Mizuki pov.
When Keishin and I get home, we have some ramen for dinner, and then I just stayed in my room for most of the time.

I was doing my homework when Keishin came in.

"Zuki?" He called me, while peeking through the door.

"You can come in. What's up?"

He sits in my bed.

"When we were playing against Nekoma, remember their back attack with the other spikes faking a spike?"

I think to myself.

"I might have missed that... I wasn't paying attention for a bit."

He sighs.

"You know what I mean, though don't you?"

I nod. When I used to play, my team would do the same attack during some matches.

"You're thinking about teaching them, aren't you." I say to him.

"Ya. I wanted to do it tomorrow with you and some of the other boys, but you're practicing with Nekoma."

"Sorry..."

"It's fine, I'll show them the next day. But do you think they can pull it off?"

"Of course! I'm sure Asahi can do a back attack too. He's an ace after all."

He nods. "Ok. You'll be part of this too, since you can already do it."

"Ya, ya I know."

He turns to leave my room.

"Hey Keishi-nii?"

"Ya?"

"If you're gonna be leaving home early to do something, either tell me or do it quietly please." I say, looking at my work.

"How did you know?!"

"Um, it was kinda obvious. One, you're pretty loud. And two, you're definitely more tired than before. Plus, once when I was getting a snack, I saw you leave."

He doesn't say anything, then he sighs.

"Ok, fine. I'll be more quiet. But you need to sleep since you have school. So no snacks."

"How about I help you then? You're going to the farm, right?"

"Yes I'm going to the farm, and no you can't help me. I just said that you need sleep because of school."

"I don't have to sleep, you know. Plus I'm pretty sure you only need one hour to function."

"Zuki. No. Now go to bed."

He leaves before I can say anything.

I change into my pjs and I fall asleep.

Time skip to next day

6:57

I wake up and I take a quick shower. I change into the uniform, and when I go down, I see Keishin sleeping.

Sleepyhead.

I quietly make a sandwich for lunch.

I don't wanna wake up Keishi-nii... but I need a ride... oh I have my skateboard!

I quickly go upstairs, and I grab my skateboard.

When I go down, I write a note saying that I'm going to school. I put it on the table in front of Keishin so he'll see it. Then, I leave.

Ok, Mizuki. You've done this a million times, you can skate again. Also, which way was school again?

I look around, and I go the route where we would usually go.

I arrive at school, and I look at my phone.

7:48

Dammit I'm early. Maybe I can make a quick trip to a store for food...

I go back down the hill, and I go to a small store.

I walk in, and I see Shimada.

"Oh Mizuki! What brings you here?" He asks me as I walk around.

"Keishi-nii was asleep, probably from working at the farm. So I just skated to school. I'm early, so I'm just gonna get some snacks..."

I look around and I pick up a few chips.

"Here. How much is this?" I ask him.

"It's fine, I'll pay for it. How's volleyball? I heard you joined the team."

"It's really fun. I'm happy that they allowed me to play with them too!" I say happily.

"That's nice. I think you might have to go to school now."

I look at the clock.

8:20

"Oh crap, ya I have to go. Maybe I'll drop by again. And thanks for the chips!" I say, waving to him as I leave.

When I go outside, to get on my skateboard and I go to school.

When I get there, a lot more students are walking around.

"Zuki!" I see Hitoka.

"Hey Toka!" I walk to her.

She points to my skateboard.

"You skateboard?"

I nod.

She freaks out. "You should wear a helmet! What if you get hurt?"

"Calm down Toka." I laugh. "I know how to skate, I don't need a helmet. Let's go in."

I walk in, and she follows, complaining that I should wear a helmet.

Time skip to the end of school

Hitoka goes home, and I wait around the front of the school.

How am I supposed to go to Tokyo...

I look down the hill, and I see a familiar face.

"Kuroo!" I call him as I skateboard down.

He sees me.

"Hey Kitten! Ready to go? I already checked with your brother too, by the way."

I nod.

"Ok! Let's go!"

We go on the bullet train, and we arrive at Nekoma High.

"Hey guys! Mizuki is here!" Kuroo yells to his team as we go in the gym.

