These are thoughts
This is what people are saying on the TV

Mizuki pov.
I stand beside Daichi and I watch the TV.

Rounds one and two of the interhigh preliminaries were held today for the Miyagi prefecture.

I guess that would be us.

The TV shows Shiratorizawa's team.

Shiratorizawa won their first match against the opposing team, Ougi South High, with the scores 25 to 10 in the first set and 25 to 6 in the second set.

My eyes get big.

Oh shit, they won by that many points? That's amazing...

Will these champions easily get their ticket to the nationals like last year? Or will another team appear and stop them?

Another player to watch for is in block A.

The tv shows the gym we played in.

"That's the gym we played in today!" Noya, Tanaka and Hinata move closer to the tv.

The player to watch is Oikawa Tooru, team captain from Aoba Johsai.

The three boys look at the TV, mad. Well mostly Tanaka.

Tomorrow, the team that will be facing Aoba Johsai is the team that beat Dateko in a straight set, and broke through their iron wall, the veteran team Karasuno High!

Hinata, Nishinoya and Tanaka's faces' light up at the name.

But then it immediately turned to Oikawa.

The three boys get pissed.

What do you think of your opponent in the third round, Karasuno High?

"They're a good team!" Oikawa says. "I hope they come at us with everything they've got, then crumble to pieces!"

Everyone glares at the tv.

That damn bastard, a-

Also, in today's match, we find out that the girl on Karasuno's boys volleyball team is the one and only Falcon!

I flinch, annoyed. I feel everyone looking at me.

Then, the TV shows me when I was yelling at everyone about not being the Falcon anymore.

She says that she is no longer the Falcon, but a crow now! But she is still an elite volleyball player.

I'm sure tomorrow's match will be very exciting! Though we all want Oikawa to do his best!

Now, to the weather...

We keep glaring at the tv. Another teacher tries to reassure us too.

"Alright then." Daichi turns and starts to leave. "Let's get started."

We all walk away, pissed.

When we get to the gym, we gather around Keishin and Takeda.

"Today's match against Dateko was the proverbial first stop of beer!" Keishin exclaims.

We all sweatdrop.

"None of us can drink, dumbass!" I yell at him.

"Yes, please talk about something they can understand, Ukai." Takeda says to him.

Keishin glares at me, and sighs.

"With the Hinata and Kageyama's quick attack, we surprised Dateko. Also, we surprised them with Zuki too."

"Yeah!" I punch my hand in the air, and the team laughs.

"But since we've played Seijoh before, they know most of our tricks. But of course, they haven't seen Zuki playing at her full power, or any of the tricks she has ready."

I smile and nod.

"Remember that you definitely have good offensive power. First we need to endure Oikawa's serve."

He starts explaining about changing who is going for serves in our rotation.

Then, he points at me.

"You're gonna serve to the team, and try to make the serves close to Oikawa's serve, or with more power and control. It'll help to prepare for his serves, and you can practice yours."

I nod.

"One other thing." Keishin says. "When you were watching Seijoh play, I bet you were thinking " 'crap they're too tough'."

The team suddenly looked surprised.

"But pretend we were spectators, watching our own match against Dateko. We'd freak out, thinking 'What kind of block is that!' 'That's scary!'"

"But we fought them and won." Keishin smirks. "And we'll do the same tomorrow."

"YEAH!" We all cheer.

We start to practice a little.

First, we went over the formation. Then, I start serving.

The boys would rotate on and off, so that they can all try to receive my serve, hopefully to get ready for Oikawa's.

This takes weeks of practice to get used to and master. We have this one practice. I might as well just do a few that around the same as Kawa's and some that are stronger...

I get the ball and take a few steps back. Then, I start bouncing the ball.

"You guys ready?" I call the boys on the other side of the net.

"Yeah!"

I nod, and tale a deep breath.

Usually, I would use a bit less than half strength. I think Oilawa's serves are a bit more than half, so I'll start with that.

I throw the ball in the air, run up to it and jump.

I hit the ball a bit more than half strength, and I aim it to the side.

The ball flies over the net, and to the left.

Tanaka tries to receive it, but it goes out after bouncing off his arms.

