These are thoughts

Mizuki pov.
School ends once it's Monday, and we get our report cards.

Then, after that school day, it was vacation.

Everyday we practice and practice, improving our skills as much as we can.

Then, it was the day before departure.

"Alright everyone, I hope you finished packing everything for the trip!" Takeda says.

Most of us nod. Some look away.

He sighs. "We'll have to leave tomorrow, since the time change. So please make sure you have everything by tonight, and be ready for tomorrow."

"Yes sir!" We all say.

We start packing our things up and we head home.

I take a shower and I start making sure that I have everything.

I have a bunch of clothes, kneepads and shoes for volleyball, I have my laptop and headphones, some drawing things just for fun...

Once I'm finished, I fall asleep.

Time skip to next day

Keishin and I leave and we go to the school to meet the rest of the team. Well, some people were still coming.

"Morning!" I jog over to the team while they sit together in the gym.

"Morning Zuki!" Hinata waves, and makes some space beside him.

I sit down. "Everyone ready for today?"

Suga nods. "How long is the trip gonna be?"

I shrug. "Only a few hours, I think.

"The plane ride is gonna be around 16 hours." Daichi corrects me.

I wave it off. "Same thing."

"How is that only a few hours?!" Hinata exclaims. "How do we survive that long?!"

I giggle. "They have some snacks and a washroom in the plane. Plus you brought some other stuff other than clothes and volleyball stuff, right?"

Hinata freezes and looks down. "...I brought a volleyball?"

Ennoshita sighs. "I believe that counts as volleyball stuff, Hinata."

"I brought over some extra stuff, if you wanna use them." I say, and he nods.

I smile evilly. "Including my nerf guns"

Daichi glares at me. I smile back innocently.

I take it out of my bag. I took my smaller one in my backpack, but I stuffed a bigger one in my luggage.

Also, the gun I had has the balls instead of the bigger bullets.

I hide right beside the door, inside the gym.

Then, Tsukishima, Tanaka and Kinoshita.

"HAHAHAHAHHA" I start shooting him with my gun.

"OW!" Tsukishima tries to block the bullets. "WHAT THE HELL?"

Tanaka and Kinoshita also try to block them, but I end up hitting all of them.

Once I finish shooting, I laugh.

I pick up the bullets and I rejoin the others

After a few minutes, the whole team is here.

We gather around Takeda and Keishin.

"The flight will be at 1pm here, and well get there in maybe 16 hours." Takeda says. "It's better if we leave a little earlier, so that we have extra time."

"Everyone, get on the bus! We're going to the airport." Keishin says.

I wall up to him. "I'm guessing we're on a different plane than the other teams?"

He nods. "Ya, but we'll be arriving earlier than them. Our flight lands in Canada at 12pm, and theirs is an hour later."

"Ok." We go to the bus and we load our luggage.

Takeda drives us to the airport once were all ready.

I look outside from the window.

Holy shit, we're actually going! I'm so excited!!!

After a bit, we arrive at the airport. We unload out things and walk together into the airport.

"I'll get the tickets with Ukai." Takeda says. "I don't want us to use up that much space."

We give them our passports, and they get the tickets. We stay on the side and wait.

"Zuki, how long are we gonna have to wait for?" Hinata complains.

"Wait, have none of you ever been on a plane?" I ask.

Everyone shakes their head.

I sigh. "Ok, well just for now, Takeda and Keishi-nii are getting the tickets. Then, we'll have to go through security."

Hinata's face drains. "S-security?"

I put my arm around him. "Don't worry, Sho! There just gonna check if we can bring everything on our carry-on bags, and see if we have anything dangerous on us.

"Just follow what they tell you and you'll be fine!"

He nods. We see Kageyama taking some food out of his bag.

"Kags, you can't bring food on the plane." I sweatdrop.

He looks into his bag silently before stuffing some in his mouth and giving some to the others.

Takeda and Keishin come back.

"Ok, we have the tickets. Now, we just have to put our luggage over there." He points to the place to check them in.

We quickly do that, and we go to the security check.

After having to calm Hinata down, and some of the others acting crazy, we finally make it to the waiting space.

I slump on one of the seats. "That was way to tiring."

Daichi sigh. "Crazy too."

I check my phone.

12:28pm

I stand up and stretch. "I'm gonna get some food. Anyone want anything?"

"Chips." "Could I get a burger?" "D'you think theres ramen here?" "How about sweets?"

"Guys!" Daichi yells. Everyone shuts up. "One by one."

"Also, it might be better not to have a full meal before getting on a plane for the first time." I point out.

I write down everything that the team wants.

Onigiri - Kiyoko, Yachi
Gari-gari popsicle - Noya
Chips - Asahi, Ennoshita, Narita
Cookies - Hinata, Suga
Fries - Yamaguchi
Strawberry shortcake - Tsukishima
Water - Daichi, Kinoshita, Kiyoko
Soda - Tanaka, Noya, Narita, Suga
Juice - Hinata, Yamaguchi, Asahi, Yachi
Coffee - Takeda, Keishin, Ennoshita, Daichi
Milk - Kageyama

I sigh.

This is a lot.

"I'll be back in a bit." I wave to them.

"Wait, we'll help." Someone says.

"Hm?"