Everyone crowds around us.

"Hi! I'll be helping to coach you guys today!" I smile shyly and wave.

Mohawk faints.

"Um... I'll go change. Where the girls' change room?" I ask.

The boy who could keep up with Hinata grabs my hand and pulls me to a door.

"Its over here!" He says enthusiastically as he runs.

"Ah!" I stumble, but I keep up with him.

I go into the room.

"Thanks...?"

"I'm Inuoka So!"

"Ok! Thanks Inu-kun! Can I call you that?"

He blushes and nods. I go in and I quickly change into a t-shirt and shorts, and holding my knee pads. I also put on my hoodie, since I might not actually play.

I find my way back to the gym, and I see the boys stretching.

I walk to the coaches.

"Hi sensei! Hi Naoi!"

"Hello Mizuki. I'm glad you could come." Nekomata says.

"Yup! I'm excited to help them out today"

"I heard you joined the volleyball team?" Naoi asks me.

I nod. "I'll be playing with the boys team."

"You're playing volleyball?" Kuroo asks, appearing behind me.

I don't even flinch. "Yup! They made an exception for me!" I smile.

He nods, and the team gathers around us.

"Ok team, introduce yourself!"

I look at the boys. I see Kuroo, who I already know, and Kenma who I also already know, playing on one of his devices.

The short one who was talking with Suga before waves.

"My name is Morisuke Yaku. You can call me Yaku though."

"I'm Nobuyuki Kai." The guy beside Yaku says.

"Fukunaga Shohei." Said the next one.

"Inuoka So! Like you know!" The boy said. I smile and nod.

"I'm Shibayama Yuki!" The boys beside Inu-kun.

I look at the last guy, who was just staring at me the whole time.

Creepy...

I walk up to him and wave my hand infront of his face.

"Um, hello?"

He snaps out of his thoughts.

"I'm Yamamoto Taketora!" He yells, and I laugh.

"Nice to meet you all! Let's start practice now."

"Yes ma'am!" They all say.

"Please just call me Mizuki! Let's start with some serves to warm up."

The team splits up to both sides and serve.

"Nice team. Anything you want them to focus on, or anything?" I ask Nekomata and Naoi.

"You choose. You're the main coach for today." Nekomata says, laughing.

I sigh, and I walk to the boys and watch.

Their serves are already pretty good, and their receives are on point. Their spikes are also powerful already...maybe I can help with some combinations or maybe...

I quietly watch the team.

There are eight of them, so it would be four on four, or three on three without the liberos. But if I play it would be uneven...

I sigh, and I walk to the closest boy to me.

"Hey Kozu-kun!" I call him. He sees me, and blushes.

"Hey Zuki." He says quietly.

"I'm just gonna watch over here, if you don't mind."

He shakes his head, and continues to serve.

"Kozu, could you try to add more power into the serve?" I ask him.

He slowly nods. I take his hand and I point to his palm.

"Try to focus your power here."

I hand him the ball, and he serves.

Hm, not much. Wait, he plays video games, doesn't he?

"Think of it like a video game." I call to him. His eyes widen. "Like you get a power up or something, and you're trying to beat the boss!"

He smiles a bit, and serves again.

It hits the ground.

Bam!

I high five Kenma.

"Nicely done!" I smile.

He blushes and nods.

I turn to the next people, and I give them some suggestions too.

Later, I help them work on their combinations, and the tricks.

I look at the clock.

7:24

"Ok guys, let's take another quick break!" I say to them.

The go to the sides, and relax a bit.

I sit beside Kenma and Kuroo.

"Hey Kitten?"

I turn to Kuroo. "Ya?"

"Have you coached before? Because you're really good at it. We've all improved a lot."

I shrug.

"I've never really coached before. I've helped Karasuno, like you know, and another team, but that's about it."

"But you're amazing!" Inuoka comes up to us. "We all got much better, and pretty fast too!"

I shrug again. "I like trying to bring in things that the people like, to motivate them a bit more. I think they should enjoy it when I teach, so I try to involve things that they like, hopefully to make it more fun!"

I smile, and the boys blush.

"Ok, let's go back to practice!" I say, standing up.
