announcement on something exciting but I guess staying up rethinking about what happened yesterday didn't help.

I groan and threw the stuff animal off of my bed.

"Get your ass up before I call Valentina!" my mom yells from downstairs. I basically jump out of bed and headed straight for the bathroom. Valentina is Parker's mom. The scariest mother ALIVE. My mom said that the girls and their moms are coming by for the announcement too. It was only me, Cameron, and Parker that doesn't know.

I brushed my teeth and threw my hair in a high ponytail. I brushed out the wrinkly areas of my Looney Tunes t-shirt and unrolled the hem of my shorts. I grabbed my phone and headed downstairs in the kitchen.

"Finally awake I see," Cameron teases, fixing Parker's necklace. The girls look just as beat up as I am and my mom looked at the three of us.

"At least look presentable," she mumbles.

This is what she'll get for now.

Who dresses up so early in the morning? Not me that's who.

"So Linda, what's the news?" Cameron turns her attention to my mom as the other moms sit down sipping on their coffee. My mom tensed a tiny bit and I see her fiddling with the kitchen cabinet handles.

I look back and forth at my mom and Aunt Tanya trying to figure out what's going on.

I cleared my throat and looked at the moms. "Is everything okay?" I grabbed a mug and filled it with some water on the table where Cameron and Parker were. I sat down and gave them the same confused looks they gave me.

My mom quickly nodded and she grabbed her phone scrolling through it. We waited patiently for an answer as my mind was rambling with thoughts. New neighbors? New school? New people?

My mom turned off her phone and smiled so huge at us I thought her cheeks would hurt. "The boys are moving back!"

The moms looked at us for a reaction but here's what happened.

The sound of three shattering mugs. The look of horror on our faces, and the drop in my stomach was the reaction they got.