Daichi and Noya appear beside me. "Let's go."

I smile and follow him. "Thanks guys!"

We stop at a few stores, getting everything we need.

Before we head back, we find a table to put everything down.

"...four sodas, four juices..." I count everything. "I think we got them all. Let's head back."

"Did you get something?" Daichi asks me.

I shrug. "No. I ran out of money anyways."

"Wait, you spent it all on this?" Noya asks.

"Yup. Now, let's go."

I put everything in a bag and starts to walk back.

Daichi puts his hand on my shoulder. "C'mon, we'll get you something."

I shake my head and smile. "It's fine, I don't really want anything."

Noya grabs my hand and drags me to a random store.

"Noya, I said it's fine!" I protest, but he ignores me.

We go in and we check out what they have.

We walk by a bunch of stuff.

Noya and I check out everything they have, and Daichi follows behind us.

I stop infront of some hanami dango and mochi.

Those look so good...wait no I don't what them to use their money on me.

"Excuse me, could we take three of the hanami dango, and a box of mochi?" I hear Daichi ask a worker.

They nod, and start putting them in two different boxes.

"Wait!" I say interrupt. "It's fine, you don't need to get it!"

"Ignore her please." Daichi tells the worker. They hesitantly start packing the food.

Daichi pays and takes the bag of food.

He holds the bag to me. I peek in to see what's inside.

"I told you, you didn't have to!" I complain.

"It's the least we can do, since you bought everything else." Daichi says.

I take the bag, and then Noya takes the bag with everything else.

We walk out of the store.

"...thanks Daichi, Noya." I thank them.

"No problem." Daichi tells me.

I take a hanami dango from my box, and eat it.

"By the way, Mizuki?" Daichi says. "You know your gun?"

I nod.

"Ya, once we get to the camp, I'm taking it away."

"But-" I start to protest.

"No buts. I'm taking it away."

I pout. "Fine."

I lean over to Noya. "I have another gun, you know."

He blushes a little, and smiles.

"Could I?" He asks.

I give him a thumbs up. "Sure, Senpai!"

Noya starts blushing a lot.

"Wait, Daichi, could I have a but of money?" He asks suddenly.

Daichi gives him some change.

Then, Noya rushes to a store and buys something.

He comes back and holds a popsicle to me.

"...Noya?" I ask confused.

"I'm your Senpai, so I'm treating you!" He says.

I giggle and take it.

We keep talking. After a few minutes, we make it back to the team.

"Hey everyone! We're back" Mizuki calls them over.

I open the bag and she hands everything out.

"Thanks guys!" The teams says to us.

"No problem!" I say.

I go to my seat. Then, I start stuffing my mouth with mochi.

"Disgusting." Tsukishima mumbles.

I frown, but my cheeks are puffed out.

The team laughs, but mostly Hinata and Tanaka.

"You look like a pufferfish!" Tanaka yells between breaths. Hinata laughs even more.

"Bleh!" I try to kind of stuck my tongue out.

"Don't choke, dumbass." Coach Ukai chops her on her head.

"Owh!" She kinda says.

After a a while, we hear the an announcement.

"The flight to Toronto, Canada has arrived. Please be ready to board the plane. Thank you"

Takeda stands up. "Is everyone done eating?"

All of us nod.

"Alright, then make sure you have everything, and we're going on."

He hands out the tickets for us. We all check our seats and the each others'.

I'm beside Yamaguchi and Hinata.

We slowly get to the plane, and we find our seats.

"Sho, you're in the window seat" I call him.

He goes into the seat first, then me, then Yamaguchi.

I slump into the seat. "Finally!"

Yamaguchi chuckles, and we wait for takeoff.

I look around.

We're the biggest group here. At least I think so...

"We are about to start moving. Please put on your seatbelts, turn off electronics, and lit your table away. Thank you-"

The plane starts moving.

"We're moving!" Hinata exclaims.

I giggle. "Yup. Your ears might feel weird when we start going up."

"What do you mea-ahhhh!"

We start to fly upwards.

"Zukiiiiii!!!!" Hinata yells.

I grab his hand. "It's okay, don't worry, Sho"

He calms down a little. I turn to Yamaguchi, who's face is loosing color.

I take his hand too, and I smile. "Deep breaths, Yams. It's almost done."

After a few second, we start flying straight.

"You can take off your seatbelts now, and use your table. We'll be arriving at Toronto in a few hours."

Yamaguchi and Hinata take a deep breath out.

We're they holding their breath the whole time?

"You two okay?" I ask.

"I-I think so" Yamaguchi stammers.

"Its finally over!" Hinata smiles.

"Well, we do have to do that once we come back..." I mumble.

Hinata flinches. "WE DO?!"

"How else are we supposed to get back to Japan?"

Hinata starts thinking to himself. "We can swim?"

I take off my seatbelt and I stand and stretch.

"C-careful, Zuki!" Yamaguchi says, worried.

"You can walk around now if you want. It'll probably be a smooth ride until we land anyways." I say.

"Woah, look at the clouds!" Hinata looks out the window.

I giggle, and I take a pillow out of my bag. "I'm gonna sleep. Wake me up in a few hours, please."

Yamaguchi and Hinata nod.

I make myself comfortable, and slowly, I fall asleep.
