Mizuki pov.
Akaashi goes to the cart of volleyballs on the other side of the court, and Bokuto join him. He goes to the back with a volleyball, ready to spike.

"Ready?" Akaashi asks.

"Yup." Bokuto and I reply.

Bokito throws the mall to Akaashi, who sets the ball to him. He jumps to spike it.

I jump too, but the ball goes right through my block and into the floor.

"Nice kill!" I smile and say to him. "That was pretty strong."

"There's one of the top aces for ya!" Bokuto points to himself proudly.

He goes back to his spot and so do I.

Bokuto throws the ball to Akaashi and runs up to the net.

Akaashi sets the ball, and Bokuto and I jump.

Bokuto spikes the ball, and it hits my wrist. Then it bounces into the air. It falls onto our side though.

"Crap." I mumble, landing.

"Ooh, nice try." Bokuto smirks.

I smile. "I'll get the next."

"Alright!" Bokuto goes back to his spot.

Akaashi sets the ball to him, and he runs up again.

I jump at the same time as Bokuto again, but he spikes the back past me again.

Then, we keep going. I start to kind of stop his spikes, but he gets them all past me.

"Nice one." I say to Bokuto.

He smirks. "Tired?"

I smile. "Yup."

I turn to the two boys from Nekoma. "Tetsu, Lev, take over for me?"

"You're done already?!" Bokuto complains.

"What do you mean, already?!" I reply. "I've done so many, already!"

"Here, I'll join you." Kuroo stands beside me.

"Uh," I look past him and I see Tsukishima.

"Oh, hey, Keikei!" I call him.

He turns to me. I jog up to the door. "Wanna block some spikes?"

"Actually, I'm done for today." He replies.

"Awww come on!" I complain. "You're a middle blocker. You should go practice."

"Plus, blocking one of the top five aces would definitely help you improve." I add pointing at Bokuto.

"So, he didn't make it to into the top three then." Tsukishima says.

"Hey!" Bokuto exclaims.

"It'll be good practice, Keikei." I say.

He sighs. "Fine."

Tsukishima walks up to me. "You better be staying. I'm not going to practice here if you don't."

I shrug. "Okay."

Once Tsukishima goes in, he let's go of my hand. I go back to the boys.

"Keikei is gonna block, and if Kuroo is joining, I'll stay with Lev." I say.

"Okay." Akaashi nods.

I walk over to Lev, who looks dead in a puddle of sweat.

"Lev?" I call him.

"Uhhhhh...oh hi Zuki." He smiles and waves.

I crouch down to him. "You okay?"

"Tired." He complains. "Kuroo told me that I have to know how to receive if I play as a regular."

"It's true, you know." I sit in front of him. "You should probably know how to receive before anything else."

I stand up and I go to the storage room. I grab a mop and I go back.

"Here, get up." I hold my hand out to him. "I'll help you out."

Lev beams. "Really? Thank you!"

He takes my hand and i help him up.

"I'm cleaning this mess first. Could you grab a volleyball or two?"

He nods and goes to get them.

I kind of clean the floor.

At least it's not slippery.

"Okay, I'm gonna put this away." I say once Lev comes. "I'll be right back."

I quickly drop the mop off at the storage room and I go back to Lev.

"Okay, so receiving." I think to myself.

"Let me see your receiving position?" I say.

He goes into position.

There's a problem.

I stand beside him and I show him how to do it.

"Keep your forearms together, and flat so you have more control over the ball." I explain.

"O-okay. I think I got it." Lev says.

I nod. " 'K, then let's start practicing."

I take a few steps away from him.

"I'm gonna spike the ball to you." I explain. "You receive it, and make the ball come me back to me. Got it?"

"Yup!"

I throw the ball up, and when it comes down I hit the ball to Lev.

It bounces from his arms to the side.

"Nice try." I say to him while I get the ball. "Use your legs too, not just your arms."

I explain what I mean, and then we continue with the drill.

Eventually, Lev starts getting it.

I spike the ball again to him, and he bumps it back to me.

"Nice!" I get ready to spike. "Another one."

I spike it to him again, and he bumps it back.

We go on for a little, until I catch the ball.

"That was great, Lev!" I walk up to him.

"I'm tired!" He whines.

I take his water bottle and a towel and I toss it to him.

"You definitely got better." I sit beside him.

"Really?"

I nod. "Yup!"

Lev beams. "Thanks, Zuki!"

I smile. Then, I see Tsukishima leaving the gym and some people from Nekoma coming in.

"Your team is here. I'm gonna join the rest of mine." I stand up.

"Could you help me with receiving tomorrow?" Lev asks.

"Of course! Just call me when you need me." I give him a thumbs up.

I jog to Kuroo. "Hey Tetsu."

"Hey Zuki." He ruffles my hair.

"What happened?" I ask.

"Kuroo, the master of provocation, has failed." Bokuto replies.

"You pissed him off?" I ask Kuroo.

"Maybe." He shrugs.

I sigh. "Anyways. I'm gonna go practice with my team now. See you guys later!"

I wave and I jog to the first gym.

"Hey guys, can I join orrrr...?" I ask.

"Sure!" Suga waves me over. "We're trying the synchronized attack."

I nod and I stand in my spot.

