These are thoughts

Mizuki pov.
After it was over, Osamu and Atsumu started fighting, Bokuto was somehow celebrating and in his emo mode at the same time and Akaashi was trying to deal with him. Tendo and I were congratulating others while fooling around with Akakura attempting to calm us down. Yahaba totally ditched us and Kenma looked so done with our team.

I leave the gym with Tendo and Akakura, and I end up following them to their team.

"Nice match, nice match" Tendo hums.

"Yes. Congratulations on third." Ushijima nods to the three of us.

"Congrats on the finals!" I exclaim.

"Thank you...again." He hesitates.

"Mhm" Tendo and I bow dramatically.

"Please stop fooling around." Semi sighs.

"It's fine, just don't do anything stupid." Their vice-captain says.

"Yes, yes of course." Tendo replies.

"I should probably go to my team." I interrupt. "See you guys later!"

"Goodbye Zuki." Ushijima nods.

"I'm gonna beat you next time!" Goshiki exclaims.

"No way I'll let you" I wave and jog away.

I look around, trying to find my team. Then, someone scares me from behind.

"HELLO!" I hear Koganegawa's voice.

"ACK!" I jump forward. "WHAT THE HELL?!"

He waves happily and a boy beside him snickers.

"Scared?" Futakuchi smirks.

"Shut up." I stuck my tongue out.

A hand appears on both of the boys' shoulders. Then Aone nods to me.

"Hello Aone." I greet him.

"Captain, we need you!" One of their teammates calls them.

"Well then, goodbye" Futakuchi says.

Aone simply nods again, and Koganegawa waves.

The three walk away. I continue to to go the team.

"Zuki's here!" I hear Hinata call.

"Finally. Two more to go." Tsukishima mutters. "What took you so long?"

"Hehe sorry. I was with some other teams." I apologize.

I look around. "Where Tanaka and Noya?"

"They're probably fooling around somewhere." Ennoshita sighs.

"We'll catch them up later." Daichi says. "Anyways, now it's free time, and then for dinner, meet at the beach."

"Why?" Hinata and I ask.

"It's a surprise!" Suga exclaims.

"Dammit." I frown.

"You all can go, but if you find the other two, tell them to come to me." Daichi finishes.

"Yes sir!" We all respond.

The team splits up to do whatever we want. I end up walking around aimlessly because I don't know what to do.

"Hey Zuki." Osamu pops up beside me. "We totally beat Tsumu's team, right?"

"I guess?" I reply. "But it was kinda close-"

"SEE!" Atsumu yells out of nowhere. "IT WAS CLOSE!"

"SHE STILL SAID THAT WE DID!" Osamu yells back.

"SHE SAID 'I GUESS'"

They walk towards each other, about to fight, but another boy walks between the two, stopping them.

"Shut up!" Aran stops the twins. "And Suna, stop filming."

"But it was just getting entertaining." He replies. "Again."

AGAIN?!

"Here comes Kita." Suna adds.

"Heyyyyyy captain" Atsumu steps away from his twin.

"Hello Atsumu." Kita replies. "Please don't tell me you were about to fight again."

"Of course not..." Osamu says hesitantly.

Aran sighs and Suna shrugs. Kita looks at me.

"Hello Mizuki. Anything?" He asks.

"Hi, well, uh" I start.

Atsumu and Osamu's eyes were big and they were slightly shaking their heads. Suna shrugs again and Aran raises an eyebrow.

"Weeeeeeell," I start again. "I think I gotta go. Nice seeing you guys."

"HEY WAIT A SEC-" Atsumu yells.

"See you later!" I inch away. Then I turn and jog away.

Then I grin to myself.

Escaped haha...sorry Samu, Tsumu.

"Hey Zuki, wanna join us?" Bokuto calls me.

I see him and his team passing a volleyball to each other, in a circle.

"Sure!" I go over to them.

I stand in between Konoha and Washio and I join them in playing.

We keep playing for a while. I bump the volleyball to Bokuto, who passes it to Komi.

The ball goes to Saruki, but he trips and ends up spiking it.

"Sorry!" He calls.

"I'll get it!" I run backwards to get it.

I jump backwards and hit it to the others. I stumble back and bump into someone.

"Ack-sorry!" I regain balance.

"It's fine." Hanamaki replies.

"Huh." Matsukawa thinks. "It's like a deja vu."

"Oh yaaaaa." I smile and remember.

"Zuki, you still in?" Konoha calls me.

"Can I stay with you guys?" I ask the other two.

"Sure." Matsukawa nods.

"I'm gonna stay with them!" I call back. "See you later!"

They wave, and I wave back as I walk away with Hanamaki and Matsukawa.

"So, whatcha doing?" I ask the two.

"Just walking." Makki shrugs. "A certain someone was a little mad about being beaten in the first round."

"I wonder who that might be." I add.

"Hey! I heard you!" Oikawa complains behind us.

"Shut up Shittykawa." Iwaizumi rolls his eyes.

"At least Kindaichi played in the finals." Watari adds.

"Everything okay with Kags?" I ask.

Kindaichi shrugs. "Not like we're on great terms now but it was fine I guess."

I nod. "And also. Yahaba, why'd you ditch us?! Rude."

He sighs. "You guys were acting stupid."

"I assure you we weren't...maybe acting stupid."

"You and the guy from Shiratorizawa were running around like you were crazy." Kunimi points out.

"Shush." I cross my arms.

"Anyways." Kunimi sighs. "What time is it?"

We look at each other.

"...no one has a watch or something?" I break the silence.

"...Daisuke said to go to the beach while you were talking, idiots." Kyotani says.

"Well then let's go!" Oikawa exclaims as we walks away.

"You should've told us earlier." Yahaba mumbles.