They look at me in shock.

"Since when did you know how to do that?!"

I shrug and I get another volleyball.

Same thing, but this time to the right side.

I serve the ball, using a bit more power than before, and I aim it to the right side.

Again, the ball goes out after they try to receive it.

I serve the ball some more, until I'm out of breath.

I slump on the ground, exhausted.

"You ok, Zuki?" Kiyoko asks me as she gives me a water bottle.

"Ya I'm fine. Thanks Kiko!"

She nods, and walks to the side. The boys come and stay beside me.

"That was awsome Zuki!" Hinata exclaims, sitting beside me.

I smile. "Thanks Sho."

I turn to everyone. "Do you think you're ready for the serves tomorrow? Or should we do some more?"

"You're exhausted, Mizuki. I don't think you should keep serving." Daichi says.

"I think we'll totally be ready for tomorrow!" Noya yells, and I laugh.

"Alright then, let's get changed everyone." Daichi says to everyone.

I go to the girls change room, and I wait outside the clubhouse for the others to finish.

Once everyone is done, I quickly join Keishin down the hill at the store.

"Ready to go, Zuki?" He asks me.

"Yup! Let's go!"

He drives back home, and we make some food to eat.

Then, I take a quick shower and change into my pjs.

When I'm finished, I hear something from Keishin's room.

I quietly open the door, and sneak in. I see Keishin watching Seijoh's match from today. And he's smoking.

I quietly walk up to him, and I take the cigarette out of his mouth.

"Hey!" He yells, surprised.

I put it out in the container beside him. "You shouldn't be smoking, Keishi-nii! It isn't good for you."

"...whatever."

I sigh and I sit beside him.

"Seijoh's match, right?" I ask, pojting to the tv.

"Ya. I wanted to see what they can do."

I nod, and I watch.

Oikawa's serve is the first problem. That's how they get so many points too. But there's also Oikawa being able to bring his teammates to their best. And they're also really good at playing too. Their spikes are powerful, and their receives are pretty good. There's also Zumi and Kawa, who don't have to talk to communicate. And Iwaizumi has powerful spikes too.

I stand up to leave.

"I'm gonna rest a bit. Goodnight Keishi-nii."

"'K, goodnight Zuki."

I walk back to my room, and I relax on my bed. I stare at the ceiling.

I'm excited for tomorrow! It'll be fun to play against Seijoh!

Then, I fall asleep.

Time skip to the next day

I wake up and I go downstairs. I see Keishin eating, and he gives me a bun to eat.

We change and get our stuff ready. Then, we leave for school.

Some of the team is already there, and people came too.

We get on the bus and we go to the Sendai City Gymnasium.

Once our match starts, or more like the practice, we meet Seijoh in the gym.

Daichi and Oikawa shake hands. Then, we start practice.

"Oikawa, you can do it!!!!!" I hear some fangirls scream in the stands.

Jeez, they're so annoying!

When we practice, we end up yelling when we spike. We drown out the fan's cheers.

Then, it's Seijoh's turn to practice.

We stay on the side, and I watch them.

Oikawa sets to the others, and they spike it over.

I hear and watch as Oikawa pissed Iwaizumi off. I laugh to myself.

They're a good team, and they work together well. But then there's Oikawa annoying the crap outta Iwaizumi.

One they're done, both teams make a line.

We bow. "Let's have a good match!"

I start walking to the bench, but I pass by Iwaizumi.

"Good luck!" I smile and wave to him. "We're gonna beat you guys!"

He blushes.

"No way! We're totally gonna win!" Makki says, standing beside Iwaizumi.

I stick my tongue out at them, and I walk to the team.

"You've all beaten Seijoh before, other than Mizuki." Takeda tells us. "Even if they weren't at their best, I believe defeating them again is a good reason to be confident. Don't be conceited."

"Yes sir!" We all say.

We huddle.

"Karasuno, Fight!" "Yeah!"

We walk on the court, and we get in our positions.

Tsukishima is at the serving spot, with Asahi beside him and Daichi on his left. Hinata is infront of Daichi, and I'm between him and Kageyama.

I glance on the other side of the court. Oikawa is there.

Right now, we're opponents.