We start practicing the attack over and over again.

We're starting to get the hang of this...

After a while, we finish. We walk together to our room.

"Everyone, get ready for bed." Daichi says to the team. "Lights out in an hour."

"Yes sir!"

I walk I to the back, where the futons are stored.

"Hey Mizuki?" Kageyama comes beside me. "Aren't you staying with the managers?"

I shrug. "I don't even know where they're staying, so I'm gonna sleep here for now."

"Okay. Here, I'll help."

He takes some futons and sets them up with me.

Once we're finishes, I take the one at the corner, farther away from the door. I out my bag there and I lay down.

"Jeez, I'm so tired!" I yawn.

Kageyama takes the futon across from me.

Tanaka and Noya somewhat sneak over to the futons near me.

"Tanaka, Noya, you're staying on the opposite side of Mizuki." Suga calls them.

They sulk and slowly walk over.

"Welp, I'm gonna take a shower now." I stand up and I get a change of clothes. "See ya."

I exit the room and I go downstairs.

Shower, shower, where is it? Oh here.

I go into the girls shower room. I quickly go in and take a shower.

Once I'm finished, I grab a bag of chips from a vending machine.

...is it possible to go onto the roof of the dorm? Ooh, I'm gonna find a way.

I look around on the first floor, where the kitchen and cafeteria and everything is. Then, the floor that our team is staying. After then the third floor, with some of the other teams.

Jeez, how many floors are there? Daisuke said three, didn't he? Damn, that's a lot of space...

I make my way through the halls. I hear the other teams talking too.

After going around, I check the door close to the staircase.

I open in and see some stairs.

This is probably it.

I close the door behind me, making it pretty dark.

Why didn't I bring my phone? Dammit.

I slowly make my way upstairs and open the door.

Right when I open it, a guest of wind blows in my face.

That feels refreshing.

I look around. The roof was pretty much empty, and flat. There's also a fence that blocks you from falling off.

"Hey Zuki" Someone calls me. I see Spencer.

"Hey Spence." I walk to him. "Whatcha doing here?"

"Could ask you the same thing." He replies.

I take a chip out of my bag. "Donno."

We look at the lake, not talking.

"Oh, Spence?" I suddenly ask.

"Ya?"

"You know that storage space over there?" I point to the storage room beside the parking lot.

"Yup." He nods.

"What's with all those water balloons and water guns?"

He smiles. "Well, Daisuke said they were just gonna be stored there for now. We might use them."

"...could I use some water balloons?"

"You'd have to fill them first." He points out.

"Ya, duh. But could I?" I ask innocently.

"You're planning to use them on your team, right?"

"...let's say I do."

He smiles evilly. "Let's prank them tomorrow."

My face lights up. "For real?"

Spencer nods. "Yup. Let's go fill them up now."

He walks to the door, and I follow him excitedly.

YESSSSSSSS!

We sneak to the storage room and start filling the balloons with water, and make a small plan.

We both leave to our dorms before curfew, so we wouldn't get in trouble.

I go to the washroom to get ready to sleep.

"Where were you?" Tsukishima asks me once I'm in the room.

"Awwww, do you actually care?" I smile innocently.

He rolls his eyes and walks to his futon.

I go to mine and I sit. I take my laptop out and open my game.

"Mizuki." Daichi calls me. "Lights out in a few minutes."

I pout. "Awww, seriously?"

He nods and I sigh.

I'll just check, I guess.

I open one of my games and check the rankings.

...ya I went down by a bit. Welp I'll just play tomorrow I guess.

I put my laptop away and I cover myself with the blanket.

Everyone is in their futons and someone turns the lights off.

"Goodnight everyone." I say out loud.

"'Night" Kinoshita says.

"Goodnight!" Yamaguchi adds.

"Don't let the bugs bit and rip your souls out and-" Noya starts.

"SHUT UP NISHINOYA!" Daichi yells.

"ThErE aRe BuGs?!" Hinata whispers, shaking.

"Calm down, dumbass." Kageyama mumbles.

"BuT tHe BuGs WiLl AtT-"

"No they won't, Hinata. Don't worry!" Suga attempts to comfort him.

"Yes they will. They'll attack you and bite you and rip your limbs off one by one-" Tanaka continues.

"TANAKA THAT DOESN'T HELP!" Narita yells.

"I'M GOING TO DIEEEEEEE!"

"H-hinata, it'll be okay" Asahi tries to calm him down, worried.

"Tanaka, Noya, look at what you did-"

"Not only will they rip you apart, they will also go for the smallest of us, and-" Tsukishima adds.

"Tsukki, no!" Yamaguchi stops him, his voice shaking.

"Wait a second you skyscraper" Noya growls.

"THEY WILL? I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE! I HAVEN'T EVEN MADE IT TO THE NATIONALS YET AND-" Hinata freaks out and starts ranting.

"EVERYONE SHUT UP!" Daichi screams.

Everyone goes quiet.

I cover my face and my mouth before I start laughing hysterically.

"MIZUKI THIS ISN'T FUNNY!" Daichi continues. "EVERYONE GO TO SLEEP"

I laugh even more, but I cover my mouth.

It quickly quiets down.

Then everyone falls asleep.