"Shut up. Listen yourself." Kyotani growls.

"Hey hey, let's just go over." Iwaizumi steps in between them.

"Agreed." I say before pushing Kyotani forward.

"What the hell-" He starts.

"C'mon!" I catch up with Oikawa.

As we get closer, I smell something delicious. I beam.

Isn't that-

"Good afternoon! Or maybe evening?" Spencer gets everyone's attention. "Anyways, the coaches and Daisuke have decided that for the last day, they'd treat you to some barbecue! Get a plate and whatever and feel free to dig in!"

We see on the beach were tables with meat, a few veggies and some snacks.

I hear a few people cheer as we all get some food. I put food on my plate, losing Oikawa and his team on the way.

I look around, trying to find somewhere to eat.

"Yo Zuki!" Yamamoto walks over.

"We need your help" Lev pops up.

"Can you distract Kuroo?" Inuoka asks. "He's not letting us get any more meat."

"Can't you get from other tables?" I raise an eyebrow.

"We could, but other teams and staying at them." Lev replies.

I sigh and nod. "Sure. Lead the way."

"YEAHHHHH!" Yamamoto yells.

He gestures us to follow, and we do. They stop somewhere that Kuroo wouldn't see them, so I go over.

"Hey Tetsu" I wave.

"Hey Zuki." He nods. "What's up?"

I shrug. "Just trying to find somewhere to eat."

"Kenma, Yaku and Kai are over there." He points to the grass. "You can join them."

"Hm okay." I nod. "Wanna come?"

"Well..."

"Oh come on, let's go." I get behind him and push him forward.

"Hold on-"

"MOVE"

Kuroo gives in and walks himself. I turn to the three boys and give them a thumbs up.

Their faces light up as they run to the table.

"MEAT!" I gear Yamamoto and Lev.

"HEY!" Kuroo turns around. "Zuki..."

"Y'know what I'm just gonna go over there. See ya!" I jog away before he says anything.

"GET BACK HERE!" He yells at me.

When I get to the other three boys, I sit beside them.

"What did you do?" Yaku asks.

"Just helped a few people." I reply.

"...they're gonna finish it all." Kenma mumbles. "Not that I care."

"Steal from other tables?" I suggest.

"We're not doing that." Kai sweatdrops.

Shibayama and Fukunaga join us, and we all talk and eat. I stay with them until we finish. It gets darker, and all the food is done.

I see Kiyoko and Yachi cleaning the tables up with the other managers, and I walk over.

"I'll help!" I exclaim.

"W-where did you come from?!" Yachi shivers. "You scared me!"

"Sorry!" I apologize.

"Can you help bring some tables in?" Kiyoko asks, unfazed.

"Sure." I nod.

I help out with the other girls. We quickly finish, and the teams come back.

"What's happening?" I ask.

"Fireworks!" Yachi says. "There's some boxes inside. Let's bring them out to the teams."

"Got it."

The managers and I hand out the boxes to each team before joining our own.

"Okay, everyone." Daichi calls the team. "Me, Kiyoko, Suga and Ennoshita are in charge of what to do."

"How about Asahi?" Hinata asks.

"He's scared to preparing them!" Suga slaps the other boy's back.

"Hey! N-no I'm not" Asahi protests. "...maybe a little."

"There you go!" Suga smiles.

"Have fun, and please don't get hurt." Takeda says to us.

"That last part if for you Zuki." Keishin points to me.

"Shut up!" I protest.

He gets me in a headlock and gives me a noogie. I laugh and I get out after a bit. More like he let's me go though.

Yachi and I take some sparkling sticks. I give some to Yamaguchi and Tsukishima too.

"I don't want it." The blond mutters.

"Too bad." I reply.

Everyone waits until it gets dark. After a few minutes, the sun goes down and the sky is dark.

"Let's do it!" Tanaka cheers.

We all start lighting some up. Daichi lights Yachi's, Yamaguchi's, Tsukishima's and my sticks. They start sparkling.

"Woooooooo!" I wave them in the air, and Yachi and Yamaguchi do too.

"Come on Tsukki!" Yamaguchi says to the blond.

"Ya!" I nod.

He huffs, but does it too.

A few seconds later, they go out. I search the box and find different fireworks.

"Ooh let's try this!" I hold the package up.

I open it and I get Kiyoko to come over. I aim it and she lights it up.

The fireworks starts spinning, flying forward.

"Woah woah WOAH WOAH STOP FOLLOWING US!" Noya and Tanaka yell, running away.

"Please don't hit me please don't hit me please don't hit me" Asahi started repeating as it flew past him.

The sky lights up as a bunch of fireworks are shot into the air. Hinata gives me some more sparkling sticks, and we run around the team together.

"WOOOOOOOOOO!" We yell together.

"Please don't fall" Narita sweatdrops.

"That would be funny." Tsukishima snickers.

"Do we have more?" Kinoshita goes to the box.

Hinata and I join Kageyama around one. Sugawara lights it up and we watch as it zooms into the sky and bursts.

Suddenly, behind me I hear something sparkling.

"Hello." I see Spencer smirking.

"No don't you DARE BURN ME GET AWAY!" I jump up and run.

He laughs as he chases me around the whole beach. Eventually, he runs out and stops.

"ASSHOLE!" I tackle him.

"Oof" he stumbles forward. "Nice try Shortie."

He swings his arm around me shoulders, and I do the same. The two of us happily walks back to my team.

After a bit, I sneak away from the beach. I make my way to the trail to the secret spot.

I sit at the edge and I watch as the sky shines with colors. I smile.

I wonder what'll happen tomorrow. And after that.

We got so much better. We'll definitely win some more matches too!

I'll just have to wait...but until then

I continue to watch the bright fireworks in the sky, and await for what's next.
